In the middle of that a information form is being formlessly changed to diverse deirections, a design and a space as physical consequence show not only a allegory but mutually relational charicteristic meaning a nonboundary and nonlinear form by development of modem digital culture. Following development of the modern digital culture, a design and space which are physical results, show a point of correlative specificity, allegory, nonlinear and nonboundary, Not only a design and culture but also various circles handle a hypertext as a representative pivot in this change. this has same contexts as rhizome possessing a asignifiante and nomadic characteristic said by Felix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze. An ideal of rhizome space shows historical decisions, unexpected accidents, a concepts, an individual. a group, social compositions above an contrifugal exterior force, This study examines into surroundings designed by a hypertext and rhizome through a case accordingly and infers an ultramodern characteristic in conventional precognition with synthesizing a peculiarity of the digital generation space.
This study examines the various expressions and immanent value of fashion and beauty style based on Craig Owens's Allegory theory. I analyzed four application elements of Borrow, Site Specificity, Accumulation of Strategy, and Hybridization in? Ladygaga's Music Videos. The results are as follows. 'Borrow' presents a kitsch style and playful Pop-art style, transformation of gender from Mini Mouse body suit, telephone headpiece, and can hair. 'Site specificity' presents the temporarity of fashion material through rebirth, aging, natural extinction from the chain over the black jump suit, crime scene tape, and skull-face makeup with masculine style. 'Accumulation of strategy' presents a futuristic chic fashion style from a layered style, retrospective fashion, repetition and duplication in Music Videos. It shows the physical beauty of an Asian warrior style in Poker Face. 'Hybridization' present Cyborg feminism and 'Will of Power' from iPOD LCD glasses and Pyro-Bra. The Pyro-Bra represents how the female body can be used as a weapon in the outfits of Lady Gaga. In addition, Immanent value is as follows. Textual interaction with high art is accomplished through a combination of contemporary social and cultural significance to understand the cultural code and to extend the value. Combined with high culture, popular music genre is accomplished through musical appreciation by a woman in fashion styling and sensual pleasures of the body as a tool to express a sublime advantage. Fashion style is accomplished by overcoming a self-transcendent body image representation. The way in which mutual coupling dismantling, destruction, and uncertainty is to re-launch the static, with a pluralistic context of Textuality.
This study comprehends the various expressions of Lady Gaga's fashion style based on Craig Owens's Allegory theory. This study analyzed four application elements of Borrow, Site Specificity, Accumulate of Strategy, and Hybridization in addition, it studied all aspects of the aesthetic value of Lady GaGa (an influential popular culture icon). It was classified in the external representation of the fashion style for the aesthetic value. The results are summarized as follows: First, 'Borrow' of the singers of the 80's music and fashion style present from her elders and visual homage to shock artists. It influenced her fans with a difference in viewpoint for a star's fashion that subsequently resulted in a deformation of form, playful kitsch style, and mixed gender. Second, 'Site specificity' presents an extreme make over through an intentional and grotesques fashion style to extend physical territory and defenseless. The results remove stereotypes and reveal deconstructive performances. Third, 'Accumulate of strategy' simultaneously presents voluptuous beauty, futurism, and avant-garde style. This shows the countercultural tendency through the random repetition of fashion images and layerd coordination. Finally, 'Hybridization' presents multiful fashion style through a collaboration with world-famous designers and cosmetic brands. She expressed a diverse and complex fashion style composed of an art form that combines a high-tech cyborg image. The aesthetic values of Lady Gaga' fashion style are 'ambivalence virtuality', 'Transcendental mixed gender', 'plural textuality', and 'unexpected play culture'.
Perspective of director Bong Joon-ho shown in his movies up to now had been limited to domestic issues but that in the was shifted to the world, mankind, and future of humans. Images exhibited in his movies had the same meanings of many stories in the Bible and myths. The study looks into his philosophical world through the Christian view of the world and the Oriental circulation thinking; the story of the was expressed in before the glacial period, the 17 year glacial period spent in a train, and after the glacial period; structure of the story was composed of allegory as prior to Israelites' Escape from Egypt, desert life for 40 years, and entrance to Canaan. The end in the Bible does not mean complete collapse but it contains aspiration for new heaven and new earth to open a new era, to make a new promise with the God and to live a permanent life. This study intends to interpret the developed in a quite different meaning of imagination of humans' future from the previous one by the director Bong Joon-ho and to make another different explanation underlying in the image projected on the surface layer by the director.
M. M. Bakhtin's dialogic concept of multi-voiced discourse allows us to open up the text of The Clerk's Tale and to account for its radical heterogeneity. Once we recognize the multi-voiced character of The Clerk's Tale, then what was heretofore regarded as discontinuous or ignored can be seen as the clash of several different world-views. Such a conceptual framework gives an added depth and scope to such thematic subjects as sovereignty, the status of women, and rhetorical style. There are three different and antagonistic voices involved in the tale's narration. These voices project different viewpoints or world-views, and they consequently engage each other in a polemic debate. Their relationship with each other is discontinuous and dialectical rather than continuous and harmonious. The first voice is the Petrarchan voice of moral allegory, which is the voice of tradition, authority, and high seriousness. This voice of moral allegory regards the story of Griselda as an exemplum of spiritual constancy and virtuous suffering. The second voice is the Clerkly voice of pathos based on human experience and feeling. This voice is defined by the Clerk's asides and apostrophes interspersed in the narrative proper, which function to engage the Petrarchan voice in a polemical debate. The third voice is the voice of parody, nominally identified with Chaucer the poet, which is located in the second ending, including Envoy. Whereas the other two voices are earnest and serious, the voice of parody is irrelevant, playful and antagonistic to both the Petrarchan voice of moral allegory and the Clerkly voice of secular humility.

This study explores the ways in which depaysement and its dreams function as a hallucinative allegory on the basis of the spiritual freedom of surrealism in Luis Bunuel's films: "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" and "The Phantom of Liberty". In order to grasp the appearances of the sign in the scene of these films, it examines how he uses surrealism's dépaysement techniques such as the disposition of floating object, bipolarity, and physical contradictions of images. These emerging aesthetic views are as follows: the antipathy to reason, the critique of law and order, the aversion to ideology, and state apparatus. These finally aim at criticizing fundamental irrationality, thus paving a path for opening the possibility of liberation. He laid the foundation for a surrealist film by appropriatizing surrealist techniques to spread his claims. Therefore, this study argues that filmic scenes of dreams and hallucinations for a hallucinative allegory are closely related with the technique of depaysement network which summons the significance of surrealistic freedom in these films.
The purpose of this study was to investigate Renaissance wall-covering fabrics through Flemish paintings, that provides the details of the origin and development of background of modern wallcovering. The methods of the study are as follows. First, the background of textile development of Flanders in the 14th to 16th centuries were examined through a prior study. Second, the shape and use of wallcoverings in paintings painted during that time were analyzed and the process of changing to modern forms was studied. The residential environment with many stone buildings in relatively humid and cold weather created a need for decorative fabrics. Back then, the wool and flax fabric were not allowed to be worn on the body, so the materials were used for the development of interior fabrics. The characteristics of wall covering in Flemish paint can be summarized with movable, allegory, and decoration. Movable stems from the arrival of the emerging aristocrats of Flanders, who had enormous commercial trade and carried decorative fabrics; the mobility has become an allegory in reality as the royal and aristocratic use of wall-decorated fabrics is the symbol of authority. In addition, unlike Italy, where silk was procured from the East, fabrics manufactured using flax and wool were not suitable for clothing in terms of religion and practicality and were used to decorate walls.
Hojil(虎叱) and Yangbanjeon(兩班傳) reveal the characteristic styles of Park Jiwon(朴趾源)'s writing, which is combining styles of unofficial history/biography(外傳) and allegory(寓言), and full of the senses of satire and humour which form another characteristc of his writing style or tone. This paper reexamines narrative styles, meaning structures and themes of these two works which combine the styles of unofficial history/biography and allegory, and researches methods and techniques of allegory and satire which presents the subversive and critical themes and thoughts of the author. In Hojil, combining of the two styles, the author constructs the narrative world and plot, manipulates allegoric figures to symbolize and present multilayered meaning, and criticize the decadence of confucian aristocracy [Sadaebu: 士大夫] and it's abuses. In Yangbanjeon by combining of two styles, the author weave a biography of Yangban(兩班) in general, which presents the attributes and historical position of the Yangban class. And by the nonsensical fictional event which caricatures crisis of the Yangban class, and tedious description of the manners and behaviors of the Yangban, the author and satires the snobbery of the Yangban and the absurdity of their classical privileges. As he did in Hojil, the author urges the self-examination of the reader raising a question about the position and the function or duty of the Yangban class in the changing world. And the various skills of satire together with the irony, paradox, parody and pun were used dexterously in above two works.

Miss Ki, the heroine of (취유부벽정기) is the image on which Hong-saeng's mind is projected. And the mind of Hong-saeng(홍생) is the allegory of Kim, si-seop's(김시습) mind to king Dan-jong. So I think the mind of Ki who thinks patriotism is more important than her life is the allegory of Kim si-seop's patriotic sentiment to king Dan-jong. And I think the sorrow of Hong-saeng for the ruins of Ko-choseon(고조선) means sorrow of Kim, si-seop's(김시습) for the death of Dan-jong's. They felt sorrowful because values that they considered as absolute ones were damaged. However, everything in the world are fatally changed. Although people think the most important thing they think now is never changed, after long time they cannot but see all is changed. At last people realize the thing seemed most important will disappear in vain. So the writer of (취유부벽정기) made a image of Miss Ki who is a nymph of moon and was the princess of Ko-choseon to awaken Hong-saeng. He intended to change hong-saeng's mind to king Dan-jong with the change of Miss Ki's mind to her father. But the writer knew the fact that though Hong-saeng changed his mind, he could not become happy. So he wanted to transcend the real world, but he can't. After all he expressed his wants in fantastic lunar world.
This paper examines how Sedgwick makes a political allegory of founding the nation in domestic terms in The Linwoods (1835). Set in the Revolutionary period, The Linwoods is a historical fiction reconstructed by the writer in order to diagnose currently controversial issues. In this aspect, Sedgwick's interest in history is genealogical in Foucaudian sense. Foucault's genealogical method provides a way of recuperating a part of history hidden, submerged, obliterated by the official history. Seen in a genealogical perspective, the story of the Linwoods can be viewed as a political allegory in order to explore political conflicts of Sedgwick's own day. Faced with the threat of national disunion presented in the Nullification Crisis of sectional conflicts and divisions, Sedgwick attempts to provide a fictional solution to the first serious challenge to the U. S. Constitution. Going back to the times around the American Revolution, Sedgwick emphasizes how strenuously the American Constitution of America was formed as the outcome of the war against the tyranny of Britain, and how the Union was made on the basis of the cooperation between the States. By posing a contrast of political positions between family members, Sedgwick imagines a family/nation that allows diverse political positions. The conclusion of a diversity of marriages between man and woman who agree to be united after overcoming their differences in political affiliations seems to show her conservative proclivity to support the Union. However, by emphasizing the principles of freedom and equality represented by the significant role of Isabella and Rose, an African-American slave, in the victory of the American Revolution, Sedgwick also supports the spirit of the Jacksonian American democracy.
