나노 측정시스템을 위한 방진 구조물의 동적 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Design of Anti-Vibration Structures for Nano-class Measuring System)

  • It is necessary to design the anti-vibration system of precision machinery for a quality assurance. However, in general, the allowable vibration limit is not well known. In this paper, the vibration criteria for foundation of sensitive machinery is proposed and anti-vibration system is designed by using vibration measurement results of foundation. Also, the finite element analysis is performed to verify the effectiveness of the designed anti-vibration system and to determine the allowable dynamic loads of precision measuring system. The results of this study will be helpful for the future design of anti-vibration structures with nano scale measuring system.

방진 장갑 진동 전달률 측정 시스템 개발 (Development of the System for Measurement of the Vibration Transmissibility of an Anti-vibration Glove)

  • In order to evaluate performance of anti-vibration gloves, it is necessary to measure the transmitted vibration to the hand and the applied forces at the same time while gripping the vibrating handle. In the study a system was developed to measure both the vibration and the forces. The system consists of a measurement handle with eight strain gauges and two accelerometers and a PC-based system with a software for signal processing and evaluation of the hand-transmitted vibration and for control of applied forces in the pre-determined range. The handle was installed on the vibration shaker which is strong enough so as not to be affected by dynamic coupling with the hand-arm system. Whole procedure of ISO 10819 to determine the vibration transmissibility of anti-vibration gloves was programmed into the system. As an example of the application, three subjects joined the test to get vibration transmissibilities of anti-vibration gloves where each glove was tested twice a subject. Average and standard deviation of vibration transmissibility were also calculated.

  • The pneumatic isolator is widely adopted for anti-vibration of precision measuring and manufacturing equipments. But, when the precision demand on anti-vibration is extreme or the load is moving, the performance of anti-vibration can not meet satisfaction. In these cases, as a complementary, active vibration suppression system can be added for advanced performance. In this paper, an active control system is presented, which uses electromagnetic actuators for vibration suppression. The anti-vibration characteristic of pneumatic isolator is analyzed for system modeling and actuator specifying. The modeling and the 3D dynamic simulation is performed for control system design. For the electromagnetic actuator design, the magnetic flex density and the current-force characteristic analysis are achieved.

All tested gloves fulfilled criterion for M-spectrum($\overline{TR_M}$<1.0), but one glove fulfilled criterion for H-spectrum($\overline{TR_H}$<6.0),

  • One of trend of portable devices is convergence with other devices, especially with navigation system. This converged system is generally called PND (Personal Navigation Device). This detachable device is developed for personal entertainment in everyday life and navigation system when deriving, so it should meet the specification of vehicle thermal environment, anti-vibration as well as the anti-shock by sudden drop. In this paper, the way to design the hard disk drive damper with CAE, is introduced to get a reliable system from the beginning of the design step.

  • Optical devices and electronic equipments used in the laboratory of the synchrotron light source building of the accelerator have stringent vibration limits. In order to control the vibration of the building structure and HVAC systems which are main vibration sources are evaluated using experimental modal analysis. Double anti-vibration system is used for the HVAC system and results show that the double anti-vibration system reduces the vibrations of the building to acceptable levels.

  • Parametric study on the lever type dynamic anti-resonance vibration isolator (DAVI) is executed to introduce the system in the path of vibration transmission for the vibratory response attenuation. The effects of inertia and location of the lever on the system performances are investigated using FEA. The effects of other parameters such as ratio of lever lengths, ratio of masses and the location of pivot are studied with analytical approach. According to the results, all the parameters except lever location affect the system response in their own ways. Consequently, the optimal lever type DAVI for translational or rotational system can be efficiently designed by selecting system parameters using the procedure introduced in this study.

  • 공기스프링을 감쇠기로 사용하는 방진대는 넓은 주파수대역에서 우수한 진동 절연성능을 가짐으로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 하지만 공기스프링은 구조적으로 저강성, 저감쇠의 특성을 가지고 있으므로 외란에 의해 쉽게 가진되어 안정성이 떨어지는 문제가 있다. 이에 공기스프링과 같은 수동소자만을 이용한 수동제어 형식의 보완을 위해 능동 및 반능동 방식의 감쇠기가 제안되고 연구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 수동형 제진대의 능동 및 반능동제어를 위한 동역학적 해석에 관하여 연구하였다. 제진대의 제어시스템 구현을 위하여 6 자유도 제진대의 물리적인 특성에 기초한 동역학적 모델을 정립하고 해석 및 실험을 통해 동역학 모델의 적용가능성을 검증하였다.

대형석탄화력발전용 보일러 관군의 Anti-Noise Baffle 설치에 따른 음향공진 (Acoustic resonance by Inserting Anti-noise Baffle in the Tube Bank of Boiler of a Large Fossil Power Plant)

  • This paper presents phenomena of vibration and noise due to acoustic resonance in tube bank of a large fossil power plant. The phenomena of acoustic resonance may arise when the vortex shedding frequency coincides with the acoustic natural frequency. In this system dominant frequency of vibration and noise was 37.5Hz. The $3^{rd}$ acoustic natural frequency calculated was 37.2 Hz. When the difference of vortex shedding frequency and acoustic natural frequency is within ${\pm}20%$, acoustic resonance could occur. If system is the state of acoustic resonance, vibration and noise become large. In order to prevent acoustic resonance, anti-noise baffle should be installed in the tube bank. In the case of installing baffle, we should consider the number of baffle and the effect of acoustic mode due to baffle extension length. To do this, we did acoustic mode analysis. After installing anti-noise baffle, acoustic resonance was disappeared and vibration magnitude and noise level was reduced dramatically.
