자동차 에어컨 냉매 가스 누설에 대한 고장사례 고찰 (A Study of Failure Examples for Refrigerant Gas Leakage in Automotive Air Conditioner System)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 자동차 에어컨 가스 누설에 관련된 고장사례를 분석하고 고찰한 것이다. 첫 번째 사례는 냉매가 누설된 상태에서 에어컨 컴프레서가 계속 작동되었다. 이로 인해 에어컨 컴프레서 내부의 피스톤이 윤활부족으로 인해 피스톤이 부분적으로 에어컨 컴프레서 내부의 실린더에 소착되는 현상이 발생하였다. 이것이 엔진작동 중 부하를 증대시켜 엔진의 회전수 변동과 함께 엔진의 작동이 정지되는 현상이 발생된 것으로 확인되었다. 두 번째 사례는 에어컨 라인과 관련 시스템을 확인한 결과 에어컨 컴프레서에서 뒤쪽으로 가는 컨덴서 고압파이프에서 미세한 균열에 의해 에어컨 냉매 가스가 누설되는 것을 확인하였다. 세 번째 사례는 에어컨 컨덴서 핀 부에서 육안으로 확인하기 어려운 미세한 크랙에 의해 컨덴서 내부 안쪽에서 에어컨 가스가 미세하게 누설되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 에어컨 시스템은 에어컨 냉매가스에 의해 자동차의 실내의 온도를 낮춰 공기조화를 하는 시스템이므로 최적의 상태를 유지할 수 있도록 철저한 관리를 하도록 하여야 한다.

  • 다양한 기계적 거동을 관찰할 때 예상되는 역효과의 측정 방법을 연구하는 것이 필수적이고, 고무 호스, 알루미늄 sleeve와 pipe에 의해 만들어진 Automotive Air-Conditioner-Hose의 응력과 변형 특성을 측정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동차에 있어 에어컨 냉매 순환에 중요한 역할을 하는 Automotive Air-Conditioner-Hose의 응력과 변형 특성을 유한요소법을 이용하여 분석하였다.

  • The improvement of cooling ability for the air conditioner is the most efficient method of application of its system. Therefore, this study has been investigated the improvement of cooling ability for the air conditioner using automotive by attached of a thermoelectric module. According to the result of test, capacity of the thermoelectric module make temperature range from $-75^{\circ}C$ to $+300^{\circ}C$ possible to cooling and exothermic. In addtion to, the reduction effect of energy revealed and the effect of liquid hammer remained with safety by attached the thermoelectric module. It was found that the air conditioner system by attached thermoelectric module have better cooling ability than the air conditioner system of existing vehicle.

이산화탄소 에어컨 시스템을 이용한 연료전지 자동차의 스택 냉각성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Studies on the Stack Cooling Performance Using a $CO_2$ Air Conditioning System in Fuel Cell Vehicles)

  • The $CO_2$ air conditioning system installed in fuel cell vehicles could be used either for stack cooling or for cabin cooling, and thus was used for the stack cooling when additional stack heat release was required over a fixed radiator capacity for high power generation. This study investigated the performance of the stack cooling system using $CO_2$ air conditioner at various operating conditions. Also, the heat releasing effectiveness and mutual interference were analyzed for the stack cooling system using an air conditioner and compared with the conventional radiator cooling system with/without cabin cooling. The heat release of the stack cooling system with the aid of $CO_2$ air conditioner increased up to 36% more than that of the conventional radiator cooling system with cabin cooling. Furthermore, the heat release of the stack cooling system using $CO_2$ air conditioner increased more by 7% than that of the conventional radiator cooling system without cabin cooling.

  • For successful design of component, performances of one-tank plate type evaporator, gas-liquid separation type condenser, swash plate type compressor and thermostatic expansion valve for automotive air conditioner are investigated experimentally. Heat transfer characteristics in the evaporator are examined by means of air temperature, relative humidity, air volume flow, outlet refrigerant pressure and superheat, and heat transfer characteristics in the condenser are examined by means of air temperature, air velocity and inlet refrigerant pressure. Pressure drops for both evaporator and condenser are measured arid empirical correlations are derived. Volumetric efficiencies and isentropic efficiencies for trio types of compressors with different capacity are measured and compared. Thermostatic expansion valve is tested to investigate the pressure variation according to temperature changes.

  • This study deals with a resonant converter of an anti-start air conditioner compressor for commercial vehicles. The anti-start air conditioner compressor must generally have a high current, high efficiency, a low volume, and a low weight. To reduce the switching losses and voltage and current stresses of the device, the anti-start air conditioner compressor applies the full-bridge L-C resonant converter topology. Hardware parameters are designed to have a wide voltage range, and the switching frequency range of the L-C resonant converter is determined. Simulation is implemented using PSIM and an experiment is performed to verify the proposed converter.

자동차 엔진냉각계의 해석 프로그램의 개발 (Development of Simulation Program of Automotive Engine Cooling System)

  • A numerical program has been developed for the simulation of automotive engine cooling system. The program determines the mass flow rate of engine coolant circulating the engine cooling system and radiator cooling air when the engine speed is adopted by appropriate empirical correlation. The program used the method of thermal balance at individual element through the model for radiator component in radiator analysis. This study has developed the program that predicts the coolant mass flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures of each component in the engine cooling system (engine, transmission, radiator and oil cooler) in its state of thermal equilibrium. This study also combined the individual programs and united into the total performance analysis program of the engine cooling system operating at a constant vehicle speed. An air conditioner system is also included in this engine cooling system so that the condenser of the air conditioner faces the radiator. The effect of air conditioner to the cooling performance, e.g., radiator inlet temperature, of the radiator and engine system was examined. This study could make standards of design of radiator capacity using heat rejection with respect to the mass flow rate of cooling air. This study is intended to predict the performance of each component at design step or to simulate the system when specification of the component is modified, and to analyze the performance of the total vehicle engine cooling system.

자동차 에어컨용 평행류 응축기의 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of a Parallel Flow Condenser for Automotive Air Conditioners)

  • The new shape of louver-fin has been applied to a parallel flow condenser to enhance air-side heat transfer rate lot an automotive air-conditioner R- l34a is employed as a refrigerant inside the flat tube of the condenser, This problem is of particular interest in reducing the geometric size of the automotive air conditioner The effect of air flow rate on pressure drop as well as heat transfer in air side are studied in detail. Comparison of the performance is also made with that of a conventional parallel flow condenser, which is available in the market. The results obtained indicate that the total pressure drop through the pre sent condenser is not changed, while the heat transfer rate is increased by 24% at high veto city of air flow, compared with those of the conventional condenser. The parallel flow condenser with a new shape of louver-fin could be reduced in size by 20% for the equivalent condenser capacity, compared with the conventional parallel flow condenser.

  • 자동차의 유지보수 및 수리를 위한 장비에서 환경오염에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있음에도 불구하고, 국내 자동차 공조시스템에 대한 대부분의 이러한 장비는 환경오염에 대해 무관심뿐만 아니라 그 기능도 뒤떨어진 것이 사실이다. 이 논문에서는 자동차 공조시스템의 냉매의 회수 및 재충전을 위한 모니터링 기술과 진단 시스템을 개발하였다. 이러한 개발된 기술과 시스템은 냉매상태의 정확한 진단과 모니터링을 통하여 자동차 공조시스템에 정확한 냉매량을 충전가능하게 해준다. 또한 이러한 기술은 주변 온도에 따라서 냉매의 회수압력을 조절함으로서 냉매의 회수와 충전에 대한 정확한 제어를 가능하게 해준다.
