Constructed upon Knowledge Management (KM) processes, the current study aims to investigate the interrelationship between Knowledge Sharing (KS) attitude among the faculty members and KM processes in higher education institutes (HEIs) in Pakistan along with the intervening role of subjective norms between KM processes and KS attitude. This research incorporated the theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to conceptualize the KS behavior by using a sample frame of 302 academic and administrative staff from research-based HEIs in Quetta, Pakistan. A questionnaire-based survey was conducted on permanent faculty members from different universities of Quetta, Pakistan. The finding of the study shows a positive attitude among the researchers. The study empirically examined the interface between KM processes and KS attitude and higher education performance while providing valuable insights into the prevailing literature by investigating the mediating role of subject norms. The impact of subjective norms on KS attitude and KM process indicates the importance and basic determinant in organizational premises and improvement of skills of faculty management in HEIs. The partial mediation also reveals the importance of subjective norms in the development of faculty members' KM and KS attitude process.
The purpose of this study are (1) to examine the reality of contacting with fashion catalogues, (2) to examine the consumer's attitude towards fashion catalogues, (3) to examine the correlation between consumer's attitude towards fathion catalogue by sex and age. It was found that, concerning frequency of contacting with fashion catalogues, women contact with them more frequently than men, and lower ages than higher ages. Also, it was shown that, both man and woman with merchandise catalogues, lower ages with merchant catalogues, and higher ages with mail order catalogues. With regard to methods of contacting with catalogue, it was found that men come to contact mainly through mail, women through the displayed goods in the sales shops, lower ages through the displayed goods in the sales shops and higher ages through mail. Concerning the consumer's attitude towards fashion catalogues, meaningful difference was shown in interesting level, attention level, information offering level and information utilizing level by sex. By age, meaningful difference was shown in interesting level, attention level, information offering level, information reliability level, information utilizing level and purchasing satisfying level. Regarding correlation between consumer's attitude towards fashion catalogues by sex, meaningful correlation was shown between all consumer's attitude. By age, meaningful correlation was not found, between 36 to 45 years old, between information reliability level and interesting level, and attention level, and information offering level, and information utilizing level but meaningful correlation was shown between consumer's other attitude.

This paper examines finite rotation angle (FRA) applications for spacecraft attitude control. The coordinate transformation matrix and the attitude kinematics represented by FRAs are introduced. The interpolation techniques for the angular orientations are thoroughly investigated using the FRAs and the results are compared to those using traditional methods. The paper proposes trajectory description techniques by using extremely smooth polynomial functions of time, which can describe point-to-point attitude maneuvers in a realizable and accurate manner with the help of unique FRA features. In addition, new controller design techniques using the FRAs are developed by combining the proposed interpolation techniques with a model predictive control framework. The proposed techniques are validated through their attitude control applications for an aggressive point-to-point maneuver. Conclusively, the FRAs provide much more flexibility than quaternions and Euler angles when describing kinematics, generating trajectories, and designing attitude controllers for spacecraft.
Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the attitude toward medical health information in the dental hygiene students. Methods: The subjects were 370 dental hygiene college students in the metropolitan area. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 350 students from March 2 to May, 3, 2014. Except 20 incomplete answers, data were analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS 12.0 program. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, satisfaction of internet use, and attitude toward medical health information. Results: Most of the students had personal computers and they did not receive computer education. The students used internet in the variety of the fields. Satisfaction level was 3.28 by 5 point Likert scale. The attitude toward medical health information was 3.20. They would not use computer if possible, and the score was 3.50 points that was the highest mark. There was no statistically significant difference in medical health information by the general characteristics of the subjects. Conclusions: The attitude toward medical health information was not fully satisfactory in many fields. The curriculum for the dental hygiene must include step-by-step computer course and the computer education must provide the diverse educational opportunities for the students.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the moderate effects of self monitoring and the ways of thinking on the relationships and the moderate effects of brand credibility and brand attachment on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and the customer attitude holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. To accomplish these purposes, this research divided negative information about a brand into corporate ability and corporate social responsibility. In addition, research also divided product type into functional product and symbolic product. participants are classified as having Low or High self monitoring. and the ways of thinking divided into holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. The following are the summary of hypothesis test: (1)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (2)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (3)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional product. (4)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking aren't more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional(symbolic) product.
Purpose: Brand hearsay refers to information that can be acquired from advertisement, media publicity, and word-of-mouth prior to experiencing products or services of brands. Previous information about brands obtained through brand hearsay affects consumer behavior in choosing brands. Moreover, brand hearsay is an effective communication method in promoting brands to consumers. Thus, bakery franchises need to improve strengths and differentiate characteristics of their brand, thereby attracting more consumers. Therefore, this study investigates relationships the effect of brand hearsay on consumers' brand attitude and brand loyalty in the context of franchised bakery brands. Research design, data, and methodology: A research model was proposed to examine structural relationships between brand hearsay (advertising, publicity, word-of-mouth), brand attitude, and brand loyalty. An online survey was conducted to consumers who had an experience of visiting a franchise bakery. A total of 513 responses were used for data analysis. SPSS 22.0 was used for analyzing general demographics, and SmartPLS 4.0 was used to test validity and reliability of the proposed model. Result: Among attributes of brand hearsay, advertisement and word-of-mouth had positively significant effects on brand attitude, but no significant effect was found between publicity and attitude. Advertisement had a positively significant impact on brand loyalty, while publicity had a negative effect on brand loyalty opposite to hypothesis. Moreover, brand attitude had a statistically significant effect on brand loyalty. Conclusions: In the context of franchise bakeries, brand hearsay contents may change consumers' attitude toward brands but does not increase brand loyalty. Though media publicity does not affect consumers' attitude toward brands, it may decrease brand loyalty when consumers are too exposed to it. In addition, it is necessary to enhance brand attitude to increase brand loyalty of customers. This study provides bakery franchisors and franchisees information about which type of brand hearsay (e.g., advertisement, word-of-mouth, media, publicity) is effective in enhancing brand attitudes and loyalty of consumers. Further studies may include other variables (e.g., trust) in addition to attitude and loyalty, or compare findings based on brand characteristics (e.g., low-to-medium/high prices, store size).
Infomediary, playing an important role in e-commerce, provides refined a product information and the price dispersion of product. This paper use the elaboration likelihood model to explain how level of involvement with a product moderates the impact of price dispersion and product information quality on product attitude. The study produces three major findings : (1) the quality of product information produced by infomediary has a positive effect on consumers' product attitude, (2) For low-involvement consumer, price dispersion of product positively affect consumers' product attitude. For high-involvement consumer, negatively affect, (3) low-involvement consumer are affected by the price dispersion rather than the quality of product information, but high-involvement consumer are affect by price dispersion mainly when the quality of product is low. These finding have implications for on-line infomediaries in terms of how to manage their users.
The study investigated the hygienic practice attitudes of 500 housewives living in the Seoul area through survey. The suey questionnaire evaluated general information, purchasing behaviors, 4 parts of hygienic practice attitude and the associated factors. The subjects were mostly full-time housewives aged in their $30{\sim}40's$, high school graduates from middle-class families who had been married for $6{\sim}10$ years. The mean score for hygienic practice attitude was 2.9 out of 5 point scale, representing a fairly low hygienic practice attitude except for food preparation area(3.4 pt.). Factors affecting hygienic practice attitude were age, occupation, and marriage term. Practice attitude was positively correlated with age (p<0.01). Full-time housewives had better practice attitude. Housewives with <5 and >26 years of marriage showed inferior practice attitude (p<0.05). In addition, food purchasing behaviors were strongly related to hygienic practice attitude. Housewives gathering hygiene information from mass media maintained a significantly higher practice attitude (p<0.05), and so did the housewives focusing on 'nutrition' and 'freshness' when fish and frozen foods were purchased (p<0.05). In contrast, housewives focusing on cost had a significantly lower practice attitude (p<0.05). In conclusion, the level of hygienic practice attitude of housewives was fairly low and was affected by age, occupation status, marriage term and several aspects of purchasing behaviors. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct training and education for housewives to improve their hygienic practice attitude and awareness of hygiene.
As imported fashion products are increasing in the marketplace, country of origin information becomes a powerful product cue that can be used to gain competitive advantages of fashion brands. This study assessed the impact of multiple country of o.igin information(origin of brand and origin of production) on attitude toward the brand and product evaluation. Especially, the influence product price level was also examined. Jean was used as product stimuli and students were respondents for the empirical study. Results of this study affirmed the importance of country of brand origin and price information in brand attitude formation and product evaluation. Country of brand origin information and interaction effects of brand origin-price were significant for brand attitude formation. Country of brand origin and price information had significant influence on evaluation of Jean products.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of brand message type on the object relevance between consumers and brands and to identify the mediation role of the object relevance in the effect of the message type on brand attitude. Research design, data, and methodology - Types of pride are classified into hubristic pride and authentic pride, and brand message types are divided into ability message and warmth message. Restaurant brand was selected by empirical study, and the experiment was performed with 2 (pride type: hubristic versus authentic) × 2 (message type: ability message versus warmth message) between-subjects design. The subjects of the experiment consisted of the undergraduates taking courses related to marketing. A preliminary step was taken to explore the difference in the perceived level of object relevance induced from each type of message between the consumer group that felt hubristic pride and the other group that felt authentic pride. This study analyzed the mediating role of the object relevance in the effects of the message type on brand attitude by means of Bootstrap method for each of the pride groups. Results - The results from the empirical analysis are summed up as follows. Regardless of pride types they felt in advance, consumers perceived their object relevance to be higher in the warmth information message than in the ability information message, and object relevance was analyzed to have a positive effect on brand attitude. It was analyzed that, regardless of pride types, object relevance played full mediation roles in the effect of warmth information versus ability information message on brand attitude. Conclusions - Based on the results, it may be suggested that marketers of a brand should endeavor to develop a warmth information message rather than a ability information message to prompt consumers to perceive the object relevance between their own brands and consumers, regardless of pride types, as long as a consumer feels pride in advance. In order to increase the consumers' attitude toward their brand, the brand marketers are solicited to check the object relevance between their brand and consumers, then, seek for the managerial ways to promote such object relevance.
