외국인 근로자에 대한 태도와 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Attitudes and Influencing Factors on Foreign Workers)

  • 본 연구는 '2016년 한국인의 의식 및 가치관 조사' 자료를 활용하여 우리국민의 외국인에 대한 태도를 유형별로 구분하고, 영향요인 분석을 목적으로 한다. 분석방법은 SPSS의 ${\chi}^2$ 검증과 다항로지스틱 회귀모형 분석을 통하여 태도의 차이검증과 영향요인을 분석하였다. 인구사회학적 변인과 국민정체성 변인, 사회경제적 변인을 설명변수로 채택하였으며, 응답자의 태도유형(우호적, 부정적, 이중적)을 구분하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 설명변수의 영향력을 규명하였다. 분석 결과 법적 권리를 부여하는 것에 대해서는 비교적 관대한 입장을 보이고 있는 반면, 외국인 근로자들로 인한 경제적 위협과 사회적 위협에 대해서는 부정적 태도를 보이고 있다. 태도 유형의 영향요인을 분석한 결과 각 영향력에는 차이가 있으나, 부정적 태도 유형과 법적 권리에 부정적인 이중적 태도는 공통적으로 국민정체성 변인이 영향요인으로 작용하였으며, 경제적 사회적 위협이 큰 이중적 태도에는 남성, 외국인 노동자 거주비율이 영향요인으로 나타났다. 반면 현실갈등이론을 반영하는 사회경제적 요인은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되어, 우리사회 외국인근로자에 대한 부정적 견해는 현실적 경험이나 갈등보다는 인지적 위협으로 향후 원주민에 대한 외국인 이해교육이나 교류확대 등의 정책이 요구된다.

보건관리대행 간호모형의 제안 (A Proposal of a Nursing Model Applicable to Group Occupational Health Service)

  • This study was conducted to propose a model for nursing performance in group occupational health service. To achieve such a goal, the writer choose and analysed two kinds of journals which were thought to be the most suitable for that purpose and authoritative on community health nursing: The Journal of Korean Community Nursing and the Journal of Korean Academic Society of Industrial Nursing. The total number of the articles analysed in this study was 16 and in the analysis of them the writer was specially concerned with the following questions: 1) Have there been any different performances in occupational health management between staying nurses and visiting ones? 2) What are the levels of knowledge, attitude, and practice of workers and how can we, on the basis of them, develop the program that workers are able to participate positively in ? the obtained conclusions are as follows. 1) Different performances are revealed between staying nurses and visiting ones: Common symptom management frequently appeared in staying nurses. Counseling, health education and follow-up care after medical examination were more frequently revealed in visiting nurses. 2) As for the lovel of knowledge, attitude, and practice of occupational health, workers have average one respectively. The major factors influencing the level of KAP of workers were area, age, sex and status. Counseling, health education, follow-up care after medical examination, and health promotion should be reinforced as core programs in group occupational health services. And for the part of visiting nurses, it is necessary to put more emphasis on efficiency training using the method of nursing process.

  • This study was conducted to present the improvement in professional perception among construction workers engaged in domestic construction sites by analyzing the reality of their professional perception. The results are as follows: First, with regard to professional perception of the construction industry, managerial workers made their positive reply to items regarding construction and construction workers but had their negative attitude towards construction as a job and as a recommendable job for others; whereas production workers showed their negative reply to all the items. Second, with respect to factors for construction being firmly regarded as an 3D industry, managerial workers selected 'long working hours' and production workers replied with 'low wages and income insecurity.' Third, as for improvement activities for professional perception of construction, most of construction workers simply knew about activities being performed but expressed their intention to participate in the activities.

서울지역 단체 급식소 영양사들의 고령 인력 고용에 관한 의식 조사 (Attitudes of Non-Commercial Foodservice Dietitians toward Hiring Older Workers)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the attitudes of non-commercial foodservice dietitians toward hiring older workers who are over fifty-five years of age. Questionnaires were sent to 600 members of Korea Dietitians Association who are working in Seoul, Korea, Data from 233 usable responses were analyzed using the SAS package program. The study showed that dietitians do not have a favorable perception of hiring older workers. Dictitians responded older workers have more serious accidents than younger workers(under age 30). In addition, they think than older workers are harder to train, find it more difficult to adapt to adapt to new ways of working, and are slower in their work. On the positive side, the response did show that dietitians realize that older workers are not absent from work as frequently than younger workers and that they are more cooperate than younger workers. The data also showed that those dietitians who had more positive experience with older workers also perceive the workers in more positive way than those dietitians that have had a negative experience with older workers(p<0.001). Finally, dietitians who are working in industrial foodservice showed more positive attitudes toward older workers than the dietitians who are working in hospital and school foodservice(p<0.01).

신체억제에 대한 요양보호사의 인식과 태도 (Elderly Care Worker's Recognition and Attitude about Uses of Physical Restraints)

  • 본 연구는 신체억제에 대한 인식과 태도를 파악하기 위해 노인요양시설의 요양보호사를 대상으로 시도된 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 노인요양시설에 근무하는 요양보호사 153명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집은 구조화된 설문지를 사용하였고 수집한 자료는 기술통계 및 t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test 및 Pearson Correlation Coefficient로 분석하였다. 연구 대상자의 신체억제에 대한 인식 정도는 전체평균 2.83점(5점 만점)이었고, 대상자의 신체억제에 대한 태도 정도는 전체평균 3.56점(5점 만점)이었다. 대상자의 신체억제에 대한 인식과 태도 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 순상관관계(r=.31, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 신체억제에 대한 인식과 태도 점수가 낮은 문항에 대한 체계적인 교육의 필요성을 확인하였다. 따라서 신체억제의 적절한 사용방법에 관한 실제적이고 효과적인 교육프로그램의 개발이 필요하며, 신체억제 적용기준과 관련된 지침개발이 필요하다. 향후 노인의 인권보호를 위해 신체억제 감소 및 폐지를 위한 노력과 관심이 요구된다.

간호사의 개인보호장비에 대한 지식, 태도 및 인식: 메르스 대응을 중심으로 (Knowledge, Attitudes and Perceptions of Nurses on Personal Protective Equipment: Response to the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus)

  • Purpose: Personal protective equipment (PPE) is critical to protect healthcare workers from pandemic outbreaks. This study was designed to identify nurses' knowledge, attitude and perceptions on PPE. Methods: Data were collected from 154 nurses working at a tertiary general hospital, where positively diagnosed and suspected patients were accepted and admitted during the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus outbreak in 2015. The PPE tool consists of 20 items for knowledge, and 5 each for attitudes and perceptions. Results: Overall, knowledge for PPE was higher than moderate (76.95/100), but there was a lack for items related to powered air purifying respirator (PAPR). For attitudes, willingness to work in pandemic outbreaks was the most positive (4.04/5.00). Goggles and PAPR were perceived as the most uncomfortable barriers to work. There was no correlation between knowledge, attitude and perceptions, despite a strong positive correlation between attitude and perceptions. PPE training was identified as a factor to improve knowledge and attitudes on PPE. Conclusion: To respond to pandemic influenza, nurses need to expand their knowledge on PPE up to Level C, and be updated through regular training. Study findings suggest that repetitive studies targeting nurses and other healthcare workers at various hospital settings are necessary.

이성적 행동이론에 의한 제조업 근로자들의 호흡보호구착용에 영향을 주는 요인분석 (Factors associated with Respiratory Usage of Manufacturing Workers Based on the Reasoned Action Theory)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors associated with respirator usage on the basis of reasoned action theory. Methods : The data were collected from August 1 to September 30 1999, and study subjects consisted of 303 workers who were employed in the manufacturing industries. A self-administered questionnaire was used to measure the attitude, subjective norm and related factors. Results : In bivariate analysis, the variables related to protector usage were prevention of occupational disease, protection of toxic material, disturbance during working, troublesome of usage, proper exchange of protector. Multivariate logit analysis was used to estimate factors associated with respirator usage. Significant predictors that are related to respirator usage were attitude toward the behavior, size of industry and proper exchange of protector. Conclusions : The results suggest that it is strongly required to focus on attitude toward the behavior in order to improve workers' usage of respirator.

Healthcare Workers' Knowledge and Attitudes Regarding the World Health Organization's "My 5 Moments for Hand Hygiene": Evidence From a Vietnamese Central General Hospital

  • Objectives: Although the World Health Organization (WHO) initiative "My 5 Moments for Hand Hygiene" has been lauded as effective in preventing hospital-associated infections, little is known about healthcare workers (HCWs)' hand hygiene behavior. In this study, we sought to assess knowledge and attitudes towards the concepts in this initiative, as well as associated factors, among Vietnamese HCWs at a general hospital. Methods: A structured questionnaire was administered to HCWs at a central Vietnamese general hospital in 2015. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with HCWs' knowledge and attitudes towards hand hygiene. Results: Of 120 respondents, 65.8% and 67.5% demonstrated appropriate knowledge and a positive attitude, respectively, regarding all 5 hand hygiene moments. Logistic regression indicated better knowledge of hand hygiene in workers who were over 30 years old, who were direct HCWs (rather than managers), who had frequent access to clinical information, and who received their clinical information from training. Those who worked in infectious and tropical disease wards, who had frequent access to clinical information, and who received information from training were more likely to have a positive attitude towards hand hygiene than their counterparts. Conclusions: Although many Vietnamese HCWs displayed moderate knowledge and positive attitudes towards the WHO hand hygiene guidelines, a key gap remained. Regular education and training programs are needed to increase knowledge and to improve attitudes and practices towards hand hygiene. Furthermore, a combination of multimodal strategies and locally-adapted interventions is needed for sustainable hand hygiene adherence.

유입 전 정보인지가 한국생활만족과 정보발신태도에 미치는 영향 - 부산.경남 이주노동자를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Pre-Migration Information Cognition on the Satisfaction of Korean Life and the Attitude on Sending Information: Focused on Migrant Workers in Busan and Kyeongnam)

  • 이 연구는 한국 유입 전 이주노동자들의 한국에 관한 정보인지도가 한국생활만족과 정보발신태도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌조사와 함께 부산 경남에 거주하고 있는 이주노동자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과 한국에 관한 정보는 인력송출회사와 매체정보에 주로 의존하고 있었다. 유입전에 습득한 정보인지 중에서 '사회 경제정보인지' 요인이 높을수록 한국생활만족도는 높게 나타났으며, 한국생활만족에서는 '작업장환경만족' 요인이 높을수록 정보발신태도가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 이주노동자들에게 필요한 양질의 정보제공과 정보경로의 다양화 등 정보정책 수립 방안을 제시하였다.

융합시대를 위한 사회복지사의 자원개발역량이 조직효과성에 미치는 융합연구 (Convergence of Social Workers' Resource Development Capability on Organizational Effectiveness for Fusion Age)

  • 본 연구는 수도권지역에 있는 사회복지시설 사회복지사 135명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 사회복지사의 자원개발역량강화와 조직효과성 향상을 강조하기 위해서 본 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 자원개발역량의 태도는 직무만족에 부적인 영향을, 지식은 직무만족에 정적인 영향을, 가치와 기술은 직무만족에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 자원개발역량의 가치와 지식은 조직몰입에 정적인 영향을, 태도와 기술은 조직몰입에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자원개발역량의 가치는 이직의도에 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 태도는 이직의도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기술은 이직의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지식은 이직의도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 사회복지사의 자원개발역량인 가치, 태도, 기술, 지식을 높이기 위한 노력을 할 경우, 직무만족이 낮아지거나 이직하고자 하는 의도정도가 상승하는 현상이 나타나 아직까지 사회복지사의 개인역량의 가치를 높이기 위한 사회복지조직의 환경이 열악한 상황임을 알 수 있으므로 이를 개선하기 위한 지원과 노력이 필요하다.
