This study was investigated seasonal variation and species composition of fish species at artificial reefs (octangle three-stage compartment type and dice type)and natural rock in the Shinyang-Ri coastal waters off Jeju Island with visual census method in January 2009, April 2009, July 2009, September 2009, December 2009, March 2010, June 2010, and September 2010. A total of 44 fish species was occurred, and the dominant fish species were Apogon semilineatus, Chromis notata, Trachurus japonicus, Sebastes thompsoni and Apogon doederleini. The number of individuals of fishes was higher at April 2009 and March 2010, however, lower at June 2010 and September 2010. The number of fish speices was higher at artificial reefs than those of at natural rock. Apogon semilineatus was dominant at octangle three-stage compartment type and the dice type artificial reefs, whereas Chromis notata was for natural rock. These results indicated that artificial reefs were good habitats for a variety of fish species in the Shinyang-Ri coastal waters off Jeju Island.

2006년 1월에서 12월까지 매월 삼각망에 의해 채집된 어류의 종조성의 계절변동을 분석하였다. 조사기간 동안 35과에 속하는 59종의 어류가 채집되었다. 우점종은 대부분 부 어류로 전갱이 (Trachurus japonicus), 숭어 (Mugil cephalus), 전어 (Konosirus punctatus), 열동가리돔 (Apogon lineatus), 성대 (Chelidonichthys spinosus), 망상어 (Ditrema temmincki), 조피볼락 (Sebastes schlegeli) 그리고 줄도화돔 (Apogon semilineatus)이었는데, 이들 8종은 전체 채집 개체수의 92.7%를 차지하였다. 본 조사해역의 채집된 어류는 뚜렷한 계절 변동을 보였는데 개체수는 12월, 생체량은 3월에 가장 높은 값을 보였고, 수온이 낮은 겨울철에 개체수와 생체량이 모두 낮은 값을 보였다. 종다양도지수는 12월에 다른 계절에 비해 가장 낮은 값을 나타내었다.

1. 자리돔 들망에서 18과, 28속, 35종이 채집되었다. 낚이는 것과 저자망에 걸리는 것을 합하면 40종이상은 된다. 2. 어종으로서는 놀래기과 Labridae가 6종으로 가장 많았다. 3. 어획량으로서는 자리돔 Chromis natatus이 $90\%$이상이지만 줄도화돔 Apogon semilineatus과 놀래기류도 비교적 많이 어획되고 있다. 4. 자리돔 Chromis notatus은 수심 $15\~25m$ 수역에서 어획되고 있다. 5. 비식용의 관상용어종, 희귀종, 아열대성어류가 서기포연안일대에서 채집된다. 6. 다음 3종은 한국미기록종이다. Chromis analis, Franzia cheirospilos, Fugu exascurus.

제주도 남부 화순연안 정치망에서 채집된 유영생울의 군집구조을 밝히기 위하여 1987년 3월~10월까지 매월 1회씩 채집하였다. 조사시의 표층수온($13.3{\sim}24.8^{\circ}C$)과 염분($32.20{\sim}34.96^{\circ}/_{\circ\circ}$)은 계절적 변화를 보였고, 특히 여릅철에 변동폭이 컸다. 조사기간동안 21과(科) 28속(屬) 3종((種)이 채집되었고 20cm이하(96%)와 30g이하(74%)의 생물이 대부분이었다. 출현개체 수와 채집생물 량은 계절에 따라 다르나 1~2 종의 생울에 의해 우점(50%이상)되고 있으며 주요생물로는 전갱이, 줄도화돔, 오징어, 고등어류등이었다. 봄철에 생물량은 많지 않으냐나 종류수, 다양도 및 개체수 당 정보량지수가 높았고, 8월에 는 출현 종 수는 많지 않으나 다양도 및 개체수 당 정보량지수가 비교적 높게 나타났다. 2회이상 출현한 24종(種)은 모두 유사값도 0.14에서 군(群)을 이루었고, 비교적 높은 유사값 0.50을 기준으로 했을때 4개의 군(群)으로 구분되었다.
