AlTiN 코팅 층수에 따른 볼 엔드밀의 마모특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wear Characteristics of the Ball End Mill According to the AlTiN Coated Layers)

  • In this research KP-4, one of the plastic mold steels, was coated with the AlTiN from one layer to four layers by the PVD method in the $\Phi$ cemented carbide ball end mill. Coated KP-4 was processed with various conditions. For example, slope of $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ the spindle rotation speed was changed from 10,000rpm to 16,000rpm, the tool feeding speed was changed from 1,300mm/min to 1,700mm/min, the depth of cut was also changed from 0.3mm to 0.9mm, and etc. Cutting component force according to the coating layer number, surface roughness, and the wear of tool were studied.

유기 발광 소자를 위한 금속 착물의 합성 및 그 박막 제조에 관한 연구 (Study on Synthesis of Metal Complex and Preparation of Its Thin Films for Organic Electroluminescent Device)

  • Tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)-aluminum complex($AlQ_3$) having greenish luminescent characteristics was synthesized and it was confirmed with UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and FT-IR spectroscopy that $AlQ_3$ was successfully synthesized. Thin films of $AlQ_3$ having multilayer structure were prepared by spin coating method and vacuum evaporation technique. Photopluminescent characteristics of these films were investigated by Luminescence spectroscopy and Current-Voltage(I-V) characteristics of these films were also investigated.

Electrical Bistable Characteristics of Organic Charge Transfer Complex for Memory Device Applications

  • In this work, the electrical bistability of an organic CT complex is demonstrated and the possible switching mechanism is proposed. 2,9-Dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (BCP) and tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) are used as an organic donor and acceptor, respectively, and poly-methamethylacrylate (PMMA) is used as a polymeric matrix for spin-coating. A device with the Al/($Al_2O_3$)/PMMA:BCP:TCNQ[1:1:0.5 wt%]/Al configuration demonstrated bistable and switching characteristics similar to Ovshinsky switching with a low threshold voltage and a high ON/OFF ratio. An analysis of the current-voltage curves of the device suggested that electrical switching took place due to the charge transfer mechanism.

  • 고체윤활제는 고온부품의 응용에 매우 적합한 소재이다. 세라믹스를 기반으로 하는 고온저마찰소재는 우주항공, 발전시설 등과 같은 다양한 분야에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 고온저마찰 소재를 가지는 자기윤활 $Al_2O_3-ZrO_2$ 세라믹 복합 코팅층의 마찰마모거동에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 자기윤활 $Al_2O_3-ZrO_2$ 세라믹 복합 코팅층은 대기플라즈마 용사법으로 제작하였으며, 비윤활상태에서 마찰마모거동을 조사하였다.

  • Effects of chemical compositions and manufacturing conditions on mechanical properties and microstructures were investigated in order to obtain galvannealed high strength dual phase steel sheets with superior mechanical properties and coating properties. An intercritical annealing between Ac1 and Ac3 was conducted to produce the DP (dual phase) steel sheets, followed by quenching to room temperature. The purposes of Al addition are to reduce the iron oxidation with chemical composition (Si, Mn etc.) and to improve the wettability by liquid zinc. The present study will focus on the characterization for making dual phase steel sheets and enhancing the galvanizability of Al added DP steel sheets about continuous annealing line in CGL.

  • The fabrication procedure and characteristics of $Ta_2O_5/Al/SiO_2/p-Si$ MIS solar cells forming a fine grating pattern of aluminum evaporated on to p-type silicon crystal are discribed. The proper temperature for oxide growing of these cells was found to be about $450^{\circ}C$ for 20 minutes with oxygen flow. The conversion efficiency increased about 3% after $750{\AA}$ thickness of tantalium silica film spin on anti-reflective coating. The best results showed that $V_{oc}=0.545V,\;J_{sc}=34mA$ and F.F = 0.65, which represent that the conversion efficiency is 12%.

Influence of processing parameters for adhesion strength of TiAlN films prepared by Arc Ion Plating

  • Wear resistant TiAlN thin film has been widely deposited on the surface of cutting and forming tools by using Arc Ion Plating. TiAlN films are deposited by the processes designed by the Taguchi L18 experimental design. The L18 experimental design is applied to achieve surface properties and adhesion. The deposition parameters are working pressure, substrate temperature, bias voltage, arc power and pre-sputtering bias voltage and time. The most influential parameters on surface properties and adhesion are substrate bias voltage, working nitrogen pressure and arc power. The optimal coating processes are obtained for surface properties and adhesion.

  • We prepared the Al doped ZnO coating Ag multilayer thin films on glass without substrate heating using FTS system. The structure of multilayer thin films has Al doped ZnO/Ag/Al doped ZnO(AZO/Ag/AZO). The thickness of top and bottom AZO thin films were fixed to 50 nm, respectively and controlled the thickness of Ag thin films with deposition time. As-doped multilayer thin films were prepared at 1mTorr and input power (DC) of 100W at room temperature. To investigate the film properties, we employed four-point probe, UVNIS spectrometer, X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Hall Effect measurement system and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM).

반사방지 VF2-TrFE 박막을 이용한 태양전지 특성

  • 본 논문에서는 반사방지 VF2-TrFE 박막을 이용한 MIS Solar cell을 제작하여 전기적, 구조적 특성을 평가하였다. ALD법을 이용하여 고유전율의 화학적 안정성이 우수한 산화알루미늄을 절연층으로 한 Al/Al2O3/Si(100)을 제작하였으며 cell의 효율을 향상시키기 위해 spin coating법을 이용하여 VF2-TrFE 반사방지막을 증착시켰다. 제작된 반사방지 VF2-TrFE 박막 MIS solar cell은 MIS 커패시터의 전류밀도-전계 특성, 커패시턴스-전압 특성과 반사방지막 열처리 조건에 따른 태양전지 효율을 Solar simulator 및 Quantum Efficiency system으로 측정하였다.

불화물계 용융염중에서 Steel 기지 소재의 Al 전해피복에 관한 연구 (A Study on Metalliding of Al on Steel from Molten Fluorides)

  • Diffusion coating(metalliding) of aluminium on steel from molten fluorides(29.2wt.% LiF-11.7wt.% NaF-59.1wt.% KF, FLINAK) was studied. The electrolytic cell consists of a steel cathode and a consumable aluminium anode. Effects of manganese on the aluminium deposition were also investigated. The quality of the deposit was analyzed by SEM, OM, EPMA, EDXA, and also examined by means of Micro-Vickers hardness and corrosion tests. Deposit layer was identified as an aluminium-rich iron alloy caused by diffusion process. The optimum condition for the metalliding was found to be the current density, 50 to $150mA/\textrm{cm}^2$, the bath tem-perature, $57.5^{\circ}C$, and the amount of AlF3, 10wt.%. Addition of manganese fluoride (up to 5wt.%) as a co-de-posit element improved significantly the quality of the deposit layer.
