This study attempted to compare and analyze the commercially available multi-use patterns to develop mask patterns suitable for the face types of adult women. Through this, it was intended to provide necessary data to mask pattern development and products. As a results of comparing the dimensions and shapes of commercial multi-use mask patterns, there was a significant difference in dimensions even though it was a L-size mask manufactured for adults. As a result of the appearance evaluation of the virtual outfit, there were significant differences by design in the vertical of the center front line, the cover and space of the mask, the height of the nose, and the lower part of the mask. The side also showed significant differences in the covering of the side of the face, the space of the side, and the width and length of the string. As a result of the appearance evaluation, Mask 4 received the best evaluation. The shape of the mask pattern had a large dart in the lower part of the nose so that it can cover the three-dimensional shape of the face, but there was a difference in the degree and angle of the curve depending on the mask. Although the upper part of the mask, the lower part of the mask, and the cheek part are in close contact, the evaluation of the mask pattern, which has room in the nose and mouth, was high. It is thought that the mask pattern should be set according to the upper length, lower length, and nose height of the mask through analysis of the face shape and dimensions.
Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites not only approach almost near to the strength of thermosetting composite but also has excellent productivity, recycling property, and impact resistance, which are pointed as weaknesses of thermosetting composites. The study for strength calculation of one direction fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites and the study measuring precisely fiber orientation distribution were presented. Need the systematic study for the data base that can predict mechanical properties of composite material and fiber orientation distribution by the fiber content ratio was not constructed. Therefore, this study was investigated what affect the fiber content ratio and fiber orientation distribution have on the strength of composites. Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites by changing fiber orientation distribution and the fiber content ratio were made. Tensile strength ratio of $0^{\circ}$ direction of fiber-reinforced composites increased being proportional the fiber content and fiber orientation function as change from isotropy(J=0) to anisotropy(J=1). But, tensile strength ratio of $90^{\circ}$ direction by separation of fiber filament decreased when tensile load is imposed fur width direction of reinforcement fiber length direction.

In this study, FEM analysis was performed with the goal of optimal design of corrugated CFRP panels reinforcing H-shaped beams with slender plate webs. The buckling reinforcement performance of corrugated CFRP panels according to various specifications was evaluated, and in particular, a new reinforcement method was proposed by analyzing the effect of the ratio of vertical reinforcement according to the net height of the abdomen of the H-type beam on the location of the first elastic buckling mode. To minimize the amount of CFRP used, the attachment angle was set to 45 degrees. Furthermore, parameter analysis was performed according to changes in the specifications of the corrugated CFRP panel, and the buckling reinforcement performance of the corrugated CFRP panel was evaluated through the ductility factor. In addition, we attempted to use the material efficiently by simultaneously considering the maximum load and ductility factor along with the volume of the corrugated CFRP panels. It was confirmed that the model with two or three-layer CFRP laminate have a high ductility factor and efficient use of materials, and that the buckling reinforcement performance is predominantly affected by the length and height of the corrugated CFRP panel rather than the width.
Effects of seeding pattern and rate on the yield and some agronomic characters of barley under different cultural conditions were observed at Suweon, Daejeon and Jinju during the barley growing season from 1972 to 1974. Plant height and culm length were increased by dense seeding, shading, heavy fertilization, moving location down to the lower latitude. The tiller number per plant, dry matter weight, leaf number on main stem, percentage of valid tillers, RGR, NAR, and $R_{A}$ were increased by heavy fertilization, sparse seeding, reduced furrow width and drilling likewise the length, width and angle of leaf. The newer cultivar had higher RGR and NAR. The higher yielding cultivars had higher potential for carbohydrate assimilating ability. Straw weight and grain yield were increased by dense seeding, reduced furrow width, drilling, heavier fertilization and moving the location to the south, and then decreased by shading and late seeding. High yield increase by drilling was found in late seeding. The optimum seeding rate for the yield increase were 15l/10a for furrow and 25l/10a for drilling. The spike number type cultivars were favourable for the sparse seeding and the spike weight type cultivars seemed to be suitable to the dense seeding, The repeatability of days to heading due to location and fertilizer level was higher than that of seeding time and seeding method. Repeatability of culm length was extremly high in seeding method and comparatively high in fertilizer level while low in location. The repeatability of yield due to location and seeding methods was comparatively high, but the tendency was different along with different cultivars. Also the repeatability of yield due to the fertilizer level was generally high except cultivar Haganemngi.

To analyze an infinite slope that is reinforced with stabilizing piles, the forces on the stabilizing pile were estimated by the theory of plastic deformation and the theory of plastic flow and the effects of diverse factors on the factor of safety of an infinite slope were investigated. According to the results of the analyses, the factor of the safety of the slope reinforced with stabilized piles were increased tremendously and the factor of safety decreased as the center to center distance of the stabilizing pile increased. The effect of the existence of seepage of the infinite slope with stabilizing piles on the factor of safety appears to be insignificant. Considering the formulated factor of safety of an infinite slope with stabilizing piles, the width and length of the element of the infinite slope and force on the stabilizing pile influence the factor of safety of the infinite slope with a stabilizing pile including the soil strength parameter, inclination of the slope and depth of the slope, which are important for calculating the factor of safety of a non-reinforced infinite slope. The factor of safety of an infinite slope with stabilizing piles derived from the theory of plastic deformation were increased significantly with the internal friction angle of the soil, and the minimum and the maximum factor of safety under the conditions considered in this study were 13.7 and 65.6, respectively. As the diameter of the stabilizing pile increased, the forces on the stabilizing pile also increased but the factor of safety of the infinite slope with stabilizing piles decreased due to the effects of the width and the length of the element of the infinite slope. The factor of safety of the infinite slope with stabilizing piles derived from plastic flow were much larger than that of the non-reinforced infinite slope and the factor safety of the infinite slope with a stabilizing pile increased with increasing product of the flow velocity and plastic viscosity ( ) and the factor of safety of the infinite slope with stabilizing piles decreased with increasing center to center distance of the pile.
Three Pinus densiflora populations as shown in location map (Fig. 1) were studied in 1977. These succeed the population numbers 10, 11 and 12 after the preceeding populations. Following the previous study methods, 20 trees were chosen from each population and the morphological characteristics such as tree forms, branching habit, needle and wood properties were investigated. The results are summerized as follows; 1. The mean stand ages were ranged from 40 to 45. The growth performances of trees of population 10 and 11 was similar, but 12 seemed to be inferior more or less. 2. The ratios of clear bole length was 0.53 in population 12 as the highest but 0.43 for population 10 as the lowest. 3. The population 12 was considered to be a stand of the coarser branching habit having the crown index (The maximum crown diameter/the crown length) 1.65 though the mean branching angle indicates almost horizontal. 4. The differences were observed in the clear bole length ratios and crown-indices between populations as shown in Fig. 3 and 4. 5. No inter-population differences in serration density of needle was shown but significant inter and intra-population and individual differences (within population) in number of stomata rows and resin duct. 6. Population 12 shown 0.119 of resin duct index as the maximum. 7. The pattern of diameter growth, analyses based on the width of 10-year-ring segment unit (for example, the 1st segment denotes the width between pith center and 10th year ring and the 2nd one is from 11th to 20th year ring and so on.), was alike among populations as shown in Fig. 9. 8. No significant differences between population in mean summer wood percentages as well as in wood specific gravity was observed. The values of wood specific gravity were increased with the increase of ages in population 10 and 11 however vice versa in population 12. 9. The fiber length was increased with the increase of age but no differences between populations as shown in Fig. 12.
Recently as the interest in the development of domestic ore deposits has increased, we can easily find some studies on exploration geophysics-based ore deposit survey in literature. Geophysical surveys have been applied to the investigation of both metallic and non-metallic ore deposit. For metallic ore-deposit survey, the 2D electrical resistivity method has been popularly used, because metallic mineral deposits are generally more conductive than surrounding media. However, geological structures are 3D rather than 2D structures, which may lead to misinterpretation in 2D inversion section. In this study, 3D effects are examined for several 3D structures such as a width-varying dyke model and a wedge-shaped model. We also investigate the effects of the direction of survey line. Numerical results show that the width-varying dyke model yields some low resistivity zone in the deep part, which is independent of real ore-body location. For the wedge-shaped model, even though the survey line is located apart from the ore body, the 2D inversion section still shows low resistivity zone in the deep part. When the survey line is not perpendicular to the strike of the ore body, the low resistivity zone is slightly broader but shallower than that obtained along the survey line perpendicular to the strike. For the survey lines that have an angle smaller than $45^{\circ}$ with the strike of the ore body, the inversion results are totally distorted. From these results, we conclude that 2-D survey and interpretation can lead to misinterpretation of subsurface structures, which may be linked to economical loss. Eventually, we recommend to apply 3-D rather than 2-D electrical resistivity survey for ore-deposit survey.
Predicting the arch length discrepancy by simply comparing the available arch perimeter with tooth materials is merely a 2-dimensional analysis of the teeth movement. However, the real teeth movement takes place 3-dimensionally and is affected by various factors such as, the arch fen the curve of Spee and the axis of the incisors. The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the decrease in the arch perimeter and the horizontal positional change of the incisors after extraction of the 1st bicuspids, for more analytic evaluation of the arch length discrepancy at pre-treatment model analysis stage. In addition to that to evaluate the effect of the curve of Spee, teeth axis to the basal plane, and the incisional crowding to the treatment outcome. All patients were treated at the department of orthodontics, dental hospital, Yonsei university. Inclusion criteria for patients selection were as follows. $\cdot$ Angle classification I malocclusion with bialveolar protrusion $\cdot$ Extraction of 4 1st bicuspids $\cdot$ No tooth anomaly or prosthesis $\cdot$ No abnormal attrition $\cdot$ No ectopically erupted teeth $\cdot$ Angle classification I canine and molar relationship $\cdot$ Less than 3mm of crowding Model analysis of the above patients was performed and the following conclusions were obtained. 1. When the intercanine distance was maintained, the available space for the distal movement of the mandibular incisors after the extraction of the 4 1st bicuspids was larger than the space provided by the extraction of the 4 1st bicuspids. However the difference was less than 1mm. The more tapered the anterior arch form, the larger the difference. 2. Compared to the situation in which the intercanine distance was maintained, when the intercanine distance was expanded to meet the width of the Posterior teeth, the incisors could move about 3mm more distally. 3. The positional difference of the incisal tip was insignificant whether the central incisors were moved by tipping or bodily movement. 4. When the anterior crowding was solved without changing the intercanine distance, the larger the anterior arch length was, the more the anterior movement of the incisors. 5. When the curve of Spee was levelled, the increase in the arch perimeter was less than half of the deepest curve of Spee.
At a recent medical imaging technology, the major issue of X-ray diagnosis in breast cancer is the early detection of breast cancer and low patient's exposure dose. As one of studies to acquire a monochromatic X-ray, Technologies using multilayer mirror had been preceded. However, a uniform multilayer mirror that consists of uniform thin-film thickness can acquire a monochromatic X-ray only in the partial area corresponds to angle of incidence of white X-ray, so there are limits for X-ray imaging technology applications. In this study, we designed laterally graded multilayer mirror(below GML) that reflects same monochromatic X-ray over the entire area of thin-film mirror, which have the the thickness of the linear gradient that correspond to angle of incidence of white X-ray. By using ion-beam sputtering system added the mask control system we fabricated a GML which has size of $100{\times}100mm^2$. The GML is designed to achieve the monochromatic X-ray of 17.5kev energy and has thin-film thickness change from 4.62nm to 6.57nm(3.87nm at center). It reflects the monochromatic X-ray with reflectivity of more than 60 percent, FWHM of below 2.6keV and X-ray beam width of about 3mm. The monochromatic X-ray corresponded to 17.5keV using GML would have wide application in development of mammography system with high contrast and low dose.
This study was classified and compared astigmatism's refractional abnormal degrees with visual acuity state of full correction which turned on axises of only 5 degree, 10 degree, and 15 degree. Subjects of this study were 57 college students (114 eyes) who had neither eye diseases nor binocular abnormality, were from their twenties to fifties, with myopia. It appeared that 30.8% of subjects who had astigmatism wore glasses with wrong axis of astigmatism. After accurate correction of the visual acuity and degrees of astigmatism, when we moved to corrected axises at 5 degree, 10 degree, 15 degree, failure of visual acuity with one line or more were 56.1%, 84.2%, 93.8%, respectively. When we comapre the completely-corrected visual acuity with the visual acuity with dricted axes, the bigger the width of visual acuity's weakness was the bigger the drifted angle. The change of normal visual acuity according to drifting angle of corrected axises of astigmatism, when we compared with full correction, appeared 0.94 in 5 degree, 0.87 in 10 degree, and 0.79 in 15 degree. Drift of 5 degree from fully corrected axis, corresponded to difference of visual acuity about one line, drift of 10 degree to 1.8 line difference of visual acuity, and drift of 15 degree about to 2.6 line difference. Through this study, we were sure that, in the case of drifting away from the right axis of astigmatism, it lead to visual weakness and asthenopia. Therefore we darely advise that optometrists should make mistake of axis least by confirming accucacy of corrected axis after despensing of spectacles of astigmatism.
