反復荷重을 받는 흙의 構成關係式 開發 (Development of Constitutive Equation for Soils Under Cyclic Loading Conditions)

  • Various soil behaviors usually occurring in the geotechnical problems, such as, cutting and embankments, stability of slope, seepage, consolidations, shearing failures and liquefaction, should be predicted and analyzed in any way. An approach of these predictions may be followed by the development of the constitutive equations as first and subsequently solved by numerical methods. The purpose of this paper is develop the constitutive equation of sands uder monotonic or cyclic loadings. The constitutive equation which is based on elasto-plastic theory, modified anisotropic consolidated stress parameter by Sekiguchi et al and Pender's theory is derived. And the equation is included a new stress parameter, hardening function, Bauschinger's effects and Pender's theory. The model is later evaluated and confirmed the validity by the test data of Ottawa sand, Banwol sand Hongseong sand. The following conclustions may be drawn: 1. The consititutive equation which is based on elasto-plastic theory, modified anisotropic consolidated stress parpameter by Sekiguchi et al and Pender's theory is derived. The equation in included a new stress parameter, hardening function, Bauschinger's effect and Pender's theory. 2. For Ottawa sand, the result of the constitutive equation shows a better agreement than that of Oka et al. The result of axial strain agrees well with the tested data. However, the result of horizontal strain is little bit off for the cyclic loadings or large stress. It is thought that the deviation may be improved by considering Poisson's ratio and precise measurement of shear modulus. 3. Banwol sand is used for the strain and stress tests with different relative densitites and confining pressures. The predeicted result shows a good agreement with the tested data because the required material parameters were directly measurd and determined form this laboratory. 4. For Hongseong sand, the tests under same amplitude of cyclic deviatoric stress shows a similar result with the tested data in absolute strain. It shows the acute shape of turning point because the sine wave of input is used in the test but the serrated wave in prediction.

  • 길이 250cm, 간격 10cm의 25개의 수동계 직선배열 hydrophone을 0, $\pm1$의 거형파 weighting을 부가하여 신호와 weighting과의 convolution을 구하고 이것을 동기가산하는 방법으로 얻는 방향검출과 spectrum분석은 그 실현방법을 증대시키고 정현파 weighting을 부가하는 것보다 3dB정 도 낮으나 지향성을 준 방향보다 타방향의 spectrum성분의 Power level을 적어도 16dB 정도 이상 억제할 수가 있었다. 또 신호까지 0, $\pm1$의 거형파로 바꾸는 경우는 전술한 성분을 적어도 8 dB 이상 억제할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 음성 및 데이터 트래픽에 대한 비트오율 성능이 CDMA 방식의 IMT-2000 시스댐에서 역방향 링크의 시뮬레이션 결과에 의해서 평가되었다. 역방향링크에서 시률래이션은 ITU-R에서 제시한 욕내, 도보, 그리고 차량 환경에 대하여 수행되었다. 또한 시뮬레이션에서 BER 성능을 향상시키기 위한 기술로 1.6념-Iz 전력 제어, 5-tap FIR 필터를 이용한 페이딩신호의 진폭과 위상 추정, 그리고 연판정 Viterbi 및 Reed-Solomon 복호 등이 적용되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과로는 최적의 파일롯전력 대비 트래픽전력의 비, 핑거수에 따른 BER 성능, 그리고 $10^{-6}$ BER에서 길쌍부호와 Concatenated 부호와의 성능비교를 제시하고 있다.

UHF 대역 RFID 리더 반송파 누설 억압 연구 (A Novel Carrier Leakage Suppression Scheme for UHF RFID Reader)

  • RFID 기술은 각 사물에 전자 태그를 부착하고, 사물의 고유 ID를 무선으로 인식하여 해당 정보를 수집, 저장, 가공, 추적하는 기술로 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 UHF 대역 RFID 리더 수신기에서 반송파 누설 신호를 억압하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 반송파 누설 전력 억압용-RF 전단부 구조를 갖는 리더는 리미터를 포함하는 비선형 경로를 통해 송신 반송파 누설 복제 신호를 생성한다. 리미팅 기능은 반송파 누설 신호의 주파수와 위상 정보는 유지하면서 태그의 진폭 변조 성분을 제거한다. 위상 천이기를 포함하는 선형 구간에 송신 반송파 누설 복제 신호를 주입함으로써 태그의 역산란 신호 손실 없이 리더 반송파 누설 신호를 효과적으로 억압할 수 있다. 제작된 반송파 누설 전력 억압 회로는 910 MHz 중심 주파수에서 반송파 누설 신호 대비 태그 신호 비가 36 dB 억압 효과를 달성하였음을 측정 결과를 통해 확인하였으며, 이는 시뮬레이션 결과와 일치한다.

체간 조절을 통한 앉기 자세 교정이 경직형 뇌성마비 아동들의 호흡근과 음향학적 측정치들의 변화에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Changing the Respiratory Muscles and Acoustic Parameters on the Children With Spastic Cerebral Palsy)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects postural changes on respiratory muscles and acoustic parameters of the children with spastic cerebral palsy. Nine children with spastic cerebral palsy who required assistance when walking were selected. The ages of the children ranged from 6 to 9 years old. The phonation of the sustained vowel /a/ and the voice qualities of each child such as fundamental frequency($F_0$; Hz), pitch variation (Jitter; %), amplitude variation (Shimmer; %) and noise to harmonic ratio (NHR) were analyzed by Multi-Dimensional Voice Program (MDVP). The muscle activity of three major respiratory muscles: pectoralis major muscle, upper trapezius muscle and rectus abdorminalis muscle, were measured by examining the root mean square (RMS) of the surface EMG to investigate the impact of changes in the adjusted sitting posture of each subject. However, the RMS of pectoralis major muscle showed a significant differences (p<.05). Secondly, there were no significant differences in $F_0$, Jitter and Shimmer between pre and post posture change, but there was a significant difference in NHR (p<.05). The data were collected in each individual; once prior and once after the sitting posture change. The data were analyzed by Wilcoxon signed ranks-test using SPSS version 14.0 for Windows. The findings of this study were as follows; Firstly, the RMS of upper trapezius and rectus abdorminalis muscle were not significant different between pre and post sitting posture changes. From the result, it is concluded that changes in the adjusted sitting posture decreases the abnormal respiratory patterns in the children with spastic cerebral palsy which is characterized by the hyperactivity of the respiratory muscles in breathing. Also, there is increased on the voice qualities in children with spastic cerebral palsy.

비선형 인덱싱 함수 Tanh로 구현한 디지털 전치 왜곡을 이용한 RF 전력증폭기의 선형성 향상 (Linearity Enhancement of RF Power Amplifier Using Digital Predistortion with Tanh as a Nonlinear Indexing Function)

  • 본 논문에서는 900 MHz 대역에서 동작하는 RF 전력증폭기의 선형성 향상을 위한 디지털 전치 왜곡을 구현하였다. 비선형 인덱싱 함수로 tanh를 사용하여 디지털 전치 왜곡을 구현하여, 신호 진폭에 비례하는 인덱싱 함수로 구현하기 이전의 디지털 전치 왜곡과 비교하여 선형성 향상을 검증하였다. 디지털 전치 왜곡은 Look-up Table(LUT) 방식으로 구현하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 위하여 전력증폭기의 모델링은 Saleh 모델을 적용하였고, 실제 측정을 위하여 상용 증폭기를 사용하였다. LUT의 크기는 256개의 Table로 구현하였으며, 추정을 위한 적응형 알고리즘으로는 NLMS(Normalized Least Mean Square) 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 제안한 방법을 사용하여 인접 채널 누설비(ACLR)를 15 dB까지 개선시킬 수 있었다.

Critical earthquake input energy to connected building structures using impulse input

  • A frequency-domain method is developed for evaluating the earthquake input energy to two building structures connected by viscous dampers. It is shown that the earthquake input energies to respective building structures and viscous connecting dampers can be defined as works done by the boundary forces between the subsystems on their corresponding displacements. It is demonstrated that the proposed energy transfer function is very useful for clear understanding of dependence of energy consumption ratios in respective buildings and connecting viscous dampers on their properties. It can be shown that the area of the energy transfer function for the total system is constant regardless of natural period and damping ratio because the constant Fourier amplitude of the input acceleration, relating directly the area of the energy transfer function to the input energy, indicates the Dirac delta function and only an initial velocity (kinetic energy) is given in this case. Owing to the constant area property of the energy transfer functions, the total input energy to the overall system including both buildings and connecting viscous dampers is approximately constant regardless of the quantity of connecting viscous dampers. This property leads to an advantageous feature that, if the energy consumption in the connecting viscous dampers increases, the input energies to the buildings can be reduced drastically. For the worst case analysis, critical excitation problems with respect to the impulse interval for double impulse (simplification of pulse-type impulsive ground motion) and multiple impulses (simplification of long-duration ground motion) are considered and their solutions are provided.

고주파 영역 자속 스펙트럼 감시에 의한 전동기 고정자 고장예측 (Prediction of Failure for a Motor Stator by Monitoring Magnetic Flux Spectrum in High Frequency Region)

  • 현재 운영 중인 발전소 전동기의 고정자 권선 고장 실제사례를 토대로 전동기에서 발생하는 자속 데이터의 고주파 영역 스펙트럼을 분석함으로써 결함이 있는 전동기와 건전한 전동기의 자속 특성 및 변화추이를 분석하였다. 전동기 자속스펙트럼의 고주파 영역을 분석한 결과 결함이 있는 전동기는 고정자 슬롯 주파수 대비 고정자 슬롯 사이드밴드 주파수의 상대적 크기 비율이 건전한 전동기에 비해 매우 높음을 확인하였다. 또한 결함이 있는 전동기는 시간이 지날수록 고정자 슬롯 주파수 대비 고정자 슬롯 사이드밴드 주파수의 상대적 크기 비율 크기도 더욱 커지는 현상도 확인하였다. 그리고 결함이 있는 전동기의 자속 데이터는 불시 고장 1개월여 전부터 결함 상태를 인식할 수 있는 신호를 나타냄으로써 전동기 고정자 권선 결함에 대한 사전 예측능력이 매우 탁월함을 확인하였다.

터보차저 공급 오일 압력과 온도가 풀-플로팅 베어링의 동적 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Oil Inlet Pressure and Temperature on the Dynamic Behaviors of a Full-Floating Ring Bearing Supported Turbocharger Rotor)

  • In this paper, the effect of oil conditions in rotor dynamic behaviors of a FFRB (Fully-Floating Ring Bearing) is investigated. Through the characteristic of a FFRB has two films, it has several advantages such as less friction loss and better stability over a wide speed range. However, it is difficult to supply a oil to the inner film. Thus, turbocharger makers have been paid significant attention to the lubrication of a FFRB because of its importance. This work focuses on the influence of oil inlet pressure and temperature. The methodologies of computational simulation and experimental test were used to estimate the rotor dynamic behaviors. In experimental test, the single-scroll turbocharger for the 1.4L diesel engine was used. The results show that the oil inlet pressure and temperature will place considerable influence on the rotor response. Oil conditions affect RSR (Ring Speed Ratio) which is cause of sub-synchronous vibrations, which also cause of oil whirling and whip even a critical speed. At higher speed range, the phenomenon of self-excited vibrations which is cause of instability of fluid whirl is investigated through the orbit shapes that consist of small orbit and large amplitude orbit. It is shown that some performance of a FFRB can be controlled by the conditions of oil supply. Finally, it was revealed that the oil induced operating conditions will strongly affect the turbocharger rotor dynamics behaviors.

The first photometric analysis of the close binary system NSVS 1461538

  • The follow-up BVRI photometric observations of NSVS 1461538, which was discovered as an $Algol/{\beta}$ Lyr eclipsing variable by Hoffman, Harrison & McNamara (2009), were performed for three years from 2011 to 2013 by using the 61-cm telescope and CCD cameras of Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory (SOAO). New light curves have deep depths both of the primary and secondary eclipses, rounded shapes outside eclipses and a strong O'Connell effect, indicating that NSVS 1461538 is a typical W UMa close binary system rather than an $Algol/{\beta}$ Lyr type binary star. A period study with all the timings shows that the orbital period may vary in a sinusoidal way with a period of about 5.6 yr and a small semi-amplitude of about 0.008 d. The cyclical period variation was interpreted as a light-time effect due to a tertiary body with a minimum mass of $0.66M{\odot}$. The first photometric solution with the Wilson-Devinney binary model shows that the system is a W-subtype contact binary with the mass ratio ($q=m_c/m_h$) of 3.46, orbit inclination of 85.6 deg and fill-out factor of 30%. From the existing empirical relationship between parameters, the absolute dimension was estimated. The masses and radii of the component stars are $0.28M{\odot}$ and $0.71R{\odot}$ for the less massive but hotter primary star, respectively, and $0.96M{\odot}$ and $1.21R{\odot}$ for the more massive secondary, respectively. Possible evolution of the system is discussed in the mass-radius and the mass-luminosity planes.
