수직점프 시 발의 형태학적 특징과 하지관절의 운동역학적 변인과의 관계 (Relationship between Foot Morphology and Biomechanical Variables of the Lower Extremity Joints during Vertical Jump)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to measure the morphological characteristics of the foot and biomechanical variables of the lower extremity joints during vertical jump and investigate the relationship between foot morphology and biomechanics of vertical jump. Method: 24 men in their 20s (age: 22.42 ± 1.41 yrs, height: 173.37 ± 4.61 cm, weight: 72.02 ± 6.21 kg, foot length: 251.70 ± 8.68 mm) participated in the study. Morphological characteristics of the foot included the length of the first toe, the length of the second toe, and the horizontal length from the center of ankle joint to the achilles tendon (Plantar Flexion Moment Arm [PFMA]). Biomechanical variables were measured for plantar flexor strength of the ankle joint and peak angular velocity, moment, and power of the lower extremity joint during vertical jump. Results: There was a significant correlation between the length of the first toe and plantar flexion strength at 30°/s [r=.440, p=.016], the angular velocity of the metatarsophalangeal [MTP] joint [r=-.369, p=.038] while significant correlations between PFMA and the angular velocities of the knee joint [r=.369, p=.038] and ankle joint [r=.420, p=.021] were found. There were also significant correlations between the length of the first toe and the maximum moment of the hip joint [r=.379, p=.034], and the length of the second toe and the power of the hip joint [r=-.391, p=.029]. Finally, significant correlations between PFMA and the power of the ankle joint [r=.424, p=.019] and MTP joint [r=.367, p=.039] were found. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the length of the toe and PFMA would be related to the function of the lower extremity joint. Therefore, this should be considered when designing the functional structure of a shoe. Furthermore, this relationship can be applied to intensive training for the plantar flexors and toe flexors to improve power in athletic performance.

평행봉 Belle 기술동작의 운동학적 분석 (A Kinematical Analysis of Belle Motion on Parallel Bars)

  • This study is to define how the difference of athletic change influence on the last regrasp after somersault in Belle movement of parallel bars. For his study, the following conclusion was produced by analysis of athletic change by means of three dimensional visual image in three athlete of nation. 1. As the picture of S1, there are total used time(2.01 sec), S3(2.17 sec) and S2(2.19 sec). In case of a short needed time, it is difficult for them to perform the remaining movement of the vertical elevating flight easily and comfortably, it is judged as performing the small movement with restrict swing. 2 In the change of body center sped by each event, it is calculated as $-89.1^{\circ}$ the narrowest in S1, $-81.96^{\circ}$ the widest and then $86.34^{\circ}$ in S3. In E3 event, average compound speed is 4.07m/s, S2 showed the fastest speed of 4.14m/s whereas S1 the narrowest angle of 3.95m/s. 3. A shoulder joint and coxa are the period of mention in E3. In E4 which was pointed out the longest vertical distance, S2 that is indicated the highest vertical height as the period of detach in parallel bars. showed -3.91m. This is regarded as a preparatory movement for dynamic performance after using effectively elastic movement of shoulder joint and coxa while easily going up with turning back movement. In the 5th phrase, long airborne time and vertical change position is showed as the start while regrasping securely air flight movement from high position. 4. In E5, a long flight time and a long vertical displacement were shown as the regrasp after somersault efficiently in high position with stability from the point of the highest peak of the center of the body. Especially, S2 is marked as a little bit long position, while S1 is reversely indicated as performing somersault and unstable motion in a low position. 5. In E3, at the point of the largest extension of the shoulder joint and hip joint the shoulder joint is largely marked in $182^{\circ}$ and the hip point $182^{\circ}$ in S2. The shoulder joint is marked at the smallest angle in $177^{\circ}$ and the hip point $176^{\circ}$ in S1. And S1 is being judged by its performance of the less self - confident motion with lessening a breath of swing. S2 makes the most use of flexion and extension of the shoulder joint and the hip joint effectively. It was performed greatly with swinging and dropping the rotary movement and the rotary inertia naturally. 6. In E6, as the point of regrasp of the upper arm in parallel bars it is recognized by the that of components of vertical and horizontal velocity stably. During this study, the insufficient thing and the study on the parallel bars at a real game later are more activated than now. If it is really used as the basic materials by means of Belle Picked Study of Super E level after Bell movement, you may perceive the technique movement previously and perform without difficulty. Especially, such technique as crucifix is quite advantageous for oriental people thanks to small body shape condition. In conclusion we will nicely prepare for our suitable environment to gradually lessen trials and errors by analyzing and studying kinematically this movement.

Creeping bentgrass의 생육과 디봇피해 회복을 위한 질소의 유형별 효과 (Evaluating Various Nitrogen Sources for Divot Recovery on Creeping bentgrass)

  • Creeping bentgrass 는 골프장의 티나 퍼팅그린 그리고 경기장과 같이 집중관리가 요구되는 곳에 가장 많이 사용되는 잔디의 종류중 하나이다. 골프장에서 계속해서 발생하는 디봇과 같은 피해는 골프장을 관리하는데 있어서 가장 큰 장애요인중 하나이다. 디봇피해를 회복하기 위한 많은 연구결가가 선행 되었음에도 불구하고, 질소의 유형에 따른 디봇피해의 회복에 대해서는 그 연구결과가 제한적이다. 본 연구는 creeping bentgrass 에 발생한 디봇 피해에 대한 질소의 유형별 효과에 대해 알아보기 위해서 수행되었다. 11가지 질소가 creeping bentgrass 'Penncross' 에 시비되었다. 첫번째 시비처리 이전에 일정한 단위규격당 디봇피해가 만들어 졌으며 피해가 생긴 빈자리에 원토양이 채워졌다. 실험기간동안 잔디의 색과 질이 평가되었다. 질소의 분해속도에 따른 효과는 디봇피해를 회복시키거나 creeping bentgrass 생육에 대해 영향을 미치지는 않았다. 총 4번에 걸쳐 시비한 urea 처리구는 질소가 시비되지 않은 대조구와 비교했을때 디봇의 회복이나 creeping bentgrass 생육에 대해 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 디봇피해에 대한 회복과 creeping bentgrass 생육에 대해 polyon 제품군, 특히 polyon mini (41-0-0)가 가장 좋은 효과를 보여 주었다. 본 실험결과 입자의 지름이 작은 완효성질소가 입자의 지름이 큰 완효성질소나 속효성질소 보다 creeping bentgrass 에 발생한 디봇피해의 회복에 좋은 효과를 나타냈다.

울산지역 중.고등학교 펜싱선수의 적극적인 영양지원을 위한 식사 일정 개발 (Development of Dietary Schedule for Improved Nutritional Support during Training Period of Junior & Senior High School Fencers in Ulsan City)

  • This study was conducted in order to improve nutritional support based on analysis of the eating habits and training schedule of junior and senior high school fencers. A survey was conducted on 30 fencers (junior boys=9, girls=7; senior boys=4, girls=10) using a questionnaire. Total daily calorie intakes were 2325.7${\pm}$1168.5 kcal (boy), 2344.0${\pm}$786.3 kcal (girl) for junior fencers and 2183.3${\pm}$726.6 kcal (boys), 2654.4${\pm}$1043.6 kcal (girls) for senior fencers. Nutrients below the RDIs were riboflavin and vitamin C for junior boy fencers and vitamin A, riboflavin, niacin, and vitamin C for senior boy fencers. The rates of the participants who had obtained nutritional information were 44.4% (boys) and 14.3% (girls) for junior fencers and 50.0% (boys) and 80.0% (girls) for senior fencers. Approximately half of the fencers had meals twice a day (55.6% for junior boy fencers, 57.1% for junior girl fencers, and 50.0% for senior fencers). The number of the fencers who were interested in nutrition varied: 66.7% and 28.6% of the junior boy and girl fencers answered they were interested in nutrition, while 25% and 60% of the senior boy and girl fencers showed interest in nutrition issues. Recommendations of total calories were 2,874 kcal (boys) and 2,377 kcal (girls) for junior fencers and 3,398 kcal (boys) and 2,375 kcal (girls) for senior fencers respectively. A dietary plan for the fencing players during training periods was designed to improve their health and performance. Athletes can simultaneously refuel and repair their bodies while contributing to their rehydration goals by consuming fluids that are sources of carbohydrates and protein, e.g., flavored milk and liquid meal supplement. Specific sport nutrition education applicable to athletes, especially young athletes, is recommended under professional support. Professionals may then target particular categories of athletes for the development of educational programs aimed at improving growth and athletic performance.

중·고교 엘리트 역도선수들의 성장기 기초 및 전문체력 특성 변화 (Analysis of Physical Characteristics of Adolescent Weightlifters)

  • 본 연구는 중·고교 엘리트 역도 선수들을 대상으로 훈련에 의한 성장기 체력 및 운동기능 발달수준을 평가하여 종합적인 이해를 토대로 경기력 향상을 위한 효과적인 훈련 및 관리방안을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 충청남도 소재의 중, 고등학교 소속 역도선수[중등부 남자(n=5), 중등부 여자(n=5), 고등부 남자(n=12), 고등부 여자(n=8)]들을 대상으로 약 10개월 간의 역도기반 훈련에 따른 신체조성, 기초체력(근력, 근지구력, 순발력, 유연성, 동적평형성, 협응성) 및 등속성 근 기능(하지 및 요부)의 변화를 추적 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 중·고교 역도선수들은 제지방량의 증가를 중심으로 신체발달이 이루어졌으며, 척추 안정화와 함께 상체와 하체 간의 빠르고 효율적인 힘 전달에 기여하는 배근력과 순발력, 바벨을 안정된 그립으로 통제하기 위해 필요한 높은 악력은 역도 경기력의 중요한 체력요인으로서 고등부 수준에서 진행되는 전문적인 훈련과 경기 경험을 통해 유의하게 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 반면, 역도종목의 경기력에 기여하는 주요 체력요인 이외의 변화는 제한적이었으며, 이는 구체적인 훈련 프로그램의 구성 혹은 선수들의 경력 및 숙련도에 따른 효율성의 차이에서 비롯된 것으로 추론된다. 종합해보면, 성장기 역도선수들의 체력과 운동능력은 엘리트 운동선수의 발전가능성을 평가하는 중요한 요소로서 이 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 역도 선수들의 향상된 경기 성과를 이루는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • 인간의 수행 요소인 국소 근육의 피로는 만성적인 손상을 초래한다. 이 연구는 근전도의 진폭(amplitude)과 근력(muscle force)에서 피로의 영향을 WL과 NWL로 비교하여 조사하였다. 손목 굽힘근의 근력은 시간이 흐름에 따라 WL과 NWL 모두에서 감소되었다. 그러나, WL과 NWL는 시간 경과에 따른 근전도 진폭에서는 차이를 보였다. WL의 근전도 진폭에서는 운동 후 48분에 가장 높은 변화를 보였다. 이를 통하여 근전도의 진폭파 근력이 근피로에 중요한 인자임을 알 수 있다. 이 연구에서 WL은 높은 근전도 진폭을 적용했을 때와 같이 시간이 경과할수록 오랜 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 그것은 훈련을 통해 보다 많은 운동단위를 동원할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 신경근 피로 정도와 이를 회복하기 위해 필요한 기간은 중요하다. 개인적인 훈련량과 적절한 근력 훈련계획을 위한 작업 - 휴식 반복빈도, 그리고 다른 성격의 집단에서 필요한 재활 지침서를 만드는 데 필요하기 때문이다.

마황용량에 따른 이상반응에 관한 예비연구: 무작위배정이중맹검시험 (Adverse Effects of Ma-huang according to Dose : A Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Pilot Study)

  • Background: Ma-huang (Ephedra sinica) has been widely used to treat respiratory disease in oriental medicine for over a hundred years. Ma-huang preparations contain approximately 1.25% ephedrine alkaloids. Recently, the ephedra alkaloids have received much press lately due to adverse effects in those using whole extracts as 'dietary supplements' for weight loss or athletic performance enhancement, and these reports are troubling given the increasing use of Ma-huang by the general public. The purpose of this report is to determine the proper dosage to minimize adverse effects and maximize the potential curative value. Objectives : The object of this study was to find an effective yet low risk dosage of Ma-huang. Methods : The study was designed as a double-blind randomized placebo-controlled trial. The subjects of this study were 26 adults between 20 to 40 of age who agreed to participate in this study. They were allocated through randomization into three groups. Each group took three opaque capsules three times a day. A group (N=9) took one Ma-huang capsule and two placebo capsules, B group (N=8) took two Ma-huang capsules and one placebo capsule, C group (N=9) took three Ma-huang capsules. The total trial periods was two days. To compare the adverse effects of Ma-huang according to dosage, blood pressure and pulse were checked, and other adverse effects were assessed using a morning questionnaire, patient's global assessment scale and Wong-Baker faces pain rating. Results : The following result were obtained: 1. After taking 18 g of Ma-huang per day, pulse rate had a significant increase. 2. After taking more than 6 g of Ma-huang per day, palpitation would be increased significantly. 3. After taking more than 18 g of Ma-huang per day, tiredness would be increased significantly. Conclusion: According to the results, 12 g of Ma-huang per day will minimize adverse effects and maximize the potential curative value.

서울지역 청소년 및 성인의 타우린 섭취량, 혈중 농도 및 소변내 배설량에 관한 연구 (Dietary Intakes, Plasma Levels and Urinary Excretions of Taurine in Adolescents and Adults Residing in Seoul Area)

  • As diverse physiological functions of taurine have been reported, taurine-containing health drinks and products are marketed worldwide for the treatment of various conditions such as improvements of liver, heart and circulatory functions or as an aid to athletic performance. Although animal studies have shown that taurine is fairly safe when supplemented in the diet for an extended period, the effective dose range of taurine for dietary supplements is in controversy. Reports on dietary taurine intakes have been sparse, and would serve as a guideline for determining an appropriate taurine dosage. The present study was aimed to estimate dietary intake level of taurine using the taurine content database of commonly used food stuffs established recently in our laboratory, and also to evaluate plasma concentration and urinary excretion of taurine in adolescents and adults residing in Seoul area. Dietary taurine intakes of the subjects were 219$\pm$16.9mg/day for 16-19 years old(n=123), 177$\pm$18.1mg/day for adults older than 20 years old(n=123). Male subjects(n=115) consumed 216$\pm$21.1mg of taurine/day, while female subjects(n=131) consumed 181$\pm$14.3mg of taurine/day(p<0.05). The level of dietary taurine intake was positively correlated with the levels of dietary intakes of energy, carbohydrate, total lipids, cholesterol, vitamin A, vitamin B$_1$, niacin, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorous, sodium and potassium at p<0.01, and with dietary intakes of iron and animal lipids at p<0.05, respectively. Plasma taurine concentration of subjects were 135$\pm$5.9$\mu$mol/L, which is considered to be within a normal range for healthy subjects. The subjects excreted 1158$\pm$72.7nmol/ of tarine mg creatinine in their urine, which is approximated as 150-170mg of taurine/24hr urine based on the assumption that 18mg creatinine/kg/day is excreted in the urine of healthy adults, and this would be about 80% of the daily taurine intake observed in the same subjects. Dietary taurine intake level was positively correlated with plasma taurine concentration, as well as with urinary taurine excretion corrected by creatinine excretion at p<0.05. The present study was the first report of taurine intake, and plasma concentration and urinary excretion of taurine in a Korean population so far, and these results would serve as an index for the future study evaluating taurine status in a diverse population within and outside Korea. 무산소성 운동이 경력별 레슬링 선수의 피로물질 및 기초체력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Anaerobic Exercise on Fatigue Material and Basic Fitness of Career Wrestlers)

  • 본 논문은 경력별 레슬링선수들을 대상으로 최대무산소성 운동 후 회복과정과 기초체력을 알아보기 위한 실험이다. 첫째, 무산소 파워 테스트에서 집단 및 시기별 결과는 PP, MP, LP 영역에서 집단간 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 혈중 글루코스는 시기별 결과 경력 5년차 레슬링 선수집단에서 유의한 차가 나타났다(p<.001). 셋째, 혈중 젖산농도는 시기별 결과 경력 5년, 10년, 15년 모두 나타났다(p<.001). 넷째, 사이드스텝과 전신반응은 세 집단 모두 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 결론적으로 무산소성 운동 후 선수들의 경기력에 영향을 미치는 무산소 파워, 글루코스, 젖산, 기초체력반응 변화에서 증가와 감소를 나타내고 유의한 차이도 보였다. 그리고 경력에 상관없이 피로회복도에서는 모두 유의한 차이를 보였다. 기초 체력반응에서는 경력 10년 선수집단이 우수한 것으로 생각된다. 그리고 파워 테스트와 글쿠코스 변인에서는 경력 5년차 선수집단이 우수한 것으로 생각된다. 피로도에서도 경력 15년차 선수집단에서 회복능력이 떨어지는 것은 경력과 연령에서의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

고등학교 투척선수들의 plyometric training과 weight training이 순발력, 민첩성 및 최대 근력에 미치는 영향 (The Differential Effects of Plyometric Training and Weight Training on Muscular Power, Agility and Maximal Muscular Strength of the Male and Female High-school Throwers)

  • 본 연구는 육상 투척선수들의 plometric training과 weight training 프로그램 훈련이 순발력 및 민첩성과 최대 근력의 운동능력 향상에 어떠한 영향을 가져오는지 검증하기 위하여 고등학교 재학 중인 투척선수 21명을 대상으로 plyometric training과 weight training을 10주간의 트레이닝을 실시하여 여자 집단(10명)과 남자 집단(11명)으로 분류하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 순발력에 있어서 제자리멀리뛰기, 서전트 점프, 30 m 달리기는 트레이닝 전에 비해 두 집단 모두 향상도를 보였으며, 여자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈다. 민첩성에 있어서 사이드스텝, 버피 스텝, 전신반응 테스트는 트레이닝 전에 비해 모두 향상도를 보였으며, 사이드스텝과 버피 스텝은 여자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈으며, 전신반응 테스트는 남자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈다. 하지 근력에 있어서 squat, leg press는 트레이닝 전에 비해 모두 향상도를 보였으며, 여자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈다. 무릎 관절 등속성 근력에 있어서 왼쪽, 오른쪽 신근력과 굴근력은 트레이닝 전에 비해 모두 향상도를 보였으며, 왼쪽 신근력은 남자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈으며, 왼쪽 굴근력, 오른쪽 신근력, 오른쪽 굴근력은 여자 집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈다. 상지의 근력에 있어서 Bench press, 배근력은 트레이닝전에 비해 모두 향상도를 보였으며, 여자집단이 더 높은 향상도를 나타냈다.
