A manufacturer of a durable good typically purchases supplies, including parts for assembly - that are also useful for repairs - from independent "original equipment suppliers" with which it contracts. The manufacturer is a branded monopolist of its final assembled product. To put into effect also a monopoly of the replacement parts, it must stipulate in its arrangements with independent suppliers of the parts that they not supply such patented parts to any other buyer. Durable good owners would then only be able to obtain their requirements of replacement parts from the same company that supplied the durable. This would amount to a tie-in of replacement parts to the direct purchase of new durables. And that describes the apparently widespread practice of automobile manufacturers in India, as exposed in a recent case before the Competition Commission of India (Samsher Kataria v Honda Siel Cars India Limited and others). Here, I will argue that such tie-in enabled automotive manufacturers to more fully appropriate consumer surplus, which induced them to lower the price of new cars, sell more cars and also sell more repair parts. The tie-in expanded the auto parts industry and promoted new entry. The main restraint on expansion of India's automotive manufacturing is not monopoly. It is government protection in the form of tariffs on automobiles and auto parts.

In this paper, we designed a system that integrate and organize customer management programs and databases, which are performed independently of each other. And we designed the system so that it can be used for future marketing by implementing the system to share and efficiently utilize mutual independent maintenance information. From the CRM perspective, a comprehensive information system ghat manages every information on both new cars and second hand cares grom their purchase, to parts, to insurance, and to scraping needs to be established. The following should be applied in the establishment of the IAMS. Auto makers or auto maintenance services providers exclusive management of information on customers and their car maintenance services is aggravating the customer's inconvenience and complaints. In addition, the service provider has difficulty providing consistent maintenance services because it has little information about previous auto maintenance services the customer received. Besides, the customers who have no information on costs of parts and labor tend to hesitate to trust the costs of maintenance services. This study to provide customers with systematic maintenance service and causing them some inconvenience. Therefore, in order to maintain existing customers, auto maintenance service providers should provide services the customers wanted on the basis of accurate information about them.

In the recent years the computer-numerical controlled cutting process such as a plasma arc cutting and a laser cutting is widely applied to reduce the time and cost expense for generating NC part program of the parts to be cut. In the present study, a CAD system(C-CAD) was developed to generate automatically the NC part programs with CLDAT(Cutter Location Data)for the CNC plasma arc cutting system. The NC part programs are composed of the 2-dimensional drawing of the parts to be cut and the technological data. The shape data of the parts drawn in the Auto-CAD can be also used in the C-CAD, since the data file generated by the C-CAD is compatible with that by the Auto-CAD. In order to check its applicability, the C-CAD and CAM system were applied to cut the parts, and which showed the satisfactory results.

무역관련투자조치(TRIMs)협정은 산업정책의 일환으로서 어느 국가가 외국 투자가에게 적용하는 국내규제와 관련된 규칙이다. 이 협정은 WTO의 모든 가입국이 합의한 내용이다. 이 협정은 국내제품에 유리한 법, 정책 또는 행정적 규정을 적용하는 것을 금지한다. 이것은 국내적으로 지역산업을 보호하는 방법으로서 제품을 생산한 것을 사용하는 기업을 조력하기 위한 정부의 인센티브도 포함한다. 이 협정은 WTO 체제 내에서 유일한 제한조치이다. 지역의 무역균형규칙과 같은 정책은 국내산업의 이익 증진과 현재는 경쟁적으로 제한하는 기업관행은 금지되어 있지만, 과거에는 활용되어 왔다. 여러 면에서 WTO-TRIMs 협정은 서비스 등에 관한 WTO 협정보다 그다지 중요한 협정은 아니다. TRIMs 협정은 전혀 새로운 규칙이 아니며 기존의 GATT 규정에서 정한 것을 언급하고 있을 뿐이다. 그러나 GATT 규정과는 달리 내국민대우에 관해서는 강경하게 규정하고 있으며, 또한 WTO-TRIMs 협정은 자동차 부품 등에 관해서는 광범위한 효과를 가지게 되었다. 한편 중국은 2001년 뒤늦게 WTO 회원국이 되어 한때 수입부품에 대한 고율의 관세를 부과한 조치는 고율의 관세를 회피하려는 자동차 부품 수입업자들을 규제하기 위한 것이었다. 본 연구에서는 중국의 WTO TRIMs 협정 위반 분쟁사례에 대해 중국의 자동차 부품 사례를 중심으로 분석하고 있다.

The Korea's automobile safety standards consist of standards for automobiles, automated vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles and auto parts, and there are 157 articles. In connection with the safety standards, the implementation rules stipulated for detailed test methods and procedures are composed of the main body, asterisks and annexes, and have a rather complicated structure. In addition, the test items in the asterisk are specified with the same or similar name as the test items in other asterisks. In this study, the structure of these implementation rules is simplified and the same test items are integrated. This is expected to increase the user's understanding of laws and regulations and efficiency.

자동차 부품의 측정 시스템은 현재 고가의 장비가 대부분이다. 본 논문에서는 저가의 장비를 구현하려고 하였다. 자동차의 부품은 여러가지가 있으나, 이 중에서 현재 공장에서 공기흐름 제어에 어려움을 겪고 있는 CCP(Canister Controlled Purge Solenoid)을 대상으로 하였다. 공기의 사용량에 따라 진공압력을 일정하게 유지하는데 소요하는 시간이 과거에는 최소한 3-4분 정도 요구하지만 본 개발의 목표는 보다 더 짧은 시간이내(수초)에 컴퓨터를 이용하여 설정진공을 유지하고자 한다. 즉 일정공기압 하에서 자동차 부품 CCP를 검사하는 제어시스템을 개발하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this research was to develop an automatic design with dialogue function in computer for pants pattern making. AutoCAD including AutoLISP was the programable software package, so AutoCAD were used basically for this research. The conclusions were like these; 1. Dialogue functions of computer allowed the designer to choose emotional elements. 2. The coordinate points needed in drafting for women's pants pattern making were suggest-ed by numerical fomula. So, if the input data of body sizes needed were used, pants patterns for person were automatically obtained as the output. 3. The several curvature parts were presented by using exponent function and the arc drawing of AutoCAD and the degree of bends were to be selected by choosing the simple parameter of algebraic function and arc AutoCAD command. 4. The program permited pattern manipulation and pattern grading of five standard sizes were presented. Also its flow chart by AutoLISP with dialogue function were presented.

This paper introduces the system AUTO-CUT for the automatic generation of NC tapes for wire-cut EDM (Electrodischarge Machining) parts. The information input to the system is the description of the part geometries, the tool motions and the cutting conditions etc. The system generates CLDATA. Also dynamic graphic display of the tool motions can be-performed on the screen.

Hydroforming, the new production technology, has been used to manufacture many parts of vehicle in the recent auto industry. When Hydroforming is applied, it is possible to make parts simplification and flexible alteration of section shape in many advantages such as weight reduction, number of parts reduction or performance improvement. This research into shape optimization which reduces number of parts and weight maintaining performance was achieved. In this paper, the COWL CROSS BAA and MT'g BAKT parts of A car STEERING support SYSTEM was introduced by using Hydroforming.
