In this study, the changes in microbial communities of lamb meat packaged in the air (plastic tray, PT) and in a vacuum pouch (VAC) were assessed by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) during the storage at $4^{\circ}C$. For the PT lamb, the total viable count (TVC) was $10^7CFU/g$ on Day 5, and the dominated bacteria were Pseudomonas fragi, P. fluorescens, and Acinetobacter spp. For the VAC lamb, the TVC was $10^7CFU/g$ on Day 9, and the dominated bacteria were lactic acid bacteria, including Carnobacterium divergens, C. maltaromaticum, and Lactococcus piscium. One strain of Pseudomonas spp. also appeared in VAC lamb. The relative abundance of Enterobacteriaceae in VAC lamb was higher than that PT lamb, indicating a more important role of Enterobacteriaceae in spoilage for VAC lamb than that of PT lamb. The microbial compositions changed faster in the lamb stored in a PT than that stored in a VAC, and microbial community compositions of the late storage period were largely different from those of the early storage period for both the conditions. The findings of this study may guide improve the lamb hygiene and prolong the shelf life of the lamb.

This study was conducted to introduce fundamental data of hand-arm vibration and noise exposure levels with impact wrenches(double-hammer impact wrenches and oil-pulse impact wrenches) used in automobile assembly lines considering the process variables and tool variables. In studing, products per day, required time screwing the bolts or nuts per bolts or nut were considered as process variables, and capacity of bolts or nuts, air consumptions per minute, tool weights, RPM were considered as tool variables. Hand-arm vibration levels of 3 axis in each hand were measured using the instruments compling with ISO/DIS 5349 and noise levels were measured using a noise logging dosimeter. The results were as follows : 1. Required time to screwing the bolt or nut by oil-pulse impact wrenches is shorter than double-hammer impact wrenches but total daily exposure time of oil-pulse impact wrenches was higher than double-hammer impact wrenches because the number of bolts or nuts per cycle was many. 2. Oil-pulse impact wrenches have been used to screwing the large bolt or nut in comparing with double-hammer impact wrenches and required time to screwing the bolts or nuts were shorter than double-hammer impact wrenches because oil-pulse impact wrenches were using high RPM and large air consumption per minute. Noise level of oil-pulse impact wrenches was 8 dB(A) lower than double-hammer impact wrenches. 3. Dominant hand-arm vibration levels of double-hammer impact wrenches in each hand were $8.24m/sec^2$ of Zh axis in right hand and $9.60m/sec^2$ of Xh axis in left hand. Dominant hand-arm vibration level of oil-pulse impact wrenches in each hand was $2.59m/sec^2$ of Xh axis in right hand and $3.23m/sec^2$ of Yh axis in left hand. 4. In double-hammer impact wrenches, corresponding hand-arm vibration levels of Xh, Yh, Zh axis in left hand were higher than hand-arm vibration levels of right hand in 3 axis. In oil-pulse impact wrenches, Xh axis of right, Yh axis of left, Zh axis of left were higher than the corresponding hand-arm vibration levels of Xh, Yh, Zh axis in right and left hand. 5. Correlation coefficients among Xh, Yh. Zh axis of right and left hand hand-arm vibration levels in double-hammer impact wrenches and oil-pulse impact wrenches were commonly high in Yh axis and correlation coefficients of Yh axis in double-hammer impact wrenches and oil-pulse impact wrenches were 0.76 and 0.86,respectively. 6. As a measure repetitiveness, plotting total daily exposure time with the number of bolts or nut per cycle, direct correlation was shown between repetitiveness and hand-arn vibration exposure, and correlation coefficient between the number of bolts or nut per cycle and total daily exposure time in double-hammer impact wrenches, oil-pulse impact wrenches were 0.84 and 0.50, respectively. 7. Considering the total acceleration level and tool variables in double-hammer impact wrenches and oil-pulse impact wrenches, air consumption in right hand, and bolt or nut capacity in left hand were commonly the variable that explainability was high. Considering the noise and tool variables in double-hammer impact wrenches and oil-pulse impact wrenches, air consumption per minute was commonly the variable that explainability was high.

The drying speed of gravure ink are very fast because of evaporation drying type. The gravure ink are fitly selected variety resin and solvent for a wide range printing are adopted. Moreover, after-manufacture handling is necessary to various purposes. Though composition of gravure ink are same those of another printing ink, the viscosity of it are vary low compare with another printing inks. As property of variety printed matters, improvement of performance of printing layer and suitable after-manufacture handling, the more research of gravure ink are to be continue for development of printing technology. Generally, the gravure ink are made up resin, pigment, solvent and additive. Especially solvent are fitly selected for solution of resin, viscosity, and drying speed. Furthermore, it tis care of bad smell of remaining resin, poison and danger of fire of it. Because of the prevention of air pollution as restriction deflation of solvent, custody of dangerous object and improvement of work environment as labor safety hygiene and fire-low, the environment restriction of printing business become strict. This study has purpose of development of gravure ink of involved 30% below of alcohol is used for PVC film printing.
This study investigates and analyzes the diversity of menu in military meal services that are recognized by the soldiers who are familar with meal services and, suggest the implications on the results of the analysis. For the ranks of respondents in terms of demographic features, the sergeants were 43.2%(186), the corporals were 29.7%(128). It was identified that the diversity of menu had significant influences as 57.5%. Thus, for the satisfaction on the kitchen and mess hall service, the sanitary condition was the most considerable factor as 41.6%. Next, water supply facilities, sewer hygiene and towels in washstaynds were the issues to be considered more. In conclusion, this study was limited only to the air soldiers in Chungcheon. Then, the future study needs to expand the samples more than this study to apply the results to the entire army. Moreover, the study could not be actively performed because of the particularity of the army. Consequently, it is required to make these kinds of researches dynamically performed like for any other meal service industries.

The gamma-radiation sensitivity of three kinds of pathogenic bacteria to fish was investigated. $D_{10}$ values (irradiation dose required to inactivate 90% of the population) of Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio anguillarum and Streptococcus faecalis were 0.08, 0.10 and 0.44 kGy, respectively. The inactivation factors were 4.50 - 24.30 and 6.75 - 36.45 at radiation doses of 2 and 3 kGy. Raw moist pellets were inoculated with Edwardsiella tarda, Vibrio anguillarum or Streptococcus faecalis. Inoculated feed samples were packaged in air and irradiated at 5 kGy. This dose was effective in controlling the inoculated and general bacteria in fish feed. We consider gamma-radiation to be an effective method to sterilize pathogenic bacteria in fish feed.

Urine and/or feces disposal systems are expected to replace the diapers currently used for urine and feces disposal for the elderly with urinal and/or fecal incontinence. The are designed to detect the urine and/or feces, cleanse the excremental body organs with water transported from a cleansing water container in the main body, suction them into a fluid waste storage container for future disposal, and dry the area with hot air supplied also from the main body. These systems thus could relieve the chores of a caregiver and could also enhance the patient's hygiene. We reviewed in this paper the detection systems of urine and feces, the main components of the urine and feces disposal systems, and tried to classify the systems currently available in the market.

Recently, due to the rapid spread and continuation of COVID-19, customer demand for health and hygiene has increased, requiring the development of new products that express antiviral and antibacterial properties. In particular, viruses are much smaller in size than bacteria and have a fast propagation speed, making it difficult to kill. POSCO has developed eco-friendly PCM color coated steel sheets with excellent antiviral properties by introducing inorganic composite materials to the color coating layer on the surface of Zn-Al-Mg alloy plated steels. The virus is not only destroyed by adsorption of metal ions released from the surface of the coating film, but is also further promoted by the generation of reactive oxygen species by the reaction of metal ions and moisture. As a result of evaluating the developed products under the International Standard Evaluation Act, the microbicidal activity was 99.9% for viruses, and 99.99% for bacteria and 0% fungi. In particular, excellent results were also shown in the durability evaluation for life cycle of the product. The developed product was applied as a wall of school classrooms and toilets and ducts for building air conditioning, resulting in excellent results. Developed products are being applied for construction and home appliances to practice POSCO's corporate citizenship.
This study investigated the safety management behavior of dental professionals to minimize exposure to harmful elements of amalgam and resin. As for the use of amalgam and resin, 85.8% of them used amalgam. 100% of used composite resin 100%. 97.8% used acryl resin, and 95.7% used tray resin. 95.2% and 36.5% of them were aware of the harm of amalgam and resin respectively. When using resin, their safety management behavior score was 1.99 on average, and the lowest score was 2.50 on average for 'ventilate the indoor air when handling resin'. Their average score of the safety management behavior was 1.83 when using amalgam. The lowest score was 2.89 on average for 'use the rubber dam for patients when handling amalgam'. As a result of the safety management behavior based on general characteristics, all characteristics were significant with regard to amalgam, and my position at work and work experience were significant with regard to resin (p<0.05). The correlation between the safety management behavior and general characteristics was analyzed when dental amalgam and resin are used. Amalgam was statistically correlated with academic background (p<0.05) and position at work (p<0.05), whereas resin was statistically significantly correlated with age (p<0.05) and position at work (p<0.05). Accordingly, education about the harm of dental materials must be continuously provided for dental professionals when they handle dental materials so that safety management behavior will be conducted correctly, and active efforts to protect the health of dental professionals from harmful chemicals must be made.

This study was designed obtain and early detection the workers exposed to excessive copper dust and also to present biological exposure index. The exposed group consisted of 62 male workers at the metallurgy workplaces. To evaluate the degree of individual exposure the copper dust, each personal air sampling was collected. Biological exposures in the exposed group was quantified for the blood and urine copper levels using flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The control group consisted of 70 male adults with the history of nonexposure to copper by the inhalation occupationally. The average concentration of copper in blood and urine of the exposed group was $49.44{\pm}8.90(29.05-80.63){\mu}g/dl$, $39.99{\pm}11.04(29.62-80.63){\mu}g/l$ respectively. The average concentration of air borne copper was $0.48{\pm}0.31(0.03-1.18)mg/m^3$. The average concentration of blood and urine copper in the control group was $42.93{\pm}5.84(25.05-57.85){\mu}g/dl$, $33.02{\pm}13.38(12.00-82.05){\mu}g/l$ respectively. The difference observed in the average concentration of blood and urine copper of the exposed and control groups was statistically significant seperately (blood copper, p<0.05 ; urine copper, p<0.05). The relationship between the individual exposure concentration of air borne copper and the concentration of the blood and urine copper was statistically significant, respectively (blood copper, r=0.54, p<0.05 ; urine copper, r=0.37, p<0.05). The relationship between the working duration and the concentration of blood and urine was not statistically significant respectively (blood copper, r=0.14 ; urine copper, r=0.12). The relationship between the age and the concentration of blood and urine copper was statistically not significant respectively (blood copper, r=013 ; urine copper, r=-0.06). The relationship between blood and urine copper concentration in the exposed group was statistically significant (r=0.62, p<0.05), and the relationship between blood and urine copper concentration in the control group was also statistically significant (r=0.39, p<0.05).

The effects of freezing and thawing conditions on microbiological quality and microstructure change of inoculated (Listeria monocytogenes and Campylobacter jejuni) and non-inoculated chicken breasts were investigated. Chicken breasts were frozen with air blast freezing (-20, -70, and $-150^{\circ}C$), ethanol ($-70^{\circ}C$) and liquid nitrogen ($-196^{\circ}C$) immersion freezing. There were no significant differences on the populations of L. monocytogenes inoculated with chicken breasts under different freezing conditions. However, air blast freezing ($-20^{\circ}C$) resulted in significant reductions for total aerobic bacteria and C. jejuni compared to the control and other freezing treatments. The frozen samples were thawed with (hot or cold) air blast, water immersion, and high pressure thawing at $4^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$. the populations of total aerobic bacteria, and yeast and mold in the frozen chicken breast increased by 5.78 and 4.05 log CFU/g after water immersion thawing ($25^{\circ}C$) treatment. After five freeze-thaw cycles, the populations of total aerobic bacteria, yeast and mold, and C. jejuni were reduced by 0.29~1.40 log cycles, while there were no significant differences (P > 0.05) in the populations of L. monocytogenes depending on the freeze-thaw cycles. In addition, the histological examination of chicken breasts showed an increase in spacing between the muscle fiber and torn muscle fiber bundles as the number of freeze-thaw cycles increased. These results indicate that freezing and thawing processes could affect in the levels of microbial contamination and the histological change of chicken breasts.
