파이썬과 로봇을 활용한 인공지능(AI) 교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of Artificial Intelligence Instructional Program using Python and Robots)

  • 인공지능(AI) 기술의 발전에 따라 많은 분야에서 인공지능 활용 방안에 대한 논의가 활발하게 일어나고 있으며 교육 분야에서도 인공지능 인재 양성을 위한 각종 정책이 추진되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인공지능 기술을 활용한 로봇 프로그래밍 프레임워크를 제안하고 이를 기반으로 머신러닝(Machine Learning) 분야에서 높은 빈도로 활용되는 파이썬(Python)과 교육 현장의 활용도가 높은 교육용 로봇을 활용하여 인공지능(AI) 교육 프로그램을 제안하였다. 국제자동차공학회(SAE)에서 제시하는 자율주행자동차 수준(0~5단계)을 4단계로 단순화하고 이를 기반으로 로봇에 부착된 카메라가 선(객체)을 인지(Perception)하고 검출(Object detection)하여 스스로 움직일 수 있는 라인 디텍터(Line Detector)를 만드는 것을 목표로 하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 단순히 특정 프로그래밍 언어를 활용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 정형화된 형태가 아니라 생활 속의 복잡하고 비구조화된 문제를 자기주도적으로 정의하고 인공지능(AI) 기술을 기반으로 해결하는 경험을 가지는데 그 의의가 있다.

  • The development of artificial intelligence in the field of construction and construction is revitalizing. The performance and development techniques of artificial intelligence are changing rapidly, but if you look at the cases of domestic construction sites, they are using technologies from 5 to 7 years ago. It is right to follow a stable method in consideration of commercialization, but the previous AI development method requires more manpower and time to develop than the current technology. In addition, in order to actively utilize artificial intelligence technology, customized artificial intelligence is required to be applied to ever-changing changes in construction sites. it is the reality As a result, even if good AI technology is secured at the construction site, it is reluctant to introduce it because there is no advantage in terms of time and cost compared to the existing method to apply it only to some processes. Currently, an AI technique with a faster development process and accurate recognition has been developed to cope with a fluid situation, so it will be important to understand and introduce the rapidly changing AI development method.

Roadmap Toward Certificate Program for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence

  • In this paper, we propose the AI certification standardization activities for systematic research and planning for the standardization of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI). The activities will be in two-fold. In the stage 1, we investigate the scope and possibility of standardization through AI reliability technology research targeting international standards organizations. And we establish the AI reliability technology standard and AI reliability verification for the feasibility of the AI reliability technology/certification standards. In the stage 2, based on the standard technical specifications established in the previous stage, we establish AI reliability certification program for verification of products, systems and services. Along with the establishment of the AI reliability certification system, a global InterOp (Interoperability test) event, an AI reliability certification international standard meetings and seminars are to be held for the spread of AI reliability certification. Finally, TAIPP (Trustworthy AI Partnership Project) will be established through the participation of relevant standards organizations and industries to overall maintain and develop standards and certification programs to ensure the governance of AI reliability certification standards.

  • Expectations for artificial intelligence technology are increasing, and its utility value is growing, leading to active use in the public sector. The use of artificial intelligence technology in the public sector has a positive impact on aspects such as improving public work efficiency and service quality, enhancing transparency and reliability, and contributing to the development of technology and industries. For these reasons, major countries including Korea are actively developing and using artificial intelligence in the public sector. However, artificial intelligence also presents issues such as bias, inequality, and infringement of individuals' right to self-determination, which are evident even in its utilization in the public sector. Especially the use of artificial intelligence technology in the public sector has significant societal implications, as well as direct implications on limiting and infringing upon the rights of citizens. Therefore, careful consideration is necessary in the introduction and utilization of such technology. This paper comprehensively examines the legal issues that require consideration regarding the introduction of artificial intelligence in the public sector. Methodological discussions that can minimize the risks that may arise from artificial intelligence and maximize the utility of technology were proposed in each process and step of introduction.

Development and Validation of a Digital Literacy Scale in the Artificial Intelligence Era for College Students

  • This study developed digital literacy instruments and tested their effectiveness on college students' perceptions of AI technologies. In creating a new digital literacy test tool, we reviewed the concept and scale of digital literacy based on previous studies that identified the characteristics and measurement of AI literacy. We developed 23 preliminary questions for our research instrument and used a quantitative approach to survey 318 undergraduates. After conducting exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, we found that digital literacy in the age of AI had four ability sub-factors: critical understanding, artificial intelligence social impact recognition, artificial intelligence technology utilization, and ethical behavior. Then we tested the sub-factors' predictive powers on the perception of AI's usefulness and ease of use. The regression result shows that the most common powerful predictor of the usefulness and ease of use of AI technology was the ability to use AI technology. This finding implies that for college students, the ability to use various tools based on AI technology is an essential competency in the AI era.

  • 인공지능이 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 기술로 주목받는 가운데, 인공지능에 대한 기본적인 소양을 길러주기 위한 교육의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 초·중등학생을 위한 프로젝트 기반의 AI 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하고 그 효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 학생들은 3인 1조로 편성되어 2박 3일 일정의 프로젝트 학습을 수행하였으며, 이 과정에서 자신이 원하는 문제를 선택하고 인공지능 기술을 활용해 이를 해결하는 구체적인 산출물을 제작하였다. AI 프로젝트 수업의 효과를 알아보기 위해 활동 전후 학습자의 인공지능에 대한 태도와 효능감의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, AI 프로젝트 수업 이후 인공지능에 대한 태도와 효능감 모두에서 통계적으로 유의미한 수준의 긍정적인 변화가 확인되었다. 이러한 변화는 인지된 프로그래밍 언어 활용 수준이 높을수록, 프로젝트 학습에 대한 흥미 수준이 높을수록 더욱 뚜렷하게 나타났다.

A Study of Artificial Intelligence Generated 3D Engine Animation Workflow

  • This article is set against the backdrop of the rapid development of the metaverse and artificial intelligence technologies, and aims to explore the possibility and potential impact of integrating AI technology into the traditional 3D animation production process. Through an in-depth analysis of the differences when merging traditional production processes with AI technology, it aims to summarize a new innovative workflow for 3D animation production. This new process takes full advantage of the efficiency and intelligent features of AI technology, significantly improving the efficiency of animation production and enhancing the overall quality of the animations. Furthermore, the paper delves into the creative methods and developmental implications of artificial intelligence technology in real-time rendering engines for 3D animation. It highlights the importance of these technologies in driving innovation and optimizing workflows in the field of animation production, showcasing how they provide new perspectives and possibilities for the future development of the animation industry.

특허분석을 통한 인공지능 기술 분야 경쟁력 분석: 특허 시장성과 기술력 질적 분석을 중심으로 (Competitiveness Analysis for Artificial Intelligence Technology through Patent Analysis)

  • Purpose Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a core technology, leading the 4th industrial revolution. This study aims to diagnose the Korean's national competitiveness for AI technologies through patent analyses. Design/methodology/approach In this study, KIWEE and Derwent Innovation databases were used as data source of patents. we extracted 10,510 AI patents data with keywords and classified them into 15 subcategories of AI technology. We executed patent analyses for activity index, patent intensity index, technology strength, and patent family size and diagnosed Korea's national competitiveness in AI industry. Findings The results showed that Korea is less competitive than the United States and Japan in AI industry. However, patent amount has increased since 2010, which is encouraging result. This study has implication on the need for human and R&D investment in AI industry.

  • The term "artificial intelligence" is considered a component of sophisticated technological developments, and several intelligent tools have been developed to assist organizations and entrepreneurs in making business decisions. Artificial intelligence (AI) is defined as the concept of transforming inanimate objects into intelligent beings that can reason in the same way that humans do. Computer systems can imitate a variety of human intelligence activities, including learning, reasoning, problem-solving, speech recognition, and planning. This study's objective is to provide responses to the questions: Which factors should be taken into account while deciding whether or not to use AI applications? What role do these elements have in AI application adoption? However, this study proposes a framework to explore the significance and relation of success factors to AI adoption based on the technology-organization-environment model. Ten critical factors related to AI adoption are identified. The framework is empirically tested with data collected by mail surveying organizations in Vietnam. Structural Equation Modeling is applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that Technical compatibility, Relative advantage, Technical complexity, Technical capability, Managerial capability, Organizational readiness, Government involvement, Market uncertainty, and Vendor partnership are significantly related to AI applications adoption.

  • 기술의 발전으로 인공지능은 계속해서 그 모습을 달리하며 금융, 제조, 의료, 서비스, 예술과 같은 다양한 산업 분야에 새롭게 적용되고 있다. 항상 발전하는 분야인 만큼 인공지능이 현대의 인간사회에 어떠한 변화를 가져오고 있는지 알 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능의 개념과 인공지능 기술이 현대의 산업분야에 구현된 방식에 대한 분석을 통해 사회에 미치는 긍정적인 영향과 부정적인 영향을 연구하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 인공지능이 우리의 삶에 얼마나 가까이 다가왔는지를 알고 이에 대응하기 위한 초석을 마련하고자 한다.
