등반능력향상을 위한 이륜 역진자 로봇의 최적 ARS 제어 (Optimal ARS Control of an Inverted Pendulum Robot for Climbing Ability Improvement)

  • This paper proposes an optimal ARS control of a two-wheel mobile inverted pendulum robot. Conventional researches are highly concentrated on the robust control of a mobile inverted pendulum on the flat ground, $i.e.$, mostly focus on the compensation of gyroscope signals. This newly proposed algorithm deals with a climbing control of a slanted surface based on the dynamic modeling using the conventional structure. During the climbing control of the robot, unexpected disturbance forces are essentially caused by the irregular contact force which comes from the irregular contact angle between the wheel and the terrain. The disturbances have effects on the optimal posture of the mobile robot to compensate the slanted angle. Therefore the dynamics equations through physical interpretation are derived for the selection of optimum climbing posture through ARS. Also using the ultrasonic sensor the slope information is obtained to compensate for the force of gravity. The control inputs are dynamically adjusted to climb up the slanted surface effectively. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated through the real experiments.

  • 본 연구에서 헬리콥더의 궤적추종을 위한 제어기의 설계 및 평가를 수행하였다. 제어시스템의 알고리즘은 선형 되먹임 기법과 두 단계 시간분리 구조를 이용하여 구성하였다. 또한 헬리콥터 동특성에 대한 정확한 정보의 결핍으로 인한 모델 역변화 오차를 보상하기 위해 신경회로망을 이용한 실시간 적응제어 구조를 자세제어 시스템에 적용하였다. 제어 시스템의 궤적추종성능은 아파치 헬기의 동측성을 나타내는TMAN 시뮬레이션 프로그램의 단순형을 사용하여 평가하였다. 이를 통하여 실시간 신경회로망 적응제어 구조가 동특성 정보의 부족으로 이한 궤도 추종 제어의 성능 저하 문제에 매우 효과적으로 기여함을 보였다.

학동기 자녀를 둔 맞벌이가족의 가족관계와 정책적 제언 (The family relationships and the policy implications of dual-earner families with school-aged children)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe the current status of dual-earner families in Seoul. The specific aims of this study were to examine the dynamics of marital relationship, parent-child relationship and old mother-daughter/daughter in law relationship in the same family. The sample consised of 265 dual-earner families was selected based on wives' jobs, primarily non-professional. The information was gathered from working couples and their school-aged children. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. Sex role attitude of husbands was more traditional than their wives. Therefore, housework sharing of husbands was very low and wives' perception of inequity was high. Wives' marital satisfaction was affected by the wives' perception of inequity, joint leisure activity, sexual satisfaction, and wives' job satisfaction. Husbands' marital satisfaction was affected by sexual satisfaction, perceived difficulties and problems of the husbands caused by wives' employment, and the degree of their housework participation. 2. The emotional uneasiness of children during mothers' absence was reported. The communication about mothers' job was helpful to gain children's understanding toward mothers' job. Mothers suffered from guilty feeling of neglecting their children in spite of their good performance of mothering role. 3. The employed daughters/daughters in law perceived high rewards and low cost in relationships with their mothers/mothers in law. The perceived quality of daughter-mother relationship was higher with low cost and high rewards than that of daughter in law/mother in law. Finally practical and policy implications were suggested.

The Role of Narrative Transportation in Web Series as Branded Entertainment

  • The dynamics of communications powered by the Internet, specifically from the increased use of social media, has led marketers to find creative channels to engage with the customers. One of the recent channels, "branded entertainment", is becoming familiar as an advertising strategy in which the content presented is a marketing tool for the advertising of certain brands. The current study examined the case of a branded-entertainment channel and the mechanism of the advertising instrument that leads to purchase intention. The specific purpose of this research is to investigate whether there is evidence of the role of narrative transportation and the fantasy proneness leading towards purchase of the brand advertised. To arrive at the conclusion, the study using web series sponsored by an artificial sweetener brand and employs a quantitative survey to question the audience. The findings contribute toward the understanding of how consumers respond to branded entertainment via video-sharing platforms. It is indicated that the stories presented in the web series can stimulate the audience to fantasize. Thus, the advertising message conveyed through narrative persuasion can form a favorable attitude toward the brand, which leads to intention to purchase. Practical elements are identified along with limitations and future research suggestions.

  • 다물체 동역학 기법을 이용하여 가변속 제어모멘트자이로와 인공위성의 상호작용하는 모델을 개발한 연구결과를 소개한다. 이 상호작용 모델을 이용하여, VCMG 모터의 사양 설계와 위성 구조물의 강도설계에 활용할 수 있는 데이터를 얻었다. 그리고 태양 전지판과 같은 유연 모듈의 상호작용 효과도 포함하였다. 위성의 기동에 의하여 유연 모드가 야기되고, 이 모드의 진동에 의하여 위성 자세에 변동이 가해진다. 모델리카 언어로 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발하고, 제시한 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • Vaccine diplomacy is a manifestation of competition for political influence among great powers amidst the Covid-19 pandemic's blatant illustration of ineluctable interdependency across the global community. The reinforcement of trends bolstering global polity construction intensify concomitantly with nationalist populist value and attitude expressions increasing political polarization. The interdependency graphically illustrated in the Cold War-era's mutual assured destruction incentivized competition into indirect competitive intervention in the internal politics of third actors. Indirect international influence contestations included extended, de facto challenge competitions to generate soft power on behalf of the victor, e.g., the space race. The Covid-19 pandemic has intensified this competition to offer alternative development models while intense domestic political polarization undermines the mobilizational capacities for achieving sustainable development. In contrast to multinational and multiethnic states, nation states have an inherent mobilizational advantage because of the enhanced control capabilities available to the authorities without emphasizing coercion. Control through Gramscian hegemonic mechanisms is more readily feasible in nation states through the greater feasibility of commodification of social relations by states authorities regulating and channeling social competition to encourage social mobility and creativity. The regulation of the so-called private sector serves to manage and contain social competition while channeling it to develop the institutional capacities for control and allocation of developing societal human resources. It enhances developed state control mechanisms and international influence capacities. The appeal of offers of aid and assistance to the so-called developing world becomes ever more urgent amidst Anthropocene crises including its most recent, current Covid-19 pandemic disaster.

A Study on the Interaction between Corporate Reputation and Negativity Framing on Consumer Evaluation of Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Do corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives lead to positive outcomes for companies? Although it is commonly accepted that CSR is a necessary component of modern marketing communication, the empirical evidence shows that that is not always the case. If CSR is sometimes not conducive to better marketing, it behooves firms to determine the right conditions that foster more effective CSR. It is in that vein that this study aims to add to the growing body of marketing and CSR literature through a series of experiments that examines the dynamics between prior attitude toward the company, the fit between the company and the CSR cause, and consumers' accessible thoughts. This study finds that the prior corporate reputation has an impact on how consumers evaluate the CSR activities of companies. Moreover, we show that the degree of accessible thoughts and their valence can change the moderating effect of the fit between the company and the CSR cause. This is because negative information is perceived as being more diagnostic than positive information in an evaluation situation. We demonstrate that companies that have lower prior public reputations can improve the evaluation of their CSR activities in two major ways: (1) by finding CSR causes that have a lower fit with their business, or (2) by providing information that allow consumers to access more positive thoughts about the CSR activity.

복수 PSD와 비콘을 이용한 칼만필터 기반 상대항법에 대한 연구 (Relative Navigation Study Using Multiple PSD Sensor and Beacon Module Based on Kalman Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 복수 Position Sensitive Detector(PSD) 센서와 IR Beacon Module(적외선 비콘 모듈)을 이용하여 우주비행체의 랑데부/도킹/군집 운용과 같은 근접 운용을 위한 칼만 필터 기반의 상대항법 알고리즘 연구를 수행한다. PSD 센서와 적외선 비콘 모듈은 각각 Target Satellite과 Chaser Satellite에 장착되어 위성의 상대 위치와 상대 자세 정보를 획득하여 위성간 근접운용에 사용한다. 각각의 상대 항법 기법의 성능을 비교 분석하기 위하여 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 상대항법 알고리즘에 사용된 PSD 센서와 적외선 비콘 모듈의 광학적 모델링과 작동 원리를 기반으로 칼만필터의 측정 모델을 구성한다. 확장 칼만 필터(EKF)와 무향 칼만 필터(UKF)는 우주비행체의 병진 운동 및 회전 운동에 대한 운동학 및 동역학적 특성을 활용하는 측정 융합에 기반을 둔 확률론적 상대항법 기법으로 사용된다. EKF와 UKF, 두 필터의 상대 자세 및 상대 위치 추정 성능을 비교한다. Target Satellite과 Chaser Satellite에 장착되는 PSD 센서와 적외선 비콘 모듈의 개수와 상대항법기법의 변화에 따른 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 성능 변화를 확인하였다.

음악 체험에서 카타르시스 경험에 기여한 음악의 역할에 대한 질적 분석 (A Qualitative Analysis of the Role of Music Contributing to Catharsis During Music Experience)

  • 본 연구는 카타르시스 경험에 기여한 음악의 역할 및 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 음악을 통해 특정한 감정을 분출하거나 완화한 경험이 있는 일반 성인 12명을 대상으로 하여, 음악 내 카타르시스 경험을 탐구한 경험적 현상학적 연구를 수행하였다. 자료수집과 분석에는 현상학적 환원, 태도변경, 문헌 해석, 해석학적 순환 등이 활용되었다. 연구결과 총 3개의 범주, 5개의 주제모음 및 11개의 주제가 도출되었다. 첫 번째 범주인 '음악을 통한 지금-여기'는 '심미적 경험', '음악적 참신함의 확장' 2개의 주제모음으로 구성되었으며, 두 번째 범주인 '음악을 통한 내면의 접촉'은 '내재된 정서 재경험' 1개의 주제모음, 세 번째 범주인 '음악경험에의 몰입'은 '감정의 분출 및 심화', '내적 역동' 2개의 주제모음으로 구성되었다. 논의에서는 도출한 결과를 중심으로 음악의 카타르시스적 특성에 대해 세 가지로 설명하였는데, 첫째, 음악의 심미성과 참신함이 참여자들을 음악경험에 온전히 머무르게 하였고, 둘째, 음악과 관련된 기억 및 미해결된 감정이 내재된 정서 재경험을 유도하였으며, 셋째, 음악의 구성요소별 특성이 감정의 분출, 심화, 내적 역동을 촉진하였다는 점이다. 본 연구는 일반 성인의 카타르시스 경험에 기여한 음악의 특성에 대해 질적으로 접근한 연구라는 점에 그 의의가 있다.

CIFER®를 이용한 무인 헬리콥터의 동특성 분석 (I) - 조종기 제어 입력 데이터 획득을 위한 비행시험 - (Flight Dynamic Identification of a Model Helicopter using CIFER®(I) - Flight test for the acquisition of transmitter input data -)

  • Aerial spraying technology using a small unmanned helicopter is an efficient and practical tool to achieve stable agricultural production to improve the working condition. An attitude controller for the agricultural helicopter would be helpful to aerial application operator. In order to construct the flight controller, a state space model of the helicopter should be identified using a dynamic analysis program, such as CIFER$^{(R)}$. To obtain the state space a model of the helicopter, frequency-sweep flight tests were performed and time history data were acquired using a custom-built stick position transmitter. Four elements of stick commands were accessed for the collective pitch (heave), aileron (roll), elevator (pitch), rudder (yaw) maneuvers. The test results showed that rudder stick position signal was highly linear with rudder input channel signal of the receiver; however, collective pitch stick position signal was exponentially manipulated for the convenience of control stick handling. The acquired stick position and flight dynamic data during sweep tests would be analyzed in the followed study.
