  • This paper focuses on a performance analysis model for optimizing the freight terminal design and layout using AutoMod simulator and numerical analysis. We developed a model to analyze the freiht terminal performance per unit time and the material handling cost based on both throughput and waiting due to conjestion. We developed computer program for this model and some sample results by both numerical method and AutoMod simulator are compared.

The auto regression model of bus fleet failure number

  • This paper uses the auto regression model to modeling failure number of a bus fleet. The fitted model can be used to predict the failure number in the future. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the modeling process and the appropriateness of the fitted model. At last, some possible applications of the model are discussed.

  • 인터넷 전화는 VoIP를 이용하는 전화 방식으로서 VoIP 단말이 인터넷에 연결되어 있다면 저렴한 요금과 다양한 부가서비스가 가능한 방식이다. 하지만 인터넷 전화를 관리하기 위한 시스템들은 대규모의 VoIP 서비스 사업자들이나 대기업에서의 사용을 목적으로 하여 개발되어 오면서 설치 및 관리의 편의성 부분이 결여되어 있으며, 이러한 문제점들은 VoIP 단말 설치를 어렵게 하여 인터넷 전화 보급에 장애가 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 VoIP 단말들의 설정 관리를 목적으로 하는 자동 프로비저닝 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 시스템은 SOHO 환경과 같이 소규모 VoIP 환경에서 VoIP 단말들을 쉽게 설치하고 관리할 수 있도록 지원한다.

  • Log analysis and monitoring have a significant importance in most of the systems. Log management has core importance in applications like distributed applications, cloud based applications, and applications designed for big data. These applications produce a large number of log files which contain essential information. This information can be used for log analytics to understand the relevant patterns from varying log data. However, they need some tools for the purpose of parsing, storing, and visualizing log informations. "Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana"(ELK Stack) is one of the most popular analyzing tools for log management. For the ingestion of log files configuration files have a key importance, as they cover all the services needed to input, process, and output the log files. However, creating configuration files is sometimes very complicated and time consuming in many applications as it requires domain expertise and manual creation. In this paper, an auto configuration module for Logstash is proposed which aims to auto generate the configuration files for Logstash. The primary purpose of this paper is to provide a mechanism, which can be used to auto generate the configuration files for corresponding log files in less time. The proposed module aims to provide an overall efficiency in the log management system.

  • This paper was concerned about design and implementation of supply chain management for auto-part company by adopting a UML(Unified Modeling Language). The part of SCM and e-business have interested by larger company, researcher and academic professor. There has been known about a little implementing SCM and it's initiatives for SME(small-medium sized enterprise). We, in this paper, dealt with design and implementing the SCM on supply chain auto part SMEs. The UML is a standard language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems. It simplifies the complex process of software design, making a blueprint for the SCM implementation. In this paper, we also adopt some methods for the systematic system analysis, design, and implementation by applying UML to a SCM system.

  • Customer Satisfaction (CS) in Auto insurance market is the important factor which makes customer loyalty and retention increase. Recently On-line companies are threatening the existing Off-line companies with taking advantage of the low price through cut-offing the price by internet marketing. Therefore, the CS is becoming an indispensable survival strategy to the Off-line companies. Under these circumstances, this study finds out what the CS factors are in the auto insurance market, and produces levels of CS, customer loyalty and satisfaction Index of each category. The purpose of this study is to suggest the strategic improvement factor for elevating CS level and strategic direction for CS management by CS portfolio analysis based on the survey result.

  • This paper was concerned about case study for preventing WMDSs(Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders) by using Thinking Process of TOC(Theory Of Constraints), Unfortunately, the number of WMDSs are rising steadily in auto-part manufacturer. These WMDSs have on worse and worse influence not only on the competition of enterprise but on the life quality of a worker. The research results are helpful to establish the preventing WMDSs and improvement of workplace environments for small-medium sized auto-part company.

  • Auto part industry supplies production for auto manufacturer and after market. These company have inventory for delivery. High inventory level can be good for delivery, but cost will be increase. Low inventory level can be customer unsatisfaction for delivery late. Low inventory level also is reason of low productivity by decreasing product batch size. These article suggest model for calculation a proper inventory level and prove a effect by simulation of some company.

  • Due to its capabilities, RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) has shown its applicability in various areas of business operations. This study describes the successful RFID system implemented in the auto parts manufacturing company called "E" to improve the efficiency of auto parts painting process management. The findings of this study show that an RFID system could help companies reduce manufacturing cost, inventory, and error rate in the auto-parts painting process. The RFID system descried in this study also demonstrates that an RFID system could make production data available real time to the company's ERP system and thus, managers and supervisors on the shop floor are able to make more informed business decisions. The findings of this study imply that RFID systems can be used to improve the efficiency of various manufacturing operations in companies. This study also provides IT professionals with practical guidelines for an effective implementation of RFID systems. In other words, it provides IT practitioners with the information on the success factors for implementing RFID systems as well as potential problems and solutions to them when implementing RFID systems.

자동차부품 제조업체에서의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Job Stress in Auto Part Manufacturing Company)

  • The job stress is rising as a social issue in all industries. So many manufacturing companies have been trying to prevent the job stress. Recently, the job stress is the important cause which lead to WMSDs, depressive disorder, anxiety disorder and sleep disturbance. However, the cause of the job stress is very variety. So management is very difficult. The purpose of this study is to investigate the group of the job stress by Karasek model from workers in auto part manufacturing company. The survey was using Karasek job stress model and was administered to 181 workers of auto part manufacturing company. Job demand median and job decision median was in 30.0 and 50.0. From this study, following results were obtained. 1) The gender of workers according to the groups of job stress was statistically significant(p<0.05). 2) The duration of working of workers according to the groups of job stress was statistically significant(p<0.05). 3) The intensity of work of workers according to the groups of job stress was statistically significant(p<0.01). The result of this study will help to identify the group of job stress and improve personal coping ability, systematic measure of company.
