레이저 계측기를 이용한 축의 비틀림 진동에 관한 실험적 기초 연구 (The Experimental and Basic Study on Torsional Vibration of Horizontal Rotating Shaft using a Laser Measuring Equipment)

  • In this study, the nose of cam in the automobile engine was modelled into circular disk to analyze the torsional vibration of the cam shaft. The distance between disks was fixed, but the diameter of disks was changed. The torsional vibration of the cam shaft was studied experimentally by the motion of the modelled disk with changing the disk diameter. And the sizes of the modelled disk were selected not to show the natural frequencies over all the experimental ranges. The torsional vibration meter used in this study has a laser system with non-contact measurement method, which can measure both torsional angular vibration velocity and torsional angular vibration displacement simultaneously. The Experimental analysis shows that the characteristics of the torsional vibration in the horizontal rotating shaft can be considerably affected by the arrangement of the modelled disks.

선체의 횡요와 어군탐지기의 탐지기능범위에 관하여 (Effects of Ship`s Roll Motion on the Detectable Area of Echo Sounder)

  • When detecting underwater targets using echo sounder, the echo signals varies with the angular displacement of the transducer due to ship's motion. Then, the effect of the angular which effects the capability of the echo sounder must be investigated in relation to the detection of fish concentration, particularly, the abundance estimation of fish. In this pater, as the basic research to investigate the effect of the ship's motion when estimating the fish stocks by acoustic methods, the authors was theoritically considered the variations in the values of the two way directivity function of transducer in the direction of the targets which caused by the angular motion of transducer. Here, the effects of the movement of target and ship's running are neglected. At the same time, the data was applied to estimate the angular shift of the detectable area of echo sounder due to transducer displacement. From the results analyzed, we found that the angular shift of the detectable area due to ship's motion increases both as the roll angle increases and as the beamwidth becomes narrower, varies with the depth.

도마 츠카하라 몸 접어 뒤로 두 번 돌기의 운동역학적 분석 (Biomechanical Analysis of Tsukahara Vault with Double Salto Backward Piked)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the technical factors of Lu Yu Fu vault actually performed by three men gymnasts participated in artistic gymnastics competition of 2003 summer Universiade in Daegu through the DLT method of three dimensional cinematography. To analyze these vaults, the instant events of Lu Yu Fu were set in the board touchdown(BTD), the board takeoff(BTO), the horse touchdown(HTD), the horse takeoff(HTO), the peak height(PH), the mat touchdown(MTD) respectively and the phases of that vault were set in the board contact(BC), the preflight(PRF), the horse contact(HC), the postflight(POF), the grounding on mat(GM) respectively After calculating the performance times, the CG displacement velocity, the kinetic energy impulse reaction force moment arm torque at the horse, the released angle piked angle addressed angle, the angular momentum angular velocity of whole body in x axis, and the horizontal displacement between the feet and CG, the following conclusions were reached. To perform the better Lu Yu Fu vault, a gymnast must have the large horizontal velocity of whole body with fast run-up, decrease the duration time and the horizontal vertical displacement of whole body in PRF, have the enough time to judge the correct magnitude and direction of force to brake or push the horse so as to lengthen the HC duration time at any cost. Also it is desirable to increase the horizontal vertical displacement of whole body in POF if possible, maintain the adequate piked position to decrease the angular velocity of whole body in x axis, prepare the grounding on mat previously and delay the release of the hand from the body to keep the angular momentum.

보행보조 로봇의 운동학적 특성 (Kinematic Characteristics of Walking-Assistance Robot)

  • 보행 재활 훈련용 보행보조 로봇을 개발하고, 시제품의 운동학적 특성을 평가하였다. 이 보행보조 로봇은 고관절(hip), 슬관절(knee), 족관절(ankle) 등으로 구성되며, 각 관절은 감속기가 포함된 모터에 의해 구동된다. 인체 보행 운동을 이론적으로 해석하여, 보행 운동 중 각 관절의 각도 변위를 계산하는 식을 구하였고, 계산된 각도 변위를 로봇 구동기에 입력하였다. 트레드밀(treadmill) 위에서의 실험을 통해 다양한 보행 속도(walking speed) 및 보폭(stride)에서 각 관절의 출력 각도 변위를 측정하고 입력 값과 비교하였다. 입력 각도 변위와 출력 각도 변위의 차이가 고관절에서는 5.22%, 슬관절에서는 2.97% 이내로 일치함을 확인하여, 설계대로 보행보조 로봇이 작동함을 입증하였다.

경사 전극 배열을 이용한 각도방향 마이크로 구동부 제작 (Skewed Electrode Array(SEA) and Its Application as an Angular Microactuator)

  • The angular electrostatic microactuator using skewed electrode array (SEA) scheme was proposed. The moving and fixed electrodes are arranged to make the driving force perpendicular to the rotating moment of arm. By changing the electrode overlap length, the magnitude of electrostatic force and stable displacement will be changed. In order to optimize the design, electrostatic FE analysis were carried out and the empirical force model was established for SEA. Simulation was performed to make the comparison between conventional actuators and SEA. The proposed SEA generates actuating torque 2 times greater than a comb-drive and stable actuator displacement 40% greater than a parallel plate type actuator. The angular electrostatic microactuator using skewed SEA scheme was designed and fabricated using SoG process.

  • A compact linear and angular displacement measurement device was developed by combining a Michelson interferometer and an autocollimator to characterize the movement of a precision stage. A Michelson interferometer and an autocollimator are typical devices for measuring linear and angular displacement, respectively. By controlling the polarization of reflected beam from the target mirror of the interferometer, some part of light was retro-reflected to the light source and the reflected beam was used for angle measurement. The interferometer and the autocollimator use the same optic axis and the target mirror can be easily and precisely aligned orthogonal to the optic axis by monitoring the autocollimator s signal. The autocollimator was designed for angular resolution of 0.1 arcsec and dynamic range of 60 arcsec. The nonlinearity error of interferometer was minimized by trimming the gain and offset of the photodiode signals. Through the experiments, we evaluate the performance of measurement device and discuss its applications.

각변위 방식을 이용한 캡슐의 오리엔테이션 측정 방법 (Orientation Tracking Method based on Angular Displacement for Wireless Capsule Endoscope)

  • 본 논문은 각변위 방식을 이용한 소화경로 모델링 및 경로에 대한 캡슐의 오리엔테이션 측정 방법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방법은 캡슐 내시경의 자세를 3차원 방향벡터와 이의 회전성분으로 표현하였다. 소화경로에 대한 캡슐의 오리엔테이션 정보인 롤, 피치 그리고 요우 값은 각각 $1.6^{\circ}$ 이내의 오차를 보였다. 제안된 방법은 자기장을 이용한 오리엔테이션 측정에서 롤값 측정 문제를 해결하였다. 오일러 각을 이용한 기존의 오리엔테이션 측정 방식과 비교하여 알고리즘의 복잡도를 줄였다.

요추 불안정 환자에서 단순방사선 소견과 자기공명영상 소견의 비교 (Comparison of Radiography Findings and Magnetic Resonance Image Findings of Lumbar Spine Instability Patients)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate how dose the radiography findings are to magnetic resonance (MR) image findings in the L5-S1 instability patients. The subjects of this study were comprised of eleven males and fifteen females, who had Lumbago and agreed with this research. Methods: Radiography and MR images of Lumbar spine were acquired respectively from subjects in conditions of maximum flexion and extension. The horizontal and angular displacements in lumabosacral spine radiography were used to assess the instability of lumbar spine. MR images were also used to evaluate the intervertebral disc abnormalities and change of bone marrow. Results: The results are as follows. 1. In the case of flexion transitional displacement proposed by Dupuis et al, the specificity and negative predictive value were good accuracy ($0.7{\sim}0.8$), and the negative predictive value was in average. In the case of extension displacement, the negative predictive value was about average ($0.6{\sim}0.7$), but the sensitivity, specificity and positive predictive value were below the poor (<0.6). On the other side, the specificity was about average but other things were below in the case of angular displacement. 2. In the case of flexion transitional displacement proposed by Dupuis et al., compared with the intervertebral disc abnormalities, the negative prediction value was excellent, the sensitivity good, and the specificity about average. In the case of extension, the negative prediction value was about average, but the other things were poor. On the other side the specificity and negative predictive value had good accuracy and the sensitivity and positive prediction value were below average in the case of angular displacement. Conclusion: The above results show that the radiography finding is sufficiently helpful to find the lumbar spine instability as an economic point of view.

회전 진동 교정 장치 구현을 위한 고정밀 측정기법에 대한 연구 (Study on the Precision Method of Measuring angular displacement for the Angular Vibration Calibration System)

  • This paper addresses the study on developing the angular vibration calibration system which requires the highly accurate measurement technique of the amplitude and period of an oscillating angular motion. Two developed models for the low and high frequency ranges are introduced and their main features are also compared. In addition to the angular vibration exciters, a new measurement method, referred to the 'equi-angle sampling method', is proposed and its theoretical backgrounds are introduced. The proposed method is shown to provide much less measurement uncertainty, compared the fringe counting method. Experimental results demonstrate what amount of angular vibration amplitude measurement uncertainty is improved by suing the proposed equi-angle sampling method.

이동질량을 가진 유체유동 회전 외팔 파이프의 동특성 (Dynamic Behavior of Rotating Cantilever Pipe Conveying Fluid with Moving Mass)

  • In this paper, we studied about the effects of the rotating cantilever pipe conveying fluid with a moving mass. The influences of a rotating angular velocity, the velocity of fluid flow and moving mass on the dynamic behavior of a cantilever pipe have been studied by the numerical method. The equation of motion is derived by using the Lagrange's equation. The cantilever pipe is modeled by the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. When the velocity of a moving mass is constant, the lateral tip-displacement of a cantilever pipe is proportional to the moving mass and the angular velocity. In the steady state, the lateral tip-displacement of a cantilever pipe is more sensitive to the velocity of fluid than the angular velocity, and the axial deflection of a cantilever pipe is more sensitive to the effect of a angular velocity. Totally, as the moving mass is increased, the frequency of a cantilever pipe is decreased in steady state.
