By using GOSST theory, this paper models SSCFLP taking FLP, capacity of the facilities, single source capacitated limitation level and service enhancement issues into consideration. GOSST theory is strongly suggested as the solution procedure for these issues. We have used clustering of Center of Gravity method using the case study of the company S and then, took a heuristic GOSST measure in the alternative selection process. As a result, the research finds an alternative solution that both meets the satisfactory level of service and achieves consistent distribution capacity. When using this modeling, especially, to select the location of the logistics distribution center, the efficiency of current facilities is maximized while offering the minimum geometric distance for the alternative. Also, we can expect that the illustrated model and alternative solution can be applied to architecture of distribution system, to selection of telecommunication system locations for wireless network and to relocation of related facilities due to their sensitivities to location and weight.

This study investigated the awareness and consumption behavior of 118 vegetarians and omnivores toward plant-based dairy alternatives. The preference and choice attribute questionnaires were compared. Significant differences were obtained between the two groups when considering the purchase experience, preference, and selection attributes of plant-based dairy alternatives. Vegetarians had more experience purchasing plant-based dairy alternative products. In both groups, environmental and animal protection were the major factors that influenced the highest response rate for purchasing plant-based dairy alternatives. The preference score of vegetarians for plant-based dairy alternative products was high, indicating that vegetarianism had a significant effect on their preference for plant-based dairy alternative products. Analysis of selection attributes revealed that price, product weight, appearance, and manufacturer were considered important by vegetarians, whereas nutritional components and labeling, manufacturing environment, composition of ingredients, and taste and texture were considered more important by the omnivores. Results of this study can be used as basic data for the future development of the fast-growing industry producing plant-based dairy alternative products.

In this paper, we propose an approach for integrated process planning and scheduling through analysis of the alternative operations sequences and machine selection in supply chain with multiple plants. It takes into account such factors alternative machine, alternative operations sequences, setup time, transportation time between plants, along with other manufacturing factors. The objective of the model is to minimize makespan of machine schedules for all parts, determines operations sequence for each part, and selects a machine for each operation simultaneously. Examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Due-date is an important factor in Flexible Manufacturing System scheduling. Even though most of researchers have focused part selection and loading problem using fixed due-date assignment rules, FMSs consist of multi-function machines which facilitate alternative processes. This research investigates interactions of three dispatching mechanisms, three NSS (Next Station Selection) rules and four due-date assignment rules using simulation. Both cost-based and time-based performance measures are considered in this research.

Gene expression profiles may offer more information than morphology and provide an alternative to morphology- based tumor classification systems. Informative gene selection is finding gene subsets that are able to discriminate between tumor types, and may have clear biological interpretation. Gene selection is a fundamental issue in gene expression based tumor classification. In this report, techniques for selecting informative genes are illustrated and supervised shaving introduced as a gene selection method in the place of a clustering algorithm. The supervised shaving method showed good performance in gene selection and classification, even though it is a clustering algorithm. Almost selected genes are related to leukemia disease. The expression profiles of 3051 genes were analyzed in 27 acute lymphoblastic leukemia and 11 myeloid leukemia samples. Through these examples, the supervised shaving method has been shown to produce biologically significant genes of more than $94\%$ accuracy of classification. In this report, SVM has also been shown to be a practicable method for gene expression-based classification.

The purpose of this study is the optimal selection for evaluating alternative computerized manufacturing control software packages. The evaluation and analysis of the alternative computerized manufacturing control software packages is based on a model for Multi-Criteria Decision Making(MCDM). The ultimate of MCDM is to take the best choice among the alternatives or to rank them and the procedure depends on the decision maker's subjective judgement. An example is given to illustrate the application of the MCDM model.

The purpose of this study is to present the rational decision process for new ward office building site. AHP Technique used in this study considers both quantitative and qualitative factors on the basis of decision maker's intuitive, reasonable or unreasonable judgement by giving weight through mutual comparision of publicity factors. The evaluaion factors were refer to another five ward office there were executed these kinds of new site selection before. These standards are composed of 6 middle groups and classified into 9 detailed standards. Alternative building sites are five places in this district. The final evauation standards are Accessibility, Urban Expansion Possibility. Distrct balance, Environment, Financing. Development easiness. And It became clear that the priority of evaluation is Financing > Urban expansion > Accessibility > Development easiness > District balance > Environment. In conclusion, it was determined that alternative " E " is the most adequate place for new ward office building.

In this paper, experimental investigation of capillary tube performance for R-407C is performed. The experimental setup is made of real vapor-compression refrigerating system. In this study, mass flow rate is measured for capillary tubes of various diameter and length as inlet pressure and degree of subcooling are changed. These data are compared with the results of a numerical model. The mass flow rates of the numerical model are less than by 14% compared with the measured mass flow rates. It is found that mass flow rate and length for R-407c are less than those of R-22 under the same condition. Also based on this experimental study and the numerical model, a set of capillary tube selection charts for R-407C is constructed.

The price and revenue of rice are expected to decrease due to increasing rice imports, decreasing consumption and the discontinuance of the government's rice procurement. This degenerating profitability is leading to a rise in the cultivation of upland-crops such as beans, fodder crops and fruits in paddy fields. However, there is a lack of research on the selection of rice substitute crops which are adaptable to the relevant region through profitability analysis. This research, therefore, analyzed investment profitability of rice substitute crops for Cheorwon-gun area in Kangwon province. The study applied net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR), which fit for mutually exclusive investments that make one selection to the exclusion of other crops. Target crops are green house plants in Cheorwon-gun area. Financial analysis showed paprika and cucumber have investment feasibility for automated vinyl greenhouses and conventional plastic greenhouses respectively.

At the product design and development stage, the main criteria selecting a design alternative were performance aspect as well as cost aspect of a product. Ongoing new paradigm shifts such as low carbon green growth, climate change mitigation, sustainable society development urged considering environmental aspect of a product at the product design and development stage. Up to recently, only cost aspect except performance of a product was considered at the railway vehicle design process. Therefore, it is needed to develop a method that may consider environmental aspect of a product at the railway vehicle design process. Lee (2011) proposed that a method of an integration assessment of environmental aspect and cost aspect based on GHG emission instead of based on monetary value. This study conducted that apply the method of Lee (2011) to design alternative selection process of a railway vehicle. From the integrated view of environmental and cost aspect, the reference product and design alternatives are assessed and compared.
