시설아동과 일반아동의 정서적, 인지적 조망수용능력에 관한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Orphanage and Normal Children's Affective, Cognitive Perspective-taking Ability)

  • The purpose of this study was to comprehend the age-related differences in the relationship and developmental tendency between Orphanage and Normal Children's affective and cognitive perspective-taking ability. The subjects were 5-year-old (N=64) and 7-year-old (N=64) children. In each group, there were equal number of boys and girls, 128 Children were composed of(male: 32, female: 32) and orphanage Children(male: 32, female: 32). Feshbach & Roe's child perspective-taking ability test was modified for this study and the test included four facial expression cards and six different stories including three types of affection. In the procedure of study, after a set of story cards containing one of three affective types, the subject was asked to retell the story shown in each cards to study cognitive perspective-taking ability, and for the affective perspective-taking ability. Then the subject was asked to tell the feeling of the hero in the story and to select one of the four facial expression which is consistent with the feeling. The cognitive perspective-taking ability and affective perspective-taking ability response were coded three kinds of scoring respectively. Scored data were analyzed with MANOVA. t-test, Pearson Correlations and Fisher-z test. The results were shown as follow : First, both Orpanage and Normal Children's the cognitive and affective perspective-taking ability increased with age. Secondly, both Orpanage and Normal Children's perspective-taking ability was lower than Normal Children's perspective-taking ability. Thirdly, both Orpanage and Normal Children's correlation between cognitive and affective perspective-taking ability increased with age.

고등학생들의 과학에 대한 정의적 언식과 과학 탐구능력 및 과학 학습성취도의 구조분석 (Structural Analysis among Science Achievement, Science Process Skills and Affective Perception toward Science of High School Students.)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze relationships among science achievement, science process skills and affective perception of high school students. The affective perception was included attitude toward science and science anxiety in the study. The instruments were developed HARS and SAMS for this study. The subject was sampled 1,115 students by stratified cluster sampling method. The major findings of this study were as follows: The tendency to affective perception was investigated according to students variables. Atittude toward science was showed a negative perception on female than male, in rural area than city. Science anxiety was percepted highly on female than male, in rural area than city. Attitude toward science showed positive relations to science process skills, science achievement, but which showed negative relation to science anxiety. Science anxiety showed negative relations among science process skills, science achievement and attitude toward science. Structural relationships among affective perception, science process skills and science achievement were analyzed by effect size through the path analysis on the independent and dependent variables. By the results, it was indicated that there have significant direct effect not only affective perception influence on science achievement but also on science process skills in hypothesized model. Prediction of science achievement and science process skills were clarified to characteristics of the affective perception.Therefore, understanding about affective perception will be helpful to make the strategy of science teaching

  • The aim of affective engineering is to develop a new product by translating customer affections into design factors. Affective data have so far been analyzed using a multivariate statistical analysis, but the affective data do not always have linear features assumed under normal distribution. Rough sets model is an effective method for knowledge discovery under uncertainty, imprecision and fuzziness. Rough sets model is to deal with any type of data regardless of their linearity characteristics. Therefore, this study utilizes rough sets model to extract affective knowledge from affective data. Four types of scent alternatives and four types of sounds were designed and the experiment was performed to look into affective differences in subject's preference on air conditioner. Finally, the purpose of this study also is to extract knowledge from affective data using rough sets model and to figure out the relationships between rough sets based affective engineering method and statistical one. The result of a case study shows that the proposed approach can effectively extract affective knowledge from affective data and is able to discover the relationships between customer affections and design factors. This study also shows similar results between rough sets model and statistical method, but it can be made more valuable by comparing fuzzy theory, neural network and multivariate statistical methods.

수자원 보호에 대한 STS 모듈의 개발 및 적용 효과 (Development and Application Effects of STS Modules Regarding Conservation of Water Resources)

  • This study was intended to develop the STS module regarding conservation of water resources, called "A Project for the Conservation of Water Resources". Since each theme consisted of 2 subject activities, they had total 8 subject activities. Developed STS module was applied to 113 male students of 11th grader of D High School in Incheon. After they received 8 periods of the developed STS module, the environmental sensitivity and environmental conservation behavior and the interest of the affective domains related to science were determined. Results were as follows; Four themes of this module were 'What are the water resources?', 'What is a main cause for the water pollution?', 'A drinking water? or non-drinking water?' and 'Making UCC for the water resources'. Since each theme consisted of 2 subject activities, they were for total 8 periods. Developed STS module was found to be appropriate for the STS and they could be applied to the classroom easily. Students who were instructed according to the developed STS module showed that there was a statistically significant enhancement in the environmental sensitivity and environmental conservation behavior and in the area of interest of the affective domains related to science. Students who were instructed according to the developed STS module showed positive responses to the instructional methods by STS. Based on students' interview, they revealed that they were impressed with the hands-on activities and the process of subject activities. Instruction with STS module seemed to be more appropriate way of teaching compared to the traditional way of teaching. However, it will be necessary to develop more modules or programs which could be linked from the elementary school level to the high school level and to use them consistently in order to maximize their effects.

의류상품의 온라인 대량고객화 제품추천 서비스에 대한 소비자의 감정적, 인지적 반응 (Product Recommendation Service in Online Mass Customization: Consumers' Cognitive and Affective Responses)

  • This study examined the effects of product recommendation services as an atmosphere for online mass customization shopping sites on consumers' cognitive and affective responses. We conducted a between-subject experimental study using a convenience sample of college students. A total of 196 participants provided usable responses for structural equation modeling analysis. The findings of the study support the S-O-R model for a product recommendation system as an element of the shopping environment with an influence on OMC product evaluations and arousal. The results showed that OMC product recommendation service positively affected cognitive and affective responses. The findings of the study suggest that OMC retailers might pay attention to the affective and cognitive responses of consumers through product recommendation services that can enhance product evaluations and OMC usage intentions.

  • The main objectives of this study are to examine the relationships among the Bu-Ja- Yu-Chin-SungCheong, child's self differentiation and interpersonal relationship and to compare the effects of the cultural virtues. Bu-Ja-Yu-Chin-Sung-Cheong which is the Korean traditional parent-child affective bonding defined as a characteristic of relationship between parents and children within Korean culture by Choi, sang jin. The subject of the study are 656 students from 4 different elementary schools in Seoul : they were 5 and 6th grades. The study was executed by surveying them with questionnaire and the results were analyzed through co-relation analysis and multiple regression. Findings were: (l)the Korean traditional parent-child affective bonding has a positive effect on self differentiation and interpersonal relationship of a child. (2)The Korean traditional bonding has a impact on a child's acceptance of others and social behavior. However, according to the level of a child's self differentiation a child's dominance-ascendance, ostentation-narcism interpersonal relationship inclination increased.

행동 및 생리측정기반 개인 간 다중 감각정서 반응일치성 (Consistency between Individuals of Affective Responses for Multiple Modalities based on Behavioral and Physiological Data)

  • 본 연구는 참가자 간 상관(Intersubject correlation: ISC)기법을 통해 정서 유발 자극에 대한 한 참가자의 반응과 그 참가자를 제외한 나머지 참가자들의 반응 간 일치성이 각 정서표상 범주(지배가, 각성가, 정서가)와 다양한 감각양상(청각, 시각, 촉각)에서 어떠한 차이가 있는지 밝히고자 하였다. 참가자 간 상관을 계산하기 위해 사용된 데이터는 참가자들의 청각, 시각, 촉각 자극에 대한 생리 측정치와 정서 평정치로 구성되었으며, 한 참가자의 데이터 세트와 나머지 참가자들의 데이터 세트의 평균으로 구분한 뒤 가능한 모든 자극 쌍에 대해 상관을 구하는 방식으로 참가자 간 상관을 계산하였다. 연구 결과, 지배가를 기준으로 재정렬한 데이터 세트에 대한 참가자들의 반응 일치성은 청각 감각양상 조건보다 시각 감각양상 조건에서 높은 ISC 값을 얻었다. 다음으로 각성가로 재정렬한 데이터 세트의 경우 시각 감각양상과 청각 감각양상에서 차이가 있음은 같았지만, 지배가 기준으로 재정렬한 데이터 세트와 결과가 상반되었다. 마지막으로, 정서가를 기준으로 재정렬된 데이터 세트는 모든 감각양상에서 부정적인 데이터 세트들이 긍정적인 데이터 세트보다 참가자들의 반응 일치성이 더 높았다. 모든 데이터 세트에서 정서표상 범주의 높고 낮음과 상관없이 촉각 감각양상에서 높은 ISC 값을 얻었다. 본 연구의 결과는 참가자 간 상관의 다양한 감각양상과 정서표상에 대한 반응의 일치성이 의미하는 바에 대한 해석을 제시하며, ISC 분석 방법이 참가자 반응의 차이에 대한 패턴을 측정하는 유용한 도구가 될 가능성을 제시하였다.

Gender Differences in Continuance Intention of On-line Shopping Services

  • Given the extensive role of IS in everyday life and the increasing presence of women in IS users, understanding gender differences in individual technology continuance usage decisions is an important issue. Nevertheless, much of the large body of research on gender differences has just examined mean differences between women and men in terms of abilities, usage habit, and traits. Even though lots of psychology studies have shown that women, more than men, were influenced by affective factors, gender-affection-continuance use linkage has not been examined in the context of on-line shopping services. Therefore, the primary purpose of this paper is to seek to examine gender differences in terms of influence of affective factor in the context of IS continuance use. Meanwhile, IS continuance has been an important subject of study in the IT research area. To date, to explain why and how users are motivated to continue to use on-line shopping services, lots of theory-based research such as expectation-confirmation model (ECM) has been proposed. In particular, various affective factors have been proposed to explain continuance use of on-line shopping services recently. Affective factors have been regarded as essential factors for increasing relational strength and satisfaction. Several affective factors have been studied by prior IS adoption and continuance studies. Among them are enjoyment and anxiety. In IS continuance research, positive affect has been commonly and narrowly conceptualized and measured as the enjoyment which a person derives from using computers. Hence, in this study, we introduced intimacy factor, which was conceptually related to the quality of interactions and relationships in previous research. It also has been regarded as essential factors for strengthening human relationships. As a result, we have observed gender effect while examining intimacy-continuance bond. As expected based on the previous literatures, women seem to be more sensitive in affective factors. The contribution point here is that we find evidence in the context of on-line shopping services.
