FABRICATION OF AGAR-SILICA AEROGEL NANOCOMPOSITE FILMS

  • In this study, agar-based nanocomposite films containing ultra-porous silica aerogel particles were fabricated by gel casting using an aqueous agar/silica aerogel slurry. The silica aerogel particles did not show significant agglomeration and were homogeneously distributed in the agar matrix. Transmission electron microscopy observations demonstrated that the silica aerogel particles had a mesoporous microstructure and their pores were not incorporated into the agar polymer molecules. The thermal conductivities of the agar and agar/5 wt.% silica aerogel nanocomposite films were 0.36 and 0.20 W·m-1·K-1, respectively. The transmittance of the agar films did not decrease upon the addition of silica aerogel particles into them. This can be attributed to the anti-reflection effect of silica aerogel particles.

  • An omni-directional, graded-index and textured ZnO nanorods with $MgF_2$ anti-reflective(AR) coating films for the electro optical tracking system(EOTS) by e-beam evaporation method are presented. we achieved that the graded index structure can minimize image tracking interference of EOTS which is comparable to a general AR coating films. Optimized ZnO nanorods with $MgF_2$ AR coating films lead to decreasing Fresnel reflection by gradient refractive index. According to our experiment results, ZnO nanorods with $MgF_2$ AR coating films can be used for various electro optical system to improve the optical performance.

Properties and Preparation of AlNO Multi-layer Thin Films Using DC Magnetron Sputter Method (직류 마그네트론 스퍼터법에 의한 AlNO 복층박막의 제조와 특성)

  • AlNO multi-layer thin films on aluminum substrates were prepared by DC reactive magnetron sputtering method. $Al_2O_3$/AlNO(LMVF)/AlNO(HMVF)/Al/substrate of 4 multi-layer has been prepared in an Ar and ($N_2+O_2$) gas mixture, and $Al_2O_3$ of top layer is anti-reflection layer on double AlNO(LMVF)/AlNO(HMVF) layers and Al metal of infrared reflection layer. In this study, the roughness and surface properties of AlNO thin films were estimated by field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM). The grain size of AlNO thin films increased with increasing sputtering power. The composition of thin films has been systematically investigated using electron probe microanalysis(EPMA). The optical properties with wavelength spectrum were recorded by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry at a range of 200~1,500 nm. The absorptance of AlNO films shows the increasing trend with swelling ($N_2+O_2$) gas mixture in HMVF and LMVF deposition. The excellent optical performance showed above 98% of absorptance in visible wavelength region.

A Code Concealment Method using Java Reflection and Dynamic Loading in Android (안드로이드 환경에서 자바 리플렉션과 동적 로딩을 이용한 코드 은닉법)

  • Unlike existing widely used bytecode-centric Android application code obfuscation methodology, our scheme in this paper makes encrypted file i.e. DEX file self-extracted arbitrary Android application. And then suggests a method regarding making the loader app to execute encrypted file's code after saving the file in arbitrary folder. Encrypted DEX file in the loader app includes original code and some of Manifest information to conceal event treatment information. Loader app's Manifest has original app's Manifest information except included information at encrypted DEX. Using our scheme, an attacker can make malicious code including obfuscated code to avoid anti-virus software at first. Secondly, Software developer can make an application with hidden main algorithm to protect copyright using suggestion technology. We implement prototype in Android 4.4.2(Kitkat) and check obfuscation capacity of malicious code at VirusTotal to show effectiveness.

Selective Emitter Effect of porous silicon AR Coatings formed on single crystalline silicon solar cells (단결정 실리콘 태양전지에 형성한 다공성실리콘 반사방지막의 선택적 에미터 특성 연구)

  • We investigated selective emitter effect of Porous Silicon (PSI) as antireflection coatings (ARC). The thin PSi layer, less than 100nm, was electrochemically formed by electrochemical method in about $3{\mu}m$ thick $n^+$ emitter on single crystalline silicon wafer (sc-Si). The appropriate PSi formations for selective emitter effect were carried out a two steps. A first set of samples allowed to be etched after metal-contact processing and a second one to evaporate Ag front-side metallization on PSi layer, by evaluating the I-V features The PSi has reflectance less than 20% in wavelength for 450-1000nm and porosity is about 60%. The cell made after front-contact has improved cell efficiency of about in comparison with the one made after PSi. The observed increase of efficiency for samples with PSi coating could be explained not only by the reduction of the reflection loss and surface recombination but also by the increased short-circuit current (Isc) within selective emitter. The assumption was confirmed by numerical modeling. The obtained results point out that it would be possible to prepare a solar cell over 15% efficiency by the proposed simple technology.

Characteristics of Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells with Double Layer Antireflection Coating by PECVD (결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 이중 반사방지막 특성에 대한 연구)

  • The paper focuses on an anti-reflection (AR) coating deposited by PECVD in silicon solar cell fabrication. AR coating is effective to reduce the reflection of the light on the silicon wafer surface and then increase substantially the solar cell conversion efficiency. In this work, we carried out experiments to optimize double AR coating layer with silicon nitride and silicon oxide for the silicon solar cells. The p-type mono crystalline silicon wafers with $156{\times}156mm^2$ area, 0.5-3 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ resistivity, and $200{\mu}m$ thickness were used. All wafers were textured in KOH solution, doped with $POCl_3$ and removed PSG before ARC process. The optimized thickness of each ARC layer was calculated by theoretical equation. For the double layer of AR coating, silicon nitride layer was deposited first using $SiH_4$ and $NH_3$, and then silicon oxide using $SiH_4$ and $N_2O$. As a result, reflectance of $SiO_2/SiN_x$ layer was lower than single $SiN_x$ and then it resulted in increase of short-circuit current and conversion efficiency. It indicates that the double AR coating layer is necessary to obtain the high efficiency solar cell with PECVD already used in commercial line.

Lasing mode and Beam Profile Analysis of DFB Laser with an Anti-reflection Coated Mirror (무반사 면을 갖는 DFB 레이저의 발진 모드와 빔 분포 해석)

  • In this paper, when a refractive index grating and a gain grating were simultaneously present in a DFB laser having a wavelength of 1.55 ㎛, a dielectric film coating was applied so that reflection did not occur on the right mirror surface, so that 𝜌r=0. In case of δL > 0, the threshold gain and the beam distribution in the longitudinal direction and the radiated power ratio Pl/Pr of the oscillation mode were compared for the cases of the phase of 𝜌l=π and π/2. If the phase of 𝜌l=π, in order to obtain a low threshold current and high frequency stability, κL should be greater than 8. In the case of the phase of 𝜌l= π/2, when κL is larger than 4.0, the oscillation gain starts to be lower than when the phase of 𝜌l=π. In order to lower the threshold current of a oscillation mode and enhance the frequency stability, κL should be greater than 8.

Nanotexturing and Post-Etching for Diamond Wire Sawn Multicrystalline Silicon Solar Cell (다이아몬드 와이어에 의해 절단된 다결정 실리콘 태양전지의 나노텍스쳐링 및 후속 식각 연구)

  • The effects of nanotexturing and post-etching on the reflection and quantum efficiency properties of diamond wire sawn (DWS) multicrystalline silicon (mc-Si) solar cell have been investigated. The chemical solutions, which are acidic etching solution (HF-$HNO_3$), metal assisted chemical etching (MAC etch) solutions ($AgNO_3$-HF-DI, HF-$H_2O_2$-DI) and post-etching solution (diluted KOH at $80^{\circ}C$), were used for micro- and nano-texturing at the surface of diamond wire sawn (DWS) mc-Si wafer. Experiments were performed with various post-etching time conditions in order to determine the optimized etching condition for solar cell. The reflectance of mc-Si wafer texturing with acidic etching solution showed a very high reflectance value of about 30% (w/o anti-reflection coating), which indicates the insufficient light absorption for solar cell. The formation of nano-texture on the surface of mc-Si contributed to the enhancement of light absorption. Also, post-etching time condition of 240 s was found adequate to the nano-texturing of mc-Si due to its high external quantum efficiency of about 30% at short wavelengths and high short circuit current density ($J_{sc}$) of $35.4mA/cm^2$.

In this study, the crystallinity and surface properties of TiNOx thin films were estimated by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), respectively. The grain size of TiNOx thin films shows to increase with increasing sputtering power. The composition of thin films has been investigated using electron probe microanalysis(EPMA). The optical properties with wavelength spectrum were recorded by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry at a range of 200~1,500 nm. The TiNOx multi-layer films show the excellent optical performance beyond 9% of reflectance in those ranges wavelength.

Aesthetics of the Seeing-in the Phenomenological Reflection to the Seeing (시선의 미학: 시선에 관한 현상학적 반성)

  • The 21 Century is definded as an age of culture or image characterized by the fact, that modern society are being overwhelmed with virtual reality, that is full of visual images. The cultural concentration on the visual image and the excessive tendency to attend it become not only today but also ever as the leading style of culture. Nevertheless, it is particularly noteworthy that the visual image has become so one of the basic conditions of modern society, that one holds it as the society of the spectacle. So can the problem of seeing that resulted from the oculocentric culture, that is the problem of the fundamental relationship between the world and the eyes of human beings, be examined in the phenomenological sense. For this study, I believe that 『Phenomenologie de la Perception』 of Merleau-Ponty provides a important approach. The theme of this study is to refer, first, how man has dealt with the seeing in the history of philosophy, such as Plato, Kant, and Merleau-Ponty, who although not the anti-oculocentricism, but also makes serious reflection about an excess of visual images. Second, it is to explain what characteristics and problems are located in these considerations, and thirdly, it must be brought into the light, what is the essence of the seeing with regard to the beauty, the truth and the morality.
