This research compared and analyzed safety ratio of slope with Talren97 and SoilWorks based on limit equilibrium analysis and Midas GTS based on finite element analysis. For the analysis variables, there are slope height, berm condition, soil parameter, groundwater level, slope inclination. All of slope stability analysis were performed by dividing into dry season and rainy season. As the result of the analysis of Talren97 and SoilWorks based on same theory, safety ratio of slope shows same value, so there was no difference between the programs. In comparison with limit equilibrium analysis, the result of finite element analysis showed somewhat high ratio of safety and it was higher by about 2.4% averagely. The difference between the result of limit equilibrium analysis and that of finite element analysis is in the range which can ignored in practical work.

The purpose of this study was to identify the constructive principle and techniques of Vionnet's works. According to analysis of Vionnets works, it was found that Vionnet conceived of the human body as a continuous shaping of a cylinder. Vionnet's drapery denied the planner presumption of woman and gave real three-dimension to form and to fashion. The techniques of Vionnet's works were as fallow : (1) She introduced the diogonal "bias cut" and changed dress design by her sensuous use of fabrics. (2) She eliminated interfacing to keep the silhouette and the fabric soft. (3) She manipulated the fabric to remove the excess for fit and decoration at the same time. (4) She treated the fabric with a synthesis of geometry and grace. (5) The sale luxury allowed was to note the choice of seams, facings, hems, and stitches. (6) Vionnet's dresses were not lined.

The purpose of this study was to establish the housing welfare delivery system in Incheon. Documentary research and content analysis methods and survey were used in this study. Data drawn from internet homepage of each community center, gu-office and city hall in Incheon.. The major results of this study are as follows. 1) Related works of housing welfare are housing welfare facility management, self helf center, support service of housing life, residential environment management 2) Housing welfare delivery system consists of city, gu-office, community center order. There are many problems that the lack of experts and department of housing welfare and inconsistent works. 3) There should be optimize the related works of housing welfare in order to increase of efficiency of works and to prevent overload to public servant. 4) Housing welfare delivery system needs to co-work through collaborative network in order to realize welfare society. And each main groups have to establish their horizontal relationships.

In this paper, embroidery works with a certain date are divided by a category, and they are reviewed in terms of original fabrics, embroidery patterns, the form of an artwork, embroidery techniques, and etc with the aim of the understanding of the Joseon period embroidery. In the second part, I examine the history of Korean embroidery from the Three Kingdoms period to the Joseon dynasty along with the written records and extant embroidery works. The third part, Joseon embroidery revealed by the analysis of the remaining embroidery works, divides Joseon embroidery by two kinds, bridal robe and rank badge as well as an embroidery screen. Through the examination of these extant works, I try to rediscover the historic significance of Joseon embroidery, and also hope to help people to gain an expert opinion on Joseon embroidery.

This study, a sub-one of comprehensive research works titled under “Rural Resources Evaluation System”, tried to verify utility/applicability of the developed model system through the case study works on 3 sample villages, Backya, Uyan and Suyu, representing the lowland, upland and seashore villages respectively. From the various surveying and collecting works including the official/statistical data collection, map analysis, insitu investigation, field survey and written material review, the original data set were obtained and manipulated into final input data for resources grading. After then, by the automatized calculation procedure of “Rural Resources Evaluation System”, score results for resources evaluation were finally produced with the total maximum score being 1,000. Through comparing works among score results of 3 case villages and between score results and areal characteristics of each case village, the applicability of the system developed in this study was well confirmed.

The present volume should address the unique method of deterioration analysis tailorly applicable to the study of traction motor, not existent maintenance works system with the time period standard, such as regular inspection works, maintenance works, selection for the repair works. The present volume has executed various field experiments in this method, should propose the procedures and baselines for anticipating the life expansion of traction motor and building precautional maintenance system for it, on the basis of these field experiments. The improvement scheme of traction motor maintenance system in the present volume should be to keep the out-of-order rate from unexpectedly soaring and make the cost-reduction effect through better maintenance work method.

This study aims to apply corpus-based approach to analyze The Yellow Wall-Paper and Herland written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, a women's rights activist in the late nineteenth-century America. Although both works have attracted feminists' attention to the woman question that concerned Gilman, discussion on her language features and their relation to the literary themes of these two works is still in need. In this corpus-based analysis, we argue that the main themes of different literary works can be revealed through linguistic patterns identified by number and gender features of nouns and pronouns in the contrast of two works and a balanced corpus. The linguistic features (number and gender) have been related with two themes, the 'group and individual' and the 'feminine and masculine', and are further interpreted in terms of mothering and feminine consciousness. By adopting linguistic approach, our study provides quantitative and qualitative evidence to verify the established themes and arguments of these literary texts.

The In Korea, where multicultural families are increasing, the need to reinforce multicultural competencies has been raised in education. Accordingly, this study selected 7 art textbooks of 2015 revised middle school and analyzed the proportion of the textbook's reference works and contents from the Macfee's perspective of multicultural education. As a result of the analysis, first, the proportion of multicultural reference works by region was high in Korean works(44%) and Western works (43%), whereas that of Eastern works(13%) was very low. In the experience area, 13.8% more Western works were included than Korean works, and Western works were also concentrated in USA and Europe. Second, as a result of analyzing the proportion of multicultural contents, 57.7% of the total units, or 90 units out of 156, contained multicultural contents. As a result, compared to the 2009 revised art textbooks, the 2015 revised middle school art textbooks have expanded the proportion of multiculturalism.

Arata Isozaki is one of the Japan's most important contemporary architects with an international reputation and has designed notable buildings in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Arata Isozaki is not an architect simply explained by a single ism or style, he has dedicated himself to express all diversities implied in different periods and styles. With an avant-garde spirit and enthusiastic creativity, he has devoted all his efforts to bring these diversities and complexities into his own architectural works. The study was aimed to identify the key characteristics implied in his overall design concept. Through the analysis of his works, the key features underlined in his works were characterized by five key words, which are tradition, eclectic, metaphor, metabolism and proportion. These five characteristics have been well Presented in his works individually and sometimes as a whole. His unique combination among these key design concepts has been impressed by many other architects in worldwide.
