면과 친수 가공 폴리에스테르 소재로 된 트레이닝복의 인체 생리 효과 (Effects of Thermophysiological Responses by Trainning Wear Made from Cotton and Hygroscopically Treated Polyester)

  • This study was executed to show influence of material and property of sportswear to physiological responses of body and comfort sensation and to supply basic research data about comfortable sportswear Trainning wear was manufactured with cotton(C) and hygroscopically treated polyester material (FP), and its properties of material were measured. Then rectal temperature, skin temperature, heart rate, weight loss, clothing microclimate and subjective sensation was estimated with study of wearing with these sportswear and examined the influence that it got to physiological responses of body and sensation. Health adult men were selected for subjects and executed at climatic chamber of temperature, $20\pm2^{\circ}C and humidity, $60\pm5%$ R.H. Conclusively sportswear of hygroscopically treated polyester is a favorable functional material. So far factor that affect to physiological comfort sensation has been explained mostly by moisture regain but in our experiment, it turned out that air permeability, water absorption velocity and dynamic oater absorption etc. were affecting factors. So according to this result, air permeability and moisture permeability should be considered with transmittance of temperature moisture for development of comfort material.

폴리에테르술폰 정밀여과막의 제조 및 특성 연구 (Preparation and Characteristics of Polyethersulfone Microfiltration Membranes)

  • 본 연구에서는 p-toluenesulfonic acid (TSA)와 polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)를 함유한 polyethersulfone (PES) 고분자 용액을 이용하여 PES 멤브레인 내에 최소 공경을 갖는 내부 분리층을 만드는 방법에 관한 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 팽윤제로 사용된 PVP와 응고제로 사용된 TSA를 함유한 평막형 PES 멤브레인의 제조 및 구조적인 특성 조사가 수행되었으며, 상업용 막에 대등할 만한 투과 성능과 좁은 pore size distribution을 가지는 멤브레인을 제조할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 PVP의 첨가는 멤브레인의 단면구조와 투과 성능에, TSA는 투과 성능보다는 pore size distribution에 영향을 준다는 것을 확인하였으며 이는 FE-SEM 결과와 TSA를 첨가한 멤브레인의 단면 사진에서 내부 최소 기공층의 두께가 두꺼워짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • This study aims to investigate numerically the static and dynamic stiffness characteristics of porous air bearing and to estimate appropriate permeability values of porous medium. In particular, a new roughness model is proposed and implemented into the commercial CFD code (FLUENT Ver.6.2). The predicted results are extensively compared with experimental data for static cases. The roughness model is also validated through comparison with the results from open literature. For the dynamic cases, the deforming and re-meshing technique is used for describing fluid-solid interactions. It is found that the predictions for static stiffness are in good agreement with experimental data and the dynamic stiffness appears to be relatively smaller than the static stiffness. In addition, moving and dynamic analysis of air bearing seems to be possible to provide qualitative predictions even if there are somewhat discrepancies quantitatively, compared to experimental data.

SAFETY STUDIES ON HYDROGEN PRODUCTION SYSTEM WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS-COOLED REACTOR

  • A primary-pipe rupture accident is one of the design-basis accidents of a High-Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor (HTGR). When the primary-pipe rupture accident occurs, air is expected to enter the reactor core from the breach and oxidize in-core graphite structures. This paper describes an experiment and analysis of the air ingress phenomena and the method fur the prevention of air ingress into the reactor during the primary-pipe rupture accident. The numerical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones regarding the density of the gas mixture, the concentration of each gas species produced by the graphite oxidation reaction and the onset time of the natural circulation of air. A hydrogen production system connected to the High-Temperature Engineering Test Reactor (HTTR) Is being designed to be able to produce hydrogen by themo-chemical iodine-Sulfur process, using a nuclear heat of 10 MW supplied by the HTTR. The HTTR hydrogen production system is first connected to a nuclear reactor in the world; hence a permeation test of hydrogen isotopes through heat exchanger is carried out to obtain detailed data for safety review and development of analytical codes. This paper also describes an overview of the hydrogen permeation test and permeability of hydrogen and deuterium of Hastelloy XR.

  • The amount of moisture transmitted under four different humidity conditions was measured in earlywood and latewood for Cryptomeria japonica(LT specimens). The results obtained are summarized as follows. The vapor permeability in eariywood was about three times larger than that of latewood. The vapor permeabilities in earlywood and late wood depended on the average moisture content of the wood. This indicates that moisture transmission is influenced by vapor permeability or vapor-transmission resistance, but the values obtained by experiments do not have great adaptability for practical situations because of changes in the experimental conditions. There fore, it is necessary to know the moisture content along the flow direction in order to explain the moisture transmission of wood. The vapor permeability was calculated using the density in air dried wood. These were then compared with the experimental values. The vapor permeabilities calculated with this density in the radial direction(LR specimen) had a good tendency to agree with the experimental values, but not so in tangential direction(LT specimen).

  • 열유도상분리법(TIPS) 및 연신의 복합공정을 적용하여 막증류(Membrane distillation, MD)용 다공성 PVDF 중공사 분리막을 제조하였다. 분리막의 투과도를 증가시키기 위하여 분리막 투과도를 향상시킬 수 있는 성능인자들 중 분리막의 벽두께를 감소시키고자 하였다. 분리막의 두께를 감소시키기 위하여 분리막 제조 시 토출량을 감소시키고 중공 형성 시 주입하는 bore fluid 주입량을 증대시켰다. 토출량의 감소 및 bore fluid의 증가에 따라 벽두께는 감소하였고, 공기투과도와 수투과도는 크게 증가하였으며, 결과적으로 막증류 공정에 적용 시 투과플럭스도 증가하는 경향을 보여 주었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 정수슬러지의 고함수비 문제를 해결하고 재활용을 촉진하기 위해 정수슬러지와 화강풍화토를 다양한 배합비로 혼합하여 슬러지혼합토(sludge mixture)를 제작하고, 다양한 실내 시험을 통해 슬러지혼합토의 물리적 특성과 불포화 특성을 분석하였다. 시험 결과, 정수슬러지 함량이 증가함에 따라 동일한 모관흡수력에 대응하는 체적 함수비는 증가하였다. 또한 정수슬러지 함량 또는 세립분 함량이 증가함에 따라 공기함입치는 0.9kPa에서 2.4kPa로 증가하였다. 슬러지혼합토의 포화투수계수 값과 함수특성곡선의 결과를 활용하여 강우 시 침투해석을 수행하는데 있어서 중요한 인자인 불포화 투수함수를 산정하였다.

습윤 및 건조과정에서의 톱밥내 물리적 성상과 공기투과성의 변화 (Comparison of physical properties and air permeability in the sawdust during wetting and drying procedure)

  • 본 연구에서는 퇴비화에서 첨가제로 주로 사용하고 있는 톱밥을 대상으로 수분 혼합방식으로서의 습윤과정과 건조과정에서의 수분함량별 톱밥의 물리적 성상의 변화로 인한 공기투과성의 차이점을 파악하고자 하였다. 수분증가에 따라 겉보기밀도는 증가하며, 공기공극은 감소하였다. 그러나 습윤 및 건조과정에서 동일한 수분함량일지라도 습윤과정의 공기공극이 건조과정에 비하여 높게 나타나고 있어 습윤과정이 퇴비화 매체 내에서의 공기이동에 유리한 물리적 성상을 보이고 있다. 또한 수분이 증가함에 따라 톱밥 입자크기가 커지며, 수분함량 40%부터 60% 구간에서 습윤과정이 건조과정에 비하여 큰 입자를 형성하였다. 또한, 습윤과정에서는 수분이 증가함에 따라 공기공극이 작아짐에도 불구하고 수분함량 60% 정도에서 차감압력이 가장 낮아지고 이후 수분 포화상태에 도달하면 급격히 증가하고 있다. 건조과정에서는 습윤과정과는 다르게 포화상태에서부터 수분이 감소함에 따라 차감압력이 지속적으로 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 퇴비화에서 주로 활용되는 건조기준 수분함량 0.67(습량기준 40%) 이상의 수분함량 구간에서 유입 공기유량이 동일할 경우 습윤과정이 건조과정에 비하여 차감압력이 낮아 공기투과성이 개선되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 동일한 수분함량에서의 차감압력은 유입 공기유량에 비례하여 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 실험결과로서, 퇴비화공정에서 매체내의 공기이동성을 원활하게 하기 위하여는 습윤과정이 적절하며 수분함량 60% 정도가 최적의 운영조건이라 판단된다.

  • Knit products which had been limited only to underwear, recently became popularized, fashionized and highly classified covering even outer garments such as sportswear like golfwear, woman's dress, and man' s suit. As fashion cycle is getting shorter and the more a nation advanced prefers knit to woven fabrics knit industry has a very bright prospect, particularly woman's knit which is sensitive to fashion can be said as a fashion product with high value added. This study is to grasp the physical properties of stitch which are fundamental to the development of knit products. For this purpose, 2/20s of 100% wool were woven by the author of this study to basic plain stitch, rib stitch, varied transfer stitch, and float stitch on a SEMASEIKI cross knitter 7G to test the physical properties, and the result was as follows; 1. As for the relation between knit stitch and rate of extension recovery, rate of extension recovery was higher in the course direction than in the wale direction of three stitches except transfer stitch; rib stitch showed the highest rate of extension recovery in the course direction while float stitch showed the highest rate of extension recovery in the wale direction. 2. As for the relation between knit stitch and bursting strength elastic rib stitch showed higher bursting strength to indicate elasticity is an important factor of bursting strength and float stitch showed higher bursting strength too to indicate that the floating yarn on the surface plays a role of support. 3. As for the relation between knit stitch and air permeability perforated transfer stitch showed the lowest air permeability to prove that the size of perforation affects on the air permeability a great deal. 4. As for the relation between knit stitch and warmth retaining rib stitch through two lined needle bar showed the highest degree. The reason the warmth of perforated transfer stitch didn't decrease much was because the perforation wasn't big enough and content of air increased from the unevenness of the perforated parts through stitch variation. Based upon this result, each stitch can be characteristically summarized as follows; plain stitch showed a stable condition of knit cloth in four kinds of physical property test. And rib stitch is proper to tighten the edge of sleeve or clothe making use of its excellent extension recovery and to make socks for the highest bursting strength and warmth retaining. In the case of transfer stitch, seasonable designs can be taken by controlling the size of loop. Considering the pleasantness, underwear should be made of stitches with good air permeability float stitch was revealed to have color and pattern effects and a great bursting strength. This study has limitations in the aspect that it dealed with a small part of various knit stitches and the items of physical property test were not enough. The author of this study hopes that further studies would make deeper understandings about knit stitch based on more varied stitches and physical property tests ultimately to contribute to the development of fashionable designs proper to maximize the usage, function and originality.
