  • The object of the study is to discuss the effect of magic ink as a surface active substance on the mechanism of chip formation in oblique cutting. The Rehbinder effect has been known as a phenomenon that the mechanical strength reduces when the metal is coated with some surface active substances. In order to interpret these surface effects defined by Rehbinder, the influence on the shear strength of shear plane by coating surface active substances, cutting force by the depth of cut, surface roughness and hardness ratio were observed. The results are as follows: 1. By coating the magic ink on free surface of the forming chip, the effective shear angle increases, and the cuttinbg force and the deformed chip thickness decreases. 2. With the large inclination angle the effective shear angle increases, and the specific cutting force and the friction angle decrease. 3. Cutting of the coated surface improves the surface roughness and the hardness ratio drops, which means another Rehbinder effect.

  • The tribrachial flame in laminar coflow jet has been investigated experimentally with unsteady propagating condition. In this experiment, we found that the tribrachial point has an angle of flame surface because the location of tribrachial point is not on the base point of flame but on the inclined surface of flame. This angle of Flame surface at tribrachial point are increasing when the flame is approaching to the nozzle exit. With considering this angle of flame surface, the radial velocity gradient can affect flame propagation speed by increasing flow-stretch effect. The propagation speed of tribrachial flame was calculated with including above stretch effect. The speed decreases with increasing velocity gradient due to the increment of stretch effect.

  • A numerical investigation of the performance of the plate heat exchanger with rectangular winglet is conducted to examine the combined effect of vortex generator and louver fins. Velocity and temperature fields and spanwise averaged Nu and friction factor are presented. Enhancement of heat transfer and flow loss penalty is evident. A Parametric study of three factors (Re, angle of attack and louver angle) with levels of 5 (Re= 300, 500, 700, 900, 1100), 4($\alpha=15^{\circ}, 30^{\circ}, 45^{\circ}, 90^{\circ},$), and 4($\beta=0^{\circ}, 15^{\circ}, 30^{\circ}, 45^{\circ}$), respectively, indicates the performance defined by the ratio of heat transfer enhancement to flow loss penalty shows monotonic behavior for each parameter alone but the interactions between parameters is found to be considerable effect on the performance of heat exchanger and should be considered in design. The effect of stamping is also examined.

  • Objective: To evaluate the relative importance of bilabial prominence in relation to other facial profile parameters in a normal population. Methods: Profile stimulus images of 38 individuals (28 female and 10 male; ages 19-25 years) were shown to an unrelated group of first-year students (n = 42; ages 18-24 years). The images were individually viewed on a 17-inch monitor. The observers received standardized instructions before viewing. A six-question questionnaire was completed using a Likert-type scale. The responses were analyzed by ordered logistic regression to identify associations between profile characteristics and observer preferences. The Bayesian Information Criterion was used to select variables that explained observer preferences most accurately. Results: Nasal, bilabial, and chin prominences; the nasofrontal angle; and lip curls had the greatest effect on overall profile attractiveness perceptions. The lip-chin-throat angle and upper lip curl had the greatest effect on forehead prominence perceptions. The bilabial prominence, nasolabial angle (particularly the lower component), and mentolabial angle had the greatest effect on nasal prominence perceptions. The bilabial prominence, nasolabial angle, chin prominence, and submental length had the greatest effect on lip prominence perceptions. The bilabial prominence, nasolabial angle, mentolabial angle, and submental length had the greatest effect on chin prominence perceptions. Conclusions: More prominent lips, within normal limits, may be considered more attractive in the profile view. Profile parameters have a greater influence on their neighboring aesthetic units but indirectly influence related profile parameters, endorsing the importance of achieving an aesthetic balance between relative prominences of all aesthetic units of the facial profile.

  • As a new trend in the development of urban public spaces, the use of right-angle LED screens perfectly combines building facades with naked-eye 3D visual effects, providing designers with a brand-new creative platform. How to create a realistic naked-eye 3D effect on a right-angle LED screen and bring an immersive visual experience to the audience has become a question worth exploring. So far, production companies have yet to announce the relevant design ideas and complete production methods. In order to explore the production principle and production process of the naked-eye 3D effect of the right-angle LED screen, we summarize the basic production principle of the naked-eye 3D impact of the right-angle LED screen through case analysis. Based on understanding the production principle, the actual case production test was carried out, and a complete production process of the naked eye 3D visual effect of the right-angle led screen was tried to be provided by off-line rendering. For the problem of how to deal with image deformation, we provide two production methods: post-production software correction and UV mapping. Among them, the UV mapping method is more efficient and convenient. Referring to this paper can help designers quickly understand the production principle of the naked eye 3D effect of right-angle LED screens. The production process proposed in this paper can provide a reference for production method for related project producers.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the overflow effect and cross training effect of isometric quadriceps training that performed in specific angle of unilateral let. Ten healthy students with an average age of 24 years$(24.1\pm1.3)$, were participated in this study. Then 5 subjects in each group were chosen at random to train using only right quadriceps muscle two time per day(group 2), five times a week and the other 5 subjects(group 1) were chosen to train one times per day, five times a week for 2 weeks at only 50 degrees (contract 6 seconds, rest 10 seconds, 3 sets). Before and after the training, isometric quadriceps muscle testing of the both leg was Performed at three different angles, 60, 50 and 40 degrees respectively by BHN-COM (isokinetic dynamometer) in sitting position. The data was analyzed with paired t-test to determine significant difference between before and after training. In this study, we have found that the isometric quadriceps muscle training on specific angle of right side produced overflow effect In healthy subjects. However, increasing the peak torque of specific angle(training angle) of trained limb did not have an effect on increasing the peak torque of contralateral limb. These results demonstrate that the cross training effect did nut found in this study but a alight increase of peak torque of the untrained limb would recognized the possibility of cross training effect.

  • These studies show that I applied to functional insole (a specific A company) for minimizing shocks and sprain people's ankle arising from running. How to an effect on human body which studied a kinematics and kinetics from 10 college students during experiments. This study imposes several conditions by barefoot, normal running shoes and put functional insole shoes ran under average $2.0{\pm}0.24\;m$/sec by motion analysis and ground reaction force that used to specific A company. First of all, motion analysis was caused by achilles tendon angle, angle of the lower leg, angle of the knee, initial sole angle and barefoot angle. The result of comparative analysis can be summarized as below. Motion analysis showed that statically approximates other results from achilles tendon angle (p<.01), initial ankle angle(p<.05), initial sole angle(p<.001) and barefoot angle(p<.001). Ground reaction force also showed that statically approximates other results from impact peak timing (p<.001), Maximum loading rate(p<.001), Maximum loading rate timing (p<.001) and impulse of first 20 percent (p<.001). Above experiment values known that there was statically difference between Motion analysis and Ground reaction force under absorbing of the functional insole shoes which was not have an effect on our body for kinetics and kinematics.

  • Back rake angle of tool is one of the fundamental effects to the cutting ability. In this paper, for several back rake angle of lathe tool (-5$^{\circ}$ , 0$^{\circ}$ , 5$^{\circ}$ , 10$^{\circ}$ , 15$^{\circ}$ ), we experimentally examine cutting forces via orthogonal cutting. Using measured cutting forces, a formula for specific cutting resistance is derived according to the variation of tool angle. Also, the measured cutting forces are analyzed in both time and frequency domain. Cutting parameters are obtained by measuring the thickness of chip, and the effect of the back rake angle of tool is manifested. This study maintains the predicted cutting model with improved accuracy.

  • This study investigates the effect of an included angle and heat flux on heat transfer of V-shape tube array having a horizontal upper tube. The test uses two stainless steel tubes with a smooth surface submerged under the water at atmospheric pressure. The angle varies from 2° to 24°. The heat transfer coefficient gets decreasing in consequence as the angle increases. The enhancement due to the lower tube is distinct as the heat flux is lower than 60 kW/㎡, where the effect of the convective flow is dominant. The present study and the published results show a similar tendency. Although the heat transfer coefficient for the present study is smaller than the symmetry case, enhanced heat transfer is observed compared to the tube array having a lower horizontal tube as the included angle is less than 10°.
