Design of a Metamodel for the Development Process of a Mobile Application (모바일 앱 개발 프로세스 메타모델 설계)

  • Because of the rapid growth of smart phone market, the number of mobile applications has increased exponentially. As mobile applications are developing at a rapid rate, many of them are being developed without considering a systematic development process or quality factors, such as reusability, extensibility, etc.. As a result, they have many faults internally, they are being underrated in satisfaction or reliability from customers, and finally customers do not update or repeat the purchase. Therefore, a meta-model of development process for mobile applications was designed to improve the continuous usability of mobile applications as well as the satisfaction and reliability from users. Applying development process based on a meta-model to mobile application development is expected to improve development productivity and quality of mobile applications.

  • This research aimed to design and develop a mobile-website mixed business model and smartphone based mobile application for the purpose of mobile fashion content distribution. We have implemented a mobile interface and trading system supporting self production of content, use, share, and user's self-up. And we proposed its market access strategy for the expansion of fashion contents transactions. To do this, the existing status of research and benchmarking for mobile app of fashion contents related were studied. As a result of the study, Android, iOS-based mobile applications were developed, but there are some business problems such as low awareness, low entry barriers, and the poor fashion content compared to the size of industry. Because this system provide the fashion contents of affiliated companies to users, it needs to expand cooperation and to promote the partnership with fashion blog, cafes, and fashion magazines.

  • is a mobile application based SNS video platform that launched its service in China in 2016. At the beginning of the service, TikTok is a music video content platform, and later, it evolved into a social platform that provides a wide variety of contents, and the process of creating, producing, and editing videos was easily provided. Since started its service, it has analyzed various social phenomena that have appeared to young people and the types and characteristics of video content popular in this app. The demand for vertical video content in the form of short clip is on the rise rapidly, which can be expected to improve the quality of video content in accordance with the development of mobile-based imaging technology. Useful for mobile based on the creative video producers through this study data are to be used to.

  • Recently, most of the modern people used a second mobile device(two degree mobile device). Mobile devices are affecting all areas of human life, consumer electronics, transportation, manufacturing, and finance. On this paper, we propose a model-driven development based interaction model that can be used in the development of mobile payment system, which is the latest buzzword pins of the various application fields of mobile devices Tech (Fin-Tech) sector. Using a model-driven development based models do not depend on the Platforms (PIM), we propose a model for interaction between devices which can be reused when developing mobile billing app. A model-driven development based mobile applications use the reusable of interaction models development program analyzed the bus fees automatic payment application by a beacon.

A Hiding Original App Method by Altering Android DexClassLoader Execution Flow (안드로이드 덱스클래스로더 실행흐름 변경을 통한 원본 앱 노출 방지 기법)

  • The android packer service using runtime execution compression technology switches to the original application using DexClassLoader. However the API interface of the DexClassLoader receives the path of the loaded DEX(Dalvik EXcutable) and the path of the compiled file. So there is a problem that the original file is exposed to the file system. Therefore, it is not safe to use the API for the packer service. In this paper, we solve this problem by changing the compile and load flow of the DexClassLoader API. Due to this changed execution flow, the complied file can be encrypted and stored in the file system or only in the memory and it can be decrypted or substituted at the time of subsequent loading to enable the original application conversion. we expected that the stability of the packer will increase beacause the proposed method does not expose the original file to the file system.

  • The rapid evolution of mobile technologies and proliferation of mobile devices have created a new channel for marketing by mobile advertising. As mobile advertising is a close relative to online advertising, it also has similar problems such as advertisement injections (Ad injections). Users are exposed to unwanted advertisements and redundant web traffic by injected ads can cause additional charges of mobile devices. Although mobile ad injection can cause many problems it has been merely studied. In this paper, we analyze ad injection activities by mobile applications that exploit a legitimate application (Naver mobile application). We reverse-engineered 2 mobile applications and find out characteristics of mobile ad injections. We compare mobile ad injections with online ad injections and suggest feasible mitigations.

Effects of a mobile healthcare service provided by public health centers on practicing of health behaviors and health risk factors

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: This study evaluated whether a mobile health (mHealth) application can instigate healthy behavioral changes and improvements in metabolic disorders in individuals with metabolic abnormalities. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Participants were divided into an mHealth intervention group (IG), which used a mobile app for 24 weeks, and a conventional IG. All mobile apps featured activity monitors, with blood pressure and glucose monitors, and body-composition measuring devices. The two groups were compared after 24 weeks in terms of health-behavior practice rate and changes in the proportion of people with health risks, and health behaviors performed by the IG that contributed to reductions in more than one health risk factor were analyzed using multiple logistic regression. RESULTS: Preference for low-sodium diet, reading nutritional facts, having breakfast, and performing moderate physical activity significantly increased in the mHealth IG. Furthermore, the mHealth IG showed a significant increase of eight items in the mini-dietary assessment; particularly, the items "I eat at least two types of vegetables of various colors at every meal" and "I consume dairies, such as milk, yogurt, and cheese, every day." The proportion of people with health risks, with the exception of fasting glucose, significantly decreased in the mHealth IG, while only the proportion of people with at-risk triglycerides and waist circumference of females significantly decreased in the control group. Finally, compared to those who did not show improvements of health risks, those who showed improvements of health risks in the mHealth IG had an odds ratio of 1.61 for moderate to vigorous physical activity, 1.65 for "I do not add more salt or soy sauce in my food," and 1.77 for "I remove fat in my meat before eating." CONCLUSIONS: The findings suggest that the additional use of a community-based mHealth service through a mobile application is effective for improving health behaviors and lowering metabolic risks in Koreans.

Development of a Portable Potentiostat with Wireless Communications for Measuring Dissolved Oxygen (용존산소 측정을 위한 무선통신 기반 휴대형 포텐쇼스탯 개발)

  • In this paper, we describe a portable potentiostat which is capable of cyclic voltammetry(CV) and amperometry for electrochemical dissolved oxygen sensor. In addition, this portable potentiostat can also transmit the measured data wirelessly to android devices such as smart phone, tablet, etc. through Bluetooth. The potentiostat system consists of three parts; a voltage generator circuit which is controlled by Arduino nano and 12-bit DAC(digital to analog converter) to generate necessary electric potential for operating the electrochemical sensor, an oxidation/reduction current measurement circuit, and a Bluetooth module to transmit data wirelessly to an android device. Once measurements are carried out with the android application, the measured data is transmitted to the android device via Bluetooth and displayed using the android app. in real time. In this paper, we report the measured reduction current with a fabricated dissolved oxygen sensor in both saturated-oxygen state and zero-oxygen states. The results of the developed portable potentiostat system are in good agreement with those of the commercial portable potentiostat (${\mu}stat200$, Dropsens inc.). The measured peak reduction currents using the developed potentiostat and the commercial ${\mu}stat200$ potentiostat were $-0.755{\mu}A$ and $-0.724{\mu}A$, respectively. The reduction currents measured at zero-oxygen state were $-0.005{\mu}A$ and $-0.004{\mu}A$. The discrepancy between those two systems seems very small, which implies successful development of a portable and wireless potentionstat.

  • This study investigates Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program which can improve core competency to cope with vocational education in the fourth industrial revolution era. I applied the integrated advantages of Active Learning which enhances 'problem solving skill' and those of Facilitation for creative thinking idea to application design process coursework and verified the effectiveness of such education method through student satisfaction survey. I also designed application contents for the students who are familiar with the mobile environments and UI contents for data visualization which can help those students to improve their skills in software. Every coursework was conducted as a team project. As a result, Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program is found to be helpful in improving the basic skills and competencies required in college education. I hope this work helps to reduce the educational gap between industry and professional colleges.

  • As an alternative to the growing problem of weather anomalies, users are using mobile weather apps to predict the weather. Even though it provides clear information, the user makes mistakes in forecasting the weather. For this reason, The purpose of this study is to find elements that can be prepared for the volatile weather through mobile application. Jakob Nielsen's "heuristic" evaluation found weaknesses in the application. Then I proceeded to analyze it from a behavioral economics standpoint. As a result, the two applications had various functions and accurate information. However, user accessibility was low and focused on 'information delivery'.
