  • This paper demonstrates the application of the preventive maintenance, process to analyse and develop preventive maintenance tasks for rectifier and electric transformer in the SeoulMetro company. Attention is given to the frequency designation, technical details regarding the radiometer, previous electromagnetic noise measurements, and applications of the noise data. This study confirms the feasibility and effectiveness of preventive maintenance applications in the electric trains.

  • One dimensional conduction equation is solved by finite difference method, to analyse the stability of Au/YBCO film deposited on a sapphire substrate. Jolue heat is included in the case of current sharing state. The analysis shows the quench and recovery of superconductor depending on the amount of thermal disturbance release on the center surface of superconductor. The critical disturbance energies for different filling factor and operating current are calculated.

  • In this paper, we describe the crossover of the parasitic capacitance at the interconnections for the system miniature, analyse ground capacitance and mutual capacitance due to actually coupled line in the ICs or MCMs. From the results of deviding interconnection line with infinite parts, using Green's function with image charge method and moments, we could obtain 70% decrease of system runtime parasitic inductance because of simplicity of transforming formular.

  • This paper describes that the effect on the other system is generated by the single line to ground fault of the underground transmission systems and distribution systems established the common ground in trefoil. Each system is modeled by EMTP/ATPDraw and the system carry out simulations according to the various values of common ground to analyse. In this study, the result of analysis based on simulation suggests protection method and ground system of each system.

  • This paper presents the effect of moisture and dust on streaming electrification in transformer oil, in order to investigate the electrification tendency of oil adding moisture and dost. Authors designed series electrification device to analyse streaming electrification phenomena easily. Experimental results show that adding of moisture and dust in oil decreased charging level and it was dominant in case of moisture.

  • This paper presents a theoretical research framework that was used to analyse operational risk management (ORM) system practices in Australia. It provides a new perspective on how to use national and international operational management system standards as a basis for systematic management of operational risks. Based on the extensive literature review and the analysis of operational risk management system practices that are common in Australian organisations, this paper identifies the critical factors for effective use of an ORM system. The proposed framework could also be used as a model to research ORM system applications in other countries.

  • A side-cut grinding generates a machining error by the decrease of the quill rigidity. In this paper, The effect on the grinding force, machining error and surface roughness due to the change of the quill rigidity is investigated experimentally. The slenderness ratio of the quill is a significant factor to analyse the change of the grinding force and machining error.

  • In this paper, the purpose is a study on structural analysis for offshore wind turbine using commercial code. Because offshore wind turbine is subjected to great wind and wave force, it is necessary to analyse the dynamics and minimize the response of wind turbine. The offshore wind turbine tower is modelled as a single degree of freedom and multi degree of freedom structure. It is assumed that the blades, nacelle are composed of concentrated masses.

  • This paper presents the effect of moisture and dust on streaming electrification in transformer oil, in order to investigate the electrification tendency of oil adding moisture an dust. Authors designed series electrification device to analyse streaming electrification phenomena easily. Experimental results show that the streaming current is linearly increased with oil velocity and it has a peak value at about a 50 [%]. Adding of moisture and dust in oil decreased charging level and it was dominant in case of moisture.
