  • 본 논문은 유전자 알고리듬을 이용하여 자동차 부품인 자동변속레버의 최적 설계 방법론에 대한 연구이다. 현재 업계에서의 자동변속레버는 구성 부품들을 순서적으로 설계하고 있으나, 본 연구에서는 구성 부품들의 설계 파라미터들을 동시에 고려하여 설계할 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 제안한다. 유전자 알고리듬 접근방법은 자동변속레버의 최적 설계 파라미터 집합을 결정하기 위해 적용된다. 본 연구에서는 자동변속레버의 구성 부품들로 구성된 제약조건하에 디텐트 스프링의 각 변위를 최소화하는 목적함수를 가지는 설계 문제를 모델링하였고, 유전자 알고리듬을 적용하여 최적 설계를 수행하였다.

도로시설물 관리를 위한 교통안전표지 인식 및 자동위치 취득 방법 연구 (The Road Traffic Sign Recognition and Automatic Positioning for Road Facility Management)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to develop a road traffic sign recognition and automatic positioning for road facility management. METHODS: In this study, we installed the GPS, IMU, DMI, camera, laser sensor on the van and surveyed the car position, fore-sight image, point cloud of traffic signs. To insert automatic position of traffic sign, the automatic traffic sign recognition S/W developed and it can log the traffic sign type and approximate position, this study suggests a methodology to transform the laser point-cloud to the map coordinate system with the 3D axis rotation algorithm. RESULTS: Result show that on a clear day, traffic sign recognition ratio is 92.98%, and on cloudy day recognition ratio is 80.58%. To insert exact traffic sign position. This study examined the point difference with the road surveying results. The result RMSE is 0.227m and average is 1.51m which is the GPS positioning error. Including these error we can insert the traffic sign position within 1.51m CONCLUSIONS: As a result of this study, we can automatically survey the traffic sign type, position data of the traffic sign position error and analysis the road safety, speed limit consistency, which can be used in traffic sign DB.

  • 본 논문에서 운용자의 지속적인 작업 없이 휴대용탐지장치의 기능 및 성능시험을 원격으로 수행하기 위한 무인자동화시험시스템의 설계 개선을 위해 TRIZ 방법론의 기술적 진화법칙(TESE, Trends of Engineering System Evolution)을 적용한 방안을 제안한다. 시험에 소요되는 시간과 비용을 고려하여 휴대용탐지장치 한 대당 소요되는 시간 비용을 최소화하고 한번 시험시 최대한 많은 수의 휴대용탐지장치를 시험할 수 있도록 개선된 효율적인 설계 개발 방안을 도출한다. 또한 설계된 구조와 개선된 설계 구조에 대한 3D 모델링 형상을 설계하여 설계 개선 전과 후의 무인자동화시험시스템을 비교한다. 여기서 제안된 방안을 적용한 무인자동화시험시스템은 기존 시험시스템의 여러 가지 단점들을 해결함으로써 이상성을 높이고 휴대용탐지장치의 기능 및 성능시험 효율을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Method for Automatic Generation of OWL-S Service Ontology

  • We present in this paper the methodology for automatic generation of OWL-S service model ontology along with the results and issues. First, we extract information related to atomic services and their properties such as IOPE from the UML class diagram, and retrieve information related to the composition of services from the UML state-chart diagram. Then, the XSLT applications utilize the acquired information to generate the OWL-S service model ontology through the predefined mappings between OWL-S constructs for composite services and UML state-chart primitives. For the justification of generated service ontology, several validation checks are performed. Our service ontology generation method is general and fully automatic, as well as effective, in that it is achieved in an environment familiar to developers, and information needed to generate service ontology is provided necessarily during service development. It is also noticeable to facilitate representing the condition with GUI rather than a complex language such as OCL.

  • An autonomous tractor requires not only automatic steering (automatic guidance) but also automated control of tractor functions and implement operations. Examples of tractor functions include engine throttle, transmission speed, and 3-point hitch position. Implement operations include tillage, planting, and cultivating. This article provides an overview of a map-based methodology used for the implementation of autonomous field operations of agricultural tractors. The procedure for developing autonomous field operation maps were presented, and several important issues in the implementation of map-based autonomous operations were discussed. These issues included combining field operation maps, position offset, and real-time sensing and update of field operation maps.

  • The automatic seismic trip system (ASTS) continuously monitors PGA (peak ground acceleration) from the seismic wave, and automatically generates a trip signal. This work presents how the system can be designed by using a systems engineering approach under the given regulatory criteria. Overall design stages, from the needs analysis to design verification, have been executed under the defined processes and activities. Moreover, this work contributes two significant design areas for digitalized ASTS. These are firstly, how to categorize the ASTS if the ASTS has a backed up function of the manual reactor trip, and secondly, how to set the requirements using the given design practices either in overseas ASTS design or similar design. In addition, the methodology for determining the setpoint can be applied to the I&C design and development project which needs to justify the error sources correctly. The systematic approach that has been developed and realized in this work can be utilized in designing new I&C (instrument and control system) as well.

  • 선박의 자동식별 시스템(Automatic Identification System(AIS))은 다중접속 방법으로서 SOTDMA를 채택하고 있다. SOTDMA 시스템은 Aloha 영역에서 슬롯 재사용으로부터 기인하는 Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying(GMSK) Co-Channel Interference(CCI)에 의해서 시스템 성능이 저하된다 이 논문에서는 CCI를 제거할 수 있는 여러 가지 방법을 소개하고 비교 분석하여 향후 선박의 자동식별 시스템에 적용 가능한 CCI 제거기법 개발 방안에 대해서 논하도록 하겠다.

보일러 플랜트의 자동 Shutdown 시스템을 위한 지식표현 (Knowledge Representation for the Automatic Shutdown System in Boiler Plants)

  • Shutdown of boiler plants is a dynamic, complicated, and hazardous operation. Operational error is a major contributor to danserous situations during boiler plant shutdowns. It is important to develop an automatic system which synthesizes operating procedures to safely go from normal operation to complete shutdown. Knowledge representation for automatic shutdown of boiler plants makes use of the hierarchical, rule-based framework for heuristic knowledge, the semantic network, frame for process topology, and AI techniques such as rule matching, forward chaining, backward chaining, and searching. This knowledge representation and modeling account for the operational states, primitive operation devices, effects of their application, and planning methodology. Also, this is designed to automatically formulate subgoals, search for positive operation devices, formulate constraints, and synthesize shutdown procedures in boiler plants.

신경회로망을 이용한 조합 논리회로의 테스트 생성 (Test Generation for Combinational Logic Circuits Using Neural Networks)

  • This paper proposes a new test pattern generation methodology for combinational logic circuits using neural networks based on a modular structure. The CUT (Circuit Under Test) is described in our gate level hardware description language. By conferring neural database, the CUT is compiled to an ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation) neural network. Each logic gate in CUT is represented as a discrete Hopfield network. Such a neual network is called a gate module in this paper. All the gate modules for a CUT form an ATPG neural network by connecting each module through message passing paths by which the states of modules are transferred to their adjacent modules. A fault is injected by setting the activation values of some neurons at given values and by invalidating connections between some gate modules. A test pattern for an injected fault is obtained when all gate modules in the ATPG neural network are stabilized through evolution and mutual interactions. The proposed methodology is efficient for test generation, known to be NP-complete, through its massive paralelism. Some results on combinational logic circuits confirm the feasibility of the proposed methodology.

대용량 OWL 온톨로지 자동구축을 위한 세종전자사전 활용 방법론 연구 (A Study of Methodology for Automatic Construction of OWL Ontologies from Sejong Electronic Dictionary)

  • Ontology is an indispensable component in intelligent and semantic processing of knowledge and information, such as in semantic web. However, ontology construction requires vast amount of data collection and arduous efforts in processing these un-structured data. This study proposed a methodology to automatically construct and generate ontologies from Sejong Electronic Dictionary. As Sejong Electronic Dictionary is structured in XML format, it can be processed automatically by computer programmed tools into an OWL(Web Ontology Language)-based ontologies as specified in W3C . This paper presents the process and concrete application of this methodology.
