  • Recently, factory automation and shop floor control system need a web based remote monitoring technology to control effectively machine tool. This paper describes a web based remote monitoring system which is concerned with open architecture controller for machine tool. The environment of this system consists of a lot of elements such as web server, database, machine tool, pc based controller, client computers and script programs, also which is interconnected by network including intranet or internet. Designed script programs, also which is interconnected by network including intranet or internet. Designed script program service current status and faults information of machine to remote users who want to monitor machine tool. Additionally those have various functions to service we board for q&a, downloading data and information of after-service managers.

  • RMQC, rail mounted quay crane, lifts and moves large container by means of hoist and trolley motion on the dock. Our company is trying to develop advanced RMQC applying the concepts of elevator hoist and container conveyer for the automation and high efficiency in handling the boxes. Prior to the development of new products, it is necessary to check the capacity of conventional crane for reference. The program simulates container-handling rates and gives some design factors for the conventional cranes.

  • In this study, computer program for the optimum design of agricultural aqueduct tunnel was developed. It was shown that even though the starting points and optimization method are different, the objective function and optimum design variables converge to a value within a close range respectively, and consequently the optimum design program developed in this study is reliable and robust. 3D-design drawing can be drawn using automation design computer program developed in this study

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented using embedded Linux. The external equipment is controlled via HTTP protocol and web browser program. HTTP protocol is ported into Linux. A micro web server program and external equipment control program are installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser. Experimental result of the proposed web based monitoring systems can be used in automation systems and remote distributed control via internet using web browser.

  • This study employed the perturbation method, the Edgeworth series, the reliability optimization, the reliability sensitivity technique and the robust design to present a practical and effective approach for the robust reliability design of vehicle components with arbitrary distribution parameters on the condition of known first four moments of original random variables. The theoretical formulae of the robust reliability design for vehicle components with arbitrary distribution parameters are obtained. The reliability sensitivity is added to the reliability optimization design model and the robust reliability design is described as a multi-objection optimization. On the condition of known first four moments of original random variables, the respective program can be used to obtain the robust reliability design parameters of vehicle components with arbitrary distribution parameters accurately and quickly.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a automation for decision of the optimum stories in apartment buildings in order to assure the solar access right for neighboring areas. Compared to the results of the optimum stories by manual process through applying a legal case over solar access right, the proposed method provides more improved and expanded information by automating the computing process of decision of the optimum stories in apartment buildings. With the result of this research, it would be possible to furnish with advanced information for an amicable settlement against the civil petition and disputes, to reduce waste of the time and cost and to improve the efficiency of solar access right analysis works.

  • The new distribution automation system was developed in KEPCO just recently. This system has many functions for remote control and data acquisition but it has not all functions for the full automated distribution system.   • As the trend of the automation is increasing, the usage of the programmable automation equipments like programmable controller(PC), numerical controller(NC), distributed control systems(DCS) and robot controller is greatly expanding in the area of the industrial equipments. But the development of the programing language for the programmable automatic equipment is rarely accomplished. In this paper, we propose design and implementation technique of the real-time mechanism control language by adding time constraint constructs and timing analysis constructs ot conditional statement and iteration statement of a programming language. Moreover, we made it possible to predict plausibility of time constraint constructs of a real time application program at compilation time and developing execution time analysiss technique.
