비유물의 개수, 출처 및 제시 순서가 중학생들의 과학 개념 회상 및 응용에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 비유물의 개수(1개/2개)와 출처(일상/과학)에 따라 네 종류의 학습 교재를 제작하여 예비 연구를 통해 수정하였다. 수업 처치 이전에 장의존성/독립성 검사를 실시하여 구획 변인으로 사용하였다. 88명의 중학생들에게 네 가지 유형의 학습 교재를 무선 배포하여 읽게 한 직후 과학 개념 회상 및 응용 검사를 실시하고, 4주 후에 개념의 파지 검사를 실시하였다. 비유물의 개수, 출처 및 제시 순서가 과학 개념 회상 및 응용에 미치는 주효과는 없었다. 파지 개념 응용 검사에서 학습자의 장의존성/독립성에 따라 비유물의 개수 및 비유물의 제시 순서가 과학 개념 회상 및 응용에 미치는 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 즉, 장독립적인 학습자는 비유물을 한 개 사용하였을 때보다 두 개 사용하였을 때 더 높았고, 비유물을 두 개 사용할 경우 장의존적 학습자는 과학 일상 비유물의 순서보다 일상-과학 비유물의 순서로 제시했을 때 더 높았다.

더덕의 재배기술 개선을 목적으로 Uniconazol 및 Paclobutrazol을 더덕의 생장기별로 엽면산포(葉面散布)를 행했다. Uniconazol 및 Paclobutrazol 처리는 처리시기에 관계 없이 농도가 높을수록 초장은 억제되었으며 엽면적(葉面積)의 감소를 나타냈다. Uniconazol 처리에 의한 지하부의 형질은 3절(節) 분화시의 처리를 제외한 모든 처리구에서 대조구와의 유의차가 인정되지 않았다. 그러나12절 분화시의 10mg $liter^1$ 와 100mg $liter^1$ 농도처리에서는 대조구보다 생체중(生體重)이 각각 64%, 100%의 증가를 보였다. 세포독성(細胞毒性) Screening의 결과는 대조구 및 6절 분화시 10mg $liter^1$ 처리구에서만 활성을 나타했다. Paclobutrazol 처리에 의한 지하부의 생체중(生體重)은 3절(節) 분화시의 처리를 제외한 모든 처리구에서 대조구와의 유의차가 인정되지 않았다. 그러나 12절 분화시의 10mg $liter^1$ 농도처리에 의해 조금의 증가를 보였다. 세포독성(細胞毒性) Screening의 결과는 대조구 및 모든 처리구에서 약한 활성치를 나타냈다.

이미지 기반 애플리케이션 테스트는 이미지 구조 비교를 통한 애플리케이션 테스트 방법을 제안한다. 이 연구는 다양한 디바이스 운영체제의 종류나 GUI에 의존 없이 다양한 기기에서 테스트가 가능하다. 기존 연구는 운영체제 변경, 화면상의 애니메이션 실행 그리고 해상도 변경의 경우 정답 이미지와 달라지기 때문에 기존의 경우 각각 변형마다 테스터를 생성해야 했다. 하지만 이 방법은 운영체제 변경, 해상도 크기의 변경, 화면상의 애니메이션 실행과 같은 변화가 발생해도 동일한 기준으로 판별하기 때문에 하나의 테스터로 테스트할 수 있다. 두 이미지의 객체들의 기본 구조를 비교하고 이미지에 차이가 존재하는 영역을 추출해서 Faster D2-Net의 특징점으로 이미지 유사성을 비교한다. Faster D2-Net 개발로 D2-Net보다 연산의 수와 공간적 손실을 줄여 애플리케이션 이미지에서 특징점을 추출하기 적합하고 수행 시간 단축이 가능했다.

We applied a DCS which was developed in Korea to test furnace. Test furnace is a pilot-scale plant made for finding combustion in firing coal. In this paper, we describe control system which was implemented in test furnace in detail. Finally, we describe the fire box temperature control loop, and show fire box temperature control result during commissioning stage using implemented control system.

Huffer and Park (2002) proposed a chi-squared test for multivariate structure. Their test detects the deviation of data from mutual independence or multivariate normality. We will compute the Rao-Robson chi-squared version of the test, which is easy to apply in practice since it has a limiting chi-squared distribution. We will provide a self-contained argument that it has a limiting chi-squared distribution. We study the accuracy in finite samples of the limiting distribution. We finally compare the power of our test with those of other popular normality tests in an application to a real data.

A concrete disign of memory circuit is presented aiming at the application of sliding diagonal test patterns. A modification of sliding diagonal test pattern includes the complexity reduction from O(n$^{32}$) to O(n) using parallel test memory concept. The control circuit design was based on delay-element, and verified via logic and circuit simulation. Area overhead was evaluated based on physical layout using a 0.7 micron design rule resulting in about 1% area increase for a typical 16Mbit DRAM.

We provide a simple chi-squared test of multivariate normality based on rectangular cells on the spherical data. This test is simple since it is a direct extension of the univariate chi-squared test to multivariate case and the expected cell counts are easily computed. We derive the limiting distribution of the chi-squared statistic via the conditional limit theorems. We study the accuracy in finite samples of the limiting distribution and then compare the poser of our test with those of other popular tests in an application to a real data.

An approximate Bayes criterion for multivariate Behrens-Fisher problem is proposed and examined. Development of the criterion involves derivation of approximate Bayes factor using the imaginary training sample approach introduced by Speigelhalter and Smith (1982). The criterion is designed to develop a Bayesian test, so that it provides an alternative test to other tests based upon asymptotic sampling theory (such as the tests suggested by Bennett(1951), James(1954) and Yao(1965). For the derived criterion, numerical studies demonstrate routine application and give comparisons with the classical tests.

A test is suggested for detecting deviations from both multivariate normality and independence. This test can be used for assessing the normality and independence of univariate time series residuals. We derive the limiting distribution of the test statistic and a simulation study is conducted to study the accuracy of the limiting distribution in finite samples. Finally, we apply our method to a real data of time series.

In this paper, testing exponentiality against new better than used in convex average and denote by (NBUCA), or its dual (NWUCA) is investigated through the U-test. The percentiles of these tests are tabulated for samples sizes n = 5(1)40. The power estimates of the test are simulated for some commonly used distributions in reliability. Pitman's asymptotic efficiency of the test is calculated and compared. Data of 40 patients suffering from blood cancer disease (Leukemia) is considered as a practical application of the proposed test in the medical sciences.
