The economic growth of the modern society brought economic expansion of the national income. It is to increase the demand that faced with community or convenience facilities helping living of the residents, but the community facilities in the apartment helping living of residents do not adapt resident living conditions or demands. This study analyzes as follows the use present situation of the community facilities supplied with an apartment plan and building plans. The objective of the study is to understand a problem of an installation standard of community facililities throughout research. The study way was based on literature review, a field study and an interview with manager in the apartments. We are as follows telling the conclusion of this research. The builder must plan the facilities which the resident requests from the plan stage to the conclusion. We must consider the operation method according to the facilities. The facilities must be planed to make the contentment of the resident with the usage.

This study analyzes the residents' preference of apartment unit remodeling proposals for the 3-bay old apartments built in the 1st phase New Town. The remodeling unit plans were previously developed for a 3-bay large-sized unit plan (over 85m2) and a 3-bay medium-sized unit plan (60~85m2). Surveys and interview were conducted with the residnets of the two apartment complexes in Bundang. The contents of the questionnaire consisted of the preferred plan, the reason for the preference, the improvement factors, etc. A total of 88 questionnaires were received. It was found that two-thirds of respondents favored the general 3LDK format, where living rooms and kitchens were located in the middle of the front and rear bay. The one-third of the respondents favored a plan combining the living room and the kitchen in the front. It was also found that the limitation of the remodeling unit plan caused by the location of existing bearing walls should be carefully considered, and that many residents asked additional storage space.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural character of the upper risen architecture(高床式 建築) in Japan. There are few upper risen architecture and architectural remains in Korea. Until now most of Korean researcher recognized that the upper risen architecture is southern regions' form. But there are a few numbers of upper risen buildings in northern regions of Korea and China. Therefore we need to compare northern and southern regions' upper risen architecture. The scope of this study is architectural remains, sites and present buildings about upper risen architecture in Japan. The period of this study is from third to eighth century. The method of this study is the analyses of site plan(the ratio of front and side length) and construction about Japanese Architecture. And then this study compare Japanese with other countries in Korean and Chinese upper risen architecture. Results of the study are below. 1. In Japan, upper risen architecture was introduced into southern regions(southern China and southeast Asia) with rice farming culture. 2. After introduced upper risen architecture, they were influenced many architectural technique of Korean and Chinese. 3. There were many technical improvement(such as foundation stone standing method, high technical wooden frame structure and adaptable triangle frame wall at moisture) the Japanese upper risen architecture in Nara Period(奈良時代). 4. As the results, I found out that there were many similarity Korea and Japan in upper risen architecture. I think that we will try continuous to study another regions' upper risen architecture in order to define conclusion.

This study is aimed at presenting an efficient management plan of user participatory design in a situation where the School Space Innovation Project is in progress. 2 schools that were the targets of the Incheon School Space Innovation Project in 2019 were selected for this, and features such as the physical environment of that classroom, classroom usage plan, and the stepwise outcome of the user participatory design workshop were contemplated. Especially the workshop outcome was compared and analyzed quantitatively, focusing on the actual master plan and zoning plan, in order to identify the feature that opinions of various users are reflected on the actual plan. As a result, the following conclusion could be reached. Firstly, it was confirmed that the expression about the user preferential space influences the classroom usage plan of that classroom. Vague expressions about the whole space held a large majority of the objects for the linguistic expression of the preferential space. The expression mode as limited as the expression of the actions that users want to carry out in the space. On the other hand, when the usage purpose of the classroom was definite, it was confirmed that the demand for furniture·facility is relatively high. Secondly, according to the analysis of zoning for each function, it seems that the stereotype, which is arranged on the basis of the chalkboard at the front of existing classrooms, was applied in the case of the learning zone. However, in cases of other functions, a tendency was identified that the user carries out an image description that reflects the physical features of the space. Sufficient preparation will need to precede for the efficient management of the user participatory design workshop and the acceptance of various opinions. It seems that especially the classroom usage plan, number of workshops, consultation of each step, and the education about the space expression mode affect the master plan.

Purpose: It seems obvious that the hospital structures become more large-sized and tall-risen in Korea today. Nothing is more influential than the vertical core plan on the movements of various people in such large-tall hospitals. The present paper, therefore, aims to study on the efficient hospital core space paying first attention to patients by analysing the data on relations between/among department layouts of vertical and horizontal movements. Methods: This study sampled representative 14 hospitals and drew their degrees of data importance on the basis of precedented relative studies. This study also analysed their placements on the blueprint and made confirmations of their arrangements through their homepage on line. Actual visits were made to make sure of the spacial connections between/among departments in the hospitals as well. Results: Even in emergency case in need for vertical movements, the central main core spaces are usually used, which is because special vertical transportation systems are not provided. In these cases, the main core spaces are very important for those who have to move vertically and/or horizontally according to the locations and types of main cores. While special lifts or dumbwaiters are prepared to install for the important articles, such as samples of pathology department, most patients should share with regular visitors the elevators not separated visually and spatially from them. Implications: Vertical core plans are greatly dependent on the ward types and hospital styles. This study is hopefully expected to contribute itself to the standard setting-up of comfortable and quick vertical core system operations for patients.

The area of domestic urban design and architecture has established its original characteristics as various programs and functions were created in the drastically changing society. Such features have been presented in a certain type of patterns or unique formations, which demand a gradual development of designs in harmony with the functions and roles of the city and thus designers are forced to continue thinking deeply on this matter in their own perspectives. In particular, such demands are outstandingly high in reality in historical cities such as Andong, which this study works on. As the design contest winner is based on the geographical characteristics and locality, Confucianism and seonbi(Korean classical scholar) spirit, which are regarded as a philosophy of value, how the traditional concepts could be reflected in the plan was the focus of the discussion. The conclusions deduced from such a background include the following. First, it is necessary to make an approach on the basis of the concept in traditional architecture at the complex planning level based on the ideology in the implementation plan that requires traditionality for a complex design with contemporary functions. Second, it is important to approach this as an exploration of a solution to globalize Confucian culture in the future based on the cultural characteristics of the region and the environmental characteristics of the surroundings. Third, beginning from a concept that explains the complex to a concept that explains individual buildings, it is necessary to reflect characteristics in which the realization of a traditional space is planned in three dimensions.
Today, the amount of energy consumption in the university campuses is huge. The effort for the energy consumption reduction in university campuses is certainly needed by the following reason; first, contribution to the greenhouse gas discharge reduction demand. Second, energy cost reduction in university campus. Third, contribution to the improvement of the social awareness as the maximum higher educational institutions. The energy consumption analysis of current situation has to be executed for the energy consumption reduction in university campus. The energy reduction possibility in which it exists in university campuses can be understood through the energy consumption analysis. And the application is possible as fundamental data of the policy establishment for the effective energy reduction in university campuses. Especially, the best way to reduce the energy consumption in university campuses that is the energy consumption reduction of buildings. Accordingly, this study derived the plans for improving the performance of energy in the university building by analyzing case study, so this study analyzed the performance of energy for the university building through VE, a program for the analysis of building energy. Based on this result, this study classified the plans improving the efficiency of energy in university building into the plan for passive control and active control respectively, and suggested some concrete plans, and finally evaluated the performance of decreasing energy consumption for each plan.

As ships become larger and construction of offshore plants increases recently, the amount of outsourcing has increased accordingly in the shipyard. Consequently, the system integration in terms of SCM (Supply Chain Management) of information and material flows has become much more important. Especially, since the SCM in the shipbuilding industry is operated in accordance with the production planning in connection with design, purchasing and production process which are the main components of the supply chain, the best production plan has to be established over the whole scheduling activities from the long-term planning to the short-term planning. The paper analyzes the characteristics of the SCM and the production planning system and suggests the need and the direction of APS (Advanced Planning System) development specialized in the supply chain management only for shipbuilding industry. Furthermore, propose a new SCP-Matrix (Supply Chain Planning Matrix), which is the basis of the APS development, appropriate for the shipbuilding industry and draw the core function of the APS module for the practical production plan.
Since pursuing the pleasant life for people, there is an increase of desire to appreciate outstanding scenery with the difference in certain level for perception and understanding of human on landscaping, However, the quality of landscaping has become artificial with the pleasance to be declining due to the urbanization. This study was applied at the site around High One Resort area in Gohan-eup, Jeongseon-gun Gangwon-do for analyzing the areas sensitive to the landscaping change as well as degree of requirement for landscape management for forest landscape management with the focus on presenting the zoning method and the management class classification method. Even if the forest is the same, the function of it is different depending on land use or what resource is placed that the forestry function is found out to present the management plan for each forestry function in the subject site and the result of the management grade classification is analyzed in overlapping to the forestry function level. As a result, from the landscaping management requirement and visual absorption analysis, the result formulated for upper, middle and lower zones to classify the final forestry landscape management degree into 1-4 grades and the management plan is presented on the respective 1-4 grade area for each forestry function. By applying the technique to set the management grade, it was possible to formulate the result to provide the means for integrated management in consideration of the forestry function and management of forestry landscape and resources.
The study on Buddhism architecture in early Joseon dynasty was inactive. The period of King Sejo is important for studying the trend of Buddhism architecture in early Joseon, that was transmitted from the end of Goryeo dynasty, but it was difficult to know its exact situation due to lack of related records. The records were all written by Kim Su-ohn, which are Wongaksabi' 'Sangwonsajungchanggi' 'Bongseonsagi 'Geonginsajungchanggi'. The main hall was mainly second floor and there were necessarily annexed buildings at the right and left of the main hall. So the plane figure of $\Box\Box\Box$ was shown. It was a main stream for main hall. This layout may be referred to search for the origin of the layout in courtyard based structure(中庭形) in the late Joseon dynasty. Most of temples had 3 gates. Some part of horizontal corridor was used as 2 gates and the outer gate, far from main hall, was without corridor. The gate leading to front yard of main hall was called front gate, the next middle gate and the outer gate was Oisamun(外沙門) or Samun(沙門). Im most of the temples, people could enter into the front yard through pavilion which had the function of bell tower. The pavilions were located between front gate and first corridor. It is thought that this layout of the place for making bean curd outside the temple area will contribute to different studies on temples making bean cure in the future. The records about temples's foundation studied above are a little different between temples, but have more similarities. There common denominators represent the architecture tendency of Buddhist temples in the related period. It is thought that such a tendency was also shown on architecture of other temples during the reign of King Sejo as well as Buddhist temples.
