효소분해에 따른 물오리나무 Diarylheptanoid 화합물의 함량 변화 (Variation of Diarylheptanoid from Alnus sibirica Fitch. Ex Turcz. Processed Enzymatic Hydrolysis)

  • Alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz.(AS) geographically distributes in Korea, Japan, Northeast China and Russia. The bark of Alnus species have been used as traditional medicine for the treatment of allergic skin diseases. The content evaluation of compounds which were isolated from the barks of A. sibirica processed enzymatic hydrolysis(EAS); hirsutanonol(1), 5-O-methylhirsutanonol(2), rubranol(3), hirsutenone(4) and muricarpone B(5) was conducted using HPLC. Consequently, in EAS, the content of glycoside was decreased considerably. But the aglycones(1, 3 and 4) were increased highly and 2, 5 were formed newly.

  • Alnus sibirica (AS) geographically distributes in Korea, Japan, Northeast China and Russia. The bark of this plant had been used for antipyretic, expectorant, anti-phlogistic, antitussive, anti-asthmatic and as a health tea for alcoholism. Recently, we studied various biological activities of AS and the isolated diarylheptanoid. In present study, we conducted fermentation of AS (FAS) and isolated two diarylheptanoid (hirsutenone and muricarpone B). Moreover, we established the validation and contents determinations of the two compounds by HPLC on FAS.

  • Chemical investigation of the stem bark of Alnus hirsuta Turcz var. sibirica (Betulaceae), one of the indigenous Alnus species growing in Korea has led to the isolation of five diarylheptanoids. Structures of these compounds were identified as hirsutenone (1), hirsutanonol (2), oregonin (3), (5S)-1,$7-bis-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-heptan-3-one-5-0-{\beta}-D-glucopyranoside$ (4) and (5R)-1,$7-bis-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-heptane-5-0-{\beta}-D-glucopyranoside$ (5) by the analysis of spectroscopic evidences and comparison with the data of authentic samples.

프라이밍 및 종자펠렛 제조를 통한 물푸레나무와 물오리나무의 발아율 향상 및 생장증대 효과 (Effect of Priming and Seed Pellet Technique for Improved Germination and Growth in Fraxinus rhynchophylla and Alnus sibirica)

  • This study was carried out to select new pelleting binder and material for seeds from Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance and Alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz. The optimum treatments of the various concentrations and species of priming agents to improve seed germination of both woody medicinal plants were also estimated. Germinability was increased when the seeds of Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance was soaked in -1.0 MPa of PEG6000 solution at $15^{\circ}C$ for 4 days significantly, the optimum treatment for improving germination of Alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz was observed when the tested seeds was soaked in 100 mM of KCl at $15^{\circ}C$ for 4 days. The influence of physical and chemical properties of pelleting solid materials, the mixture of gypsum, diatomaceous earth, dalma ceramic and vermicuolite (6:1:1:1 ratio) were found as the best pelleting materials for Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance and Alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz. seeds. To satisfy the requirements of absorption and compatibility for multi-layer seed pelleting, SGPA (Starch-grafted cross-linked polyacrylates) hydrogel was prepared using starch, acrylonitrile, ceric ammonium nitrate, nitric acid, methyl alcohol and potassium hydroxide. The resulting SGPA hydrogel showed high water absorption but not plant compatibility. It suggested that seed pelleting using pelleting materials and SGPA hydrogel (multi-layer coating) after priming agent treatment is to increase germinability and seedling growth and it can reduced irrigation labours and can also save seed.

물오리나무 유래 고함량 Oregonin 추출방법 및 생리활성 연구 (Extraction Method and Physiological Activity of High Content Oregonin Derived from Plant of Alnus sibirica Fisch. ex Turcz)

  • Oregonin is known as a representative active substance of plants of the Alnus species. In this study, we will show the results of establishing a method for extracting trace amounts of useful substances in plants. Additionally, a variety of physiological activity studies were conducted with extracts containing high content of useful substances. In this study, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activities of supercritical fluid residue 60% EtOH extracts of Alnus sibirica (ASCFR) were investigated in vitro. To explore anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics of supercritical extract, DPPH radical scavenging, and ABTS radical scavenging activity, inhibition of nitric oxide production in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells and ${\beta}$-hexosaminidase release in IgE-stimulated RBL-2H3 cells were examined, respectively. Results showed a concentration-dependent increase in DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity. Cells stimulated with LPS produced more nitric oxide than normal control cells. However, cells treated with supercritical fluid residue 60% EtOH extract decreased production in a concentration-dependent manner. In anti-allergic activity studies, ASCFR showed concentration-dependentanti-allergic activity. Based on results and strong antioxidant activity, ASCFR has potential as basic research materials for development of therapeutic supplements-based medicines or functional cosmetics related to chronic inflammatory skin immunity diseases.

  • 물갬나무의 집약재배(集約栽培)에 의(依)한 삼림(森林) Biomass와 간재생산(幹材生産) 효율(效率)과의 관계(關係)를 구명(究明)하여 삼림(森林) 생산성(生産性) 향상(向上)을 도모(圖謀)코자 1975년(年) 경기도(京機道) 양평군(陽平郡) 청운면(靑雲面) 다대리(多大里)에 밀도별(密度別) (ha당(當) 3000, 6000, 9000 및 12000 본(本))로 시험(試驗) 조림(造林)을 실시(實施)하여 집약(集約) 관리(管理)한 결과(結果) 식재밀도(植栽密度) ha당(當) 6000 본(本) 이상(以上) 고밀도구(高密度區)의 적정(適正) 수확기(收穫期)(또는 간대시기(間代時期)는 식재(植栽) 5년후(年後)로 추정(推定)되며 지상부(地上部) biomass 량(量) 또는 단목당(單木當) biomass 량(量)의 추정식(推定式)은 $logY=b_0+b_1logd^2h$가 가장 적합(適合)하였다.

국내산 오리나무속 식물로부터 Diarylheptanoid계열 화합물의 함량분석 (Quantitative Determination of Diarylheptanoid Compounds from Korean Alnus)

  • Genus Alnus are deciduous board-leaved trees or shrubs found in the damp place and mountain and more than 17 species are growing in Korea. The bark of Alnus japonica has been used for the treatment of fever, hemorrhage and diarrehea in oriental traditional medicine. Quantitative analysis of diarylheptanoids which were characteristic components of Alnus species (A. japonica, A. hirsuta, and A. hirsuta var. sibirica), has been conducted by HPLC. The results showed that these plants were rich source of diarylheptanoids and the amount of oregonin and hirsutanonol which were major diarylheptanoids showed seasonal variation.

12수종(樹種)에 대(対)한 단벌기(短伐期) 맹아림(萌芽林)의 Biomass 생산(生産) (Wood Biomass Production of Twelve Tree Species in Coppice Plantations Managed Under 1-, 2- and 3- year Rotations)

  • 다음의 12수종(樹種)을 ha당(當) 2,500본식(本式) 식재(植栽)한 조림지(造林地)에서 단벌기맹아림(短伐期萌芽林)(1년(年), 2년(年), 3년벌기(年伐期))을 이용(利用)하여 wood biomass생산량(生産量)(줄기, 가지, 잎)을 6년간(年間) 측정(測定)하였다. 참싸리, 쪽제비싸리, 아까시나무, 은단풍, 버즘나무, 은수원사시(현사시), 알바버드나무, 리기다소나무, 물갬나무, 좀잎산오리나무, 글루티노사 오리나무, 인카나 오리나무, 산록부(山麓部)의 1년(年) 벌기구(伐期区)에서 참싸리가 년간(年間) ha당(當) 2.6톤(생중량(生中量))으로서 가장 많은 biomass를, 현사시가 2번째로 22톤을 생산(生産)했다. 2년벌기구(年伐期区)에서는 현사시가 가장 많은 년간(年間) 4.8톤을, 물갬나무가 2.8톤을 생산(生産)했으며, 3년(年) 벌기구(伐期区)에서는 아까시나무가 년간(年間) ha당(當) 가장 많은 11.2톤을, 그 다음으로 물갬나무가 6.2톤을 생산(生産)했다. 족제비 싸리, 은단풍, 버즘나무, 알바버드나무는 생장(生長)이 아주 불량(不良)하여 biomass나 연료생산(燃料生産)으로 부적당(不適當)하였다. 산복부(山腹部)에서의 생장(生長)은 12수종(樹種) 모두 저조(低調)하였다. 그중(中) 질소(窒素)를 고정(固定)하는 수종(樹種)(아까시나무와 오리나무류(類) 4수종(樹種))만이 약간 우세(優勢)한 생장(生長)을 보여 주었으며, 산복부(山腹部)에는 이 수종(樹種)들 만이 식재(植栽)가 가능(可能)하다고 생각된다. 맹아력(萌芽力)이 강(强)한 수종(樹種)이 biomass생산량(生産量)도 많았다. 이들 수종(樹種)의 건조(乾燥)된 목편(木片)의 발열량(發熱量)은 4,485~5,125cal/g이었다. 최대(最大)의 biomass생산(生産)을 위(爲)하여 맹아림(萌芽林)에 의(依)한 삼년벌기(三年伐期)가 일년(一年) 혹(惑)은 이년(二年) 벌기(伐期)보다 더 우수(優秀)하며, 아까시나무와 물갬나무가 가장 유망(有望)하다고 인정(認定)된다.

冠岳山의 南斜面과 北斜面의 植被의 比較硏究 (Phytosocioloical Study on the Two Contrasting Aspects with the South and North Slopes in Mt. Kwanak)

  • The vegetation on the north and south slopes of Kwanak mountain was assessed and recorded during thesummer of 1976. Recordings were made of 5*5m quadrats placed along the transects running parallel to the slopes. On the north slope, most of large trees such as Alnus sibirica, Sorbus alnifolia, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Pinus rigida make the crown and their mean DBH was conspicuously large, while the vegetation of south slope is dominated by dwarf Juniperus utilis, Pinus densiflora, Weigela florida var. glabra which are considered as a resistant species of dry site. The amount of humus, total nitrogen, soil water content and available phosphorous is higher on the north slope than the south one. However, the soil pH is higher on the south slope. It is assumed that the humus content is a main factor to make difference on the type of vegetation between the north and south slope.
