초.중학교 로봇융합활동 교육과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Curriculum for Elementary and Middle School in Robot and Convergence Activity)

  • 최근 K-12교육에선 교수학습도구로 로봇을 활용하는 연구가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 핸즈온 특성을 기반으로 하는 로봇은 과학, 수학 교과학습 뿐만 아니라 STEAM 융합활동에서도 긍정적 교육효과를 제공하며 비판적 사고력, 창의성, 의사소통능력, 협동심 등의 21세기에 필요한 능력 신장에도 도움을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 많은 연구 성과에 비해 초중등 교육현장에서 로봇의 도구적 활용을 향상시키기 위한 로봇교육과정 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 즉, 학교급/학년별로 도구적 활용을 제고하기 위한 체제적인 교육내용, 교육방법, 그리고 교육평가에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교와 중학교에서 '로봇'과 관련된 교육과정을 개발하고 운영할 수 있도록 국내외의 로봇교육과정 및 관련 사례를 분석한 후 개정될 컴퓨터과학 교육과정의 하위 영역으로써 로봇영역의 성취 목표를 제시하고, 교수학습 방법과 평가 방법의 고려사항을 제시하였다.

설진 시스템 특허동향 분석 (Analysis of patent trends of computerized tongue diagnosis systems)

  • Objectives Tongue diagnosis is an important diagnostic method in traditional Eastern medicine, and it has a high potential to be used in the future healthcare because of easy, quick, and non-contact measuring features. Recently, research and development efforts on computerized tongue diagnosis systems (CTDS) have been active that led to the technical advancements in the field of photographing techniques, image extraction and classification algorithms. In this study, we analyzed the trends in the CTDS patents. Using the WIPS search engine (www.wipsglobal.com), quantitative and qualitative patent analyses were performed through Korea, China, Japan, U.S.A and Europe. Methods For a systematic search and data analysis, we defined patent categories based on the application area and technical details. By applying thus-obtained categorical key words, we obtained 360 relevant patents on photographing techniques, image extraction and classification algorithms for the purpose of diagnosis or security. Results As a result, companies related to image acquisition, medical imaging and mobile devices and research groups of universities in East Asia were major patent applicants. In all the five countries, the number of patents have been increasing since 1980. In particular, technology related to color correction and image segmentation were most actively patented categories, and expected to continue a high application rate.

은이온 은나노 만들기: 은나노 세탁기를 둘러싼 나노의 정의와 위험 및 규제 관련 논쟁의 분석, 2006-2012 (Silver ions and nanoparticles in the making)

  • 2003년 출시된 은나노 세탁기는 초기에 나노기술이 접목된 가전제품으로서 큰 관심을 끌었으나, 이후에는 은나노 없는 은나노 세탁기라는 조롱을 받기도 했다. 나노기술의 규제와 관련하여 미국 환경보호청 역시도 일관되지 않은 모습을 보였다. 이처럼 나노기술에 대한 규제 문제와 나노물질의 범주 설정 문제는 서로 결부된 모습을 보였는데, 본 논문은 은나노 세탁기를 둘러싼 논쟁들을 보다 구체적으로 분석하면서 은이온과 은나노의 경계가 해당 물질에 대한 위험인식과 어떻게 상호작용하며 변화했는지를 추적할 것이다. 논쟁의 초기에 두 물질 간의 경계는 한국과 미국의 맥락에 따라 서로 다른 형태의 위험인식을 거치면서 뚜렷해졌다. 하지만 미국의 환경 단체들은 은나노 물질에 대한 위험인식을 바탕으로 은나노 물질에 대한 새로운 정의를 제안했고, 미국의 환경보호청과 한국의 환경부가 나노물질을 분류하는 기준이 변화하기 시작했다. 본 논문은 은나노 세탁기를 둘러싼 최근의 역사에 대한 분석을 통하여 단순히 은이온과 은나노라는 물질의 정의가 사회적으로 구성되었다는 점을 확인하는데 그치지 않고, 특정 물질에 대한 위험인식이 그 물질에 관한 존재론적 논의에 어떤 방식으로 영향을 끼칠 수 있는지를 면밀히 살펴보고자 한다.

이동원(李東垣)의 풍약(風藥) 활용법(活用法)에 대한 고찰 (A Research on Li Dong-yuan's Application Rule of Wind Herbs(風藥))

  • Objectives : The paper studies the epistemology of Wind Herbs, its origin, its drug category and medicinal property, attempted to understand Lidongyuan's framework of mechanism of internal damage and treatment principle, and why he used it from his viewpoint. Methods : His suggestion was based on this treatment of internal damage suing wind herbs. Therefore, it cannot be viewed as a simple herbological concept. It rather displays the characteristics of medication based on clinical pathology. Therefore, wind herb should be comprehensively understood from the understanding of the mechanism of internal damage. That is why the paper studied around Piweilun, where Lidongyuan's concept on internal damage is established with finality. Additionally, the paper also referred to Wanghaogu's Tangyenbencao, a text that comprehensibly assembles the authors of Zhangyuans, Yixuqiyan's and Yishuixuepi's knowledge o herbology. Results : The origin of wind herb is 'herbs that uses the unique nature of wind in treatment of disease.' Medication unfolds yang qi, and this signifies the Shengyang function. This means that it starts from the lower energizer yin aspect, which is the beginning point of yang qi, and unfolds to the whole body through upbearing and effusion. Instead of producing yang qi directly similar to pungent, sweet and warm formula, however, it contributes to the achievement of the final purpose of the way of Shengyang through forming a ascending mechanism in the whole body via yin aspect's yang qi upbearing and effusion. Conclusions : Wind herb is within the scope of clinical herbology selected by Lidongyuan, for the purpose of achieving comprehensive clinical purposes, in order to treat internal damage. In this way, wind herb is distinguished from the application of other medicines that are limited in usage depending on Qiwei.

말기 암환자의 변비 사정도구 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of the Constipation Assessment Tool for Patients with Terminal Cancers)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop the constipation assessment tool for identifying their bowel movement patterns, and to provide basic information for the assessment and intervention protocol on constipation for patients with terminal cancers. Methods: The study followed the steps: the first step was to build a conceptual framework based on literature review; the second step was to develop a tentative instrument by analyzing the conceptual framework and existing instruments; the third step was to test content validity and reliability; and the final step was to apply the tool to patients with terminal cancers (N=112). Results: The constipation assessment tool was consisted of total nine items; under the categories of subjective and objective data for diagnosis had 4 items, and under the initial assessment category which includes stool type, physical examination, and abdomen X-ray had 5 items. Conclusion: The constipation assessment tool developed in this study is very easy to use and useful in nursing practice, especially in hospice and palliative care setting. Particularly this tool has items on patient assessment which would be considered as an evidence for choosing nursing interventions. Based on the constipation assessment tool, the development and application of intervention protocol on constipation for patients with terminal cancers is warranted in future research.

EST Knowledge Integrated Systems (EKIS): An Integrated Database of EST Information for Research Application

  • The EST Knowledge Integrated System, EKIS (http://ekis.kribb.re.kr), was established as a part of Korea's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology initiative for genome sequencing and application research of the biological model organisms (GEAR) project. The goals of the EKIS are to collect EST information from GEAR projects and make an integrated database to provide transcriptomic and metabolomic information for biological scientists. The EKIS constitutes five independent categories and several retrieval systems in each category for incorporating massive EST data from high-throughput sequencing of 65 different species. Through the EKIS database, scientists can freely access information including BLAST functional annotation as well as Genechip and pathway information for KEGG. By integrating complex data into a framework of existing EST knowledge information, the EKIS provides new insights into specialized metabolic pathway information for an applied industrial material.

예비유아교사의 플립러닝 적용 사례 연구 (Case Study on Flip Learning Application to Preparatory Childhood Teachers)

  • 본 연구는 예비유아교사에게 플립러닝을 적용한 경험을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 3년제 유아교육과의 1학년 1학기 2학점 교직과목을 수강한 76명의 대학생이었다. 학기는 3월 초부터 6월 중순까지 13주간의 수업으로 운영되었으며 모든 수업에 플립러닝을 적용하였다. 자료 수집은 참여자 저널을 질적 분석하였고 장점 3가지, 단점 4가지의 범주로 정리되었다. 장점은 첫째, 적극적 수업참여, 둘째, 반복학습, 셋째, 자기주도학습이었다. 단점은 첫째, 수업시간부담, 둘째, 플립러닝 방법개선, 셋째, 자기주도 학습능력 필요, 넷째, 사전학습 환경 불안정에 대한 경험을 제시하였다. 예비유아교사에게 플립러닝을 적용한 사례를 통해 대학의 교수자 및 학습자들에게 좀 더 효율적인 교수학습방법의 적용사례를 제시하고자 한다.

디자인을 위한 비르크호프-G. D. Birkhoff의 미학적 카테고리로서의 척도와 인포메이션에 대한 고찰 (A Study for Design based on Measure and Information as BIRKHOFF's Aesthetic Category)

  • 오늘날 산업 디자인은 단지 유저 인터페이스(User Interface)와 기술적인 개선을 통한 제품을 시장에 제공하고 있는 것처럼 보여지고 있다. 일반적으로 제품을 구입하는 소비자는 제품을 처음 대하는 순간자신의 특별한 감정과 경험들을 동원하여 제품에 어떤 의미를 부여하려고 한다. 제품에 나타나는 은유적인 특성을 제품 언어라고 하는데, 우리 디자이너들은 그 은유적인 특성에 대한 정확한 인식 또는 가공 방법에 대하여 끊임없는 연구가 선행되어야 할 것이다. 우리가 사용하는 모든 오브젝트(Object) 또는 제품(Product)에는 고유한 미학적인 가치가 함축되어 있으며, 그것은 제품이 사용되는 환경에 따라 다르게 보여질 수 있다. 그리고 객관성이 미약할 경우에, 제품에서 나타나는 은유적인 특성은 새로운 도구 시스템을 요구하게 된다. 비르크호프의 미학적 척도를 응용한 제품 분석은 제품에 포함되어 있는 고유한 은유적인 특성과 제품 개발을 위한 도구로 응용될 수 있으며, 이를 통하여 디자인 조작이 보다 용이하게 된다. 예를 들어 비르크호프의 미학적 척도를 응용하여 시장에서 판매의 우위를 보이고 있는 제품에 대한 미학적 척도를 분석한 후 그 제품에 적용된 제품 언어를 분석하면 소비자의 기호도를 인지할 수 있게 된다. 비르크호프의 미학적 척도의 에플리케이션(Application)은 하나의 시스템이자, 디자인 프로세스를 보다 원활하게 수행하게 하는 일종의 도구(Tool)인 것이다.

도시주거단지에 나타난 색채사용특성에 관한 연구 - 독일 포츠담시 Kirchsteigfeld 주거단지를 중심으로 - (A study on the characteristics of color application indicated from urban housing complex - A Forcuse on the Kirchsteigfeld Housing Complex in Potsdam City -)

  • Characteristics of color application indicated from Kirchsteigfeld is presented the various points of view to be preserved urban housing color. It had been handled as environmental color by view point of community and connectivity rather than color scheme of single housing. First, color to be consisted of basis for urban entirely as background color in urban housing complex has been indicated the bright and cheerful feelings and expressed to be introduced mostly from the single color system. Second, characteristics to be inhibited strongly from housing complex had been indicated by restricted four types of color, formulated the overall context and change through accent and the change from disposition of principal and the accessary of color scheme. In this case, it was not regular formulation, but as a whole category view, it could be provided by orderly regularity system strictly Particularly it had been applied as a whole for lightness change by single color, introduced the different color of building to be centered or remained by a visual point. This had been formed to introduction of color by stand points of housing group not introduction to color by sole concept of building. Third, emphasizing of morphologic feeling by using of difference of lightness, it could be indicated the mild and comfortable stereo-type sensibility from the overall types of housing, we could understand for formation of color code by lightness of slightly differences. Fourth, it had been taken the convenient adaptation method for maintenance of simple graphic system as a environmental color. It has considerable advantage for sustainability of color to indicate on finishing material, form and detail in architecture, as the sole separated color not to be complicated when to be painted over and again or managed continuously.

대학 기숙사 급식의 메뉴 운영 특성을 고려한 Menu Engineering기법 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Menu Engineering Technique for University Residence Hall Foodservice)

  • This article aims to summarize the development and application of menu engineering technique, 'Menu Engineering Modified by Preference (MEMP)'. The site selected for this project was a foodservice operation in Yonsei University residence hall. Sales and food costs data were collected from the daily sales reports for 1 month, and the survey of food preference was conducted during May, 1999. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS/Win 6.12 for descriptive analysis. The calculation for menu analysis were carried out with MS 2000 Excel spreadsheet program. This MEMP technique developed had 6 category criteria and 2 dimensions of the contribution margin (CM) and the menu mix modified% (MMM%) . The MMM% was calculated by the sales volumes and also weighted by food preference. The CM and MMM% for each item were compared with a mean menu CM as well as a 70% rule. Four possible classifications by MEMP were fumed out as 'STAR', 'PLOWHORSE', 'PUZZLE', 'DOG'. 'STAR' items were the most popular and profitable items and required to maintain rigid specifications for quality. The decision actions for 'PLOWHORSE' menu items which were relatively popular, but yield a low menu average CM included combining a plowhorse item with lower cost products and reducing the frequency of serving or serving size. There was a need for 'PUZZLE' items to be changed in the menu combination, improve recipe, and promote menu. The last DOG' items were desired to be deleted. This study demonstrates that menu information can be interpreted more easily with MEMP. The use of MEMP is therefore an effective way to improve management decisions about menu of university residence hall foodservice.
