Holography provides a medium for creative visual experiences in space and scale. It has been firmly established as a tool for scientific and engineering studies. It could be creatively used in interior architecture and display as a practical device and as a form of art. Basic principles and features of holography are explained. Design of the holographic systems are illustrated in some interior architectural applications. It is believed that holographic elements can make a valuable contribution to interior architecture design by controlling light and creating new concepts of colour and space.

생산공정중에서 검사공정이 비교적 늦게 자동화되어 왔으나 Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM)과 computer의 결합을 통하여 Computer-Aided Testing(CAT)이 실현되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 CAT에 대한 전반적인 개념을 설명하였으며, CAD 및 CAM과 CAT의 결합, expert system을 이용한 측정계획의 수립, vision을 이용한 측정자동화의 경향을 설명하고 있다. 또한 CAD와 Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM)의 결합에 필요한 data교환 format을 소개한다. 그리고 현재 상용화 되어있는 CAT software들의 기능을 소개한다.

In this paper, fuzzy-ARTMAP neural network is applied for compensating the nonlinearity of satellite communication channel. The fuzzy-ARTMAP is made of using fuzzy logic and ART neural network. By a match tracking process with vigilance parameter, fuzzy ARTMAP neural network achieves a minimax learning rule that minimizes predictive error and maximizes generalization. Thus, the system automatically learns a minimal number of recognition categories, or hidden units, to meet accuracy criteria. Simulation studies are performed over satellite nonlinear channels. The performance of proposed fuzzy-ARTMAP equalizer is compared with MLP-basis equalizers.

A shared-weight neural network that performed classification based on the features extracted with the fuzzy morphological operation is introduced. Learning rules for the structuring elements, degree of membership, and weighting factors are also precisely described. In application to handwritten digit recognition problem, the fuzzy morphological shared-weight neural network produced the results which are comparable to the state-of-art for this problem.

This paper reflects on the state of the art of two kinds of tooth hard tissue (enamel and dentin) bonding with resin cement. After presenting composition of resin cement, concepts of enamel bonding and resin bonding are addressed. Special attention is devoted to the concept and advantage of self-etching technique. Finally, recommended clinical performance regarding bonding to tooth with resin cement is summarized.

The art of designing and analyzing fault-tolerant computers is surveyed with special emphasis on problems of analyzing the behavior of computers that have autonomous repair capability. The survey covers the following topics : (1) general issues in computer reliability, (2) fault-tolerance state relations and requirements, (3) computational hierarchy, (4) fault characteristics, (5) fault diagnosis, (6) fault-tolerance schemes for logic network and machines, (7) fault-coverage effects, and (8) fault-tree analysis of coverage. This paper does not include techniques for verifying nonredundant hardware or system software designs or for verifying the correctness of application programs.

인터넷의 발전은 사용자에게 많은 혜택을 제공하는 한편 다양한 역기능 또한 가져오고 있다. 이러한 역기능을 제거하기 위해서는 온라인 상에서 사용자의 나이를 확인하여 각 연령에 맞는 콘텐츠를 적정하게 제공하여야 한다. 현재 온라인 상에서 나이를 검증하는 기술들은 다양하게 개발되고 있으나 각 기술들간에 나이 정보를 공유하는 기술이 제공되어 있지 않아 효과적인 대처가 어려운 상황이다. 그러므로 나이 정보 공유를 위한 연구개발이 조속히 수행되어야 한다.
