  • This paper focuses on a performance analysis model for optimizing the freight terminal design and layout using AutoMod simulator and numerical analysis. We developed a model to analyze the freiht terminal performance per unit time and the material handling cost based on both throughput and waiting due to conjestion. We developed computer program for this model and some sample results by both numerical method and AutoMod simulator are compared.

  • The automated chemical analysis shop floor are developed for the environmental pollution problems in our chemical analysis center. This shop floor have the several equipments include weight, pour, dry, heater, boiler, mixture, spectroscopy etc. And the material handling components are made up by the stored stack, conveyore, turntables, robot etc. Computer simulation has been an important tool for these complete design problem. We have designed the arangement of chemical equipments and material flow systems by using the simulator "AutoModII". "AutoMoII" is one of the advanced simulator, CAD-like drawing tools with a powerful, engineering oriented language to model control logic and material flow. The result is the modeling of the chemical analysis system in accurate, three dimensional detail. We could designed the set able layout and scheduling system by using the AutoMoII simulator. Simulation Software for Semiconductor Photolithography Equipment: TrackSim (반도체 포토 장비의 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어: TrackSim)

  • This paper describes the development of the TrackSim, which is a discrete event simulation tool for photolithography equipment of semiconductor industry. The TrackSim is focused on the accurate simulation model of the photolithography equipment and easy-to-use user interfaces. TrackSim provides 3D simulation environment for evaluating, validating, and scheduling the photolithography process. One of the major characteristics of TrackSim is in that it is developed based on Applied Materials' AutoMod, a discrete event simulation software broadly used in semiconductor industry. Accordingly, the photolithography model of TrackSim can be used to perform simulation connected with other simulation models built with AutoMod.

  • This paper deals with planning of order-picking warehouse considering the batch order picking for transportation equipments to pick consumers' orders at a time among order-picking methods and a systematic approach method in order to analyze the order-picking warehouse which can perform optimal operation. To estimate an operating time of transportation equipments to carry out order-picking, this paper suggests three operations : first, to design the refrigerated warehouse using warehouse design parameters, second, to calculate the travel time of transporters considering four types of times with the probabilistic picking frequency, and third, to analyze an order-picking warehouse to construct a simulation model with the AutoMod as a simulation tool. We apply this model to a refrigerated warehouse company in Busan.

  • 최근의 물류센터의 설계 및 운영에서 재고품목의 피킹-재보충(Picking and Replenishing)방법이 물류센터의 능력에 크게 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구는 물류센터의 최적운영을 고려한 저장설비의 능력산정을 위하여 피킹지역(Forward Area)과 저장지역(Reserve Area)을 동시에 고려한 저장설비의 능력산정모델 연구이다. 이를 위하여 물류센터 내의소 단위화물의 피킹지역과 대단위 보충 화물을 저장하는 재보충지역으로 구분하고 동일 운송설비로 피킹 및 재보충 방법에 따른 설비능력을 산정하기 위해 수리모델을 개발하고 AutoMod Simulator를 이용한 다양한 분석연구를 하였다. 그리고 이를 위한 전산프로그램을 개발하고 A냉장물류회사에 적용하여 저장시설의 능력산정결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 단위화물의 보관 및 판매를 위한 물류설비 계획에 활용될 수 있도록 보완 연구될 것이다.

  • Recent studies among various activities taking place in order-picking warehouse system have shown various researches to reduce the order-picking costs occupying more than half the total costs. One way of improving the warehouse system performance is to separate from a picking area and a reserve area in one unit rack. This study is concerned on the performance evaluation model for picking and replenishing facility of refrigerated warehouse using simulation method. In this study, we developed a mathematical model to compute the system performance solve this problem using simulation method. We demonstrate the system performance using AutoMod Simulator and verify the results to compare mathematical results of the system performance of warehouse system. A systematic approach proposed n this study for an optimal planning of order-picking warehouse is known as an effective method for planning of order-picking warehouse and a performance evaluation problem considering both picking and replenishment.

  • 본 연구를 시물레이션방법을 이용한 실린더 헤드라인 생산설비의 적정계획 및 성능산정을 위해 가용한 생산설비의 자료들로부터 요구되는 생산능력을 만족하는 생산설비를 구성한다. 구성된 설비들은 가용한 생산설비 운영조건을 고려한 가상의 시물레이션 모델로 구축하여 생산설비의 적정 구성 및 공정간의 재고 등을 산정한다. 시스템 성능 산정을 위해 본 연구에서는 AutoMod 시물레이터를 이용하여 실린더 헤드라인의 생산설비계획 문제에 적용한다. 본 연구는 다수의 생산설비를 이용한 설비계획 연구시 사전 분석과 능력산정 및 기존의 설비 운영 조건에 따른 생산능력산정에 유용할 수 있으며 3차원 동영상으로 분석 결과를 제시할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 시뮬레이션방법을 이용한 가전회사 사내운송시스템 계획 및 적정 운송을 위한 사내운송시스템 시뮬레이션모델 개발에 관한 연구이다. 사내에서 운행되는 운송시스템 분석 및 적정운송시스템을 구축하기 위하여 기간내 차량운송방식, 배차계획 및 운송경로 등의 자료를 통한 사내물류에서 발생되는 예상정체구간 및 운송시스템의 성능을 산정하여 사내운송시 발생되는 물류비 개선을 주요 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 AutoMod 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 사내운송시스템을 구성하여 분석한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 사내운송시스템 시뮬레이션 모델은 사내운송시스템의 문제점 분석 및 개선 등을 통한 사내물류 정체률 감소 및 적정 운영대안을 제시함으로써 운송시스템의 효율성을 증대시켜 사내물류흐름 개선 및 물류비의 절감 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
