안티솔벤트 첨가제 공정에 의한 대기 중 고효율 페로브스카이트 태양전지 제작 (Air-Processed Efficient Perovskite Solar Cell via Antisolvent Additive Engineering)

  • 안티솔벤트를 이용한 결정화는 밀도 높고 균일한 페로브스카이트 필름을 얻는 효과적인 접근 방법이나, 일반적으로 사용되는 chlorobenzene (CB)과 같은 안티솔벤트는 독성을 가지며, 공기 중에서 페로브스카이트 결정화의 제어가 용이하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 공기 중 공정에 적합하며 친환경적인 안티솔벤트인 isopropyl acetate (IA)를 사용하여 페로브스카이트 태양전지를 제작하고자 하며 사이아노기, 카보닐기 및 벤젠 고리와 같은 작용기를 포함한 ethyl-4-cyanocinnamate (E4CN)을 안티솔벤트에 첨가제로 사용함으로서 성능 및 안정성을 개선하고자 한다. E4CN과 페로브스카이트 결함과의 상호작용으로 페로브스카이트 필름에 존재하는 un-coordinated Pb2+ 및 I2 결함을 제어할 수 있으며 이로 인한 재조합의 억제와 전하추출의 개선을 관찰할 수 있다. 그 결과 E4CN을 사용한 페로브스카이트 소자는 기준 소자 대비 개선된 18.89%의 최대 전력 변환 효율을 보여준다. 더불어, 기준 소자의 경우, 소자효율이 시간에 따라 급격히 감소하여 200 시간 후 효율값이 0%까지 저하되지만 E4CN이 도입된 소자의 경우, 300 시간 후 초기 광전변환효율의 60%를 유지하는 개선된 안정성을 보여준다.

  • Size distribution of particulate water-soluble ion components was measured at Gosan, Korea using a micro-orifice uniform deposit impactor (MOUDI). Sulfate, ammonium, and nitrate showed peaks in three size ranges; Sulfate and ammonium were of dominant species measured in the fine mode ($D_{p} < 1.8 {\mu}m$). One peak was observed in the condensation mode ($0.218\sim0.532{\mu}m$), and the other peak was obtained in the droplet mode ($0.532\sim1.8{\mu}m$). Considering the fact that the equivalent ratios of ammonium to sulfate ranged from 0.5 to 1.0 in these size ranges, it is inferred that they formed sufficiently neutralized compounds such as ($NH_{4})_{2}SO_{4} and (NH_{4})_{3}H(SO_{4})_{2}$ during the long-range transport of anthropogenic pollutants. On the other hand, nitrate was distributed mainly in the coarse mode ($3.1\sim6.2{\mu}m$) combined with soil and sea salt. Two sets of MOUDI samples were collected in each season. One sample was collected when the concentrations of criteria air pollutants were relatively high, but the other represented relatively clean air quality. The concentrations of sulfate and ammonium particles in droplet mode were the highest in winter and the lowest in summer. When the air quality was bad, the increase of nitrate was observed in the condensation mode ($0.218\sim0.282{\mu}m$). It thus suggests that the nitrate particles were produced through gas phase reaction of nitric acid with ammonia. Chloride depletion was remarkably high in summer due to the high temperature and relative humidity.

지방족 소포제 조성물의 소포특성 (Antifoaming Properties for Aliphatic Antifoamer Formula)

  • 소포제의 주성분으로 소수성 알킬기 탄산수가 12에서 18까지의 고급지방알코올, 고급지방산, 고급지방산에스테르를 사용하였다. 제조한 소포제의 입도분포, 온도, 농도에 대한 소포 특성을 1L/min의 유속하의 ASTM 방식의 Air Injection Method로 측정하였고, 표면장력과 유화력을 측정하였다. 이들 소포제의 입도분포에 대한 소포특성은 입도분포가 $5.5{\sim}6.8{\mu}m$ 범위인 소포제 조성물이 우수한 소포제 특성을 보였다. 묽은 수용액상에서 소포제의 표면장력은 농도가 $10^{-2}$wt%에서 $33{\sim}34$ mN/m 범위였고, 고급 지방산 알코올을 사용한 소포제 조성물의 유화력이 우수하였다.

  • Non-hydrolyzable fluorinated organosilicon compounds as an eletrolyte for the application of lithium-ion batteries (LIB) are synthesized. New synthetic method for the perfluorinated organosilicon compound containing spacer such as ethyl and propyl group with cyano moiety instead of ethylene glycol to prevent hydrolysis and to promote conductivity are developed in one pot reaction with moderately high yield. Air-sensitive boron trifluoride etherate is no longer required in this reaction. The products are characterized by spectroscopic analysis.

Reactions of Thioxanthylium Ion with Organomercurials

  • Reactions of thioxanthylium ion with dimethyl-, dibenzyl-, diisopropyl-, and diphenylmercury in the air gave 9,9'-methylenedithioxanthene, 9-benzylthioxanthene, 9-acetonylthioxanthene, and 9-phenylthioxanthene, respectively, as a 9-substituted thioxanthene. In contrast with reactions with aromatics with an electron-donating group, large amount of thioxanthene and thioxanthone were obtained. However, only trace amounts of thioxanthene and thioxanthone were obtained from the reaction with dibenzylmercury under nitrogen atmosphere. In order to explain these reactions, one electron transfer between thioxanthylium ion and organomercurials was proposed.

FDS를 이용한 구획실 백드래프트 현상의 수치적 재현성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Numerical Reproducibility for the Backdraft Phenomena in a Compartment using the FDS)

  • A numerical reproducibility of the backdraft phenomena in a compartment was investigated. The prediction performance of two combustion models, the mixture fraction and finite chemistry models, were tested for the backdraft phenomena using the FDS code developed by the NIST. The mixture fraction model could not predict the flame propagation in a fuel-air mixture as well as the backdraft phenomena. However, the finite chemistry model predicted the flame propagation in the mixture inside a tube reasonably. In addition, the finite chemistry model predicted well the backdraft phenomena in a compartment qualitatively. The flame propagation inside the compartment, fuel and oxygen distribution and explosive fire ball behavior were well simulated with the finite chemistry model. It showed that the FDS adopted with the finite chemistry model can be an effective simulation tool for the investigation of backdraft in a compartment.

Surface Treatment Technology for Metal Corrosion Layer Focusing on Copper Alloy

  • Using alkali treatment solution, neutrality treatment solution and acid treatment solution, the surface corrosion layer of copper plates and bronze plates that have been artificially corroded using HCl, $H_2SO_4$ and $HNO_3$ solutions were removed. In the case of alkali treatment solution, only air oxidation in the form of black tenorite and white cuproous chloride remained without being removed. In the case of using a neutrality treatment solution, a anhydrous type layer of reddish brown cupric chloride remained without being removed, together with this black and white corrosion substance. In the case of using an acid treatment solution, this red corrosion substance also remained, but all of the oxide was removed on the surface of the specimen that was treated by alternatively using alkali treatment solution and acid treatment solution. In the case of this treatment solution with the order of alkali-acid, oxidation no longer proceeded only through the distilled water cleaning process after treatment, thereby showing that oxidation from the cleaning solution no longer proceeded.

Submicrospheres as Both a Template and the Catalyst Source. Silica Submicro-reactor Dotted with Palladium Nanoparticles as Catalysts

  • Formation of the monodisperse submicrospheres consisting of ionic palladium(II) complexes, $[(Me_4en)Pd(L)]_2(X)_4$($Me_4en$ = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine; L = bis(4-(4-pyridylcarboxyl)phenyl)methane; $X^-=BF_4{^-}$ and $ClO_4{^-}$), has been carried out without any templates or additives. The submicrospheres were coated with silicates, and then calcined in air at $550^{\circ}C$ for 1 h, to efficiently form hollow-spherical $SiO_2$ submicro-reactors dotted with palladium(0) nanoparticles (PdNPs). That is, the submicrospheres act as both a template and a source of the palladium metal nanoparticles. The submicro-reactors containing nano-catalysts have been characterized by means of SEM, TEM, and XPS. Notably, the reactors were proved to be very effective for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling and hydrogenation reactions.
