창고시스템에서 보관위치할당 방식에 대한 이동거리와 보관위치 수의 분석 (Analysis of the Travel Distance and the Number of Storage Location for Storage Location Allocation Methods in a Warehouse System)

  • This paper addresses the analysis of the travel distance and the number of storage location for storage location allocation methods in a warehouse system. The dedicated, randomized, combined and limited storage methods are considered. The combined and the limited storage methods are suggested here, which the combined storage method is to divide the storage locations into the dedicated storage area and the randomized storage area, and the limited storage method is to restrict the storage area of each product. Through a numerical example, the average travel distance between input/output point and the storage locations, and the number of storage location needed in the warehouse are compared between storage location allocation methods. The nearest randomized storage method is shown as the reasonable one in the travel distance and the number of storage location.

배치 인출 창고시스템에서 저장/인출 차량의 주문 인출 소요시간 (The order Picking Time of the S/R Vehicle in a Batch Picking Warehouse System)

  • This paper addresses the analysis of the travel distance and order picking time of the vehicle in a aisle when items are picked by the batch in a warehouse system. Batching is to combine several orders in a single tour of the storage/retrieval machine. An advantage of batching is that the length of a tour for a batch of orders is shorter than the sum of the individual orders' tour lengths. The average travel distance and order picking time when a batch is picked in a aisle of the warehouse systems are analyzed for the batch size. And when the vehicle is idle, the dwell point of the vehicle to minimize to the response distance is analyzed. As the batch size is increased, average order picking time per item is decreased. The problem is analyzed and a numerical example is showed to explain the problem.

강우와 고속도로 통행특성의 관계 연구 (Analysis of Rain Impacts on Freeway Trip Characteristics)

  • 기상조건은 도로 및 운전조건을 열악하게 함으로써 교통사고와 정체의 원인이 되며, 운전자의 통행선택에 영향을 미쳐 기종점통행특성도 변화시킨다. 기종점 통행량은 교통계획에 있어 필수적으로 요구되는 자료이지만, 기상조건과 통행량과의 관련성을 검토한 연구는 거의 전무한 실정이다. 본 연구는 기상조건이 기종점간 통행특성에 미치는 영향 을 분석한 연구로, 2006년 1년간 전국적 강우일의 고속도로 통행특성을 분석하고 강우일과 비강우일의 차종별 통행량, 총통행거리, 평균통행거리를 비교분석하였으며, 강우수준별 통행량 모형을 제시하였다. 분석결과 강우일의 통행량 및 통행거리는 비강우일 때보다 감소한다는 것을 확인하였으며. 강우시 주말/평일별 차종별로 통행특성의 차이는 있으나, 강우수준에 따른 통행량의 차이는 크지 않다는 것을 제시하였다.

다부하를 운반하는 무인운반차시스템에서 운반거리의 분석 (Analysis of the Travel Distance in the Multiple-load Carrying Automated Guided Vehicle Systems)

  • This paper is to analyze the travel distance and the transport size of the vehicle when the AGV carries multiple-load in the tandem automated guided vehicle systems. The size of multiple-load represents the number of load that the AGV can carry simultaneously. The AGV can carry simultaneously multiple-load that load types are different. The transport system of the manufacturing system is a tandem configuration automated guided vehicle system, which is based on the partitioning of all the stations into several non-overlapping single closed loops. Each loop divided has only one vehicle traveling unidirectionally around it. The AGV of each loop has to have sufficient transport capacity that can carry all loads for given unit time. In this paper, the average loaded travel distance and the size of feasible multiple-load of the vehicle are analyzed. A numerical example is shown.

종합병원 정신건강의학과에 대한 공간적 접근성과 외래 의료이용 분석 (A Study on the Spatial Accessibility to the Psychiatry Department in General Hospital and Its Relationship with the Visit of Mental Patients)

  • Background: This study was purposed to analyze the effect of spatial accessibility to the psychiatry department in general hospital on the outpatient visit of mental patients. Methods: Data was provided from the Statistics Korea and Statistical Geographic Information Service, National Health Insurance Service, Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, and Korea Transport Institute in 2015. The study regions were 103 administrative regions such as Si and Gu. The 103 regions had at least one general hospitals with a psychiatry department. The number of outpatient visit of mental patients in regions was used as the dependent variable. Spatial accessibility to mental general hospital was used as the independent variable. Control variables included such as demographic, economic, and health medical factors. This study used network analysis and multi-variate regression analysis. Network analysis by ArcGIS ver. 10.0 (ESRI, Redlands, CA, USA) was used to evaluate the average travel time and travel distance in Korea. Multi-variate regression analysis was conducted by SAS ver. 9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA). Results: Travel distance and time had significant effects on the number of outpatient visits in mental patients in general hospital. Average travel time and travel distance had negative effects on the number of visits. Variables such as (number of total population, percentage of aged population over 65, and number of mental general hospital) had significant effects on the number of visit in mental patients. Conclusion: Health policy makers will need to consider the spatial accessibility to the mental healthcare organization in conducting regional health planning.

공간 상관성을 고려한 서울시 택시통행의 영향요인 분석 (Identifying Key Factors to Affect Taxi Travel Considering Spatial Dependence: A Case Study for Seoul)

  • 본 논문은 공간 상관성을 고려하여 서울의 택시통행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 것으로 택시의 GPS 자료를 이용하였다. 먼저 이들 자료를 이용하여 택시통행의 평균 통행시간, 평균 통행거리, 시공간적 분포 등의 통행특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 상당수의 택시통행이 평일 오전 첨두(8-9시)와 심야(0-1시) 시간대에 집중하는 것으로 나타났으며, 평균 통행거리와 통행시간은 각각 5.9km와 13분으로 나타났다. 이는 택시가 주로 단거리 통행수단이나 심야에 대중교통의 대체수단으로 활용되고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 다음으로 Moran's I 검정을 통해 교통존 기반의 택시통행들이 공간적으로 상관성이 있음을 규명하였다. 따라서 이를 고려한 택시통행에 대한 공간회귀모형(공간시차모형과 공간오차모형)을 추정하였으며, 인구사회 변수(가구수, 고령자수, 여성인구비, 자동차대수 등), 교통서비스 변수(지하철역수, 버스 정류장수 등), 토지이용 변수(인구밀도, 고용밀도, 주거면적 등) 등을 독립변수로 고려하였다. 모형분석 결과 이들 변수들이 통계적으로 유의하게 택시통행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

2차로도로 평균 통행속도-총지체율-교통량 관계 곡선 재정립 (Relationships Between Average Travel Speed, Time-Delayed Rate, and Volume on Two-lane Highways with Simulation Data)

  • PURPOSES : Two-lane highways have one lane in each direction, and lane changing and passing maneuvers take place in the opposing lane depending on the availability of passing sight distance. 2001 Korea Highway Capacity Manual (KHCM) is classified into two classes of two-lane highways (Type I, II), and average travel speed and time-delayed rate are used as measures of effectiveness (MOEs). However, since existing two-lane highways have both uninterrupted and interrupted traffic flow-system elements, a variety of free-flow speeds exhibits in two-lane highways. In addition, it is necessary to check if the linear-relationship between volumes and time-delayed rate is appropriate. Then, this study is to reestablish the relationship between average travel speed, time-delayed rate, and flow. METHODS : TWOPAS model was selected to conduct this study, and the free-flow speeds of passenger cars and the percentage of following vehicles observed in two-lane highways were applied to the model as the input. The revised relationships were developed from the computer simulation. RESULTS : In the revised average travel speed vs. flow relationship, the free-flow speed of 90km/h and 70km/h were added. It shows that the relationship between time delayed-rate and flow appeared to be appropriate with the log-function form and that there was no difference in time-delayed rate between the free flow speeds. In addition to revise the relationships, the speed prediction model and the time-delayed rate prediction model were also developed. CONCLUSIONS : The revised relationships between average travel speed, time-delayed rate, and flow would be useful in estimating the Level of Service(LOS) of a two-lane highway.

스마트카드 데이터를 활용한 통행궤적 기반 고령인구 통행유형 분류 (Understanding elderly's travel pattern based on individual trip trajectory using smart card data)

  • 평균수명의 연장과 급속한 고령화로 고령 인구 개인의 신체적, 경제적, 사회적 여건이 상이해짐에 따라 해당 연령층을 하나의 집단으로 정의하기 어려워지고 있다. 이에 해당 연령층을 다양한 특성을 가지는 집단으로 보고, 각 특성에 따른 정책 수립이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 대중교통 이용 궤적 데이터인 스마트카드 자료를 활용하여 고령 인구 개인이 가지는 통행의 특성에 따라 유형을 분류하고, 유형별 통행의 시공간적 특성 분석을 목적으로 하였다. 스마트카드 자료의 전처리를 통한 개별 사용자의 통행특성을 정의하였으며, 이에 따라 유사한 통행특성을 보이는 사용자의 유형을 분류하였다. 분류된 4개 유형 중 원거리 저빈도 체류형과 근거리 중빈도 이동형 유형은 은퇴 후 여가를 위한 외부 활동 통행 특성을 보이며, 원거리 고빈도 체류형, 원거리 고빈도 이동형 그룹은 정기적 출퇴근 통행을 포함한다. 본 연구결과는 서울시 고령 인구의 유형별 특성을 고려한 교통정책 수립에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Study on the Evacuation Performance According to Variation in Remoteness between Exit Stairways in Tall Buildings

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of remoteness between exit stairways on evacuation performance. Firstly, we reviewed the design regulations of the U.S., the U.K., and South Korea, in relation to remoteness between Exit stairways. Secondly, evacuation simulation was implemented, in order to evaluate the adequacy of each standard. Eight tall buildings in South Korea were selected for the simulation. Evacuation performance was assessed for different remote distances between Exit stairways. Lastly, this research analyses the evacuation simulation data statistically in relation to the effect of remoteness on evacuation time. We found that as the distance between two exit stairways increases, the total evacuation time and average evacuation time for evacuees decreases. There was no statistical influence between the maximum travel distance of the evacuee and the remoteness between two exit stairways, but there was a significant effect on the average travel distance of the evacuees. In addition, the results from the optimal point showed that the L_ratio had the highest evacuation time at 0.44, while the D_ratio had the highest evacuation time at 0.38.
