This research examined two decades of the U.S. used clothing exports to the world. All countries (209) were classified into four groups based on the level of economic development. Between 1996 and 2012, U.S. used clothing exports shifted away from low-income economies to high-income economies. For the first time, our research demonstrated that the majority of used clothing discarded by American consumers is exported to high-income economies instead of poorest nations of the world. Next, used clothing exports and imports by volume and value in seven high-income countries were analyzed. The high-income countries not only exported but also imported significant amount of used clothing, which indicates a growing demand for worn apparel in developed nations. The demand might be at least partially attributed to the popular vintage clothing trend and increasing consumer environmentalism. Implications regarding development and implementation of a new classification system of worn clothing and recommendations for future research are presented.

RCM developed by American air industry in early 1960, its process is most realistic for some physical assets and it permits the system to maintain given function status through decision of demand about optimum maintenance. Therefore, many industries have selected RCM technique and have carried out RCM in order to solve many problems concerning maintenance management as improvement of reliability and availability of facilities, removal of hazard element about break down and retrenchment of maintenance cost. Through the execution of RCM, we can solve actual problems. And finally we will be able to develop more and more maintenance activities with RCM notion. In this study, we will consider the application of KTX-RCM which is set up with basic theory of RCM and constructed to improve vehicle safety, availability and regularity of KTX, linking with CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System).

As with any crop. There are many things that need to be done to achieve success. IT must be emphasized that this is one crop that demands 100percent or more. This is a high input crop, a long tern crop, a labor intensive crop and a high return crop. However, to get the returns you cannot take shortcuts or go half way. It is essential that you do your homework before you commence this venture. This factsheet is designed to cover the basic steps involved in growing ginseng and some of the details. It does not contain all the bits and pieces of information needed. Many of these are practical, many are solved 'on the farm' and many necessary items can be purchased at the local hardware store. We suggest you do not venture into this crop until you have done your homework. At this time. we do not pretend to have all the answers and this publication serves only as a guideline. We wish you sell in this new agricultural industry in B.C.

본 연구에서는 시판 중인 디바이스를 활용하여 외관에서는 기성복의 스타일을 유지하면서 기능성을 부여한 노년 여성을 위한 스마트 재킷을 개발하였다. 노년기에 접어들면서 시력은 약화되며 효과적인 체온조절도 저하된다. 이에 열과 빛의 기능을 제공하는 연구재킷을 제작하고 노년층 소비자들의 평가를 실시하여 그 수용가능성을 확인하고자 하였다. 재킷에 대한 만족도 평가는 전문가 외관 평가 및 소비자 착용 평가로 실시되었으며 재킷의 피트성, 활동성, 디바이스의 기능성, 수용 가능성 여부 등을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 전반적으로 높은 만족도를 보였으며 노년층에서도 충분히 미적요소와 기능성이 결합된 스마트 의류가 일상복으로 받아들여질 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 여전히 스마트 의류의 문제점 중의 하나인 디바이스의 무게를 경량화 할 수 있는 방법이 모색되어야 할 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과가 노년층을 위한 스마트 의복의 가능성과 만족도 향상을 위한 방안을 제시하는 기초 자료가 되기를 바란다.

The successful knowledge and information based companies facilitate to restructure the industry and strengthen the national competitiveness in the future. The advent of information age provides us new challenge because the information breakthrough can play a pivotal role in terms of knowledge transfer in the human resource management. This research focuses on best practices of human management and contrasting the human resource strategy of Japanese and American firms respectively, Based on this, we suggest the strategic alternatives of the described HR problems as well as the way of effective human resource management for Korean venture firms. We have reviewed the previous international and domestic literatures in details to understand HR liabilities of newness of venture firms in terms of the population ecology. The objective of this research is to solve the HR problems that Korean firms faced with.

The professional alliance between disciplines of architecture and furniture design in the interwar years as displayed in the prominent architectural exhibitions of the era is interesting in the context of professionalization of American architecture. The way furniture design gradually became part of the architectural shows not only reflected but provided the practical field in which the architectural institution sought, under the new social order since the mid 1910s, a new professional cast-departing from the former milieu in the realm of high-art by the Beaux-Arts Movement. Exhibitions held by the Architectural League of New York in the 1920s revealed that the early impetus for reformation toward efficiency had been subsumed by the system of Beaux-Arts. By contrast, "The Architect and the Industrial Arts" show of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, in which the most prominent architects of the era exercised their professional expertise in the design of "Moderne Style" interior furnishings, clearly shows how architects, in the milieu of expanding commercial market, sought to align their profession as industrial designers.

Fitness-for-Service is a useful technology to determine replacement timing, next inspection timing or in-service when nuclear power plant's buried pipes are damaged. If is possible for buried pipes to be aged by material loss, cracks and occlusion as operating time goes by. Therefore Fitness-for-Service technology for buried pipe is useful for plant industry to perform replacement and repair. Fitness-for-Service for buried pipe is studied in terms of existing code and standard for Fitness-for-Service and a current developing code case. Fitness-for-Service for buried pipe was performed according to Code Case N-806 developed by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

The current study investigates e-CRM, Shopping-mall Image, Perceived Value, Immersion, Satisfaction, Purchase Intention in the Fashion e-Commerce. The e-CRM(Customer Relationship Management) was applied to see the effect on the relation quality toward the fashion shopping-mall via relation performance. To fulfill the study objectives, a total of 521 questionnaires(Korean 278 vs, American 243) were conducted to the customers with first-hand experience with fashion merchandise in Internet shopping-mall. The judgement sampling method was employed on sample population ages from 20s to 40s over two month period. The result showed that purchase intention of an individual differs by consumer type and different factors affect purchase intention of the fashion merchandise for each consumer type.
