This study results of performed field load test in order to estimate the best pile length assessment and allowable bearing capacity of the pile foundation. End of initial driving(EOID) and restrike of pile dynamic loading tests were performed to calculate allowable bearing capacity of the experimental pile side and results were compared with the allowable bearing capacity estimated by theory. The results of allowable bearing capacity by EOID test is $1.08{\sim}1.21$ in the range of compared to the capacity calculated by the Structure Foundation Design Criterion. Allowable bearing Capacity by restrike of pile dynamic loading test is $1.32{\sim}1.48$ in the range of compared to the Structure Foundation Design Criterion. The Foundation Design Criterion underestimated the pile capacity. If the bearing capacity calculated by Structure Foundation Design Criterion is 100, EOID of pile dynamic loading test is 116, restrike of pile dynamic loading test is 138 for 20m pile used in this experimental.
Recently, power requirement has been increasing. But the large generation unit is hardly installed because of economic and environment problem. Therefore, the concern for DG(distributed generation) is growing. Present, allowable interconnection capacity of DG for composite distributed generation is studied. In this paper, it is studied that the new interconnection capacity of DG for composite distribution system interconnected DG. We study new allowable interconnection capacity by power factor and placement. We study SERV(sending end reference voltage) variation and allowable interconnection capacity interconnected new DG.
In this study, inverse analysis was performed on the bi-directional axial compressive load test conducted on drilled shafts. And the bearing capacities were analyzed by numerical analysis of various pile tip ground conditions of silt clay, silt sand, sand silt, sand gravel, weathered rock, and soft rock. The bearing capacities were analyzed using the P-S method, the Davisson method, and the allowable sttlement of 25.4 mm. The minimum allowable bearing capacities analyzed by three methods were found to be 19.64 MN ~ 24.96 MN. At this time, the base resistances were sharing a 2% ~ 12% of a head load, shaft resistance were shared 88% ~ 98% of the head load. The greater the strength of pile tip was found to increase the allowable bearing capacity. However, the difference between the maximum allowable bearing capacity and the minimum allowable bearing capacity was 5.32 MN, and the increase in the allowable bearing capacity was only 27% depending on the pile tip.

The evaluation of the allowable bearing capacity is the most important step in the design of a foundation. An accurate evaluation of the effect of all factors such as the physical properties of the soil located beneath the area, the size of the area, the depth of foundation, and the position of the water table is impracticable Therefore, the designer is compelled to estimate the allowable bearing capacity on the basis of simple semiempirical rules under cohesionless soils. This paper deals with semiemperical rules for determining allowable bearing capacity based on observed relations between the results of standard penetration test. Additional comparisions between the results of the theoretical methods and the emperical rules are performed to suggest more conservative design for the engineer.

Structural insulated panels, which are structurally performed panels consisting of a plastic insulation bonded between two structural panel facings are one of emerging products with a viewpoint of its energy and construction efficiencies. These components are applicable to fabricated wood structures. By now, there are few technical documents regulated structural performance and engineering criteria in domestic market. This study was conducted to suggest fundamental reports such as racking resistance, axial capacity, transverse load capacity, and lintel load capacity for SIPs. Test results showed that maximum load was 44.3kN, allowable load was 14.7kN for racking resistance, and that maximum load was 137.6kN, allowable load was 37.4kN/m for axial compression capacity. For transverse load capacity, test results showed $10.3kN/m^2$ of maximum load, $3.4kN/m^2$ of allowable load. For lintel load capacity for SIPs dependent to lengths, allowable loads were 20.4kN for 600mm long lintel, 23.9kN for 1,200mm long lintel, 19.3kN for 1,800mm long lintel, and 2,400mm long lintel had 14.1kN of allowable load. In the near future, when the allowable load for wall application is established, SIPs is considered to substitute the existent post-and-lintel construction to bearing wall structure.
Pull-out load tests were performed on a CPR (Compaction grouting compound Pile with Reinforce) test pile, with skin friction being evaluated by the yield load and allowable bearing capacity after analyzing load-displacement curves and load-settlement curves. Results of the CPR test piles analyzed from the load-displacement curves show that the yield load and allowable bearing capacity of the large-diameter CPR test pile were about 1.4 times larger than that of the small-diameter pile. Results of the load-settlement curves reveal that the allowable bearing capacity of the CPR test pile with diameter of D500 was 1.2~2.1 times greater than that of the pile with diameter of D400. However, the allowable bearing capacity calculated using Fuller's analysis differed substantially from that determined using the P (Pull-out load) - S (Settlement) and log P - log S curves. Therefore, calculation of the allowable bearing capacity using Fuller's analysis is shown to be inappropriate.

Pile load test is good for estimating pile bearing capacity, but using this method is limited by time and cost required. Dynamic and static method is more convenient and economical, but confidence of estimated value by dynamic and static method are lower than that of pile load test. After being compared pile bearing capacity data obtained from pile load test with those of other two methods, the results from this study were summarised as follows. For allowable bearing capacity values greater than 175t per pile, bearing capacity acquired from static method was higher than that acquired from pile load test, whereas bearing capacity acquired from pile load test was higher than that acquired from static method for values under 175 per pile. It was that variance of bearing capacity was large when bearing capacity obtained by dynamic method was higher than 250t. Also bearing capacity based on dynamic method was higher than that based on pile load test. Allowable bearing capacity get from dynamic method suggested that carefull precautions are necessary in application for allowable bearing capacity values higher than 2S0ton per pile.

Reliability analysis between safety factor and reliability index for driven and bored pile load capacity was analyzed in this study. 0.1B, Chin, De Beer, and Davisson's methods were used for determining pile load capacity by using load-settlement curve from pile load test. Each method define ultimate, yield and allowable pile load capacities. LCPC method using CPT results was performed for comparing with results of pile load test. Based on FOSM analysis using load factors, it is obtained that reliability indices for ultimate pile load capacity were higher than those of yield and allowable condition. Present safety factor 2 for yield and allowable load capacities are not enough to satisfy target reliability index $2.0\sim2.5$. However, it is sufficient for ultimate pile load capacity using safety factor 3.
This paper presents results km a series of model tests oil vertically loaded single piles to compare the behaviors of H and pipe piles under the same ground condition. The aims of this paper were to compare the bearing capacity of H-pile md pipe piles under in the same ground condition and to estimate the effect of gravity acceleration and relative soil density. Relative density of soil were made to be 40%, 80% and embedded length of pile on sand was increased by 10, 12, 14, 16 times of the diameter of pile, respectively. As a results of test series, allowable load of H-pile is from 6.4% to 18.2% larger than allowable load of pipe pile in relative density 80% and from 9.1% to 39.4% larger than allowable load of pipe pile in relative density 40%. As a results of numerical analysis, we were predicted behaviour of stress-displacement of pile with model test. In the case of relative density 80% and 40%, bearing capacity of H pile represent from 17.74% to 18.6% larger than allowable load of pipe pile.
Although the load -settlement curve characteristics of embedded piles are different from those of driven piles, for the determination of their allowable loads the same analysis method has been adopted without any considerations. According to the related domestic chi teria, the analysis methods of load-settlement curve have some conflicts among themselves and have several vague points in obtaining the allowable capacity from ultimate or yield capacity. In order to solve those problems, the relevant literatures were reviewed. And also the result of 106 pile load tests was analysed. Analysis result indicates that analysis met hods of the load-settlement curve based on single mathematical curve are not suitable for the general analysis method of load-settlement curves due to their various characteristics. As a result, the appropriate analysis methods and safety factors for the determination of allowable capacity of pile are suggested in this paper.
