Now, mathematics textbook is being developed in accordance with the 7th educational curriculum. It is expected that qualified textbook reflecting 'differentiated education' concept be developed and published. But there are still many limitations of textbook authorization system to develop 'such' textbook. Many authors of textbook have difficulty in developing creative and qualified textbooks in their own way. In this paper, we deal with what the authors should keep in mind and could reflect related on textbook authorization system in developing textbook. For this purpose, focusing on new 'content principle' of mathematics textbook authorization, the paper presented its educational background.

Activation energies for plastic deformation calculated from traditional phenomenological equations have been criticized frequently since the values are different by authors, and also by experimental conditions. The reasons of different activation enthalpies are clarified in this study. Our method for calculating activation enthalpies based on the authors' theory of plastic deformation was presented and discussed. The method was applied to various cases of alloys, the calculated activation enthalpies are listed and compared with the activation energies obtained by the traditional methods in order to show the reasonableness of our method. The physical meaning of the activation enthalpies which we found was clarified.

Applying the topological theory of rubber elasticity which was suggested by K. Iwata to the newly devised body-centered cubic lattice model, the authors calculated the values of four terms of the free energy to form polymer networks. Finding the projection matrix of the BCL model, and comparing this with the values of the simple cubic lattice (abbreviated to SCL hereafter) model of K. Iwata, the authors obtained the stress versus strain curves and found that the curves are in good agreement with the experimental results of poly(dimethyl siloxane) networks.

Information is presented and comparisons made on the behavior and reproduction of P. micropus and H. auritus collaris. Comments are made in observations of the apprearance and activities of new born H. auritus collaris and on maternal-infant relationships. Observations on size-weight relationships are made, especially for H. auritus collaris.

This study tested major determinants of customer satisfaction and loyalty by varying degrees of customers' knowledge level. Also, authors investigated the degrees of those impacts by classifying industries into two groups(service/manufacturing). Based on 4,000 completed surveys from five major cities, authors found the relationship among perceived quality, perceived value, and corporate image with customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. As a result, corporate image(extrinsic cue) was a major determinant to customers who are low knowledgeable and impacts of corporate image on customer satisfaction was stronger in service industry than manufacturing industry.

Many studies have been studied in the Information Technology (IT) area such as Information Systems, Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics and so on. Although various fields for IT exist, searching experts and reviewers in IT journals are subjective. The related journals have made efforts to assign experts for the qualified review. This study conducted developing the framework for understanding and evaluating the experts among co-authors and reviewers through social network analysis. To explore the findings, we collected data of the co-authored network and the reviewer network of the Korea Society of IT Services Journal. Totally, 545 authors for submissions and 314 co-authors were used for analyzing the co-authored network. To analyze the network, we divided two networks as a network for 545 papers and a network of 316 papers excluded 229 single authored-papers. In the findings, we found out various researchers published their papers with collaborations. Also, authors who have high scores of centrality can be said as experts for specific fields. In addition, we analyzed 358 data of reviewers from 2005 to 2011. About 50 reviewers have reviewed the submitted papers based on their expertise since 2005. Peculiarly, the expertise and the qualified review in Korea Society of IT Services Journal were identified in that almost reviewers do not review various papers at a time based on low degree measures and network density.

Background: If patients have a better understanding about their problem and treatment, compliance and satisfaction with treatment will increase. For this purpose, simple repeated explanations regarding a patients' problem and treatment are essential. Critical pathway (CP) has a very wide range in medicine with the exception of the plastic surgery field. The authors developed a CP for facial bone fractures and implemented it clinically. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the CP on the degree of recognition of the problem along with patient satisfaction with the treatment process. Methods: From May 2011 to October 2011, a total of 82 patients suffering from facial bone fractures were studied. The CP for facial bone fractures was developed by plastic surgeons, residents and nurses. Subsequently, the authors investigated the degree of recognition of the disease and patient satisfaction with the treatment through the use of a questionnaire. The authors compared the score of the questionnaires before and after implementation of the clinical pathway. Results: The degree of the recognition of the problem changed from 3.1 to 4.2 (p<0.001). Further, the degree of satisfaction with the treatment process changed from 3.6 to 4.3 (p<0.05). Overall, there was a two point increase in improvement. Conclusion: Implementation of the CP for facial bone fractures was effective in improving the degree of recognition and satisfaction. The authors expect that hereafter, the CP for facial bone fractures will be implemented actively in the plastic surgery field.

We analyzed the relationships between the co-authorship network centralities and the research performance indicators with the authors and the number of citations of the papers published for 10 years in Korean library and information science journals. In particular, the research performance indicators were calculated with normal counting and with fractional counting also. As a result of correlation analysis between the variables by setting the different ranges of the author groups to be analyzed according to the number of articles, it was possible to explain the inconsistent results of the previous studies on the correlations between the researchers' citation indicators and their co-authorship network centralities. Overall, the degree of co-authorship activities measured by collaboration coefficient showed no or negatively correlated with research performance. There were statistically significant positive correlations between the centralities and the research performance indicators, but the correlation was not significant in the analysis of the top 30 authors by number of articles.

An author of a paper is represented as his/her personal name in a bibliographic record. However, the use of names to indicate authors may deteriorate recall and precision of paper and/or author search, since the same name can be shared by many different individuals and a person can write his/her name in different forms. To solve this problem, it is required to disambiguate same-name author names into different persons. As features for author resolution, previous studies have exploited bibliographic attributes such as co-authors, titles, publication information, etc. This study attempts to apply email addresses of authors to disambiguate author names. For this, we first handle the extraction of email addresses from full-text papers, and then evaluate and analyze the effect of email addresses on author resolution using a large-scale test set.

6,161 research articles in the Life Sciences field published in domestic journals in 2004 were evaluated using bibliometrics. The total number of authors was 29,759 and the average number of authors per article was 4.8. 63.4 percent of the articles in domestic journals had more than 4 co-authors. However, this is about 25.5 percent points lower than that of Life Sciences articles in the CELL/NATURE/SCIENCE. The co-authored articles in the domestic journals mainly consist of university - university collaboration (19.9 percent). On the other hand, the co-authored articles in the CELL/NATURE/SCIENCE mainly consist of university-research institution collaboration (48.2 percent).
