The growth of computer resource and network speed has increased requests for the use of remotely located computer systems by connecting through computer networks. This phenomenon has hoisted research activities for application service provision that uses server-based remote computing paradigm. The server-based remote computing paradigm has been developed as the ASP (Application Service Provision) model, which provides remote users through application sharing protocol to application programs. Security requirement such as confidentiality, availability, integrity should be satisfied to provide ASP service using centralized computing system. Existing Telnet or FTP service for a remote computing systems have satisfied security requirement by a simple access control to files and/or data. But windows-based centralized computing system is vulnerable to confidentiality, availability, integrity where many users use the same application program installed in the same computer. In other words, the computing system needs detailed security level for each user different from others, such that only authorized user or group of users can run some specific functional commands for the program. In this paper, we propose windows based centralized computing system that sets security policies for each user for the use of instructions of the application programs, and performs access control to the instructions based on the security policies. The system monitors all user messages which are executed through graphical user interface by the users connecting to the system. Ail Instructions, i.e. messages, for the application program are now passed to authorization process that decides if an Instruction is delivered to the application program based on the pre-defined security polices. This system can be used as security clearance for each user for the shared computing resource as well as shared application programs.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) has been used for business-to-business communication for almost a quarter of a century. Initial efforts Involved inter-company agreements on how to exchange commercial data, initially as information stored on tape and later as messages sent over dedicated data lines. To avoid having to use different protocols to move data between different companies, various Industry groups identified sets of data that could form the basis of individual agreements. The industry groups also sought to agree the format in which fields in such data sets were interchange so that a company only needed to develop one methodology for decoding information received without resource to human intervention. The XML/EDI specific components are built on top of existing standards for transmitting and processing XML-encoded data. These standards define shared features such as: the standard Internet file storage/naming and data transport mechanisms, file and message transfer formats, the syntax of data coded in XML, the way in which XML files can be validated by an XML parser or document object model generator, the way in which XSL presentation and data evaluation scripts can be associated with parsed objects, the use of rules and data management robots to manage application and repository interfaces.

A variety of sensors and equipment are installed on passenger ships. Data collection from these sensors and associated equipment is required for the safe navigation and behavior analysis of ships, but when the ship sails out of the area where it is not possible to use the LTE communication, other types of networks have to be able to support to transmit these information. such as AIS, satellite communication and MF/HF. In this paper, we survey data protocol of onboard sensors and design ASM messages to transfer sensor data on board to the shore-side system.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the current operational status and problems of the Public Warning System (PWS) in China, and to propose feasible solutions to improve the performance and efficiency of the PWS through a comparative analysis with the Cell Broadcast Service (CBS)-based disaster SMS system adopted by other developed countries in the world. Design/methodology/approach In this study, the characteristics of PWS using SMS, applications, and CBS, respectively, are analyzed in detail, and compared and analyzed in terms of convenience, standardization, data security, speed, and location accuracy. In addition, CBS-based PWS in developed countries, such as U.S., E.U., Korea and Japan, were studied and their performance on key criteria was evaluated. Findings Based on the results of the study, the problems of China's PWS are summarized and recommendations are made to improve the PWS through the introduction of CBS technology. To this end, specific improvement measures are proposed in terms of the application of CBS technology, system construction and operation, and improvement of data security. In addition, the comparative analysis of PWSs in other developed countries is conducted to provide reference for the direction of PWS's improvement.

Mobile social network can be seen as a specific application of the DTN (Delay Tolerant Network), in which the information propagation can be impacted by many social behaviors of the nodes. For a specific node, its social behaviors are various. For example, the node may not be interested in the information before receiving it and may also discard the information after getting it. On the other hand, people are more willing to forward the message to his friends. These interactive behaviors between nodes can be seen as social behaviors. It is easy to see that the impact of the social behaviors is related to the social ties, which can be manifested by the structure of the social network. State of the art works often simply assumes that the social networks can be divided into some communities. At present, some works find that the structure of some social networks is scale-free. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a theoretical model to evaluate the impact of above social behaviors in the DTN-like scale-free network. Simulation shows the accuracy of the model. Numerical results show that both social behaviors and scale-free character have significant impact on information propagation. Moreover, the impact of social behaviors is related to the scale-free character of the networks.
In this paper we propose a technique of implementing the reconfigurable network protocol stack that allows for partitioning network protocol functions into software and hardware tasks on a SoC (System on Chip) platform. Additionally, we present a method that guarantees the deadline of both an individual task and messages exchanging among tasks in order to meet the deadline of real-time multimedia and networking services. The proposed real-time message exchange method guarantees the deadline of messages generated by multimedia services that are required to meet the real-time properties of multimedia applications. After implementing the networking functions of TCP/IP protocol suite into hardware and software tasks, we verify and validate their performance on the SoC platform. Experimental results indicate that the proposed technique improves the performance of TCP/IP protocol suit as well as application service satisfaction in application-specific real-time.

In this paper, we designed and implemented ubiquitous u-Health system using RFE and ZigBee. We made a wireless protocol Kit which combines RFE Tag recognition and ZigBee data communication capability. The software is designed and developed on the TinyOS. Wireless communication technologies which hold multi-protocol stacks with RFID and result in the wireless ubiquitous world could be Bluetooth, ZigBee, 802.11x WLAN and so on. The environments that the suggested u-Health system may be used is un-manned nursing, which would be utilized in dense sensor networks such as a hospital. The the size of devices with RFID and ZigBee will be so smaller and smaller as a bracelet, a wrist watch and a ring. The combined wireless RFID-ZigBee system could be applied to applications which requires some actions corresponding to the collected (or sensed) information in WBAN(Wireless Body Area Network) and/or WPAN(Wireless Person Area Network). The proposed ubiquitous u-Health system displays some text-type alert message on LCD which is attached to the system or gives voice alert message to the adequate node users. RFE will be used as various combinations with other wireless technologies for some application-specific purposes.

The RFID system provides undeniable advantages so that it is used for various application. However recent RFID system is vulnerable to some attacks as eavesdropping, replay attack, message hijacking, and tag tampering, because the messages are transmitted through the wireless channel and the tags are cheap. Above attacks cause the tag and reader impersonation, denial of service by invalidating tag, and the location tracking concerning bearer of tags, A lot of RFID authentication protocol bas been proposed to solve the vulnerability. Since Weis, Sanna, Rivest, and Engel, proposed the bash-based RFID authentication protocol, many researchers have improved hash-based authentication protocol and recent bash-based authentication protocols provide security and desirable privacy. However, it remains open problem to reduce the tag identification time as long as privacy and security are still guaranteed. Here we propose a new protocol in which the tags generate the message depending on the state of previous communitions between tag and reader. In consequence, our protocol allows a server to identify a tag in a reasonable amount of time while ensuring security and privacy, To be specific, we reduced the time for the server to identify a tag when the last session finished abnormally by at least 50% compared with other bash-based schemes that ensure levels of security and privacy similar to ours.

AIS is a core service in the maritime safety domain. AIS Message type #6 and #8(for binary date) can be used for carrying any kind of MSI(Maritime Safety Information). The MSC(Maritime Safety Committee) approved SN/Circ. 289 on Guidance on the use of AIS Application-Specific Messages in 2010. The MSI that carried by AIS-ASM can support to reduce the maritime accidents. Since a new AIS-ASM service places an additional load on the VDL(VHF Data Link), there should be a deployment process for new AIS-ASM services. In this paper we analyze the AIS-ASM services and survey the extended functions and systems for each AIS-ASM service. We also present the survey of the statistical analysis of local AIS messages. and suggest preliminary research topics for the deployment of new AIS-ASM services. VDL monitoring system, system for detection and removal of malfunctioning AIS equipments, and value analysis process of the MSI services are required.

Nowadays users of Virtual Environment are want to play with thousands of players in an evolving virtual world at the same time over the internet. So, the load of this kind of Virtual Environments is heavier than that of any other precedents. One of load balancing methods is map-partition to divide the load of entire system which is vulnerable to delay message between clients and servers. In this paper, we propose a Migration Agent application server architecture using to help migration of player character between field servers and to reduce response time between clients and field servers. Migration Agent is reduce Player Character's responds time as Cache Server, if Player Character move to another Field Server, Player Character need the synchronization process in the DBMS approach, to minimize response time by reducing the period for cross - Player Character Field Server to perform the role. Field Server by placing them in form of a stack existing form of grid, for load concentrated on a specific server.
