  • This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. We have tested quality measurement test for VoIP/MoIP, VoD, IPTV services and analyzed the level of QoS and QoS degradation by constructing test laboratory consisted of 46 subscribers which provided by 3 telecom operators. Besides, We propose QoS Model to apply for BcN application based on analysis result and prove proposed model by constructing test lab in KOREN environment. It is expected that telecom will use this results as a valuable information to construct All-IP network based on NGN(NGN:Next Generation Network). This paper proposes QoS Model which has tested and analyzed the capabilities of provisioning multimedia service in high speed Internet environment. • IP-based Wireless Sensor Networks (IP-WSNs) are gaining importance for their broad range of applications in health care, home automation, environmental monitoring, industrial control, vehicle telematics, and agricultural monitoring. In all these applications, a fundamental issue is the mobility in the sensor network, particularly with regards to energy efficiency. Because of the energy inefficiency of network-based mobility management protocols, they can be supported via IP-WSNs. In this paper, we propose a network-based mobility-supported IP-WSN protocol called mSFP, or the mSFP: "Multicasting-supported Inter-Domain Mobility Management Scheme in Sensor-based Fast Proxy Mobile IPv6 Networks". Based on [8,20], we present its network architecture and evaluate its performance by considering the signaling and mobility cost. Our analysis shows that the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost, total cost, and mobility cost. With respect to the number of IP-WSN nodes, the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost by 7% and the total cost by 3%. With respect to the number of hops, the proposed scheme reduces the signaling cost by 6.9%, the total cost by 2.5%, and the mobility cost by 1.5%. With respect to the number of IP-WSN nodes, the proposed scheme reduces the mobility cost by 1.6%.

  • This paper addresses QoS functions in mobile backhaul network to accommodate the diverse traffics in cell site. The traffics assigned to the switching function in RAN system, such as Ethernet frame, IP packet, and ATM cell, are segmented, and then encapsulated to transfer then to the mobile backhaul network. ISP can converge all generation traffics, such as voice, HSPA, over all-IP RAN through standard pseudowire encapsulation. These can be enhanced with diverse QoS methods as well as comprehensive monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. Therefore in this paper, QoS functions under theses operations is simulated according to the encapsulation functions.

  • Recently, new network systems have begun to emerge (for instance, 5G, IoT, and ICN) that require capabilities beyond that provided by existing IP networking. To fulfill the requirements, some new networking technologies are being proposed. The promising approach of the new networking technology is to try to overcome the architectural limitations of IP networking by adopting an identifier (ID)-based networking concept in which communication objects are identified independently from a specific location and mechanism. However, we note that existing ID-based networking proposals only partially meet the requirements of emerging and future networks. This paper proposes a new ID-based networking architecture and mechanisms, named IDNet, to meet all of the requirements of emerging and future networks. IDNet is designed with four major functional blocks-routing, forwarding, mapping system, and application interface. For the proof of concept, we develop numeric models for IDNet and implement a prototype of IDNet.

  • In this paper, end-to-end VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) performance is evaluated by simulation with NS-2 simulation tool. There are many results studied and published for VoIP performance over TCP/IP networks. But, almost all of them were focused on wired or wireless Internet environments. About MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network), VoIP is currently studying several points of research. In this paper, analysis of VoIP performance is done with focusing on the mobility of MANETs. MOS(Mean Opinion Score), network delay, packet loss rates are considered as end-to-end QoS performance parameters.

  • With the advent of FinTech, many financial services have become available in the mobile Internet environment and recently, there is an internet bank that provides all bank services online. As the proportion of financial services over the Internet increases, it offers convenience to users, but at the same time, the threat of financial network is increasing. Financial institutions are investing heavily in security systems in case of an intrusion. However attacks by hackers are getting more sophisticated and difficult to cope with. However, applying an IP Trace-back method that can detect the actual location of an attacker to a financial network can prepare for an attacker's arrest and additional attacks. In this paper, we investigate IP Trace-back technology that can detect the actual location of attacker and analyze it to apply it to financial network. And we propose a new IP Trace-back method through Infra-structure construction through simulation experiments.

  • High speed all optical network is a viable option to satisfy the exponential growth of internet usage in the recent years. Optical networks offer very high bit rates and, by employing technologies like internet protocol over wavelength division multiplexing(IP-over-WDM), these high bit rates can be effectively utilized. However, failure of a network component, carrying such high speed data traffic can result in enormous loss of data in a few seconds and persistence of a failure can severely degrade the performance of the entire network. Designing IP-over-WDM networks, which can withstand failures, has been subject of considerable interest in the research community recently. Most of the research is focused on the failure of optical links in the network. This paper addresses the problem of designing IP-over-WDM networks that do not suffer service degradation in case of a single link failure. The paper proposes an approach based on the framework provided by a recent paper by M. Kurant and P. Thiran. The proposed approach can be used to design large survivable IP-over-WDM networks.

  • With the established voice service, the data service is increasing in the field of mobile telecommunications in these days. Also, the data service develops into the form of multimedia service which combines various media. However, it is limited to provide QoS(Quality of Service) for the multimedia using the established network which manages all the data in sam: rule. So, this paper suggests the network architecture which assures QoS of multimedia data by applying MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching) to the core network. Especially, we analyze the efficiency of the network combining Mobile IP network based on the WLAN(Wireless LAN) and core network based on MPLS through by network simulations using QualNet.

  • In IP-USN for replacing the sensor network based on Zigbee by IP-based it, routing and the address assignment technique for sensor node are important focuses. But, there is a weak point in existing hierarchical routings. It is that all paths must be searched because the end node isn't considered. And the end node based muting is not sufficient in the mobile sensor network environment because it supports the only simple-path-search. Hereupon, this thesis suggests ComHRP(Complement HRP) that have the only merits of existing methods. The address assignment technique and search method are also proposed. ComHRP simplifies the organization of sensor networks and reduces network complexity. Also, It can efficiently deal with restructuring networks for the unpredictable ubiquitous sensor network feature.
