In this study, MEC (: Multi-access Edge Computing) proposes a cloud service network configuration for various tests of autonomous vehicles to which V2X (: Vehicle to Everything) is applied in Wave, LTE, and 5G networks and MEC App (: Application) applied V2X service function test verification of two domains (operator (KT, SKT, LG U+), network type (Wave, LTE (including 3G), 5G)) in a specific region. In 4G networks of domestic operators (SKT, KT, LG U+ and Wave), MEC summarized the improvement effects through V2X function blocks and traffic offloading for the purpose of bringing independent network functions. And with a high level of QoS value in the V2X VNF of the 5G network, the traffic steering function scenario was demonstrated on the destination-specific traffic path.

As more than 80% of the entire Korean population uses smartphone, an increasing number of applications are being developed to increase the convenience in daily life. Users are also looking for applications associated with health, such as those that help them confirm their health status. While users are use most frequently a health care application, this study was conducted to review an application that can be used in real time to access hospital services. Namely, to manage the health status of users and patients, book online or offline appointments and go through the appointments. The study was conducted using the application of Baeksok University Hospital.
General users who use smartphone apps often use the Vault app to protect personal information such as photos and videos owned by individuals. However, there are increasing cases of criminals using the Vault app function for anti-forensic purposes to hide illegal videos. These apps are one of the apps registered on Google Play. This paper proposes a methodology for extracting feature points through XML-based keyword frequency analysis to explore Vault apps used by criminals, and text mining techniques are applied to extract feature points. In this paper, XML syntax was compared and analyzed using strings.xml files included in the app for 15 hidden Vault anti-forensics apps and non-hidden Vault apps, respectively. In hidden Vault anti-forensics apps, more hidden-related words are found at a higher frequency in the first and second rounds of terminology processing. Unlike most conventional methods of static analysis of APK files from an engineering point of view, this paper is meaningful in that it approached from a humanities and sociological point of view to find a feature of classifying anti-forensics apps. In conclusion, applying text mining techniques through XML parsing can be used as basic data for exploring hidden Vault anti-forensics apps.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate clinical utilization by measuring compliance with the use of mobile health applications (AtopyPHR developed in a previous study) for patients with atopic dermatitis. Methods : Based on the AtopyPHR and the input period and frequency survey results for each symptom item, a scenario for measuring compliance was derived. The study period was 4 weeks. Participants installed AtopyPHR app and Telegram app on their smartphones, conducted user training on the app, and recorded symptoms using the app for 4 weeks. At the 2nd and 4th week visits, the AtopyPHR data recorded by the user can be viewed on the web page and used for medical decision. Compliance was analyzed by the date the symptoms were recorded. Results : There were 28 participants, all (100%) were compliant, and the compliance was 96.8. The patients were 1 to 18 years old, and the average age was 8.2±5.7 years, 10 males and 18 females. The actual date of participation in recording symptoms was 28.6±0.56 on average. Compared to Week 1, compliance decreased at Week 2, and Week 4 had the highest compliance. Daily check, daily emotion, stool/urine/sleep, and meal management showed high compliance, SCORAD and quality of life were higher than required to record. Conclusions : AtopyPHR was effective in compliance. The results of this study could be used to collect personal health data in daily life through the AtopyPHR, improving participant compliance. It is considered to be meaningful because it measured the compliance with the symptom record actually recorded using the mobile app rather than a questionnaire. This study may be useful not only for personal health care but also for medical decisions, as opinions are given by experts who treat atopic dermatitis.
Existing attending management systems require a high cost and are lack of convenience. In this paper, we propose a convenient and practical attending management system as follows: First, our system allows us to construct an attendance book in an easy and simple way. A professor does not have to provide the information of students using the small screen of his smartphone. Instead, each student manages his own information via the app designed for a student in our system. Then the professor can construct the attendance book using another app designed for the professor by confirming the requests from the app designed for a student. Second, our system enables a professor to utilize the pictures of students as well as other information of students to have a good relationship with students. Third, our system provides a functionality of checking attendance automatically by calling the names of students via the app designed for the professor. Then the professor has only to match the name with the face of each student. Fourth, our system provides a functionality of checking attendance in a very fast manner. Our system can complete this behavior within a short time since all students can join the attendance simultaneously by using the app designed for the student. Fifth, our system can prevent an illegal attendance easily by utilizing the distance information.
The purpose of this study is to develop an Android smartphone app providing analysis capabilities of remote sensing images, by using mobile browsing open sources of gvSIG, open source remote sensing software of OTB and open source DBMS of PostgreSQL. In this app, five kinds of remote sensing algorithms for filtering, segmentation, or classification are implemented, and the processed results are also stored and managed in image database to retrieve. Smartphone users can easily use their functions through graphical user interfaces of app which are internally linked to application server for image analysis processing and external DBMS. As well, a practical tiling method for smartphone environments is implemented to reduce delay time between user's requests and its processing server responses. Till now, most apps for remotely sensed image data sets are mainly concerned to image visualization, distinguished from this approach providing analysis capabilities. As the smartphone apps with remote sensing analysis functions for general users and experts are widely utilizing, remote sensing images are regarded as information resources being capable of producing actual mobile contents, not potential resources. It is expected that this study could trigger off the technological progresses and other unique attempts to develop the variety of smartphone apps for remote sensing images.

Mobile apps frequently request permission to access sensitive data for user convenience. However, while using mobile applications, sensitive and personal data has been leaked even if users do not allow it. To deal with this problem, Google App Store has required developers to disclose how the mobile app handles user data in a privacy policy. However, users are not certain that the privacy policy describes all the app's behavior. They have no choice but to rely on the privacy policy to confirm how the app uses data. This study designed a system that checks the reliability of privacy policies by analyzing the privacy policy texts and mobile apps. First, the system extracts and analyzes the privacy policy texts to check which personal data the privacy policy discloses that the mobile apps can collect. After analyzing which data apps can access using android static analysis, we compare both results to analyze the reliability of privacy policies. For the experiment, we collected the APK files and metadata of about 13K android apps registered in the Google Play Store and preprocessed the apps by four conditions. According to the comparison between privacy policies and mobile app behavior, many apps can access more personal data than disclosed in the privacy policy.
This study examined inservice elementary teachers' thoughts on the development of educational apps by preservice elementary teachers and implications for TPACK education for preservice elementary teachers. A case study was conducted in which preservice elementary teachers developed a science education app, and the three teachers were surveyed for their thoughts regarding this. The results regarding the characteristics of the developed app by preservice teachers were as follows. First, "inquiry" had the highest value among educational goals intended by the preservice teachers. In addition, the scores for tool-type apps and apps in which interaction between learners and instructors occurs were relatively high. Second, most of the preservice teachers developed apps to meet curriculum goals, but their apps showed low-level characteristics in terms of the constructive and cooperative dimensions. The results of the analysis of the thinking of elementary school teachers regarding the education development apps are as follows. First, elementary school teachers assigned the lowest scores to the effectiveness of the apps, and to this problem, the achievement standard with respect to the curriculum and the evaluation and modification activities fir the apps were proposed. Second, the teachers indicated that it would be appropriate to provide the experience of making apps to directly improve the TPACK of preservice teachers. Third, the respondents thought that preservice teachers should develop block coding literacy to create apps using App Inventor. Fourth, the teachers considered it necessary to emphasize simulated instructions, as well as the experience of collecting and handling data through apps to improve preservice teachers' TPACK app development for educational use.
Today, consumers are interested in branded apps as new marketing channels. Consumers do not have ready access to information that will enable them to judge the quality of a particular product or service before purchase, but they will gain such information with branded apps. As they need to be actively chosen and downloaded to users' smartphone by the users themselves, branded apps have greater marketing effectiveness and influence than traditional channels. Therefore, corporations that place emphasis on interactions with customers anticipate a new marketing effect with their branded apps. With previous research on smartphone applications as a background, this research finds key factors in branded apps that influence users' satisfaction. Additionally, the study centers on the relationship in which satisfaction in the branded app significantly influences the purchase intention for the branded product/service.
Sensors in a smartphone can be used to measure various physical quantities. In this paper, we propose an object localization scheme in a three dimenstional using a smart phone. The proposed scheme estimates the location of an object by observing it from several different points. The direction to the target object and the locations of the observation points are collected at each observation point using the location sensor and the orientation sensor in the smartphone. Based on these observations, the proposed scheme derives three dimensional line of sight vectors and estimates the location of the target object that minimizes the estimation error. We implemented the proposed scheme on an Android smartphone and tested its performance by estimating the height of a building and characteristics of the proposed approach.
