자동차용 소리, 진동 차단성 소재기술 (Materials Technology for Car Sound and Vibration Barriers)

  • 최근 자동차 산업의 발전과 더불어 수요자의 요구가 다양화, 고급화됨에 따라 차량의 흡/차음에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하고 있다. 일반적으로 차내의 소음과 진동을 줄일 수 있도록 하기 위하여 섬유재료(펠트, 유리섬유), 폴리우레탄 foam, PET 섬유재료 등과 같은 소음진동 흡수재료를 사용되고 있다. 이러한 소음 진동을 위한 흡/차음재료들은 자동차에 장착되어 다양한 부분에서 발생하는 소음 및 진동을 차단하여 쾌적한 승차감을 주는 주요한 부품으로 자리잡고 있다. 또한, 차량의 소음 진동 제거를 위한 자동차용 흡/차음재료의 요구는 최근들어 더욱 높아지고 있으며 소음 진동 저감 이외에 연비개선을 위한 경량화, 비용절감 등도 함께 고려되고 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 자동차 내장 흡/차음재료의 필요성과 더불어 관련기술에 대하여 중심으로 살펴보도록 하겠다.

  • In this study, the survival rate of fiber is investigated by nozzle size difference in injection/mold sides. The survival rate of fiber is influenced about the nozzle size differ. Also, The mechanical properties of short carbon glass fiber reinforced polypropylene are experimentally measured as functions of fiber volume fraction and nozzle size difference. These mechanical properties are compared with the survival rate of fiber and fiber volume fraction using image analysis after pyrolytic decomposition. The survival rate of fiber as well as fiber volume fraction is influenced by injection processing condition, the used materials, mold conditions and nozzle sides difference, etc, In particular, the survival rate of fiber is great influenced when injection/mold nozzle sides are different more than that of the same. Consequently, the mechanical properties of short carbon/glass fiber reinforced polypropylene arc improved as the nozzle sides are the same in injection mold sides.

자동차 폐유리 분말을 이용한 팽창유리 소화약제의 제조 (Manufacturing of Extinguishing Powder of Expanded Glass from Recycling Automotive Glass Powder)

  • 본 연구에서 폐차 처리되는 자동차 유리 중 일반 강화유리 즉 윈도우 유리를 사용하여 균일한 품질의 팽창유리 제조 기술을 확보하고, 제조된 팽창유리가 리튬배터리 화재 진압용으로서 활용이 가능한지 검증하였다. 폐유리를 활용하여 팽창유리룰 제조하는 공정은 크게 폐유리 파쇄(Crushing) → 분쇄 (Milling)→ 구상화(Granulation) → 발포(Expansion) → 냉각(Cooling)으로 구분하며, 최종으로 팽창유리의 입자크기 1~4 ø mm가 80 % 이상의 수율이 나오는 최적 조건을 얻기 위해 실험을 수차례 수행하였다. 폐유리와 발포제의 배합량과 공정 조건에 따라 기공의 형태, 겉보기 비중, 표면적, 흡수율, 흡착율, 기공율 및 안전성 등을 분석하였다. 기공의 형태는 SEM 표면 분석을 통해 이루어 졌으며, 겉보기 비중, 흡수율, 흡착율 및 기공율은 표준 시험법에 따라 하였고 안전성은 8대 중금속 분석과 X-ray 회절 분석을 통해 결정화가 있는지 여부를 확인하였다. 표면분석과 물성치를 비교하여 배터리용 소화약제로서 더 적합한 sample을 선정하여, 고부가가치의 활용이 가능한 리튬 배터리 화재의 적응성 시험결과 만족한 것으로 확인되었다.

Efficiency of plastic master cylinder can modularize higher, light weight anger of parts, several piece parts by single parts, prove NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) than aluminum master cylinder as analysis result. Also, structure is easy simplicity, exchange, maintenance costs can be reduced and decrease environmental pollution because recycling is superior. According as content of glass fiber increases, mechanical properties of matter of material increase equally and glass fiber changed variously by condition on manufacturing process. Through comparison analysis with Plastic Body development connection site, did verification.

광도파관 외부산란광을 이용한 우적감지 센서 (Rain Sensor using Scattered Light Outside Waveguide)

  • 차량의 윈드실드 유리 외면에서의 빗방울에 의한 산란광을 수신하여 빗방울 존재 유무를 판별하는 우적감지 센서를 제안한다. 기존의 윈드실드 유리를 광도파관으로 이용하는 우적감지 센서는 신호광을 윈드실드 유리 내부로 주입하기 위하여 정밀한 광학계를 필요로 하며 외부 진동이나 충격에 의해 광결합률에 영향을 주어 오작동되는 경우가 있었다. 제안하는 광도파관 외부에 존재하는 빗방울에 의한 산란광을 이용하는 우적감지 센서는 광도파관 내부에 신호광을 주입할 필요가 없으므로 별도의 광학계가 필요 없으며 외부 충격이나 진동의 영향을 받지 않는 장점이 있다. 스프레이어를 이용한 가상강우 환경에서, 제작된 광도파관 외부 산란광을 이용한 우적감지 센서에 대한 실험결과는 빗방울뿐만 아니라 안개와 같은 미세한 입자에도 반응하여 차량용 우적감지 센서로 이용할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주었다.

  • Today, carbon fibers are used as heating elements. Carbon fibers are generally used to reinforce composite materials because they are lightweight and have a high strength and modulus. Carbon fiber reinforced composite materials are used for aerospace, automobile, and wind turbine blade applications. This work explored the possibility of using carbon fiber reinforced composite materials as self heating materials. The temperatures of the carbon fiber reinforced composites were measured. These results verified that the carbon fiber reinforced composite materials could be used as heating elements. A glass fiber was laminated using various methods. The thermal characteristics of the composites were evaluated. This confirmed that the generation of heat varied according to the lamination thicknesses of the carbon fiber and glass fiber. As the number of carbon fiber laminations increased, the heat-generating temperature increased. In contrast, as the number of glass fiber laminations increased, the amount of heat decreased. The generation of heat and ability to remain warm could be controlled by controlling the carbon fiber and glass fiber laminations.

  • Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a well-known super engineering plastic with a high melting temperature (above 290℃). It is generally insoluble under regular conditions. Therefore, it can be used for replacing metallic materials. Many researchers are looking at the possibility of replacing aluminum in the engine compartment of an automobile. However, studies on PPS are not common as compared to conventional engineering plastics because only a few companies produce super engineering plastics. In this research, the material properties of PPS composites containing two different kinds of glass fibers and produced under different processing temperatures were investigated. The tensile strength of the PPS composites increased as the processing temperature increased. Although glass fibers with similar aspect ratios were compounded under the same processing condition, one of them yielded a higher mechanical strength.

수치해석을 통한 자동차 전면유리 제상성능 제어인자 연구 (Numerical Study on Control Factors of Defrosting Performance for Automobile Windshield Glass in Winter)

  • Recently, much attention has been paid in the field of defrosting because clear windshield in vehicle without effecting the thermal comfort is realized essentially. Then in winter, defrosting performance is one of the important factors in vehicle design to make certain driver's view. In this study, the velocity profile, temperature distribution and frost melting pattern on the windshield screen have been predicted in three dimensional geometry of an automobile interior. Numerical analyses predict a detailed description of fluid flow and temperature patterns on the inside windshield screen, utilizing the flow through defroster nozzle. Numerical prediction established a good defrosting performance with the standard distance ratio and the defroster nozzle angle ranging from $30^{\circ}$ to $40^{\circ}$, which satisfy the condition of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) completely.

  • An automobile outside rear view mirror system has been analyzed and designed to reduce vibration with a finite element model. model analysis is conducted for the calculation of natural frequencies. harmonic analysis is utilized to estimate the displacements of the glass surface under dynamic loads. The model is verified with the vibration experiment of the parts and the assembled body. The structure of the mirror system is optimized for the robustness defined by the Taguchi concept. At first, many potential design variables are defined. Final design variables are selected based on the amount of contribution on the objective function. That is, sensitive variables are chose. The SN ratio in the Taguchi method is replaced by an objective function with the mean and the standard deviation of the quality characteristic. The defined objective function is appropriate in the structural design in that the vibration displacements are minimized while the robustness is improved.
