Application of Inverse Pole Figure to Rietveld Refinement: III. Rietveld Refinement of $SnO_2$ Thin Film using X-ray Diffraction Data

  • The SnO$_2$film was deposited on a corning glass 1737 substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition using a gas mixture of SnCl$_4$, $O_2$, and Ar. The film thickness was measured using $\alpha$-step and was about 9400$\AA$. The conventional X-ray diffractometry and pole figure attachment were used to refine the crystal structure of SnO$_2$ thin film. Six pole figures, (200), (211), (310), (301), (321), and (411), were measured with CoK$_\alpha$ radiation in reflection geometry. The X-ray diffraction data were measured at room temperature using CuK$_\alpha$ radiation with graphite monochromator. The agreement between calculated and observed patterns for the normal direction of SnO$_2$ thin film was not satisfactory due to the severely preferred orientation effect. The Rietveld refinement of heavily textured SnO$_2$ thin film was successfully achieved by adopting the pole density distribution of each reflection obtained from the inverse pole figure as a correction factor for the preferred orientation effect. The R-weighted pattern, R$_wp$, was 15.30%.

소셜네트워크서비스 특성과 수용자 관계성경험이 수용의도에 미치는 영향 (Impact social networking service characteristics and audience' relationship experiences on the degree of acceptance)

  • 본 연구는 SNS 특성요인과 수용자 관계성경험 인식이 SNS 수용의도에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 부가적으로 소셜미디어 특성과 수용자 관계성경험 인식중 SNS 수용의도에 더욱 중요한 요인은 무엇인가를 확인하고자 하였다. 문헌분석을 통해 SNS 특성요인으로 SNS 상호작용성과 SNS 의견교환 및 SNS 유용성을 선정하였으며, 관계성 경험요인으로 플로우와 애착성향을 선정하여 SNS 수용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 회귀분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, SNS 상호작용성과 SNS 의견교환 및 SNS 유용성 특성에 대한 이용자의 인식은 수용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, SNS 관계성 경험 특성인 플로우와 애착성향은 SNS 수용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, SNS 특성보다 SNS 관계성 경험요인이 SNS 수용의도에 더욱 영향력이 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 SNS 수용의도를 높이려는 커뮤니케이터들에게 어떤 SNS 특성요인을 강조해야 하는가뿐아니라 수용자들로 하여금 SNS를 이용하면서 어떤 경험을 해야하는 것이 중요한가에 대한 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

키덜트 패션구매자의 특성과 구매행동 -키덜트 패션감성과 사회심리적 특성을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics and the Buying Behaviors of Kidult Fashion Purchasers - Kidult Fashion Emotion and Socio-Psychological Variables -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the dimensions of kidult fashion emotion and identify the influence of socio-psychological characteristics(nostalgic orientation, change inclination, and self-esteem) on kidult fashion emotion. 'Kidult', composite of kid and adult is indicating a group of people who feel nostalgic for and feel attachment to the products that they have been used in their childhood. A questionnaire was prepared in the survey and a total of 474 women in their twenties and thirties who had purchased the kidult fashion products were selected. The research findings are as follows: 1. Kidult fashion emotion can be classified as 5 factors: pursuits of fashion emotion, seeking girlish image emotion, preference for character emotion, seeking fun emotion, and past oriented emotion. 2. Socio-psychological variable that affected kidult fashion emotion is turned out change inclination. 3. The higher the seeking girlish image and pursuit of fashion emotion tendencies, the more they purchase the kidult fashion products. Based on these results, kidult fashion emotions are not the attachment to the past but positive expression of self and individuality.

Prussian blue immobilization on various filter materials through Layer-by-Layer Assembly for effective cesium adsorption

  • Prussian blue (PB) is well known for its excellent $Cs^+$ ions adsorption capacity. Due to the high dispersibility of PB in aqueous phase, composite materials imbedding PB in supporting materials have been introduced as a solution. However, building PB particles inside porous supporting materials is still difficult, as PB particles are not fully formed and elute out to water. In this study, we suggest layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly to provide better immobilization of PB on supporting materials of poly vinyl alcohol sponge (PVA) and cellulose filter (CF). Three different PB attachment methods, ex-situ/in-situ/LBL assembly, were evaluated using PB leaching test as well as $Cs^+$ adsorption test. Changes of surface functionality and morphology during PB composite preparation protocols were monitored through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that LBL assembly led to better PB attachment on supporting materials, bringing less eluting PB particles in aqueous phase compared to other synthesis methodologies, such as ex-situ and in-situ synthesis. By enhancing the stability of the adsorbent, adsorption capacity of PVA-PB with LBL improved nine times and that of CF-PB improved over 20 times. Therefore, the results suggest that LBL assembly offers a better orientation for growing PB particles on porous supporting materials.

유체 계면에서 야누스 입자의 흡착 에너지 (Attachment Energy of Janus Particles at Fluid-Fluid Interfaces)

  • 이 총설에서는 야누스 입자가 유체 계면에 흡착할 때, 이들 입자가 가지는 평형 배향에 대한 이론적 접근 방법을 소개하고자 한다. 구형, 타원면, 그리고 아령 모양의 야누스 입자를 모델로 하여, 입자의 모양, 젖음성, 크기가 평형 배향에 강하게 영향을 준다는 사실을 설명하겠다. 특히 야누스 타원면의 경우, 특정 조건에서 두 개의 에너지 최소점이 존재하고, 따라서 이들 입자들이 두 개의 배향(수직 배향과 기울어진 배향)을 동시에 가질 수 있음을 의미한다. 또한 입자들이 각각의 배향을 가질 확률은 두 에너지 최소점 사이의 에너지 장벽에 해당하는 방위각에 의해서 결정된다. 반대로 야누스 아령은 오로지 한 개의 배향만을 취하지만, 입자의 기하학적 그리고 화학적 비등방성과 비대칭성이 증가할수록 중간 배향을 갖게 된다. 중간 배향 상태에서 입자들은 일정 범위 내의 방위각에서 자유롭게 회전할 수 있다. 야누스 입자의 배향에 대한 연구는, 이들 입자들이 유체의 계면에 비가역으로 흡착할 때, 개별 입자들의 배향이 입자간 상호 작용, 회합 현상, 그리고 더 나아가 유변학적 성질에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성을 찾을 수 있다.

브레즐튼 신생아 행동평가법을 이용한 일지역 신생아들의 행동 특성에 관한 연구 (Behavioral Characteristics of Local Korean Neonates by Brazelton′s NBAS)

  • This study assessed behavioral characteristics of 73 normal neonates in Daegu area using the NBAS. Being one of few studies on this topic, the study is to document and to accumulate data on the neonatal behaviors of Korean babies. Overall scores were at moderate levels in 6 behavioral clusters including Habituation, Social Interactive, Motor System, State Organization, and State Regulation. Autonomic Stability showed relative stableness. Scores of Orientation were higher in neonates of working mothers and rural mothers. Neonates of mothers with no abortion history have higher scores in Motor System and State Organization. Score of State Organization was higher in neonates of mothers with no habitual use of amenity during their pregnancy. Scores of Habituation and State Organization, as well as scores of Motor System with State Organization, State Regulation and Autonomic Stability were positively correlated. Scores of Habituation and State Organization indicate that babies are agreeable and even tameable that is advantageous for attachment to caregiver.

Ultrasound-Aided Monolayer Assembly of Spherical Silica Nanobeads

  • In modern science and technology, the organization of building blocks, such as spherical particles and zeolite, is important to form a nanostructure. So, it is essential to develop methods for organizing them into large scale for many precise applications. Up to now, reflux and stirring is widely used method for organization of colloidal particles. However, because this method is hard to organize building block with high coverage and uniform orientation, it is necessary to research another method. In this work, we synthesized spherical silica particles using St$\"{o}$ber method and organized them on the glass which is coated with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (CP-TMS) and polyethyleneimine (PEI) using Sonication method. Although spherical silica particles are difficult to attach on the glass due to their small attachment site, we improved this problem by coating PEI. We introduced two mode of reaction promotion, sonication (SO) and sonication with stacking between the bare glass (SS), and investigated degree of coverage (DOC) and degree of close packing (DCP).

리미티드 에디션 패션제품 구매자의 구매의사결정과정에 관한 연구 (A Qualitative Research on Purchase Decision-Making Process by Limited Edition Fashion Consumers)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify the characteristics of limited edition fashion consumers, to analyze their purchase decision-making processes, and to examine negative factors of consumers' recognition toward limited edition fashion products. A qualitative investigation was conducted by doing in-depth interviews with 11 selected consumers in their twenties and thirties who have actively purchased and consumed limited edition fashion products. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, there are four sub-categories of appearance management activity, acceptance of fashion trend, information-seeking behavior, and hedonic shopping orientation for the limited edition fashion consumers' characteristics. Second, the purchase decision-making process of limited edition fashion consumers are identified as seven steps: need recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, planning and courtship, purchase, post-purchase evaluation, and post-purchase behavior. Courtship/attachment formation and post-purchase behavior are unique steps when compared to general purchase decision-making process. Third, this study identified negative factors of consumers' recognition toward limited edition this study in order to suggest several improvement plans for enterprises using limited marketing. Four sub-categories are examined: outrageous price, tricks of company, fatigue due to purchasing competition, and re-sellers. In conclusion, this study indicates that the purchase decision-making process of limited edition consumers, which involves two distinctive steps including courtship/attachment formation and post-purchase behavior, can be differentiated from general consumers. The results of this study provides preliminary data for further research for in-depth analysis of limited edition consumers.

사회적 미션이 사회적기업 여성근로자의 재직의도에 미치는 조절효과 : 융합적 접근 모색 (Assessing the Impact of Social Mission on Retention Intention of Female Employees in Social Enterprises)

  • 사회적기업은 영리성을 추구함에도 불구하고 사회적미션 지향의 조직이다. 미션 지향(mission attachment)은 근로자를 동기화할 수 있고 근로를 유지할 수 있게 하는 강력한 인적자원관리 도구로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구는 사회적기업에 종사하는 여성근로자의 재직의도에 미치는 영향요인을 밝히고 동시에 사회적미션 지향성이 고용불안 및 직무만족과 재직의도간의 관계를 조절하는 역할을 하는지 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석(Logistic Regression)을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 여성근로자의 82.3%가 사회적기업에 잔류할 의향이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적 미션 지향성은 여성근로자의 고용불안이 재직의도에 미치는 관계에 있어 부(-)적인 영향으로 미쳐 완화하는 효과를 나타났다. 결국 사회적기업이 여성친화적 일자리가 되기 위해서는 외재적 고용 조건뿐만 아니라 사회적 미션과 같은 내재적 노동 조건도 고려할 필요성에 대한 함의를 제시하였다.

횡단방향(橫斷方向) 응력파(應力波) 방법(方法)에 의(依)한 라디에타소나무의 초기부후(初期腐朽) 평가(評價) (Assessment of Incipient Decay of Radiata Pine Wood Using Stress-wave Technique in the Transverse Direction)

  • The feasibility of using stress-wave technique in the transverse direction for the assessment of early stages of decay was investigated using compression test specimens having different annual ring orientations subjected to decay by Tyromyces palustris for various time intervals. Decay detection, quantitative assessment of decay, and the prediction of residual strength of decayed wood with less than five percent weight loss can be feasible using stress-wave parameters (wave velocity, wave impedance, and stress-wave elasticity) and their percent reduction due to decay, measured by stress-wave technique in the transverse direction. The use of stress-wave technique in the transverse direction for the application of this technique to structural members in service is desirable, when considering the easiness of attachment of accelerometers of stress-wave measuring device on the surface of members and also accurate detection of localized decayed areas. In stress-wave technique in the transverse direction, stress-wave parameters measured were different according to the angles between wave propagation path and annual ring, due to the anisotropy of wood structure. Therefore, it is recommended to use percent reduction in stress-wave parameters instead of stress-wave parameters. This evaluation method using percent reduction in stress-wave parameters is ideal when it is impossible to observe annual ring orientation on the transverse surface of wood.
