In Korea, there are many attempts to automate architectural design tasks, focusing on government-led national R&D projects and private operators, in order to enhance global competitiveness and productivity of the building service industry. However, according to a survey of architectural design office practitioners, only 25% (9 out of 37) have used it, suggesting that there are fewer cases of practical use in the field compared to research and investment in automation technology development, and there are discrepancies between automation and technology development items required in the field. In this study, the priority of automation of planning and design work of architectural design office practitioners is derived, and a comparative analysis is conducted with domestic architectural design automation service items based on the priority. A survey was conducted on practitioners of domestic architectural design offices to derive automation priorities for 19 items of architectural planning and design work. Based on the derived priorities, the degree of reflection of the working-level automation needs of domestic services was confirmed by comparing them with the domestic architectural planning and design automation service items. As a result, it was confirmed that domestic architectural planning and design automation services did not properly reflect the priority of planning and design work automation of architectural design office practitioners. This suggests that it is necessary to reflect the priorities derived in this study in technology development in order to increase the cases of practical use of the automation technology in the working environment and improve the productivity of service.

The purpose of this study was to understand the timing of Gentrification by the study through the analysis of licensing data for food service businesses under the correlation with regional policies and systems. In addition, by analyzing the change in location patterns of the food service business in the district unit plan zones, the cause, development patterns and regional differences were identified. Starting with the Seoul hanok declaration in 2008, the approval of the food service business began to increase, and the floating population increased with the restoration of the Suseong Valley in 2012, and the concentration of food service business increased significantly on the waterway (Jahamun-ro 7-gil). Since the designation of Ikseon-dong as an urban environment readjustment zone in 2004, the approval of new food service business has been very low until around 2014, when the cooperative establishment committee is dissolved, and as the district unit plan for the preservation of hanok and regional management is being established, the number of new permits has exploded to date and restaurants in hanok conservation zones has been active.

As we make every effort to improve our health, the needs and interests of the rehabilitation medicine is increasing. And as society gets more advanced and as the quality of life become higher, rehabilitation department will be important for general hospital and we need the certain guidelines about it. In this study, selected 8 general hospitals in the metropolitan area are analyzed by the analysis of drawings and comparison. The important architectural planning of rehabilitation department are the connection with orthopedics and neurosurgery and the position for convenience approach. Rehabilitation department has 0.63~1.07% of general hospital area. And the rehabilitation department is divided into four branches - medical service space, office space, public space and support space. As the number of programs in the rehabilitation department is increasing, the planning will be considered for the flexible use. And this study proposed the programs, necessary spaces, space composition and basic planning of "rehabilitation department".

Well-dying is as important as Well-Being because dying is also a natural part of life. Recently, due to the change of lifestyles, cancer, AIDS and other chronic diseases cause drastic increase of mortality rate. Needs for hospice services are growing as many terminal patients interested in quality of life during their end of life period. They want calm and dignity in case process as well as pain-relieving. However, there is not many researches on the architectural planning of hospice facilities and their service system as well as government regulations. This study focuses on the German hospice facilities which have developed advanced models through researches on service contents and architectural planning. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for designing hospice facilities through analyzing 7 cases of German hospice facilities with different characteristics.

Facing the aging society in Korea, the supply of elderly care services has to be increased. Among these services short-stay care service is one of the alternative service connecting home and communities and this service is at the beginning stage in Korea. This paper aims to identify the current status and characteristics of short-stay care facilities in Korea. On the bases of survey and analysis the basic data for architectural planning and design of short-stay care facilities for elderly have been proposed.

This study was designed to investigate present conditions and needs for ICT-based elderly group home remodeling by applying kinetic principle. to provide useful planning factor to make elderly housing more suitable for supporting elderly residents remodeling. This study surveyed 20 elderly care assistants and nurses who have employed at elderly group homes and presented them with 7 categories of 44 elderly home remodeling planning elements to check currently existing services in their elderly housing and evaluate their need for each service with regard to their residents' needs.

From the latter half of 20's century, the numbers of dental service workers and dental facilities are noticeably increased and dental patients want the higher-classed and specialized dental service. For the increased facilities and user's needs at dental college hospital, the present condition of dentistry, special features and the field study at dental college hospital are surveyed for this study. The purpose of this study is to provide a architectural planning data on the dental college hospital for keeping up with the development of dentistry.

The purpose of the study is to define disabilities, to introduce the historical background, to classify the types of rehabilitative services, to examine significant architectural case studies, and to point the way toward enhanced architectural solutions for healthier rehabilitative service environment for the patients. The case study will provide a brief introduction to the selected cases and examine design concepts and planning factors.

Purpose: The research looks at differences between the 'General ward' and the 'Comprehensive nursing ward' in Seoul Medical Center, regarding the facility improvements and changes in nursing services. It investigates and analyzes spatial problems and improvement needs through a survey and conduct investigation of staffs. It is to propose the primary data for the architectural planning of the future ward with the comprehensive nursing service. Methods: Targeting the comprehensive nursing ward, changes of the physical environment and spatial problems are analyzed through a field survey, behavior investigation, present-condition investigation, and floor plan analysis. Results: The workforce is increased by approximately twice the amount of the nursing staffs in the comprehensive nursing ward, compared to the pre-general ward. When utilizing the general ward, various spatial problems arise due to the restrictions of the facility condition. Because Sub N.S is an important facility as a part of the nursing work function in the ward of the comprehensive nursing service, the opinions of staffs must be considered when selecting a location and composing a space. Implications: It can be used as a primary data for the comprehensive nursing ward when architectural planning of a new hospital.

최근 질병 치료과정에서 의료서비스에 대한 인식이 부각되면서 의료기관의 서비스 공간과 대기시간에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 종합병원 이용 시 방문자의 장시간 대기가 불가피하고, 이것은 환자에게 심리적 불안 및 부정적 감정으로 다가 올 것이다. 이는 의료소비자들의 불만을 가중시키고, 병원의 재방문 가능성을 낮추는 요인으로 작용하기 때문에 병원의 마케팅 및 이미지 제고를 위해서 대기시간의 연구가 절실한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 의료서비스과정에서 발생하는 대기시간의 변수인 대기 환경과 대기 환자의 태도가 체감 대기 시간에 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 알아보고 병원 계획의 대안을 제시한 것을 연구목적으로 한다.
