사물인터넷 환경에서 자율주행 기반의 주요국 드론 특성 비교/분석 (Comparison & Analysis of Drones in Major Countries based on Self-Driving in IoT Environment)

  • 전통적인 산업 분야인 자동차 산업에서 나타나는 두드러진 변화의 모습은 자동차를 운행시에 사람이 중심이었다면 이제는 다양한 편의 기능 및 자동 주행 혹은 자율 주행 기술로 인하여 점점 사람 이 아닌 자율기능 중심으로 이동하는 모습으로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 상황은 항공 산업 및 드론 시장을 비롯하여 로봇 시장 등 다양한 산업 분야로 확대되어 가고 있다. 항공 산업 중 드론 시장은 드론 운영의 무인 특성으로 인하여 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 그중에서 군사용 드론은 은밀하고 기술의 특수성으로 인하여 자세한 사항들이 공개되지 못하고 있으나, 첨단 기술들의 집합체로서 드론 개발의 핵심 역할을 수행하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 드론 분야의 주요 경쟁국인 미국을 비롯한 중국, 유럽연합의 현 상황을 알아보고, 현재 운영 중인 드론들의 특성 및 운영 제원 등을 통하여 주요국에 대한 기술 등을 상호 비교, 분석하였다.

마이크로 치형수정이 선회가공 유닛 구동기어의 동력전달 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on Effect of Micro Tooth Shape Modification on Power Transmission Characteristics based on the Driving Gear of Rotating Machining Unit)

  • Rotating machining unit is a revolutionary product that can process worm shaft or spiral shaft with fast and precise, a rotary type cutting tool, which is attached to automatic lathe and processes spiral groove on outer circumference of round bar. In this work, a study on micro tooth shape modification method of driving gear train in the rotating machining unit was presented. To observe the effect on power transmission characteristics of the driving gear pair, visualize the gear meshing condition and the load distribution on the gear teeth by using the professional gear train analysis program RomaxDesigner. By comparing the repeated analysis results, the effect of micro tooth shape modification on power transmission characteristics on driving gear can be summarized. The optimized gears were fabricated and measured by precision tester as a validation in this research.

  • The CBTC(Communication Based Train Control) system, a recent train control system, is a wireless communication based train control system that is operated in the moving block system control by tracking trains in real time. In additioin, the system helps to increase the volume of traffic by shortening driving headways through controlling moving block system control. Furthermore, driverless modes are performed by controlling ATP(Automatic Train Protection)/ATO(Automatic Train Operation). In this paper, controllable elements in ATO driverless train control system, affecting comfortable ride, will be analysed and applied to CBTC train control system that developed by POSCO ICT. Finally, the test results of improved comfortable ride will be showed by appling the developed system to the Gyeong-san light rail transit test track.

Evaluation of Comfortable Improvement of the Tractor Seatbelt

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the convenience of the tractor seatbelt. We selected four healthy men as subjects. We measured their body pressure and examined the comfort of the seatbelt, while driving 50m on three different types of agricultural road with two types of seatbelts: automatic and manual. As results, when they used manual seatbelt, subjective uncomfortable rate was much higher than the automatic seatbelt on all types of road. Especially, body pressure was undistributed while using manual seatbelt on rough road.

  • Driving the need for machine vision system is growing consumer demand for quality and defect-free products. Especially it is the most important in tarpaulin's manufacturing process achieves automatically by machine vision instead of by man vision. In this paper pinholes detection is performed by using morphology algorithms. Top hat transform is one of morphology applications. This transform take high performance of defect detection in the case that unexpected changes occur in some non-uniform background. For pinholes defect, automatic visual inspection system has been developed, which was composed by a line-scan camera, illumination, a frame grabber, a motor driver and control units. This system has excellent capacity to defect pinholes to the 0.1 mm by 0.5 mm in size and to work in moving objects by maximum 20 m/min in speed.

  • 국내 동적 환경에 대한 감성 연구는 아직 미흡한 상태다. 본 연구는 자동차의 운전자세에 관해 연구하였다. 왼발을 사용하지 않는 A/T(Automatic Transmission) 차량과 두 발을 모두 사용하는 M/T(Manual Transmission) 차량의 운전자세 차이를 Position tracking sensor를 통해 측정하였으며, 각 차량에 따른 운전자들의 감성을 비교 및 분석하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 피험자들은 운전면허 소지자로 운전 경험이 있는 남자 대학생 및 대학원생이 참여하였으며, 운전자세를 분석해 본 결과 A/T 차량이 M/T 차량의 경우보다 Seat가 더 뒤로 위치하였고, 두 차량의 운전자세에서 무릎관절의 각도에 많은 차이가 났다. 또, 신체 각 부위 관절의 위치나 모양도 조금씩 다르게 측정되었다. A/T 차량과 M/T 차량의 운전자세에 따른 감성 평가는 동적 환경의 감성 연구에 도움이 될 것이다.

  • In this paper, an automatic pipe-cutting machine that uses magnet to attach itself to pipe and performs unmanned cutting process is proposed. The machine uses magnetic force to prevent slip and to attach the machine to the pipe against gravity. The magnetic force is adjustable by changing the gap between the magnet and the pipe. During pipe cutting process, the gravity acting on the pipe-cutting machine widely varies nonlinearly where the gravity is function of climbing angle of the cutting machine along the pipe.   • In this research, the automatic level measurement system used in land leveling was developed. By using a laser transmitter and a receiver as measuring equipments, level was measured automatically. The driving part of this system was composed of stepping motor, timing belt and pulley. It drived the laser receiver to track laser beam generated form the laser transmitter. The level measuring experiments were performed about three level change shapes (step, random, sine). This system could measure step level change of which amplitude was 40mm in 0.5s, random level change within .+-. mm, maximum measurement error. In case of sine level change, experiment was executed with varying the spatial frequency of level change. As a result, this system was able to measure sine level change of which spatial frequency was 0.5m $^{-1}$ accurately.

  • This paper describes the method of how to improve the probability of the tracing stopping ratio which is the most important factor in Automatic Train Operation (ATO). Aspects of improving the performance of automatic driving, the followings are investigated and studied : Brake system maintanence method of vehicle, the need to improve braking system, test method of blending brakes, how to minimize the delay of commands for real-time control. In this study, we applied this method to prove the effectiveness in DAEJEON LINE1.

  • The bundling process is the final step in vegetable manufacturing, however, the process is a little difficult to be automatized, because vegetable has the physical properties of roughness, softness, and fragility etc. In this paper, we proposed an automatic bundling mechanism for vegetable based on the heat melt sticking. The proposed mechanism consists of three modules, one module is the moving part for aligning of the vegetable shape and adjusting of the vegetable tension, second module is the arm driving part for the vegetable binding and the band roll releasing, and third module is band joining, band cutting, and band feeding part for the vegetable binding continuously. Through this research, Using the SMO(SimDesigner Motion) module, we optimize condition of mechanical movement of the bundling mechanism. This bundling system designed in order to binding 288 bundle/hour.
