농생태계 서식하는 지렁이 종 분포조사 (Occurrence of Earthworm in Agro-ecosystem)

  • 2006년 5월부터 10월까지 국내 농생태계 49지점에서 탐색 수집된 지렁이는 3과 5속 15종 1,846 개체이며 종 구성은 다음과 같다. Amynthas agrestis 20.9%, Amynthas koreanus 20.3%, Amynthas heteropodus 15.4%, Amynthas sp. 8.7%, Drawida japonica 8.0%, Eisenia fetida 7.2%, Amynthas hilgendorfi 7.0%, Bimastos parvus 3.2%, Amynthas hupeiensis 2.5%, Aporrectodea caliginosa 1.8%, Amynthas corticis 1.8%, Aporrectodea tuberculata 1.3%, Eisenia andrei 1.2%, Amynthas sp.20.4%, Amynthas sp. 1 0.3%이다. 종 조성 비율을 보면 이와 같이 왕지렁이속, A. agrestis, A. koreanus, A. heteropodus 3종이 차지하는 개체수는 1,046개체로 전체의 약 56.7%를 차지하는 우리나라 농생태계의 우점종 이다. 성숙 개체와 미성숙 개체의 비율은 1.25:1로 성숙된 개체가 더 많이 출현하였다. Amynthas sp. 1, Amynthas sp. 2는 본 조사를 통하여 처음으로 확인되는 신종 후보로, 여러 외부형질, 특히 malepore의 형태가 지금가지 국내에서 기록된 다른 왕지렁이속에 속하는 종들과는 확연히 구별되는 특징을 갖고 있다.

  • Four new species of the genus Amynthas are described from Korea: Amynthas mujuensis sp. nov., Amynthas assimilis sp. nov., Amynthas moakensis sp. nov., and Amynthas sangumburi sp. nov. The intestinal caeca are of simple type and genital markings lacking in all four species. Amynthas mujuensis sp. nov. has male field with large oval papillae, each papilla with longitudinal seminal groove; paired spermathecal pores present in 6/7, 7/8 dorsally. Amynthas assimilis sp. nov. has mare field composed of paired symmetrical pear-shaped pads with broad ends laterally, axes of symmetry diagonally oriented towards posterior; spermathecal pores in 5/6, 6/7. Amynthas moakensis sp. nov. has male pores on small porophores surrounded by swollen concentric furrows, with the spermathecal pores in 6/7, 7/8, 8/9, ventrally. Amynthas sangumburi sp. nov. has male pores centered on 0.8 mm circular flat porophores, with the spermathecal pores in 5/6, 6/7, 7/8, 8/9, laterally.

  • Three new species of Amynthas (Clitellata: Megascolecidae) were discovered in the Nam Ha National Protected Area (NPA) of Laos. These are Amynthas namhaensis sp. nov., Amynthas vanhi sp. nov., and Amynthas angtanensis sp. nov. Amynthas namhaensis sp. nov. and Amynthas vanhi sp. nov. are athecal, with male pores 0.14-0.17 and 0.17-0.19 circumference apart ventrally, respectively. Amynthas angtanensis sp. nov. has four pairs of spermathecal pores on 4/5-7/8, with male pores very closely set at 0.07-0.1 circumference apart. Descriptions of the new species are provided, including illustrations of the ventral view, intestinal caeca, and spermathecae.

선유도 농생태계 지렁이상 (The Earthworm Composition in Agroecosystem of Sunyu Island, Korea)

  • 2007년 8월과 10월 동안 서해안 선유도의 농생태계 작물재배지역 15지점에서 조사 채집된 지렁이는 3과 4속 12종 1,025개체이며 종 구성은 다음과 같다. Amynthas heteropodus 29.7%, Aporrectodea tuberculata 22.6%, Aporrectodea caliginosa 19.5%, Drawida japonica 11.3%, Amynthas agrestis 5.0%, Amynthas hupeiensis 3.6%, Aporrectodea sp. 3.5%, Amynthas corticis 2.0%, Bimastos parvus 1.6%, Amynthas koreanus 0.8%, Amynthas hilgendorfi 0.2%, Amynthas sp. 0.2%이다. 종 조성 비율을 보면 A. heteropodus와 A. tuberculata 2종이 차지하는 개체수는 537개체로 전체의 52.4%를 차지하여 선유도 농생태계 작물재배지의 우점종이다. 미성숙개체와 성숙개체의 비율은 1.1:1로 미성숙개체가 조금 더 많이 채집되었다.

  • 농생태계 오이 시설재배지에서 서식하고 있는 지렁이상을 확인하기 위하여 강원도 정선 재배농가에서 조사하였다. 채집하여 동정된 지렁이는 총 4속 7종으로 다음과 같다. Aporrectodea trapezoides (Duges 1828), Aporrectodea tuberculata (Eisen 1874), Bimastos parvus (Eisen 1874), Amynthas koreanus (Kobayashi 1938), Amynthas corticis (Kinberg 1867), Amynthas hupeiensis (Michaelsen 1895), Drawida japonica (Michaelsen 1892). 채집된 종 중 고유종은 참지렁이 (Amynthas koreanus Kobayashi 1938)가 유일하다. 채집된 종들에 대해서 분류학적 특징에 관하여 기술하고, 자연 상태에서 확인한 외부형태 사진을 포함하였다.

뽕나무 경작지의 남방계지렁이 분포 (Distribution of Southern Earthworm Race in Mulberry Tree Cultivation Area)

  • 농생태계의 뽕나무 경작지에서 서식하고 있는 지렁이상을 확인하기 위하여, 2013년 4월부터 2014년 3월까지 조사를 하였다. 분류된 남방계지렁이는 총 5속 9종으로 다음과 같다. Aporrectodea caliginosa (Savigny, 1826), Bimastos parvus (Eisen, 1874), Eisenia fetida (Savigny, 1826), Drawida japonica (Michaelsen, 1892), Amynthas heteropodus (Goto & Hatai, 1898), Amynthas agrestis (Goto & Hatai, 1899), Amynthas corticis (Kinberg, 1867), Amynthas hilgendorfi (Michaelsen, 1895), Amynthas sp. 등이다. 장미줄지렁이 (Ap. caliginosa) 개체군 밀도 소장은 10월에 정점을 보이고 다음해 2월까지 감소하고, 성체와 미성체는 동시에 출현하며, 그들의 조성 비율은 성체 11.4%, 준성체 12.6 11%, 미성체 76% 이었다.

  • Amynthas hupeiensis with 6/7/8/9 intersegmental spermathecal pores keys to the sieboldi-group in Sims and Easton (1972). Two pairs of round genital papillae are always between segments 17/18 and 18/19, and male pore regions are positioned in between the genital papillae. Korean Amynthas hupeiensis is usually collected from various agroecosystems. Description of the Amynthas hupeiensis is provided, including illustrations of ventral view and spermathecae, DNA barcoding data, and photo.

울릉도 지렁이상 및 왕지렁이속의 1신종 (The Earthworm Fauna from Ulleungdo Island, Korea with One New Species of the Genus Amynthas (Oligochaeta: Megascolecidae))

  • 2004년 9월 2일부터 4일까지 울릉도의 5개 지점을 조사한 결과 7종 256개체를 채집하였다. 그 결과 왕지렁이속의 1신종을 확인하여 보고한다. 울릉도왕지렁이 (Amynthas dageletensis sp. nov.)는 저장낭구멍. 저장낭, 전립선, 숫생식구멍 등이 없는 점이 왕지렁이속의 다른 종과는 확연히 구별된다. 본 신종은 복부와 숫생식구멍의 그림을 삽입하여 기재하였다.

  • Amynthas tralfamadore sp. nov. is described from the Mt Halla, Jeju Island biosphere exhibition housed at NIBR Incheon. This species' taxonomy is problematical since it is similar to Amynthas masatakae (Beddard, 1892) from Japan, itself previously reported from Korea and at one time associated with Amynthas campestris (Goto & Hatai, 1898) and A. parvicystis (Goto & Hatai, 1899), all three variously implicated in prior A. robustus (Perrier, 1872) along with Amynthas aspergillum (Perrier, 1872). Based on reinspection of the London lectotype of A. masatakae-here designated and sketched for the first time-the current solution is for maintenance of all five taxa separately. A closely-related Japanese species-Metaphire ryunome sp. nov.-is comparable to Korean Metaphire reisuiensis (Kobayashi, 1938) comb. nov. Another specimen was identified as Amynthas micronarius (Goto & Hatai, 1898), a new record for Korea. It matches the newly-designated neotype (Tokyo NMST An446) and an annotated synonymy is provided; however, erstwhile synonyms, Amynthas shimaensis (Goto & Hatai, 1899) and A. yamizoyamensis (Ohfuchi, 1935) combs. novae, are briefly redescribed and provisionally restored to the Japanese list. mtDNA COI-5P barcode analyses support species identifications.

Account of montane and insular speciation in some Korean megadriles (Annelida: Oligochaeta)

  • Surveys of easily accessible or moderately remote South Korean mountains has revealed several common exotic and early species-complexes [Amynthas corticis (Kinberg, 1867) with A. diffringens (Baird, 1869), A. gracilis (Kinberg, 1867) and Metaphire californica (Kinberg, 1867)], plus an unexpected number of new native taxa. Megascolecid Metaphire muuido sp. nov. and lumbricid Eisenia muuido sp. nov. are newly described from Muuido Island, Incheon. Montane taxa are parthenogenetic Amynthas tokioensis oculo sub-sp. nov. that lacks male pores but is yet comparable to both Amynthas tokioensis (Beddard, 1892) and Metaphire soulensis (Kobayashi, 1938) with its possible new synonym A. chiakensis Hong & James, 2013. Apparently unique sympatric taxa are Amynthas bangtaesan bangtaesan and A. b. confinius sup-spp. nov., Amynthas centurio sp. nov., Amynthas punicans sp. nov., Amynthas seoraksan and A. seoraksan iti sub-spp. nov. These are newly described and their DNA COI gene barcodes, where obtainable, are presented in a phylogram with outgroup Acanthodrilidae Microscolex dubius (Fletcher, 1887) from Lake Biwa Japan being a new exotic record for Asia.
