  • By applying METHOD 514.8 of the US military standard MIL-STD-810H, vibration analysis of the winding core automatic feeding device was performed during vehicle transportation. The contact point between the LM guide and main support frame was weak in the vertical axis, transverse axis, and longitudinal axis during the transportation of the automatic winding core feeder vehicle, and the maximum equivalent stress was 236.31 MPa in the longitudinal axis. When random vibration was applied, the safety margin in the longitudinal direction was 0.26, indicating low safety. The safety margin was changed by increasing the damage factor to 0.1. Finally, the safety margin was improved to 3.48 to secure safety. Resonance occurred with a Q factor of 9.34 in the harmonic response to which the RMS value of the ASD data was input, and the vertical axis safety margin was derived as 0.16. When the damping factor was 0.15, the Q factor was 3.37, and resonance was avoided with a safety margin of 6.62.

  • Controller refinement scheme to improve the performance of a conventional system automatically in frequency domain is proposed. The controller automatic tuning method features using experimental frequency responses of the conventional closed-loop system, the conventional controller, and the improved closed-Imp system; instead of poorly modeled plant due to non-linearities and disturbances. The improved closed-loop system characteristics is automatically acquired by the conventional closed-loop system characteristics and the proposed performance index in system bandwidth. And the proper controller is realized by least squares approximation in frequency domain. To testify the usefulness of the approach, experimental results of robot path-tracking control applied with various controllers is used, and then is analyzed with respect to a equivalent proportional controller. Experimental results and analytic results are well-matched.

  • The automatic diameter control system of the Crystal Grower has a good performance with only PD control. But it contained the integrator the plant which has a long time delay. In this paper. we show the secondary approximate model and applies time delay controller which is good performance for in the long time delay plant. It will be able to improve the response characteristic against a standard input and a load disturbance.

  • The effect of alpha$_1$-adrenergic stimulation on cardiac automaticity changes during myocardial development. To illustrate, in isolated tissues from the mature canine heart, alpha$_1$-adrenergic stimulation usually induces a decrease in automatic rate. On the other hand, many early neonatal fibers exhibit an increase in automatic rate In response to alpha$_1$-agonists, which is not seen in the adult.

  • Dynamic stability and behavior are analyzed fur Pendulum Automatic Dynamic Balancer which is a device to reduce an unbalanced mass of rotors. The nonlinear equations of motion for a system including a Pendulum Balancer are derived with respect to polar coordinate by Lagrange's equations. The perturbation method is applied to find the equilibrium positions and to obtain the linear variation equations. Based on linearized equations, the dynamic stability of the system around the equilibrium positions is investigated by the eigenvalue problem. (omitted)

  • In harvesting rice and barley using combine, the inclination of the body caused by the irregular surface condition of the field and the soil sinking from the unbalanced weight during the grain collection used to make harvesting operation difficult and even impossible. To overcome such a problem, automatic leveling control system for a combine has been developed and tested. The system was composed of the sensor for measuring left and right inclination of the combine chassis and the hydraulic control system. The adaptability of the control system was investigated by analyzing system response in time domain. And the limit angle of the leveling control was set up to be +/- 7$^{\circ}$. The proposed control and hydraulic power system was implemented to the prototype combine. The prototype combine was designed and built as a separable structure with chassis and track. This paper shows results of the leveling performance tested in the laboratory and the grain field.

  • An automatic point traffic control method is recommended for more idealistic traffic flow over coarse road netowrks. The automatic control apparatus recommended, consists of a transceiver, amplifier, digital-to-analog converter, signal light controller for emergency and steady state, and digital counter as monitor. The transmitter sends a signal to the target vy means of Microwave-FM-CW and a diode detector picks up the echo signal. Thus the operation of the entire system will be carried out through an open loop state. Some factors necessary for an ideal detector system are rapid response, longevity and stability. An analytical method of the Doppler effect substitutes the conventional frequency deviation into the amplitude of detector output. The changing rate of amplitude is proportional to the voltage of the detector output. Some induced formula from Maxwell's radiation field theory ensures this new method, and, new method, and proves the fact with an experimental data presentation. Stability depends upon Klystron as an oscillator and a diode as a detector. the transceiver installation affects on the response and sensitivity of the system. In accordance with the detector output, several targets are easily classified by amplitudes on the scope. The traffic flow, i.e., target movement which is analyzed by the amplitude method, is shown through the scope and indicates it on the digital counter. The best efficiency for the amplitude analysis can be attained through use of an antenna having the highest sensitivity.

  • A performance index is very important and indispensable to the evaluation of automatic steering system of ships in open sea from the viewpoint of energy saving. In this paper, we derive the performance index of automatic steering system from the concept of energy loss of propulsive power. The index is found to consist of three terms, energy loss due to elongation of sailing distance, energy loss due to steering, and energy loss due to yawing motion. We also provide two kinds of calculation method on the performance index ; frequency response analysis and digital simulation. The numerical calculations are carried out for an ore carrier and a fishing boat by both methods. The frequency response analysis is found to be useful if the system is linear and the disturbance on ship is not large. If the system is nonlinear or the disturbance is excessive, the method of digital simulation has to be applied for the accurate evaluation of the performance index. Further investigations into the effects of nonlinear elements such as weather adjuster, power unit etc. on the performance index, will be dealt with in another paper.

  • There are many factors that influence the image quality of CMOS camera images, among which the image exposure time is an important factor. If the image exposure time is long, the entire image on the screen becomes brighter. If the exposure time is shorter, the entire image becomes darker. When photographing a still image, real time is not required because the automatic exposure system is given sufficient time to obtain an appropriate exposure time. However, if the surroundings and environment change rapidly like the black box of a driving car, the exposure time should be applied in response to real time. To this end, a robust automatic exposure system for real-time performance and ambient light environment is required. An automatic exposure system that has real-time capability and is robust against the ambient light environment is required. we designed a real-time control sysem capable of parallel operation processing through the design of an embedded system using zynq's logic and ARM core, and developed a real-time CMOS automatic exposure system that is robust to noise and converges to a desired target value within 66 ms through PID control.

  • We designed and implemented a fork-type automatic guided vehicle (AGV) with a laser guidance system. Most previous AGVs have used two types of guidance systems: magnetgyro and wire guidance. However, these guidance systems have high costs, are difficult to maintain with changes in the operating environment, and can drive only a pre-determined path with installed sensors. A laser guidance system was developed for addressing these issues, but limitations including slow response time and low accuracy remain. We present a laser guidance system and control system for AGVs with laser navigation. For analyzing the performance of the proposed system, we designed and built a fork-type AGV, and performed repetitions of our experiments under the same working conditions. The results show an average positioning error of 51.76 mm between the simulated driving path and the driving path of the actual fork-type AGV. Consequently, we verified that the proposed method is effective and suitable for use in actual AGVs.
