In this study, H&E staining is necessary to distinguish cells. However, dyeing directly requires a lot of money and time. The purpose is to convert the phase image of unstained cells to the amplitude image of stained cells. Image data taken with FPM was created with Phase image and Amplitude image using Matlab's parameters. Through normalization, a visually identifiable image was obtained. Through normalization, a visually distinguishable image was obtained. Using the GAN algorithm, a Fake Amplitude image similar to the Real Amplitude image was created based on the Phase image, and cells were distinguished by objectification using MASK R-CNN with the Fake Amplitude image As a result of the study, D loss max is 3.3e-1, min is 6.8e-2, G loss max is 6.9e-2, min is 2.9e-2, A loss max is 5.8e-1, min is 1.2e-1, Mask R-CNN max is 1.9e0, and min is 3.2e-1.
In this study, we have constructed the acoustic microscope using quadrature technique and analyzed the relative variation of image intensity and the quality of image by reconstructing the amplitude and phase image for surface defects with tiny hight variation. In this experiment, we have constructed the scanning acoustic microscope using the focused transducer with 3㎒ center frequency and the quadrature detector. And we have fabricated aluminum samples with round defects whose depth is different and reconstructed the amplitude and phase images for the samples. One sample has round defects with 2㎜ diameter and 100㎛ depth and the other has round defects with 4㎜ diameter and 5㎜ depth. In the result of line scanning for the sample with 100㎛ round defects, it has been shown that the variation rate of amplitude image intensity is 7% and the variation rate of phase image intensity is 89%. The phase image has better contrast than amplitude image for the sample. In contrast to this, the amplitude image has better contrast than phase image for the sample with 5㎜ depth's defects. Accordingly there is big difference between amplitude image and phase image for depth variation of defects whose boundary is 1 wavelength. Consequently the acoustic microscope using quadrature detector can be evaluated efficiently more than using envelope detector, for detecting defects which have height variation less than 1 wavelength. And also the phase image and the amplitude image can be used for detecting defects of tiny height variation with complimentary relation.
Most of the acoustic microscopes have been constructed acoustic image by simply measuring the amplitude of the reflected signal from the specimen. This method fails to produce images of good quality because the change in amplitude is not sensitive enough to specimen with fine variation. In this paper, we have been constructed the acoustic microscope system which has been able to measure simultaneously the amplitude and phase of the reflected ultrasonic signal. And also we have been constructed the amplitude and phase images for the 500 won coin as a sample and the alumium spacimen with internal round defect, and compared and analyzed these images. In expermental result, the phase image have shown better sensitive than the amplitude image and given better contrast for the micro height variation of specimen. It will be expected that the phase image can be used as an additional bit of information to improve ambiguituities in amplitude image on nondestructive testing for specimen with fine variation.
To investigate the image-forming property of optical system having Gaussian amplitude for polychromatic source, we calculated the chromaticity variation and the illuminance distribution. Considered polychromatic sources in this paper are A light which is on incandescent-tungsten lamp, C light which is a daylight, and $D_{65}$ light which is a extend daylight to the near ultraviolet. The polychromatic sources represent the different chromaticity values at a geometrical image point. The chromaticity variation of optical system having a Gaussian amplitude is smaller than that having an uniform amplitude. The illuminance distributions for polychromatic sources present nearly the same values, and the depth of focus for optical system having a Gaussian amplitude is wider than that having an uniform amplitude. From these results, we know that the depth of focus increases and the chromaticity variation decreases, when the incident light amplitude is modulated from an uniform amplitude to a Gaussian amplitude.
The intensity of beam of light entering near the pupil edge is less than when it passes through the center of the pupil, this phenomenon is known as the Stiles-Crawford effect. In this paper, we investigate the variation in the shape of confusion circle when the real amplitude distribution of incident beam in pupil area is shifted to any direction by effects. The shape of confusion circle on the image surface is rotational symmetric when the real amplitude distribution of incident beam in pupil area isn't shifted, and the shape of confusion circle on the image surface is asymmetric as ellipse when the real amplitude distribution of incident beam in pupil area is shifted. The shifted direction of the real amplitude distribution of incident beam in pupil area equals the major axis direction of confusion circle on the image surface. When the shifted direction of the real amplitude distribution of incident beam in pupil area changes from ${\Delta}{\phi}$ to ${\Delta}{\phi}+{\pi}$, the intensity distributions and the shapes of confusion circle on the image surface for ${\Delta}{\phi}$ equals that for ${\Delta}{\phi}+{\pi}$. We know from above results that the influences of ${\Delta}{\phi}+{\pi}$ and ${\Delta}{\phi}+{\pi}$ cases on the image quality of optical system equal.
This paper proposes a 2-D texture segmentation algorithm which is in close analogy to amplitude demodulation in communication systems. First, we show that it is theoretically possible to segment a multitexture image using an ideal filter followed by an amplitude demodulation block. However, in practice, the Gabor filter is used instead of the ideal filter because it has many desirable properties and especially it gives optimum space-bandwidth product. Our algorithm recovers all the texture regions containing the sinusoid with frequency to which the Gabor filter is tuned. We have demonstrated the discriminating power of our method in using a synthetic multitexture image. It is clear mathematically and easy to implement. Our method can be a good alternative to avoid many problems encountered in classifying the feature vectors in feature-based texture segmentation approaches.

This paper is concerned with the measurement of low-frequency vibrations of structures using the image processing method. To measure the vibrations visually, the measurement system consists of a camera, an image grabber board, and a computer. The specific target installed on the structure is used to calculate the vibration of structure. The captured image is then converted into a pixel-based data and then analyzed numerically. The limitation of the system depends on the image capturing speed and the size of image. In this paper, we propose the methodology for the vibration measurement using the image processing method. The method enables us to measure the displacement directly without any contact. The current resolution of the vibration measurement is limited to sub centimeter scale. However, the frequency bandwidth and resolution can be enhanced by a high-speed and high-resolution image processing system.

Televiewer is a logging tool capable of scanning the borehole wall. The tool uses a rotating acoustic beam generator that acts as both a transmitter and receiver. The beams are sent toward the wall. The amplitude of a returning signal from the wall has nearly a linear relationship with the reflection coefficient R of the borehole wall, when the wall is smooth. As R depends only on rock impedance for fixed water impedance, the amplitude is directly associated with mass density and seismic velocity of rock. Meanwhile, the amplitude can be further reduced by wall roughness that may be caused by drilling procedures, differences in rock hardness, because the rough surface can easily scatter the acoustic energy and sometimes the hole becomes elongated in all directions according to the degree of weathering. In this sense, the amplitude is related to the hardness of rocks. For convenience of analysis, the measured amplitude image(2-D data(azimuth ${\times}$ depth)) is converted, with an appropriate algorithm, to the 1-D data(depth), where the amplitude image values along a predetermined fracture signature(sinusoid) are summed up and averaged. The resulting values are subsequently scaled simply by a scalar factor that is possibly consistent with a known strength. This scaled Televiewer reflectivity is named, as a matter of convenience,“Televiewer rock strength”. This paper shows, based on abundant representative case studies from about 8 years of Televiewer surveys, that Televiewer rock strength might be regarded, on a continuous basis with depth, as a quitely robust indicator of rock classification and in most cases as an approximate uniaxial strength that is comparable to the rebound value from Schmidt hammer test.

A computer-generated hologram(CGH) is made for three-dimensional image reconstruction of a virtual object which is a difficult to irradiate the laser light directly. One of the adverse effect factors is quantization of wave front computed by program when a computer-generated hologram is made. Amplitude element is not considered in Kinoform, it needs processing to reduce noise or false image. So several investigation was reported that the improvement of reconstructed image of Kinoform. Means to calculate the most suitable complex amplitude distribution are iterative algorithm, simulated annealing algorithm and genetic Algorithm. Error diffusion method reconstructed to separate the object as for the noise that originated in the quantization error. So it is efficient method to obtain high quality image with not many processing.

In this paper, we examine the fundamental performance of image coding schemes based on multipulse model. First, we introduce several kinds of pulse search methods (i.e., correlation method, pulse overlap search method and pulse amplitude optimization method) for the model. These pulse search methods are derived from auto-correlation function of impulse responses and cross-correlation function between host signals and impulse responses. Next, we explain the basic procedure of multipulse image coding scheme, which uses the above pulse search methods in order to encode the high frequency component of an original image. Finally, by means of computer simulation for some test images, we examine the PSNR(Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and computational complexity of these methods.
