In this paper, a horizontal LOS(line of sight) rate estimator for conventional sea skimming ASM(anti-ship missile) is proposed. A LOS rate dynamics model for a 2-axis gimbal system and the homing geometry is derived. A new LOS rate estimator is proposed by applying the Kalman filter theory to the LOS rate dynamics model. The proposed filter estimates LOS rates by taking roll motions into account. Simulation results show that the proposed filter produces smaller estimation errors than a conventional method.

One maglev vehicle is composed of 6 or 8 modules. Each module is composed of 4 staggered magnets attached to an aluminum bogie. In the view point of levitation control except propulsion-by LIM. 5 is the maximum degree of freedom to be controlled. But rolling control of the vhhicle depends on the bogie structure. We describe just anti-roll type bogie structure and 4 degree of freedom control is sufficient for levitation quality improvement. Multivariable pole-placement concept is used for controller design. Control experiment is performed on a specially designed test module as well as actual bogie system.

군용항공기는 고받음각에서 적절한 조종성 및 항공기 이탈에 대한 안정성을 확보하고 있어야 한다. 고받음각에서 항공기가 이탈에 진입할 수 있는 한계값은 항공기 형상설계에 직결되는 문제이다. 하지만 현대의 고성능 전투기는 전기식 비행제어계통을 사용하여 고받음각 제어법칙을 설계함으로써 한계 값 내에서 항공기의 안정성을 보장하고 있으며 항공기가 이탈 시, 안전하게 회복할 수 있도록 고받음각 제어법칙을 설계한다. 현재 T-50에 적용되어 있는 고받음각 제어법칙은, 세로축 방향으로는 받음각 제한기 및 MPO(Manual Pitch Override) 모드, 가로-방향축으로는 고받음각 이탈제한기, 가로축 명령제한기, 방향축 조종사 명령제한기 및 스핀방지기가 설계되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 T-50 에 적용되어 있는 고받음각 제어법칙을 소개하며, 고받음각 비행시험을 통하여 항공기 안정성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the formative characteristics and symbolism shown in Rock stars' hairstyles through rock music to have influenced youth culture. There were a D.A style and a mop top style which included the youth characteristic to seek a new desire and value as the hairstyles of Rock & Roll stars, along with the characteristics of Rock & Roll music to represent the feeling of teenagers in 1950's at that time unlike the previous music due to high beats mixed with Rhythm & Blues (R & B) and Country music, and use of electronic guitars. We can see the desire for challenge and freedom against the then present regime, shouting love and peace, and resistance in the Psychedelic Rock music stars' hairstyle, which are untrimmed and disheveled, that is, natural. We can find explosiveness in Mohican and Spike style of Punk Rock stars playing fierce and aggressive music, along with words including indignation and assertion against the society's regime. The Artistic characteristic is implied in the following hairstyles: Glam Rock stars' hairstyle, a man's long-haired but a little long crew-cut style to reduce the bulky feeling and to give a bisexual, visible shock with hair dyed in orange to emphasize magnificence, and Punk Rock stars' hairstyle showing beauty in their own way with expression of anti-beauty to intentionally look ugly. Like this, the 20th Century's Rock music and youth culture are closely associated each other, and showed a new style, and played a leading role in street fashion, which became a momentum to much influence high fashion as a look of the 20th century modern fashion.

The purpose of this study was to estimate the possibility of practical application of TiN ion-plating method on orthodontic appliances. TiN was coated on the surface of orthodontic stainless steel roll band by means of ion-plating method, and colorimetric properties of its obtained TiN film were investigated by using color analyzer. Also its corrosion and discoloration properties were compared with those of non ion-plated stainless steel roll band by using immersion test, which was done in 1N HCl solution for 10 days. Both weight changes and surface corrosion appearances of specimens for each day were respectively investigated by using electronic weighing machine and SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). The discoloration degress of TiN-coated specimens immersed in 1N HCl solution were investigated by using color analyzer and then judged by N.B.S.(National Bureau of Standard) Unit. The results of this study were summarized as follows. o TiN ion-plated films showed the hue of 5Y, the value of 7, and the chroma of 3 by Munsell notations. o The weight losses and surface changes of TiN ion-plated specimens immersed in 1N HCl solution were less than those of non ion-plated specimens. It was shown, therefore, that the corrosion resistance was significantly improved by TiN ion-plating. o The discoloration degrees of non ion-plated specimens were too significant to be examined by color analyzer, while those of TiN ion-plated specimens were slight when judged by N.B.S. Unit. It was also apparent, therefore, that the anti-discoloration property was significantly improved by TiN ion-plating.

Street Style, occurred in British and America, has been expressed the character of the new generation by repeating developments and changes. Nowadays, pop music reflects the phase of society. and simultaneously it has influence on from culture to society. Rock Music was rooted in Country 8l western of America. Upon Country & Western, Afro-Americans Rhythm & Blues was added, and that was the birth of Rockabilly. Rockabilly developed to Rock'n 'roll and it started to change to various forms of Rock since 1950s. As the commercial impact and the breakthrough of teenagers emotion, the rock culture comprised the base of the youth culture. However. it formed the anti-establishment culture against the established value, accepting working class subculture. The teenager culture was affected by the Rock culture, also found relief in the opulence provided by the established generation, imitating it as it was. Simultaneously, it had a contrary aspect as anti-establishment form under the banner of revolt against languor in richness. The youth culture created street style that was escaped from high fashion, every time Rock music had changes. Since Street style was based on resistance of established culture and it fully refused vogue, it was indifferent from high fashion. The results of this study were as following. First, every time Rock music had changes, the new youth culture was concomitant with, the youth culture created street style. Secondly, rockahibilly style was characterized as diamond shaped design, embroidery, extra wide shirt collar, vivid contrast color . Rockers style was represented as metal studs, beads, denim, leather jacket, boots. Fusion of hippies style and Psychedelic, long hair, beads. worn denim were elements of headbangers style. Punks style was characterized as ripped T-shirt. rooster hair, over decorated jacket, short skirt. net or plastic T-shirt. Lastly, the firm relation between popular art and fashion was proved by examining the history of Rock Music and Street Style.

본 연구에서는 선미익을 채용한 경항공기인 반디호의 수출형 시제기에 대한 플러터 해석을 수행하였다. 내부 하중 생성용 유한요소모델을 기초로 강성 모델을 작성하였고, 중량 통제를 위한 중량 DB에 근거하여 중량 모델을 작성하였다. 공력모델은 DLM을 이용하였다. 작성된 모델을 이용하여 1차 플러터 해석을 수행하였다. 이를 토대로 주요 진동 모드를 구분해 내고, 지상진동시험을 수행하여 진동 특성을 획득하였다. 획득된 고유진동수를 근거로 유한요소모델의 수정이 이루어졌고 2차 해석이 수행되었다. 해석 결과 주요 플러터 근의 특성을 정리하였다. 가장 중요한 플러터 근은 롤 운동을 갖는 강체 모드와 반대칭 주익 피칭 모드의 연계 모드로 판명되었다.

An approach to increase the seismic resistance of large structures is to reduce the seismic forces, to which structures are subjected by base isolation systems. The anti-seismic performance of base-isolated beatings has been verified experimentally by shaking table tests. However, it may be difficult to perform the tests for the full-scale beatings of base-isolated structures. Therefore, the test program was designed to evaluate the reliability and properties of the beatings under a range of loading conditions including axial stress, loading frequency and direction, and temperature. The effects of scale were also evaluated by comparing the results of the 1/4-scale beatings with those from the full-scale bearings, and the ultimate behavior of both types of bearings with evaluated through a series of roll-out tests. This report draws comparisons among the different tests and bearings to determine the importance of various factors including load history, axial stress, and frequency. Comparisons between the 1/4-scale bearings were difficult because of the scaling effects in manufacturing and thermal radiation, but qualitative results from the 1/4-scale bearings can certainly be extrapolated the full-scale bearings.

This paper presents the main outcomes of the preliminary development of the Anuloid, an innovative disk-shaped VTOL aircraft. The Anuloid has three main features: lift is provided by a ducted fan powered by a turboshaft; control capabilities and anti-torque are due to a system of fixed and movable surfaces that are placed in the circular internal duct and the bottom portion of the aircraft; the Coanda effect is exploited to enable the control capabilities of such surfaces. In this paper, results from flight mechanics are presented. The vertical flight dynamics were found to be desirable. In contrast, the horizontal flight dynamics of the aircraft shows both dynamic instability, and more importantly, insufficient pitch and roll control authority. Some recommendations and guidelines are then given aimed at the alleviation of such problems.

This purpose of this study is to research on the influence on the creation of young generation's street fashion of pop stars focused on pop music given the fact that fashion can be created by popular culture in this multi-media era. Also, this study is to provide useful data for the activation of the creation of young fashion culture and the fashion industry through pop stars' fashion. The pop stars' fashion that has affected young street fashion is as follows : Elvis Presley's rock'n'roll style, Beatles' mods style, Janis Joplin's hippy style, Sex Pistols's punk style, Madonna's boy-toy and corset style, Michael Jackson's androgynous style, Puff Daddy and L.L Cool J's hip-hop style, Bob Marley's reggae style, Spice Girls, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears's sexy style. The young street fashion culture of pop stars and its industrial meaning withdrawn from the above are as follows : Creation of a fashion icon, Creation of anti-fashion, Liberation of a sex role, Costume play culture, Activation of the young fashion industry through star marketing.
