Preparation and Application of Polysilane Derivatives (Polysilane 유도체의 합성과 그 응용)

  • Polysilane derivatives are attracting considerable attention as a new class of material since 1980. The preparation methods of low molecular weight, cyclic, and high molecular weight polysilane derivatives are described, and also photochemistry characteristics for silicon-silicon single bond and for the nature of the substituent on silicon backbone are discussed. Polysilanes may be used as a precursors to silicon carbide fiber, as photoresist in microelectronics, as photoconductor, and as photoinitatior for free radical polymerization.

Band Structure Engineering of Monolayer MoS2 by Surface Ligand Functionalization

  • Monolayer transition metal dicalcogenide (TMDC) materials are currently attracting extensive attention due to their distinctive electronic, transport, and optical properties. For example, monolayer $MoS_2$ exhibits a direct band gap in the visible frequency range, which makes it an attractive candidate for the photocatalytic water splitting. For the photoelectrochemical water splitting, the appropriate band edge positions that overlap with the water redox potential are necessary. Similarly, appropriate band level alignments will be crucial for the light emitting diode and photovoltaic applications utlizing heterojunctions between two TMDC materials. Carrying out first-principles calculations, we here investigate how the band edges of $MoS_2$ can be adjusted by surface ligand functionalization. This study will provide useful information for the realization of ligand-based band engineering of monolayer $MoS_2$ for various electronic, energy, and bio device applications.

  • Recently, the danger for radioactive materials has become a hot topic. Beginning with the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1996, in 2011, the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan suffered major damage such as large-scale casualties and radioactive dangerous area selection. Concerns about leakage of radioactive materials due to recent earthquakes have been deepening in Korea, such as Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant in Gyeongju, and there is a growing interest in the safety of radioactive materials through the media and the media. However, the route to exposure to radioactive materials is not limited to these large-scale nuclear accidents. Typical examples of this are radioactive substances exposed in daily life. In the case of radon gas, the danger is being revealed through current events programs and news, and natural radiation exposure is attracting attention.

  • Under the present situation of severe competition in the food industry, food industry should put much emphasis on maintaing repeating guests as well as attracting new guests. Food industry should gain competition superiority with relationship marketing which consists of the interaction between the role of guests as participants and the guests-oriented service of employees, and marketing activities building up, maintaining, and enforcing the relationship with the guests. However, food industry in Korea have not had much interests in the relationship marketing Which can maintain repeating guests, and they have not carried out relationship marketing activities. This study attempted to establish the relationship marketing strategy of the food industry for the maintenance of friendly relationship with its guests. After reviewing the precedent theory of relationship marketing, the study tried to find out the important factors to affect the relationship marketing of food industry.

  • This paper aims to suggest a validity analysis model that would be helpful for local governments considering u-City construction projects and a methodology for them to promote build-transfer-lease (BTL) u-City projects. This methodology mainly uses quantitative and qualitative analysis based on the Value For Money (VFM) designed by the Public and Private Infrastructure Investment Management Center (PIMAC) under the Korea Development Institute (KDI). BTL projects requires a large amount of capital and involves long-term investments. Therefore, multi-faceted validity analysis is required for the success of a project. This study will enumerate various factors to be considered in the pre-analysis of validity of BTL projects and suggest a methodology to verify them. A case study of a BTL project promoted by Ansan City assisted in designing this study in detail.

  • In the early 1990s, the market-orientation attracting a lot of attention as the implementation strategy of marketing is an effort to give customers a value and get sustained earnings in the market. In the previous studies, most of the studies on the market-orientation have focused on hotels, large companies and IT, so it was hard to find the study on railroad in the view of transport service. Thus, this study aimed to find out how marketing activities using transport service and a variety of products linked railroad are shared by group members and what effect the organized union of corporate culture has on business performance as market-orientation activity. Previously, the purpose of this study was to research whether the management system of a private enterprise based on market could be applied to the public enterprise like Korea railroad.

  • Two-photon microscopy (TPM) is attracting much attention in biological imaging due to the capability of imaging deep inside the living tissues for a long period of time. For maximum utilization of TPM, it is essential to develop efficient twophoton sensors. Regarding this, many research groups are developing two-photon sensors for specific applications. In this review, we summarize recent results on selected examples of two-photon sensors for intracellular free metal ions in the live cells and tissues to provide a guideline for various imaging applications.

Improvement Scheme of Nodal Integration in Meshless Method (무요소법에서 절점 적분의 효과적 개선방안)

  • Meshfree methods have been attracting issue as computational methods during past a few years. Nowadays, various meshfree methods such as EFGM, RKPM h-p cloud method and etc. were developed and applied in engineering problems. But, most of them were not truly meshless method because background mesh of cell was required for the spatial integration of a weak form. A nodal integration is required for truly meshless methods but it is known that this method gives a little unstable and incorrect solutions. In this paper, an improvement scheme of the existed nodal integration which the weak form can be simply integrated without any stabilization term is proposed. Numerical tests show that the proposed method is more convenient and gives more correct solutions than the previous method.

A Case of Applying Flipped learning to Norms of Language Course

  • Recently, Flipped Learning is attracting attention as a method for qualitative growth of university education. Flipped Learning is a kind of computer based education and consisted of online video lectures and offline student activities. This paper introduces the results of applying Flipped Learning for one semester to Korean linguistic norms course. As for this course, the contents related to the knowledge and information were provided individually before the class through online video, and the offline classes focused on student-led activities. When qualitatively evaluating the results of the course, students developed a more comprehensive and flexible mind set beyond the preexisting normative attitudes and showed increase in analytical and critical thinking in understanding the principles of linguistic norms and spelling system. According to these results we argue that it is necessary to actively adopt Flipped Learning in the humanities education, including the grammar classes.

  • 최근 모바일 환경의 발달은 손안의 쇼핑을 완벽히 구현하고 있다. 특히, SNS 및 패션커머스의 발전으로 소비자는 자신이 원하는 의류를 간편하게 구매할 수 있다. 하지만, 모델 착용샷, 설명, 사진 및 댓글 등을 통해 판단하고 구입하기 때문에, 의류 특성상 직접 입어보고 판단해야 하는 실 소비자는 만족도가 떨어지고 판매자 입장에서는 반품이 증가하는 현상이 나타나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소비자의 만족도를 최대한 높일 수 있는 2가지 요소를 감안한 모바일 쇼핑몰을 소개하고자 한다. 첫째, 소비자 체형과 유사한 모델 착용샷을 제공함으로써 구매 당시 소비자의 구매 만족도를 높인다. 둘째, 의류를 구매한 소비자가 자신이 착용한 사진을 쇼핑몰에 올림으로써 모델로써 활동할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 커머스 SNS가 구축되도록 유도한다. 이를 위해 착용샷을 올리는 회원들을 위한 수수료 구조를 효율화하고 판매사, 소비자, 모델들이 활동하는 플랫폼을 구성한다.
