Two new species of litter-inhabiting leptonetid spiders in mountainous region from Korea are described: Leptoneta chilbosanensis sp. nov. from Mt. Chilbosan, Gyeonggi-do, and Leptoneta naejangsanensis sp. nov. from Mt. Naejangsan, Jeollabuk-do from Korea.

Tow unrecorded species of orb weavers belonging to genus Neoscona(Araneae: Araneidae) which were recently described from China for the first tiem were described from Korea. Korean spiders belonging to genus Neoscona, therefore, becomes 10 species with 8 recorded species.

Three new species of the genus Eupoa are described from China. They are Eupoa hainanensis sp. nov., Eupoa maculata sp. nov. and Eupoa yunnanensis. sp. nov. Diagnoses, distribution data, figures of body and genital organ are given to each species.

In the present paper, the author describes a newly recorded species, Araniella yaguinumai Tanikawa, 1995, from Korea. The specimens were collected from Chulwon, Kangwon-do, Korea. The examined specimens are deposited in the collection of the Arachno-logical Institute of Korea.

Gongylidioides kaihotsui Saito and Ono, 2001 and Mermessus naniwaensis (Oi, 1960) of Linyphiidae are described from Korea with taxonomic illustrations. The genera Gongylidioides Oi, 1960 and Mermessus O.P.-Cambridge, 1899 are newly recorded genera to Korean spider fauna.

A new species, Xysticus jiangi n. sp. is described based on the specimens collected in Hunan province, China. X. jiangi is similar to X. chui, but distinguished by smaller spermathecae, distinct copulatory canals, and Y-shaped median apophysis. In addition, basal apophysis of tegulum is well developed, compared to that of the latter.

A new species of Theridiidae, Carniella coreana sp. nov., is described and illustrated from Korea. The male of this newly described species is most similar to Carniella tsurui Ono, 2007 in the general shape of its palp, but can be distinguished by the winding structure of the embolus and broad tipped and twisted embolic apophysis. The genus Carniella Thaler & Steinberger, 1988 is newly recorded to Korean spider fauna.

Two new species of Arcuphantes Chamberlin and Ivie, 1943 (Linyphiidae), Arcuphantes juwangensis n. sp. and Arcuphantes namhaensis n. sp., are described with illustrations. All Korean Arcuphantes have a convoluted epigynal scape, and show close similarities in their morphological characters, but easily discriminated in the structures of proximal protuberances and the distal wing-shape of their epigynum.
